(00:21):
Now enjoy the podcast well.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Two three, starting your morning off right. A new way
of talk, a new way of understanding because we're in
the stupid This is your Morning show with Michael Bell Trump.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Now I got a red bull in my hand, and
suddenly I got wings.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Here we go six minutes after the hour, walking to Thursday,
August the twenty second, one morn night.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
In fact, to this, Rod Steward sing Tonight's the night
mamaa Kamala.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
We'll give her acceptance speech and accept the nomination for
President of the United States, and then we can all
move on.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Tim did it.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Last night, and it was Coach Tim white House, says
President Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister, bb NET and Yahoo.
Late in the evening for President Trump held his first
outdoor rally since his assassination attempt. And Chick fil A
is launching a new streaming platform, but it doesn't work
on Sunday. Welcome to Thursday, August to twenty second. Yeah,

(01:22):
that's one of those stories that gets you scratching your
head that chick is not enough for you. Now we're
in the streaming audio business. Well you had, you know,
in the eye of the beholder. It's all a theatrical presentation.
So was it a hit or a flop last night?

Speaker 4 (01:38):
For me?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It could be I'm just tiring of the whole thing,
but it felt floppish to me. Nancy Pelosi when she
went in to all the jan first of all, the
room wasn't even listening to her because you know, she's old.
They don't they're done with the old. They brought the
the old out to the curb like garbage. But when

(01:58):
she when she prot t'srade January sixth, like it was
some kind of civil war. And she woke up the
next morning on January seventh and the flag was still there.
That's going too far with the theatrics. Mayor Pete was
a bore.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Bill Clinton was old and slow, made no impact.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
I was it bad, Yes, honestly it was bad, but
it was really more sad Coach Tim. I'll hand it
to him. He's a spirited, good speaker. He kept it short.
But this guy doesn't get very good grades on accuracy
or truthfulness. Olprah can't stand her, so her appearance did
nothing for me. Stevie, wonder you know I can do
without all these stars projecting their values on me. In

(02:43):
a sense, I will tell you just so you can
relate having my values and my beliefs and my policy
stances misrepresented, insulted and attacked. I can only take so
many days of this in a row. I'll admit to
you in full transparency. I'm about up to here with
it all. But Chris Walker is a GOP consultant and analyst.

(03:08):
In his whole life is dealing in this end of
the dirty end of the pool, the grand Illusion. Night three?
What did you make of what you saw? Chris?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Good morning, Michael. I agree with your your points. I
thought it was you know it. We had the same
conversation a month ago in Milwaukee. I mean you had
Monday and Tuesday that we're kind of crescendo building, and
then Wednesday was kind of a letdown. And I feel
like that was certainly the case last night, and I
agree with you. I spread something before all the speeches
last night yesterday that I thought was very expressient. This

(03:42):
is still Joe Biden's convention. It just happened to be Kamala,
you know, on the front now. And that's where you
could kind of sense. You talked about old you know,
Stevie Wonder and you know, I.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Like Bill, Yeah, there was a lot.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Yeah, there's still this kind of boomer mentality. But they're
trying to kind of paint it over with uh, you know,
with with with kind of their version of Bratt Summer
or whatever. I mean, they're trying to do some youth,
but it's really a bunch of old guys. I mean,
was I mean Chris Cuomo of all people, you know,
and coverage just talking about how the Democrats are lambasting

(04:21):
wealth and and you know, in success, and yet they
have luxury suites in the arena there that are going
for five hundred thousand dollars a pop, and they have
all the donors in the world coming into their convention
to to fund it. So, I mean, the hypocrisy in
its own right is is stunning and breathtaking, and if
we had an honest media again, I'm shocking that Chris CROOMO,

(04:42):
of all people, would be one to point that out.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
But well he's he's trying harder to be fair. It's
just it's not completely real yet. I want to play
a clip for you that it's a lot of what
you've been saying all week long, and that's smart what
you just said. This is earned wise, this is Joe
Biden's convention. It was just stolen from them. And then
the insertion of kmmal is to make you forget that

(05:06):
they have anything to do with the problems that they're describing.
That's why when you see memes like Okay, this is really,
you know, a little ridiculous. You're basically now running on
the promise to fix problems that you and your party
created in the first place, and you won't fix it
while you're in power right now. I mean the same

(05:27):
we can do that with the border, we can do
that with all these issues. But this is CNN and
their full panel. Now keep in mind, you got Van
Jones that was Obama's right hand man. You got David
Xrod that was Obama's strategist. These aren't news media personalities.
These are all former operatives, and they're sitting selling a
narrative and an agenda. They got one token Republican on

(05:47):
the team, and he makes this point, and I made
it the sound of the day because this isn't right
versus left. This is just accurate, all right, This is
just the reality. What you're seeing is a raw rob
Pep rally in that school gym.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Democrats have mostly controlled this country. Trump had it for
four the Obamas and Biden had it for the rest
of the time, and somehow it's still all Trump's fault
and somehow she hasn't been at the center of it.
So to me, that's still the glaring hole in this
campaign that hasn't yet been solved at the convention. How

(06:24):
do you explain all of the problems that will be
solved by the person who is currently in there for
the last three and a half years, who is supposed
to already be working on solving it.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Okay, now, of course he's absolutely right to go one
step further. This is the problem moving forward, This is
why you hear the Obamas talking about they're bad days coming,
because they know there's word salads coming, there's bad debates coming.
They know America they haven't filled this hole, and America
is still dealing with this, so you know, this is

(06:58):
still a big problem for them moving forward. Sure, they
got rid of Joe and they buried him after midnight,
and they've inserted Kamala and they're playing the theater that
she has nothing to do with it. But America is connected.
This dot not just an analyst on a CNN show.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Well, I mean I from your lips to God's ears, hopefully,
I mean honestly that I think that is that is
the election. If that is what the election is about
the failures of Joe, Biden and Harris. It's not just Biden.
I mean Harris is vice president. Then you know this
is This is a it's a it's a mandate election,

(07:35):
not a may Day election. But but it's a it's
an accountability election for who's in charge. They're desperately trying
to gaslight the American public into thinking that they're not
in charge. They have the House, they have the Senate,
in the White House. The only thing that's kept you know,
their most you know basis views that they is, you know,
a two or three seat majority in the House, thank goodness.

(07:55):
But you know, on the on the whole thing. Yeah, yeah,
I mean, you know, let's again, we talked about this
when when Kamala picked Tim Harritt, Tim wats a couple
of weeks ago. You know, he is the most liberal governor,
one of the most liberal governors in the country. I
mean lockdowns and snitch lines and all of the things
that you know, total garment. Donald are known for us

(08:16):
what he is.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I don't know why that started playing, but why not
play it there? This will just be a nice set
up to Donald.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Trump, Donald Trump, donald.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Trump, donald Trump, donald Trump, donald Trump, donald Trump, donald Trump.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Donald Trump, Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
By the way, this montage went viral yesterday and noticed
last night they tried not to say his name, Oprah
wouldn't dare say his name. But Donald Trump brought up
this morning on Fox two hundred ninety seven times.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
They said his name once.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
They brought up the border twice, they brought up climbs zero,
they brought up economy. But the reality is underneath the
surface of this water is a strong current and it's
not a real genuine enthusiasm for the party, the policies,
Kamala or it's really a fear and a hatred for
Donald Trump. I think that's still true. The rest is theater.

(09:05):
It's not real.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
I mean, I think that's one hundred percent true. And
I mean again, that's they only have fear itself to
fell to the American people because they don't have a record.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
To run on.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
And Kimnibly, let's be honest. I mean this, you and
I talk on the show. Honestly, it may work it
out there that could feel that way.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
So hey, it worked, by the way, you're not gonna
let me saying this. It worked for Donald Trump because
for half of them, over half of America, there was
a fear of Hillary Clinton and a disdain for Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump became president because people didn't want Hillary Clinton,
probably more so than they wanted him.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
That's right, And I mean the fallacy of the Trump
campaign cannot treat this like a twenty sixteen eleton because.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
You'll lose He.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
He is not the outside that he was in twenty sixteen.
He was a trial run for a new idea of
people who are sick of politics as usual, and he
upset a lot of it in a really good way.
But now you know he's been in the public, you know,
conscious for the last eight years. That's not the campaign
that he's going to be able to run. He's going

(10:19):
to have to be able to run on, you know,
a change in a way, but a change away from
the feathers of the Biden administration. You can't run a
twenty sixteen candidate right now. In some regards, he is,
and that's what he needs to start pivoting away from
talking about those issues that people are most concerned about.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Again, it's a convention, and I'll give him credit for this.
Their goal is internal. You have the business of a convention.
You got to leave with the president and a vice
presidential candidate to begin a general election. That business has
been done. It'll be completed tonight with Kamala Harris. Then
you want to unite the party. I think they arrived
united by default in their fear and hatred of Donald Trump.

(10:57):
And then you want to energize it. I'm sure all
of this has played maybe not Bill Clinton, maybe not
Nancy Pelosi, certainly probably not Joe Biden, but most of
it has played very well in that room. The question
is how's it playing outside of the room. Closing moments
with Chris Walker, Republican analyst and consultant. All Right, so
I genuinely believe that a RFK Junior is about to

(11:18):
leave the race.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
B his intention of leaving the race is to help
Donald Trump. C does it?

Speaker 2 (11:26):
I mean, you know, as I crunch the numbers in
these swing states, it looks like it hurts Kamala more
than him, and you can endorse Donald Trump, but that
doesn't mean everybody that's not happy with either is necessarily
going to go there. Does he help Donald Trump staying
in or getting out? Because I can't figure it out.
I feel like he would help him more staying in.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
My God, I agree with that. My sense is, you know,
he had an opportunity to get to get to make
or go away. But I think that's kind of subsided
a lot. I think people are kind of gravitating to
their Harris or Trump camp. I mean, but you're talking
about tens of thousands of votes in five states that
really gonna matter, So something like this really could swing

(12:06):
an election a certain way. My sense is is that
people who were kind of considering RFK were kind of
amalgamation of both, so I would imagine they probably kind
of split both again, and so I think it's probably washed.
My gun is it doesn't really move it that much
because I just I think that there were an equal

(12:27):
number of Republicans of Democrats were considering him because I
just didn't like the altars that they were presented from.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
The parties in twenty seconds or less. What do you
expect from Kamala tonight.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
I think she's gonna smile a lot. I think she's
gonna this is our introduction to America. She's going to
try to you know, see all these videos of her school.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
He's a fighter, family like, she's a fighter. You know,
she's a fighter.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
That's right by the way she wanted to do it summer.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
The entire week. She's a fighter.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
I'm just gonna keep interrupting and saying she's a fighter
because you know, no, but we're gonna get I think
we're gonna get MAMAA Kamala the fighter who will fight
for us, because you know, I want to call her
the next day and say, hey, can you give me
a hand with something and see what the response is.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
They are pull testing like crazy to figure out what
the American people want aside from the issues and what
they are hoping for is this joy, you know, this
party atmosphere. She's going to be presenting herself as you know,
a hopeful vision for the future. I think that's what
she's gonna have to do because it's the only way
that they can kind of continue to sell this.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
This why I'm going to take make a bold prediction.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
You got, coach Tim, You're gonna get Mamala Kamala, and
I think you're gonna get a white pants suit, white
or black?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
What do you think we're blue?

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Yeah, Hillary came out of white in twenty six or
twenty sixteen. I'm going I'm going blue. I'm going blue.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
She looks good in blue and black. I'm gonna go black.
All right, black and blue. We'll have the review tomorrow.
Chris Walker is always thanks for you.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
I guess this is your morning show with Michael del Trono.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
We're almost through this convention week August the twenty second.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
You know, I got I got admit. You know this
is an early show to do five.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
To eight Central, six to nine Eastern, and I have
to get up in the three o'clock hour to prepare
to be on at five o'clock in the hour where
I live, and conventions like this are tough on you
because you're you're getting three four hours sleep, and you're
fine the first night, the second night, but the third
night it starts. The cumulative exposure and lack of sleep

(14:37):
ads up. But this is not what I'm experiencing. I
did experience that during the Republican convention. But this is
just and I just wonder, And you can use the
talk back button on your iHeartRadio app, and I speak specifically.
In my mind, I'm thinking of Tim Walls last night.
Tim has every right to believe what he wants to

(14:58):
believe about marriage, about abortion, about government involvement in our life,
or you know, so on and so forth. He doesn't
have a right to misrepresent or to insult and attack
things that are not true.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
If, like me, you're feeling after a week of being
insulted in the name of love unity that you're not
invited to I mean, out of one side of the
amount of time about unity. And we're Americans, and we did.
Bill Clinton gave us a big lecture on how to
respectfully disagree with people and yet don't stop until they
see things your way. It's bizarre, meandering speech. But the

(15:42):
whole thing is just such a fraud. And then I
sat down and I know he's getting ready to leave
the race, but I saw this, this particular take from RFK,
and you know, he basically sums the whole thing up
with you know, just just a couple of months, we
were all, you know, told one thing, and now we're

(16:07):
being told something completely different and we're not allowed to
question it. Here's the quote. Kamala Harris went in four
weeks from being the worst liability for the Democrat Party
to the second Coming of Christ, without giving an interview,
without showing up for a debate, without a single policy
that anyone thinks isn't ridiculous, and without getting a single vote.

(16:32):
And this is all being sold to you as spirited
unity and democracy. Hi. I'm Michael del Jorno, and your
morning show can be heard live as it's happening five
to eight am Central and six to nine Eastern on
great stations like six' twenty WJDX at Jackson, Mississippi or
AKRONS News Talk six fort WHLO and Akron, Ohio and

(16:53):
News Radio five seventy WDAK and Columbus Georgia love to
be a part of your morning routine for We're Glad
as you're here now enjoyed the podcast. A couple of
emails Ron in Columbus, Georgia rights hey with Joe Biden
on vacation, Obama in Chicago, and Kamala busy on the
campaign trail.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Who the hell's running the country?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
That's that's actually a very worthwhile question to ask. This
is the one from Catherine is addressed to Aaron Reale,
who is joining us. Michael, next time you talk to Aaron,
tell her that when her kids get bitten by mosquitos,
all the things we talk about, look what people are following.
When her kids get bitten by mosquitoes, she should give

(17:38):
them children's benedryl chewables.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
It really has.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Thank you, by the way, I got I got several emails.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
What's going on with Aaron's cat? She's got herself a sprayer, folks,
all right, and got a sprayer on our hands.

Speaker 6 (17:56):
It's not great.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
That usually tells me that aa cat has lived in
that home and he is trying to communicate with the
cat that used to live there.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
But or you waited too long to neuter him.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
I can just tell you, and I sent you an
article on things you can do and try. But it
has been our experience once you got yourself a spray
or you got yourself a spring.

Speaker 7 (18:16):
He's such a sweet cat too.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
I really really like him, like my kids love him.
Like this is this is a predicament. I was not anticipating.
I was like, my furniture might get scratched, okay, accepted,
like like, I just was like, I.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Didn't know this.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
I didn't know that they did this, and I'm like,
this is not cool.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
And they have several styles in doing it too, which
is in the article and explained to you. They can
even side spray if they have to. That's that's impressive. Actually,
I think I did that on the golf course yesterday.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
But about me.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
You may not realize it, but if you sign up
for a cell phone service or even a streaming service,
you may have signed away your rights to take that
company to court.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Well, the fine print. All the devil's always in the details.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Indeed, I mean listen, you definitely did, and this is
what those whether it's like a cell phone a streaming service,
you know you're buying Starbucks with the Starbucks app. You
cannot see any of these corporations because what you did
buried deep in those clauses. And by the way, we're
talking about this because of that poor man whose wife
died after eating a bunch of things that she was

(19:20):
allergic to at a Disney park, telling the server that
you had dairy allergies all this other stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
She died.

Speaker 6 (19:26):
It's tragic. And then Disney said, Nope, you can't sue us.
You had Disney Plus opened in twenty nineteen and hit
the agreed to terms, and that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Lots of backlash.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
Now they said, okay, sure, we'll go to court. But
the reason they can say that, and the reason all
these other companies can say it, is because in these clauses,
buried deep within them is arbitration. Basically, it says we're
going to go to We're going to go to arbitration court.
And in arbitration cases are heard completely outside the public
court system. They are often heard in secret. They're with
private companies, and the cases are heard by vertil hired

(20:00):
judges and lawyers, so the defendants don't have the same
type of rights as a public system. Now proponents of arbitration,
they say it saves everybody money and time, and that's
not incorrect, but it's important to know that, like this
is just a part of the system and a part
of what you're definitely clicking when you hit that terms
of service.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
All right, So Disney Plus being the streaming service, what
does that have to do with I told you my
food allergy while I'm at the park?

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Do you serve me? I mean that's a stretch. No, exactly.

Speaker 6 (20:29):
And listen, this all came from back in the nineties
when that woman sued McDonald's over burns from hot coffee.

Speaker 8 (20:36):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
So, like you had lots of jokes about litigation and
Americans that are like crazy litigators. I'll actually tall like
a quick little antidote. After college, I lived in Singapore
and I worked there, and I remember I was standing
with a bunch of colleagues one time and it was
like I was young. I was only twenty two years
old and I'm standing with them and it was like
a British guy and an Ausy girl and a toom
Malaysian guys and they were just joking and they're like, ooh,

(20:58):
careful with Aaron careful, careful with eron. She's an American,
she might sue you. I remember I was staying there, like, wait,
is that something people say about us? We did see
a lot. I just never heard that, And I was like, oh,
is that, like we don't want that every day.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Sue ridiculous stereotype.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
By the way, I only drink McCafe curig coffee at home.
Really yeah, and I like it hot and then my iHeart,
you know, thermal mug keeps it hot. I'm going to
burn myself and see McDonald's because based on my heart,
based on this crazy Disney story, I mean, that just

(21:36):
doesn't make any sense. But I don't know that we're
you know, obviously, I've always been a proponent for tort reform.
We've desperately needed it.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
But I didn't know. I didn't know we had that
reputation of suing everybody.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
So I didn't either, Like, before I get.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
The emails, did you sue them? Because that's all I know?

Speaker 6 (21:53):
Right, Yeah, no, No, I've Unfortunately i've never knocked on wood,
I've had to sue anyone. I hope I never have to,
Like that's something you want to do. But I was like,
we are a little litigation crazy here, like we like,
I get that, but I guess that that's why we're
having this. You know, fast forward to the twenty twenties,
and now everything you do has this arbitration clause because

(22:13):
they're like, now we're not going to get caught out
like that. And I was like, oh, brother, that's not
a good symptom of something that like went out of hand.
You know, this is not a good good.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
It has always fascinated me that, you know, I will,
you know, talk about life and death issues and complexities
of policy and our history and our constitutional intent. But
whenever I bump any into anybody on the street, it's
never that it's something I said about fatherhood or marriage
or a fat guy voice that I didn't or talking

(22:42):
about it, you know, or like YESTERDAYBE was going about
when you were doing you know, Joe Biden in the
trunk of the call, you know. But it's like, whenever
you and I get together, we're discussing real stories, real news,
and then you know.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
All the emails are so what's wrong with cat?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I don't think something about you and I together nobody
takes seriously.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I don't know, Maybe.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
It's fine, it's fine.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
I'm okay with that, but yeah, there is a cat,
and I like the cat. But this is I've been like,
this has actually been like lingering in the back of
my head for a week now.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
I'm like, what am I going to do? I don't
know what to do.

Speaker 7 (23:19):
I know what to do.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
I think it's only a matter of time before that
cat is either going to the Rainbow.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Bridge or going back to the farm for which it came.

Speaker 6 (23:28):
I know, yeah, I think like that. I'm gonna you
can go back with his family on the me I'm okay.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
With the mosquito bipe.

Speaker 9 (23:35):
But where's frisky and very transparent living today? We'll talk
again tomorrow. Good job, all right.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
If you're just waking up, these are the top five.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
The stories of the day. And I know.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
You know when I said earlier, there's just only so
much of this I can take. I have to do
it for my job. I would my summery would be.
If you didn't watch last night, you didn't miss much.
I mean Nancy came out playing the whole insurrection thing
and then quoting the.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
National anthem.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
When she got up on January seventh and the flag
was still there. I mean that was almost a projectile moment.
But she's old that has an expiration date with this
new party of energy and joy. Pete was boring as
can be. Bill Clinton was as old as can be.
I don't know how long we're going to have Bill Clinton.
He looked very, very frail. Not a very effective speech. Oprah.

(24:33):
I could never stand her. I don't know if you know.
She certainly doesn't meet the youth movement. I mean, Rory asked,
the question is a legitimate question, how many of these
young people that they're trying to reach with this new
youthful party even knows who the hell Oprah is or
Stevie Wonder for that matter, who came to shut his
politics down our throat. But the whole night was really
about Tim, and the question was were we going to

(24:55):
get Governor Tim? Were we going to get social studies
teacher Tim? National guard Tim? No, you got coach Tim,
And of course he accepted. Did you think he wouldn't.

Speaker 7 (25:08):
Tim Walls has accepted the vice presidential nomination.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Thank you, first of all, the Vice President Harris, Thanks
for putting your.

Speaker 5 (25:17):
Trust in me and for inviting me to be part
of this incredible campaign.

Speaker 7 (25:22):
Speaking at the Democratic National Convention last night. Walls thank
Kamala Harris for making him part of the campaign and
said it is the honor of life. The sixty year
old Minnesota governor said he's proud to have protected abortion
rights in his state. He also talked about gun control,
adding our first responsibility is to keep our kids safe.
He said, if Donald Trump wins, Medicare will be in
jeopardy and abortion rights will be stripped away. And former

(25:44):
President Clinton addressed the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Wednesday night.
Clinton lauded President Biden for giving up political power and
exiting the twenty twenty four race. The seventy eight year
old also praised the Harris Walls ticket, calling the pair
two leaders who spent a lifetime getting the job done.
Without mentioning Donald Trump by name, he said, the other
guy only cares about me, myself and I that's politics.

(26:06):
Mark Neefield, NBC News Radio.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
The White House says, even though Joe's on vacation, he
did speak with Israeli Prime Minister bb Netanyaho yesterday.

Speaker 10 (26:13):
Brian Shook reports the leaders discussed the efforts to get
a ceasefire deal between Israel and hamas done. The White
House said Vice President Kamala Harris was also on the call.
Earlier this week, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinkln traveled
to Israel to meet with Netan Yahoo. Blincoln said Israel
had agreed to a ceasefire deal and it was now

(26:34):
on Hamas to accept the proposal. I'm Brian Schuk.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
RFK Junior appears poised to abandon his quest for the
White House, most expected tomorrow tomorrow at two to be exact.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Nick Harper has that story.

Speaker 8 (26:47):
It's reported that he may drop out in a live
address before appearing on stage with Trump on Friday at
an event in Arizona where he'll endorse the former president.
RFK Junior, a vaccine skeptic, conspiracy theory proponents, has struggled
in the polls since Kamalais took over the Democratic bid
from Joe Biden. Kennedy's endorsement could help the Republicans blunt

(27:10):
Democratic momentum following this week's party convention in Chicago. I'm
Nick Harper and Washington.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Peg NI couldn't resist a few jabs famous greuer Richard Simmons.
His cause of death has been revealed as accidental. Brian
shook us back with more.

Speaker 10 (27:24):
Los Angeles medical examiner gave the results to simmons brother,
who released them to the public Wednesday. The seventy six
year old died as a result of recent falls and
underlying heart issues. There were no illegal drugs in his
system when he died last month in his LA home.
Simmons had been out of the public eye for many years.

(27:44):
In recent interviews with reporters, he insisted he was fine
and just wanted privacy. I'm Brian show.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Theresa is a poorly threatening the Trump campaign with a
c desist order.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Rolling Stone reports that the threat from the Superstars team
game after Trump campaign spokesman posted a video clip of
President Trump getting off his plane set to Beyonce's song Freedom,
a song that's been used at least two times during
the DNC convention. The Harris campaign quickly received permission from
Beyonce to use the song after she entered the race

(28:21):
for the White House and Biden dropped out, dropped out,
forced out, we.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Don't have a song for that.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Trump has been issued a number of cease and desist
orders from musicians for use of their songs while campaigning
for office over the years, including Ozzie Osbourne, Celine Dion
and some of the other far left. And then there's
Stevie Wonder. Nobody has any use for any of his songs.
And by the way, why didn't they go with Isn't
She Lovely?

Speaker 4 (28:48):
This is Andy Hixon, formerly of Nashville, now living in Detroit, Michigan,
thanks to iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
My morning show is your morning show.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
All right, Rory, it's a big night. I guess we
got Coach Tim last night. I'm expecting Mama La Kamala tonight. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (29:05):
I think they're gonna go joy happy anything but significant
policy discussions tonight. But I also think that the honeymoon
ends when those balloons drop tonight, and that we're gonna
start saying, Okay, now, Vice President Harris, you know, Phil,
it's time to fill up that website.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
All right.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
I give credit where credit is due. It is a
democratic national convention. They've done a great job of hiding
some of the craziness outside the building, and then they
got to live with the whole, you know, hypocrisy of
the fence surrounding the perimeter. That doesn't you know, a
party doesn't believe in the wall, believes in defense to
protect themselves.

Speaker 11 (29:42):
Oh, come on, that's ridiculous. You know, that's the secret
service thing that they do. And they did the exact
same thing in the walking.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
And then and then yesterday and then yes sir, yesterday
they had the video of the guy trying to get
the illegal immigrant in there. So there's all of that,
all right, But the d n C is about the
d n C. They have definitely come up with their
ticket in a very historic way. Number one, Number two.
They've energized their party and they're certainly united. That's the
job of the convention. That much is done. Everyone should

(30:12):
agree with that, and everybody should be honest. They did
that theater well, and they have pulled it off for that.
They get credit how it plays, how it's been playing
outside of that building, how it's been playing outside across
the country. Listen, all I know is both Michelle Obama,
Barack Obama to a great degree, even Hillary Clinton warning

(30:32):
them there's a battle ahead, there's bad days ahead, and
only you're gonna be able to carry us over the
finish line.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
So somebody sees a tough fight ahead.

Speaker 11 (30:42):
Well, sure, I mean it's already close, you know, in
upside down in some states, It is a come from
behind kind of a thing, as Coach Walls laid out
last night, according to the poll numbers. And you know,
things are shifting significantly in this very short time span
because we don't know who's going to turn out in
November or actually start turning out in late September. So

(31:03):
it's this is all a bit of a crap shoot
at this point.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
It's all last minute, speaking of a last minute crap shoot,
say goodbye to RFK. All indications are tomorrow round two
he's going to withdraw from this race to give his
talk about crazy Year. This is a lifelong Democrat from
the Kennedy family of Camelot, and he is exiting the
race early to help and endorse Donald Trump to avoid

(31:28):
a Democratic nominee. That shows you how much the party
has changed. The question is what's that going to influence
in these swing states? Is he more influential in the
race taking votes from them or getting out and endorsing.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
And the only time will tell. Two months plus from now,
no one's going to remember you're feisty, aren't you with
your lack of sleep? I like that all right.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
And then you know, as far as Coach Tim, you
know the highlight is going to be Barack and Michelle
Obama right hands down?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Does anything even compare that? And then how long they win? Night?

Speaker 11 (32:00):
And well, the rumor is now if Pink is performing,
does she descend from the ceiling?

Speaker 1 (32:04):
That's going to be the new view.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
But that might be interesting, all right, so one of
the odds, Kamala gets overshadowed.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Look, it's gonna all be written. She's going to stick
to the teleprompter.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
But the tough days ahead are the interviews and debate
or debates. But I suspect tonight it will all be
orchestrated very well. It'll all be scripted very well, and
she'll perform it very well.

Speaker 11 (32:25):
Yeah, it's the infomercial with the final pitch, everything but
the eight hundred number on the screen trying to steal
the deal. That you know, that's after four days of this,
this is this is the last push to get you
to buy the product.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Do you get a sense that they are really across
the country as excited about Kamala Harris as they are
fearful and a hatred of Donald Trump? Because I have
felt that current throughout the week, and Donald Trump, of
course made that painful today he said, they mentioned my
name two hundred ninety seven times. They've only talked about
the border once. You're gonna scream. They talked about it
more than that. The economy, never in crime twice crime.

(32:59):
They really haven't touched on very much. But it does
seem like the driving force leaving. This is still a
vote against Trump more than a vote for Kamala.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
But that's worked in the past.

Speaker 11 (33:10):
This is all about hype and feelings enjoyed. Didn't you
hear Oprah yesterday? So this is going to be all
about all that other stuff. It's not a comparison of
policy A versus policy B. This is about, you know,
just pushing that other button to get people ramped up
and excited.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
By the way, betting market is still favorite Trump. I
wonder what they know. All right, we'll talk again tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Rory O'Neil always gets the final story, great reporting. We'll
see them.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
We're all in this together. This is your morning show
with Michaelden Hill.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Show or not.
