Now.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Enjoy the podcast on two three, starting your morning off right.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding
because we're in the stregis.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
This is your morning show with Michael o'deil charm us talking.
You mean to tell me I I watched the football. Yeah,
I remember all the sacks now that you mentioned it.
Welcome to a new day, Tuesday, January fourteenth, year of
Our Lord, twenty twenty five on the Aaron, streaming live
on your iHeartRadio app. This is your morning show. I
am Michael del Jorna. If I can set the table

(00:56):
for you. We have the La fires raging, as does
the rage of the citizens continue to rise towards their
inept leaders of all the sound yesterday about the publisher
of The New York Times coming out and saying, what
were we wrong in endorsing this? Mayor regrets I've had, well, Governor,

(01:21):
Mayor of you? Okay over there, you know one of
the things that you got to remind me to pass
this on to my son. Okay, DoD you have like
a list of things that you know, I gotta get
to this, and I don't know what the appropriate age is. Sure,
one of the biggest mistakes of my early life was

(01:42):
the inability to distinguish between the way I wished something
was and what it actually was. Don't need to start
really deep, but relationships are a lot like that, and
you look back and you go, what was I thinking
I would even date that person today? Well, because it

(02:03):
took you a while, but you figured out the difference
between who they actually were versus who you wish they were.
And until you give up on the what you wish
they were vision, you'll never see them for what they
actually are. And that's what's happening in California, and that's
what's going to have a profound effect moving forward. And

(02:23):
you guys are watching this dysfunctionally play out daily. A
lot of voters are waking up and they're seeing a
party and its leadership not as they've always wished they
would see it, but for what they really are inept

(02:47):
for some of the Misspell's words so much. I really
do love them, and I don't know if they're going
to arrive at the word inept, but that's what they're experiencing,
having or showing no skill clumsy. Let me paint the

(03:13):
picture for you. Multime multi million dollar homes are gone,
a lifetime of possessions are gone. You knew it was coming, right,
but did you see the picture that went viral yesterday
In a burnt down home in the midst of ashes

(03:37):
is an oscar And of course everybody wants to get
on social media and be profound. Shows you what things
on earth are worth, what accolades are worth. But their
homes are gone, their life's work and possessions are gone.
And in Washington they get a word seal from the

(04:00):
vice president and seven hundred and seventy bucks from the president, well,
at least the six thousand people who have applied for it,
you know, in case they need a red bull. What
they needed was water in the reservoirs right. What they
needed was a power company. But it doesn't stop at

(04:20):
the president. Then you go to the governor and the
weirdness of every appearance he made. Fires are raging and
citizens are becoming enraged. The Palisades Fire in Los Angeles,

(04:45):
which started on the seventh, By the way, can I
just make a personal comment which sounds very narcissistic. I
may sound worse today, but I'm telling you, for the
first time in about fifteen days, I feel normal. I
want to thank the two people that cared enough to
pray for me, neither of which work here, who are

(05:08):
talking to each other right now instead of me. Palisades
Fire which started on January seventh, twenty three thousand acres
over twenty seven hundred and thirteen fourteen percent containment. They
Eton Fire fourteen thousand, one hundred and seventeen acres thirty
three percent containment, the Hurst Fire, which is at ninety

(05:29):
seven percent containment, reached just under eight hundred acres, And
then we had the new one in Ventura, the Auto fire,
which has now reached up to fifty six acres in
zero containment and very high force. Wins coming again today.
So the fires Ray John the I'm sorry one more time.

(05:50):
I'm here. We have no Rory apologized. Oh you made
a mistake. Yes, you could admit it. On you can
admit it for everybody to hear. Yes, I made a mistake.
It couldn't have been me. Well, no, it wasn't you.
She didn't ring a mus green. That's okay, you don't
mean I just fly like an eagle. By the way,

(06:11):
I got this text message. I'm interrupting myself now. But again,
Jeremy Hayes is a dear, dear friend I've known for years,
a listener again who called one head lunch. The turnaround
in his life has been one of the great blessings
to watch. But anyway, the game's going on last night.

(06:32):
Did you catch any of the game last night? If
you were listening to the show yesterday? I kept saying,
the Rams are the Ravens of the NFC. This team
is likely headed to the Super Bowl. Nine sacks, six
of them in the first half, A scoop and score
an interception. That's a championship defense. It's still a really

(06:55):
good offense. I didn't believe you, I'll be honest. Did
anybody is any body noticing the Rams. You know, they
just won a Super Bowl a couple years ago and
they're better today. Yeah. So Jeremy text me in the mix.
I think at this point it was like, I don't
know what it was. Uh, I think it was like
twenty three to three or something like that, and he
texts at eight forty seven, how in the world did

(07:20):
you call the Rams? Question mark? Question mark? Yeah, they're
destroying the Vikings, to which I simply respond, I see all.
What part of noes Tradel Jarno don't you get yet? Now?
While you were busy doing the other mistake that we're
not going to bring up on the air, did you

(07:40):
find the other thing I asked for? Because I can't
seem to find mine. I've got it. I've got it
right here. That's why, probably why I miss Rory. Oh okay, good.
So anyway, you know, I'm like, I say these things
for all to hear. Now, you know, I mean, I
don't promote gambling and I don't gamble. Why because once
I start, I can't stop and you never win. But

(08:00):
if you were listening, you know, hopefully you know Bruno
Mars was listening in Vegas and had the Rams last night.
I give you these morsels, make Mike say, you don't gimble,
but you want us? Oh hey, hey, there we go again.
It's at Nostra del Giorno Again. I don't hear anything.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Well, maybe I got a second up back now, and
it's too late.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
It's like a sneeze. Once you lose it, get rid
of it, it may not come back.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Now.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I remember that day that we had to restart the
whole show all over again. We're getting dangerously close to
it right this second, I might add, so as I saying, oh,
what part about what I tell you? Don't you trust yet?
Now again, we're new to the nation. New Detroit one week,

(08:53):
Albuquerque one week, fifty one markets. I understand they don't
get it yet. But Jeremi's from bright He's from right,
He's from right here and there. Oh here he goes again,
all right over there.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Well it shall be. If he doesn't start performing at
a higher level, he shall be replaced. Oh great, And
on another note, it shall be, and I have said
it would be in the quarter year of the two thousands.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
The time shall be prided in Dallas. Hey, why are
you doing so well? I feel better too now Mom,
what's happening? Okay, I don't know. You screwed that up
so many times. I don't know what I said the heck, listen,
let me tell you something. I fail daily red. You

(09:57):
can see the pillow and the blanket on the couch
in the back ground right next to the Bourbon collection.
A lot of time on the couch over there. You
rarely screw up. So let me get this. What the
bockle you have made of this? I'm afraid to have
Nute Gingrich on the show later today for what could happen?
Don't but let me tell you this is what I
just got out of the Nostra dills run yes, yes,
Oh wait a minute, let get back to the pit.

(10:18):
So what did he say? He said that I may
soon be the coach of the Cowboys. No, I don't
think he said that in the quarter of the year
two thousand means twenty twenty five, right right, it shall
be prime time in Dallas? Oh, meaning who is the more?
What was you? Wasn't it? Off the air said something

(10:39):
the effective Wow, cowboys, they are really stupid, and now
they've missed an opportunity to interview all the coaches. But
that's different because they knew who their coach was. You go,
I'm losing consciousness again. Oh? Why must I wait so
damn long.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
For the song?

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I don't know because it won't refire there. I know
I was just here, but for crying out loud? Is
anyone listening? And I say it? It is so Oh
the quad train has spoken. Here he comes and gets shot?
Wake him up? Reds the love of Bete. I got

(11:18):
both hands working over here. I put my gun back in.
Here's the problem. You know what, start the intro again?
I think we should just start the whole show over
the way showing.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Your morning off right, No, I a new way of talk,
a new way of understanding, because we're in mistake.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
This is your morning show? Yeah, with Michael O'Dell Troman.
What's the commercial where they have like Case Keenan sitting
in the you know, the guy can't back his truck in,
so they call in the backup quarterback to do it. Oh,
I haven't seen those, but I don't want enough TV
to actually And then they have the guy that used
to be the Colts quarterback. He comes in and does
their Yeah, uh, taxes, I forgot what the commercial? That's

(12:01):
what we need for you to off today with wrong
with you. I just I'm telling you work in Thanksgiving
took a lot out of you, all right, So let
me finish setting the table before I was rudely interrupted
by what would have been a very clean, funny yes.
And by the way, when I said that, what was
the noster del journal that I gave the other day? Oh,

(12:23):
we proved it. Titans get the pick, but the Patriots
get the coach. Jennal week ago said Mike Brabel woill
be the next head coach of the Patriots. He is,
he has just spoken primetime, will be the next coach
of the Dallas Cowboys. Fires, rage on people, rage on
towards the ineptness of their leaders. That was part of
the table. We also prepare for a new presidency, and
we get more details Carrie Underwood. We'll be singing during

(12:48):
the swearing in ceremony the village people at balls later on,
garbage Truck is going to make the appearance, believe it
or not, out of everything we have prepared for you today,
which I think is uh with the exception of the open,
pretty informative and entertaining. How do you like my garbage truck?
Red is the most excited about. The garbage truck is

(13:08):
going to be in the inaugural parade. I'd park it
just off the side of the stage. Quite frankly, wouldn't
that be hill areas. I'd take the whole parade in it. Wait,
let some everyday citizens just sit on the garbage truck, right,
But yeah, all the plants have been unveiled. We have
hamas and the ceasefire. Three dozen hostages expected to be

(13:30):
released along with the ceasefire agreement. Let's see what is
what's going on that this would suddenly happen these hostages
since seventh Oh, Donald Trump's about to be president. That's
what's about to happen. A very reaganesque moment. We'll talk
later in the Morning Show with Lieutenant Colonel James Carafano

(13:50):
about that. John Decker on that issue as well. And
did I mention that the speaker, Newt Gingrich and his
wife Callista Gingrich, are the executive and the narrators of
a documentary that will air to night nine Central ten
Eastern on PBS. It's called Journey to America. We live
in such a narrative matrix. These nine individual stories are

(14:15):
necessary for the left and the right to hear and
be reminded. We have the sins of commission, this invasion,
open border, vulnerable sovereign nation. And then we have the
sins of omission, which is legal migration. Nine stories, the

(14:39):
painted picture of immigration at its best, a picture I
think America needs to see more than ever. Did I
mention that the speaker himself knwt Gingrich on the show?
Not a kid? I'm on no, he was just going
to say the speaker was here.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
It's your morning show with Michael del Choino.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
President Biden is announcing a one time payment. Well, this
will solve everything, right, seven hundred and seventy bucks in
FEMA assistance.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
People impacted by these fires, who are going to receive
one time payment of seven hundred and seventy dollars one
time payment so they can quickly purchase things like water,
baby form prescriptions.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Got cheer up, honey, let's go get a red bull.
Biden is joined at the desk of the Oval office
by the Vice President, who put together quite the word
salad that you will he'll hear later in our Sounds
of the Day, Southern California, Edison is being sued overclaims
its electrical equipment is responsible for starting one of the
wildfires in La Michael Kasner reports.

Speaker 8 (15:45):
At least twenty four people are dead after the fire
has broke out last Tuesday, and over one hundred and
fifty have been forced to evacuate. The lawsuit was filed
by a group of homeowners, business owners and renters, and
others that had their property destroyed by the Eton fire,
and the Pasadena region says the fire is the second
most destructive in the history of the state. Claims that
eye witnesses saw fire at the base of a transmission

(16:08):
tower that's owned by Edison in Los Angeles. I'm Michael Casner.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
This year's Oscar nominations are being delayed once again, but
the Grammys, the show must go on. It will not
be postponed in southern California to do the wildfires. It
will air scheduled.

Speaker 9 (16:23):
I'm Daniel Colsey and Tampa and my morning show is
your Morning Show with Michael del Jorno.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Hi. It's me Michael. Your Morning show can be heard
on great stations across the country like Talk Radio eleven
ninety in Dallas, Sport Worth, Freedom one oh four point
seven in Washington, d C. And five point fifty KFYI
and Phoenix, Arizona. We'd love to be a part of
your morning routine or take us along. I'm the drive
to work, But as we always say, better late than never.
Enjoy the podcast.

Speaker 8 (16:55):
BHI.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
I'm Michael del Jorno. President Biden is announcing a one
time payment of seven hundred and seventy dollars to each
resident impacted by the LA wildfires. Nevermind you lost a
multimillion dollar home, all your life possessions, including an oscar
and a Grammy, here's some red Bull money. Meanwhile, Southern
California Edison is being sued overclaims its electrical equipment is

(17:16):
responsible for the starting of the wildfires in the LA area.
AMAS reportedly released nearly will really rule that will reportedly
release three dozen hostages as part of the ceasefire deal
and send a confirmation start today, Hegseth. A couple have
been delayed, but Hegseth will be today. That's just some
of the stories we're waking up to this morning. And

(17:36):
can't have your morning show without your voice, So always
look for that little microphone if you're listening on the
iHeartRadio app, that's a talkback button. Because these days you
don't have to wait on hold for the talk show
hosts to take your call. You make your comment, ask
your question immediately, and you're a part of the show,
just like Big John at the your morning show sportsbook.
Speaking of the Dallas Cowboys, here's your odds on deonce

(17:58):
and is becoming the next Cowboy coach. Yes plus one
seventy no, minus one point thirty. The great nose to
del Journo has spoken. It shall be Rogers. So waking
up very early in Sacramento.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Hey, being here on West Coast and waking up at
about three fifteen, turning on the show, and then having
you played the opening again three that I was in
the twilight and now I'll have a great show. Look
forward to the new Gingridge interview dolculator, Roger.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
You know what you gotta like Roger, He gets the
formattics forward momentum. There with that plug. Yes, third hour,
seven thirty four Central, eight thirty four Eastern speaker Nude
Gingridge will be joining us on his PBS documentary Journey
to America, which airs tonight. We need a wise woman
to put something into perspective. Suffer not Ferris in the
Nashville area. So which of the most vile, heinous, malignant

(18:56):
vermin are we going to release in order to get
those hostages out of there? So Joe Biden can take
the credit. One of my favorite radio stories ever is
and one of my favorite hosts. There are some things
you know technically when you work for another company and
you do something contractually, it belongs to them. I did

(19:18):
an interview with Jerry Springer that was one of my
favorite interviews in my career, right up there with Richard Nixon,
and I did an interview with doctor Laura's Lessinger. I
had her pop on because my news guy and I
were fighting, and so I brought her on to do
some relationship counseling, and then you know, she teared the
whole thing on me ricissism, But I loved Doctor Laura

(19:42):
was a caller to KFI. That's how she got her
and became one of the national phenoms in talk radio
for about a decade and a half, two decades. That's
going to be fairis someday all joking aside, I would
find this woman and let her fill in for me
while I'm gone. Joe Biden already released eleven dangerous people

(20:03):
from Get MO. I doubt that's enough. Look, they may
try to spin this and end this. I've seen Jimmy
Carter in past interviews try to spin it and felt like,
you know, he solved the hostage situation. But I think
you know, everybody knows Ronald Reagan was taking an oath
and would be commander in chief as soon as he

(20:24):
got back to the Oval office and all hell would
break lose Donald Trump has promised that, and now there's
suddenly movement. They're not going to be able to spin this,
and they're a They're in a crisis of identity right now.
On the left, Red's favorite story is the garbage truck,
famous in the campaign is going to be a part
of the inaugural parade. I think the best story of

(20:51):
the day involves this. Is this. It needs to be
understood in perspective. For the longest time, people would say, well,
who reads newspapers anymore? And I felt like always saying
you do. You don't realize it, but that's who's behind
all the stories that you're reading online and sharing on

(21:16):
your social media. And that was true for a time,
and they would even charge you a premium to have
access to it. The journalism eventually did flatline and die.
It's now in decomposition phase. My favorite story the Washington Post.

(21:41):
And you have to David Zanati and I when we
ever distinguish when we're talking about death of journalism and
the legacy mainstream media at the epicenter of the epicenter,
and believe me, at the epicenter is the intelligentsia, universities,
the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the Atlantic, and then

(22:09):
you know the con Comcast and Disney entities. But I mean,
we're talking about a mount rushmore of left narrative and doctrination,
socialization and control.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
You know.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
You've read put a little smart alec line. The Washington
Post is where democracy dies in darkness, is where readership
dies in darkness. The Washington Post web traffic has taken
a nose dive since twenty twenty one. Remember when we
said the most significant thing that happened in twenty sixteen

(22:43):
was not Donald Trump's upset wasn't an upset in my mind,
but for many they didn't see it coming an upset
victory over Hillary Clinton. No, it was the death of journalism.
And then you had the great shadow campaign to save
the democracy when at that point they used fear and
COVID and weaponized to change election laws and in your
fear got one last balance of control out of narrative,

(23:07):
and they still controlled social media enough to silence any
opposition thought, whether it was on COVID, Biden or anything else.
And they brag in Time magazine February fifteenth, Shadow Campaign
to say the democracy, how they stole the election. Some
of these people even went on to be chiefs of staff.
It's all there for you to read today if you
want to. But that all changed four years later. They're dead,

(23:37):
they're decomposing, and they know it because they had no narrative.
They had no ability to silence opposition thought because Selon
Musk bought X. But let's look at since twenty twenty one,
the Washington Post web traffic, with its digital readership, declined

(23:57):
by nearly ninety percent. Now I'm I'm not delighting in
someone else's misfortune. There are issues for radio, of which
I'm a part of talk radio, for which I'm on
right now. There has been a great digital shift, but

(24:21):
the shift away from the Washington Post is by far
the most profound of the moment. This is why you
see Jeff Bezos suddenly being reasonable, suddenly cooperating with Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is the It was Gandhi right that they

(24:42):
give that classic quote to. First they mock you. I'm
pretty sure it was Gandhi. Wasn't the First they mock you,
then they fight you, then you're defeated. Wasn't that Gandhi?

Speaker 6 (25:07):
What not?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Quicker red? But you're you know, the more you hang
out with Jeffrey, the more you're getting like him. What's
the exact quote? Pop it in my ear or say
it over the microphone. First they ignore you, then they
laugh at you, then they fight and okay, so that
a perfect Donald Trump. Right. First they ignored him, then
they laughed at him. This guy's not gonna be president.

(25:28):
Don't you love watching those montages? Then they wage war?

Speaker 6 (25:31):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (25:32):
And then they're defeated something to that effect, and then
they laugh at you. Then they fight you, then you win,
then you win. Yeah, the classic quote. That's why Jeff
Bezos is caving. That's why Hamas is caving. All that
is full circle to get to Faris's point. But I mean,

(25:53):
think about that, Jeff Bezos at twenty two and a
half million daily Acts users in twenty twenty one, twenty two.
Imagine if my audience size was twenty two and a half
million and out today it's two million. I think I
recognize something's wrong. Merry Christmas. Well after that first segment,

(26:14):
that could be our new numbers, now that I mention
to think of it. Publisher revealing in May that it had
lost seventy seven million dollars last year. On Tuesday, the
Post began laying off approximately four percent of its workforce. Again,
I don't delight in the misfortune of anybody. There's a
powerful voice, not just a voice in terms of reach

(26:35):
because the reach is gone, not just a powerful voice
in terms of influence because the influence is gone. But
this was one of the mount Rushmores of the left,
the Atlantic, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and
the Associated press. That's the mount rushmore of the left,

(26:56):
carrying out the administrative state, noblest world agenda, and the
utopia of the left dead. Decomposing gases and liquids are
forming at the bottom of the cask. And I'm talking decomposition, which,

(27:17):
by the way, coming up in our Sounds of the day,
we have the publisher of the New York Times doctor
Patrick soun Chung says it was a mistake for his
paper to endorse Karen Bass. Oh, there's an awakening. We
talked early before Jeffrey sabotaged the first half hour of

(27:38):
the show that we have to you can't see things
for what they really are until you're willing to stop
trying to see them for what you wish they were. Well,
that seems to have happened for the La Times. We'll
feature that in our Sounds of the Day. You know,
I'm just joking right Well, yeah, I'm one of my
heroes that I looked up to was Johnny Carson. And

(28:00):
I can tell you as somebody that was I went
to bed every night watching Johnny Carson. The bombs were
way more funny than the planned bids.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (28:08):
Absolutely, This is your morning show with Michael Deltrono, just
waking up.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Here are your top stories of the day. Southern California,
Edison is being sued overclaims its electrical equipment may be
responsible for starting the Great Wildfires of Los Angeles. Michael
Casner reports at.

Speaker 8 (28:32):
Least twenty four people are dead after the fires broke
out last Tuesday, and over one hundred and fifty have
been forced to evacuate. A lawsuit was filed by a
group of homeowners, business owners, and renters, and others that
had their property destroyed by the Eton fire in the
Pasadena region. Says the fire is the second most destructive
in the history of the state. Claims that eyewitnesses saw

(28:52):
fire at the base of a transmission tower that's owned
by Edison in Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
I'm Michael Cassner. Governor Gavin Newsom is proposing a State
of California provision to allow another two and a half
billion dollars in funding for response and recovery found the
deadly fires. Daniel Martindale has the details.

Speaker 10 (29:11):
On Monday, knwsome signed a proclamation that expands the scope
of the state legislature's current special session. The governor is
requesting a billion dollars more go toward emergency response, clean
up and recovery, and he wants another one point five
billion dollars in funding to prepare for the threats of
firestorms and other natural disasters in the future. I'm Daniel Martindale.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
While the Special Council investigated Hunter Biden is criticizing President Biden.

Speaker 9 (29:34):
Ark Mayfield has more in a final report released on Monday.
David Weiss said the president cannot rewrite history after he
spoke out against the case against his son when he
pardoned him last month. Biden called Hunter's prosecution a miscarriage
of justice. Why, said any politician that attacks the decisions
made by prosecutors and calls them politically motivated is undermining

(29:55):
the public's confidence in the justice system. Biden was charged
with attacks and gun before he was pardoned. I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
The Setate will start confirmation hearings today for one of
President elect Trump's cabinet pics. Lawmakers will look at Pete
hegseeth for Defense Secretary. Former North Dakota Governor Doug Bergham
was set to face questions to lead the Department of
the Interior, but his hearing has been delayed two days
over missing paperwork, and the Senate also is supposed to

(30:23):
hear the veterans affairs former governor or Georgia Congressman Doug
Collins as well. That has now been postponed until January
twenty first because the FBI has not completed his background check.
As President, Biden looks back at his presidency and his
work in foreign policy, He says in Israeli hamas Ces
fire deal is finally on the horizon.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Biden said he's working with Israeli Prime Minister net Yahoo,
Egyptian President LCCI, and the Emir of Cutter to seal
the agreement.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
Said many times for at an inflection point, post Cold
War period is over.
