Enjoy one, two three, starting your morning off right, A
new way of talk, a new way of understanding because
we're in this together. This is your Morning Show with
Michael Bill Jarman.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Seven minutes after the hour, back to the crind, everybody,
back to business as usual, or as Elvis would say,
taking care of business baby. Thursday, January the second, you
have our Lord twenty twenty five, seven minutes after the hour,
on the air and streaming live on your Iriheart Radio app.
This is your Morning Show. I'm Michael del Jorunner. We
welcome nine ten am Superstation w f DF in d Detroit, Michigan.
(01:01):
My life began in Flint, Michigan, just down the road
and comes full circle as the superstation is number fifty
on the Your Morning Show affiliates. It's good to be
home and good morning. Detroit officials say the Sugar Bowl
game between Georgia Notre Dame and New Orleans will kick
off four eastern, three Central today. President elect Donald Trump
plans to attend the funeral of Jimmy Carter. Will remember
(01:24):
him more later this hour with John Decker, our White
House correspondent, and the FBI says it believes the suspect
who drove through the crowded Bourbon Street crowd in New
Orleans was not acting alone. Let's get you the very latest.
The death hole has now risen to fifteen thirty five injured,
and Rory O'Neil has been following our top story this morning.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Good morning, Rory, Good morning Michael, and sad to say
Happy New Year.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Under these circumstances, Let's get the very latest on this.
So this a we got all of the rental through
turo and the link to the cyber truck explosion and
lost Vegas, and then we've got the name. But it's
you know, obviously a sympathizer with ISIS, but a former
(02:09):
veteran of the United States Army. I mean, give us
the lowdown. What do we know this morning more about
this attacker and the motive seems obvious.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Yeah, a lot of those contradictions, and apparently there are
some videos that were posted they've since been taken down
that does suggest that this was an ISIS inspired attack
and maybe that this man was planning to even kill
his own family as part of this. But really they're
trying to reconstruct this guy's life in the past few
months to try to figure out what led to this.
(02:40):
Was he recruited in some way by ISIS? Was this
not just ISIS inspired but ISIS directed? And is there
a connection to what happened at that Trump Hotel in
Las Vegas and the cyber drug incident as well.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Okay, so he identified as Shamsuding Jabbar? Is that correct?
Has that a taken name or is that his birth name?
Speaker 4 (03:02):
We believe that was his birth name, and because when
you look at some of the still photos we've seen
of him in his.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Fatigues, his name is there stitched on his chest as
far Okay, so forty two years old, the citizen of Texas,
once served in Afghanistan. He of course a little luck
with this kind of stuff too, by the way, Yeah,
plowed through the crowd and then came out shooting. Two
officers were hit and then he was taken out by police.
I suspect his computer will probably give us the most answers, right.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Yeah, that's going to be and his phone obviously using
this app in order to acquire the truck that was used.
So they're really going to try to put together a
digital fingerprint in this case as well, and they want
to know who else may have been involved. We believe
that there were other improvised explosive devices found in the
French Quarter, which is located only about a mile I
(03:56):
think it's one point two miles from the super Dome
where the Sugar Bowl is taking place. So that's why
they postponed it, just to make sure the area was safe.
So a lot of that legwork is still being done,
but I think it's going to all come together rather quickly, all.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Right, and we'll have more in the third hour with Rory.
Let's explore our security barriers that would have protected crowds
on Bourbon Street were removed before Wednesday's attack. As to
why we'll discuss that next hour, good reporting Werena, you
need to go all right, it is eleven minutes after
the hour, and again what we know about him US
(04:30):
Army veteran. He was flying an ISIS flag from the truck.
The truck is significant because it came from Turo Rental,
same service used by the Tesla cyber truck explosion in
Las Vegas. The Las Vegas cyber truck was rented from
Turo in Colorado. The pickup truck rented from Turo before
(04:51):
carrying out the attack on Bourbon Street. What led to
the canceling of the Sugar Bowl was when they began
to see he didn't act alone, and were the other
things planned And while everybody was focused on the French Quarter,
was there a much bigger plot being planned for the
Superdome And it took time for that to clear and
there wasn't enough time to clear it before last night's kickoff,
so that game will be played at fourth Central or
(05:13):
four Eastern three Central Today. FBI said police found weapons
and a potential explosive device in the vehicle. There was
obviously explosive devices in the cyber truck in Las Vegas.
Two potential explosive devices were found in the French Quarter
and rendered safe. The ISIS flag, of course, was attached
(05:34):
to a staff protruding from the trailer hitch of the
rented vehicle, prompting an investigation to links to terrorist organizations.
Although there was confusion, as you may recall, at first,
the FBI said this was not terrorism, local law enforcement
in New Orleans said it was terrorism by the FBI's only.
By the FBI's own definition of terrorism, it was terrorismw
(06:00):
While the Louisiana Attorney General Liz Morrel weighed in on
the postponement of the Sugar Bowl game after the deadly
attack in New Orleans, she told NBC News that she
believes the game should be postponed until Friday, and it
was eventually not an easy decision to make, but one
with safety in mind that had to be made. We
(06:22):
also had another incident where a twenty four year old
This was the part about New Year's that went kind
of miraculously. Well, this person purposely waited and waited for
the train to start arriving in New York and then
just pushed somebody right in front of the train. Now
(06:45):
there's some brain injuries, which is serious stuff, but it
looks as though the victim is going to survive what
would have been an attempted murder. The twenty four year
old was arrested. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, authorities are investigating
the Tesla cybertruck explosion that was outside the Trump Las
Vegas Hotel Trump Presidential political Could this have had something
(07:07):
to do with that? Could it have been terror related
because they were both Turo rentals. Was it related to
New Orleans? I think it was related to Turo because
they're less traceable when you're renting. Sheriff Kevin mcmahill of
Las Vegas told reporters that investigators were looking to any
possible connections to the deadly attack with New Orleans. So far,
(07:28):
they have not yet discovered any. The driver of the
cyber truck pulled into the valet area of the hotel,
the vehicle exploded. According to officials, the driver was killed
and so far is the only fatality from the instant.
Seven bystanders had bystanders had minor injuries. You just don't
know how these things were loaded, but the cyber truck
(07:51):
did seem to contain most of the explosion, especially outwards,
held remarkably allowed no one else to be injured. The
truck was in front of the hotel for about fifteen
twenty seconds before it exploded. He said that it was
rented in Colorado and the license plate readers caught it
arriving in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning. So we had
(08:15):
the terror attack in the French Quarter just three hours
after midnight. Then you have the pushing on a subway
in New York. Then you have whatever this explosion was
or was supposed to be in Las Vegas versus what
it became. A very violent start to the new year.
(08:36):
Let's hope that's not a precursor of more to come.
I'm thinking of well Jeffrey, of course commenting on his name, sweetee,
but I'm thinking of his haunting quote, which was there's just,
you know, only so much you can do. At the
end of the day. You just can't account for every
(08:57):
possible scenario. So I know there was much discussion about,
you know, cement barricades. Maybe Bourbon Street. Being from New Orleans,
I can tell you that every Friday Saturday night virtually
it's blocked because of the amount of people in the street.
Maybe there ought to be permanent cement barricades forever. As
(09:19):
it turns out in this case, there were more permanent
barricades that were removed on Wednesday, So There'll be a
lot of questions concerning that. But you you know, you
just can't, you know, think of everything. And in this case,
we don't know if it's a recruited isis sympathizer former
(09:41):
US Army veteran at forty two, as Rory pointed out,
that's old for this kind of thing. Is this mental illness?
Is this terrorism? Is this political and motivation? All of
that needs time to dust out. I will note that
the President had prepared remarks that clearly were interrupted when
the teleprompter broke, and then he quickly wrapped it up.
(10:03):
You'll hear that and sound to day. And he refused
to answer any questions after. But he had no problem
writing another couple billion for Ukraine. And he's gonna give
the highest, second highest civilian honor to those who investigated
the January sixth insurrection. So Joe Biden or the body
that once housed the mind of Joe Biden, continues Jack
very partisanly and political. On his way out the.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Door, It's your morning show with Michael del Choano.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Not one talkback today. The look if I'm back to work,
you guys, get back to work. Being smart. Alex hit
that microphone on your iHeartRadio app. Ask a question, make
a comment instantly, and you can be a part of
the show. Miss your voice. Are my boys here at least?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (10:47):
You know what I think? I do? Have them standing
by Mike. What's that? Use that talkback or email Michael
de at iHeartMedia dot com. All right. Twenty four minutes
after the Good Morning, these are your top five stories
of the day, both Biden and Trump addressed the terror
attack in New Orleans. Here's Mark Mayfield.
Speaker 6 (11:08):
President Biden says that the man who drove through a
crowded Bourbon Street in New Orleans was possibly inspired by ISIS.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
The mere hours before the attack, he posted videos on
social media indicating is inspired by ISIS, Christian desire to kill,
desire to kill.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
Biden gave remarks Wednesday night at Camp David on what
he called the despicable attack on Bourbon Street in New
Orleans that has left at least fifteen people dead and
injured dozens more. FBI spokesperson ALTHEA and unconsidered a news conference.
The man has been identified as forty two year old
shumsud Din Jabbar, who was a US born citizen from
Texas that also served in the Army. An ISIS flag
(11:46):
was found on the trailer hitch.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Of the pickup truck. He used.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Investigators do not believe that Jabbar acted alone, and President
delect Trump says New Orleans has his full support. After
at least fifteen people were killed in dozens injured when
a vehicle drove into a crowd on Bourbon Street. On
truth Social Tree, Trump said the crime rate in our
countries at a level never seen before. Trump said his
hardest with all the victims and their loved ones. That's politics.
I'm Mark Mayfield.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Speaking of the President elect, Donald Trump confirmed he plans
to attend the funeral of Jimmy Carter.
Speaker 7 (12:11):
Trump made the comment Tuesday while speaking to reporters at
a New Year's Eve celebration at mar A Lago. Former
President Carter died Sunday at the age of one hundred.
Trump wouldn't say if he had spoken to the Carter
family since his death, but said he would attend the
state funeral for Carter next week in Washington. He also
predicted that Republican Mike Johnson would retain his position as
(12:34):
House Speaker and double down on his support for HB
one visas for high skilled immigrants. I'm Brian Shook.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Services for the thirty ninth President of the United States,
Jimmy Carter, will begin on January the fourth in his
hometown of Plains, Georgia, with Carter lying in repose at
the Carter Presidential Center. Then the thirty ninth President will
lie in state in the Rotunda of the US Capitol
on Tuesday the seventh. A visit Washington National Cathedral will follow.
On January ninth. Officials say the Sugar Bowl game between Georgia,
(13:06):
Notre Dame and New Orleans will kick off today four
pm Eastern three Central. Former longtime FBI official Rob Diamico
says other college Bowl games and big New Year's events
stepped up security following the attacks in New Orleans, but
you can't account for every scenario. That's still a challenge.
Security can only do so much.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
You have to really look at where the biggest crowd
and the most vulnerability is going to be.
Speaker 8 (13:30):
You want to put all your resources and assets because
that's the worst catastrophic event.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Meanwhile, the explosion and fire of a Tesla cyber truck
at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. It's being
investigated as a possible terrorist attack as well. Retired ATF
agent Scott Sweeto says early video evidence is showing that
the deadly fire was not an accident.
Speaker 9 (13:52):
You can see multiple large flashes.
Speaker 10 (13:55):
You also hear whistling sounds in that video, and those
whistling sounds are there consistent with the sort of fireworks
that you could buy as a consumer.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
And set off seven minor injuries, but only fatality was
the driver himself. Sheriff Kevin mcmahill of Las Vegas Metropolitan
Police Department confirmed the cyber truck was rented from the
same company as the vehicle used in the New Orleans Eve,
New Orleans Christmas early morning attack. Meanwhile, the US is
(14:24):
going to provide Ukraine with another round of aid. Lisa
Carton reports.
Speaker 11 (14:28):
On Monday, President Biden announced two and a half billion
dollars in security assist since for Ukraine. Biden said the
US will continue to work relentlessly to strengthen Ukraine's position
in its war with Russia for the remainder of his
time in office.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
That's your top five stories of the day. Thanks for
waking up with your morning show. We come back, John Decker,
our White House correspondent, Will join us to remember the
thirty ninth President of the United States.
Speaker 9 (14:52):
When your morning show continues, Hey, what are you doing?
You can't stop?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
No, wait a minute, I just realized something. I had
my brakes confused. We still have another minute. Yeah, it's okay.
You know I've been gone so long. I've been gone, gone,
going up and gone so long. I've been gone gun
so well, that gives me time to talk about Penn
State easy over running the show. No, it's me. That's
time year. Well, I never thought of that New Year.
(15:20):
I could just blame you. Penn State thirty one fourteen
over Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl, and the Alliance
will play the winner of tonight's Notre Dame in Georgia Game.
They may have lost Arizona State, but they won a
lot of hearts. Cam scatter Bow got a Bow's got
a boat? Can you do the fung Gondo throws a
forty two yard touchdown pass, runs for one hundred and
forty three yards and two touchdowns, but comes up short
(15:41):
and double overtime. The Longhorns thirty nine thirty one over
Arizona State and Ohio State. Sweet revenge against the Ducks
forty one twenty one winners of the Rose Bowl Will Howard.
I like this guy to be a Titan someday. I
like his size, I like his arm, I like his mind.
Three hundred nineteen yards, three touchdowns. And how about that
freshman wide receiver, where do they find him at a
Ohio Jeremiah Smith? One hundred and eighty seven yards and
(16:02):
two touchdowns.
Speaker 11 (16:06):
Hi, I'm Andrea del Giorno and my husband, and my
morning show is your morning show with Michael del Giorno.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Hi, It's Michael.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Your Morning show airs live five to eight am Central,
six to nine Eastern and great cities like Memphis, Tennessee, Telsa, Oklahoma, Sacramento, California.
We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
But we're happy you're here.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Now. Enjoy the podcast, and I'm sure there will be
discussions of permanent barriers, kind of like you see in
our nation's capital. It's a shame that they're needed, but
they are. And no, as you will note, only when
it was relevant that I mentioned my week and a
half vacation because I was afraid of getting to stop
your wine and beat the boy. That's before I even
(16:51):
knew it was Brian doing it. But you know, I
am trying to be more positive in the new year,
so I will not succumb to the pressures of red
behind the scenes, who would like me to make the
simple point the talk radio host point that every time
(17:12):
there's a shooting, unless of course, it's aimed to Donald Trump,
we all talk about how evil guns are. Both of it.
The explosion, obviously in Las Vegas was a cyber truck,
and the F one fifty was an EV used in
New Orleans. So he's egging me on to call for
a ban of all EV vehicles as terrorist weapons. He's like,
(17:33):
a good idea. I refuse to do such a thing. Uh,
where's my White House correspondent, always living a better life
than me? My goodness, the pictures you shared over the holiday,
I mean, you're at the White House, then you're you're
showing me how you were with all the living presidents
at one time. I wanted to have a serious conversation
(17:53):
with you, and I think it's you that we need
to have it with. As a White House correspondent. I
don't know that your tenure goes back to Jimmy Carter,
but I know your life does that your life does
and so does mind. Jimmy Carter, probably in my mind,
will not go down as one of the best presidents,
but he will go down as one of the godliest
men of faith, who lived his faith, and one of
the greatest guys. How can we properly and respectfully honor
(18:20):
the thirty ninth president and remember him? I think for
the man he was right.
Speaker 12 (18:25):
Well, I think that's right. You know, everything he did
in his life, going all the way back maybe to
his youth, going you know, you know, entering the Naval
Academy at the age of seventeen, everything was done for
the good of our country. So you may not have
agreed with every policy that he undertook as President of
the United States, but in his mind he was carrying
(18:47):
out those policies to better our country, to better our nation.
And if you are someone like I am that has
just tremendous respect for the office of the presidency, that's
how you pay respect to Jimmy Harder who passed away
at the age of one hundred. Well we were away,
and who will be honored with a day of mourning
in our country on January the ninth, a week from now,
(19:11):
at the National Cathedral here in the nation's capital.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I wasn't even referring to me. I'm saying usually in
every poll he's towards the bottom in terms of effectiveness
as a president. But you know, Jimmy Carter had the
character for the office, the background for the office. He
was a great husband, a great father. All he did
for habitat for humanity. I think historically, probably the you know,
(19:38):
it was a really bad economic time and America was
very divided, especially over economic policy. Probably the biggest mistake
he made was in foreign policy in Iran, and that
led to the Ayatola and the hostage crisis. But you
just couldn't find a better human being. And at one
(19:59):
hundred years old, he leaves the earth and is reunited
with his wife and a god he serves so faithfully.
I just thought the world of him is a man.
And you know, I'm not biased. My favorite president ever
was John F. Kennedy, who was a Democrat. So but
this this in particular, was a very very good man.
(20:19):
I think we're going to have. First he'll be lying
in state at his library in Plains, Then he'll lie
in state at the rotunda at the Capitol, and then
finally at a church the services I think are January ninth.
Is that when it is that everybody's.
Speaker 12 (20:36):
In January ninth, That that is when the tributes to
Jimmy Carter will take place at the National Cathedral here
in Washington, DC. That's the funeral service that will be
attended by all the living former presidents, including Donald Trump,
the future president of the United States as well.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
You know, it's interesting, and I said this to you
in a text message. The oldest living president now is
the current president, Joe Biden. How's that for an interesting list?
All right, Well, Washington, Washington reaction to what we saw
in New Orleans primarily and then also in Las Vegas.
And Joe had teleprompter issue, but he got his comments in,
(21:16):
and I did respect that they're going to wait until
they get more information before they make any kind of
definitive statements. I think that's the wise move at this point. Yeah.
Speaker 12 (21:25):
I think there are just a lot of unknowns at
this point about the person that carried out this terrorist
attack in New Orleans yesterday, you know, in terms of
whether he was simply inspired by ISIS. He had that
ISIS flag in his truck when you know, police searched
that vehicle or whether he was taking direction from isis
(21:46):
that I think is a big question that has left
unanswered at this point. And you know, you can understand
why law enforcement, local, state, federal law enforcement wants to
make certain that you know, this wasn't an attack to
draw our attention from something else. I think that was
one of the reasons why you saw the sugar bowl
(22:06):
that postponed until today four.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
Pm Eastern times.
Speaker 12 (22:10):
So a lot of unanswered questions, including you know, whether
there was any connection to what happened out in Las
Vegas at the Trump Hotel there with that cyber truck
exploding just outside the Trump Hotel. So a lot of
unanswered questions, and that really is one of the things
that law enforcement, federal law enforcement in particular, needs to determine.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
There's a big blank slate in front of us. It's
called twenty twenty five, and whatever happens, we're going to
go through it together. And whatever we go through together,
it's great to have you by my side. Happy New Year,
my dear friend, and we'll talk again. Thank you. Got
a White House correspondent John Decker remembering the life of
Jimmy Carter Our thirty ninth president who passed away at
the age of one hundred. Yeah, the tie is Turo
(22:52):
Rental and Turro is like the We had this debate
off the air. The band aid the coca of this
for me is Airbnb. But is it vbro? Nobody? I
wish somebody in the talkback would tell me how to
pronounce it. Is it? Do they say vbro or vibro
or what is the That seems to be the more
(23:14):
popular one now that Nick Saban does the ads for.
But it's that concept with vehicles, and so Turo Rental
was used for the cyber truck. It was rented in
Colorado and the explosion took place at Trump International in
Las Vegas. And then Turo was the rental that Jabbar
used in the New Orleans attack and both were evs.
(23:37):
But were they linked together? No, you know, And it's
also worthy of note. I don't know anybody. I certainly
didn't watch much television during my week and a half,
so I have to say this hedged a bit, But
I don't anticipate or think or have come across anyone
who really thought. Now do I feel for all those
(23:58):
that were there for the Sugar Bowl because it is
Sunday night game, and there might have been many who
paid a lot of money to fly there, a lot
of money to stay there, a lot of money to
eat there, and a lot of money for their tickets,
and maybe they had plans to be home by Monday.
This would certainly be upsetting to their plans. But with
what we knew yesterday in the afternoon, there was no
(24:18):
way that game should have been played. I think it
crossed all of our minds, even as the citizens, that
this could have been something diversionary to get all the
FBI and all the law enforcement resources to the French
quarter for something bigger to take place at the Sugar Bowl.
And once you come to the conclusion that Shimud didn't
(24:39):
Bahar Jabbar did not act alone, then you had to
wonder if there were other targets. There was only security
in mind in the decision to delay the Sugar Bowl,
and I'm sure security will be on full alert tonight
this afternoon really for Eastern three Central is Notre Dame
and Georgia will finally face off in the Sugar bull
(25:00):
delayed to day due to the terror attack. This is
your Morning Show with Michael DELTONA stop you Wye and pizza.
I can't believe that was Brian all along, my trained boy.
I finally piz to taim a regular Columbo, aren't it?
Fifty minutes after the hour, ten minutes to be to
(25:21):
work on time on the East Coast. Thanks for waking
up with your morning show. I am Michael del Jornal.
Let's go to James on w KBN in Youngstown. Happy
New Year.
Speaker 8 (25:29):
Michael Carter was a great human being, but a total
idiot as an as a leader. We're suffering now on
New Year's from all the Muslim craziness that he started
when he got rid of the Shaw of Iran and
instituted the Ayah Tola keep it up.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Couldn't wait for you to get back. Happy New Year.
Thank you, and I'm so grateful to Jamie Almond. By
the way, from the Patriot in Saint Louis knows aiding
to the Almond brothers. No kin to the but I
hope everybody listening in Saint Louis appreciated my little wink
at the holiday season and my ability to bring Jamie
back to you. I could not think higher of Jamie
(26:11):
as a brother, as a friend, and as a talent.
He did a great job filling in. Yeah, I mean,
hands down, I think you know doing John F. Kennedy quotes.
I'll follow up Mike mccam. Jfk always said that if
you get domestic policy wrong, it'll cost you a lot
of money. Jimmy Carter got a lot of domestic policy wrong,
and it led to a lot of long gas lines,
(26:33):
the division in our country and his ability to unite
the nation, and of course, policies matter. That was a
lesson of twenty twenty four, right, the policies have consequences.
There were a lot of domestic failures for Jimmy Carter,
but nothing like the foreign policy blunder of meddling in
the Iranian elections, which led to the fall of the
Shaw and the rise of the Ayahtola and the formation
(26:57):
of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this day, the
most predictable threat to the world that is far and away,
and of course led to the hostage crisis that wasn't
ended until Ronald Reagan took the oath of office. So yeah,
I think it's very fair to say Jimmy Carter was
an ineffective, if not terrible president, but He was a
(27:21):
man of great faith. He was a good man, and
I think that's how he should be remembered as the
one hundred year old thirty ninth president passed away shortly
before the New year. All right. FBI says it believes
the suspect who drove through the crowd on Bourbon Street
in New Orleans was not acting alone. That led to
the canceling of the Sugar Bowl, which will kick off
today for Eastern three. Central security barriers that would have
(27:45):
protected crowds on Bourbon Street had apparently been removed before
Wednesday's attack. That will be looked at. Permanent barriers will
also probably be looked at. And what continues to be
looked at is was there a link between this and
the Tesla cyber truck explosion out side the Trump International
Hotel in Las Vegas. Both rented vehicles, both evs, from
tual Rental, which is kind of like the Airbnb. And oh,
(28:08):
by the way, not that anybody on the talkbacks bailed
me out. It's verbal. That's how they pronounced the other one.
Good morning, Michael.
Speaker 9 (28:17):
The pronunciation is verbo v rbo verbo. I just had
to slide that in, so we did get one. Yeahs
Atter of fact.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah, we're as as a radio family. We are official
sponsors of Verbo because we like their new nick sabe
and commercials. Check ins three o'clock, it's two fifty. I know,
I know, no swimming, no fun showers, five minutes a spot.
Can you imagine if if you could, who wouldn't pay
(28:49):

Anderson Cooper is their signature anchor. This would be like
(29:14):
imagine when we were younger, Walter Cronkite, the face of
news and CBS being a part of a New Year
celebration drunk on the air. Wouldn't that be discrediting? Well,
that's become a CNN tradition to watch. And who's the
other one with him? The other? Oh, I can't remember
(29:37):
his name now anyway, they both they both host the
CNN New Year's from New York. Here they are drunk,
getting ready to toast. Nine minutes after the ball dropped.

managed his limitations been reported in a Wall Street journal
for four years.

Don't you love the media that now wants to be
the hero to tell you what was unreported because they
were under reporting and all along.
Speaker 10 (31:54):
Listen, does the president have the stamina physically and mentally?
Speaker 4 (31:57):
Do you think to continue on even after twenty twenty four?
Speaker 3 (32:01):
You're asking me this question?
Speaker 11 (32:03):
Oh my gosh, he's the president of the United States,
you know.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
I can't even keep up with it.
Speaker 10 (32:09):
The most difficult part about a meeting with President Biden
is preparing for it. Because he is sharp, intensely probing,
and detail oriented and focused.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
I can testify because I've been working very closely with
this president for the past two years. I've been knowing
it for thirty years, and.

I'm telling you, this guy's tough, he's smart, he's on
his game.

Jill Biden has vision, he has knowledge, he has a
strategic thinker.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
The president is focused, he's detail oriented, he's always thinking
about the big picture.

Is engaging. He is capable. He has an incredible record
as president, and I'm often with him on foreign trips.
He's at the top of his game, on top of
his game, top of this game. We're all in this together.
