Speaker 1 (00:00):
Previously on your Morning show with Michael del Choano.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Today is all about sweet Caroline Good. Well, here's how
if he did a quick comparison because I had this thought.
First of all, Caroline Levitt is twenty seven years old, yes,

(00:27):
the thirty sixth White House Press Secretary. And I've seen
a lot of them on their very first day, nervous.
Some perform you know, adequate, and get better and better
and better. And Jean Crimpierre, you know, also got better.

(00:50):
Did she? It was a tough sell, but I mean
she did get better at being comfortable in front of
the camera. So as I was watching Caroline yesterday, I
was struck by, Okay, if this is the starting point,
how good is she going to get? You're not opening
up a folder, although you could see her look down

(01:11):
every now and then in reference a note. But so
I was impressed at you know, this is the beginning,
how good is she going to get? And then I
came across this clip which actually had Jon Crimpierre's first
day and first comments, and I thought, what a contrast.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Listen, I am obviously acutely aware that my presence at
this podium represents a few First I am a black
gay immigrant woman, the first of all three of those
too hold this position.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Okay, that was a time in America. This is actually
a much different time in America.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Listen, thirty five hundred arrests ices made so far since
President Trump came back into office. Can you just tell
us the numbers how many have a criminal record versus
those who are just in the country illegally, all.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
Of them because they illegally broke our nation's laws and
therefore they are criminals as far as this administration goes.
I know the last administration didn't see it that way.
So it's a big culture shift in our nation to
use someone who breaks our immigration laws as a criminal.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
But that's exactly what they are.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Here, Caroline bag We'll have more obviously in our sounds
of the day, but yeah, you know, this whole there's
a new sheriff in town kind of feeling is definitely real.
Speaking of Carolines, today's day, RFK Junior faces confirmation hearings

(02:35):
and his cousin, Caroline Kennedy decided to speak out. I
play this also to bookend the two Caroline concept. This
is the kind of hard work we put into, not
just preparing a show for you, but framing the show,
as we execute the show, we combine two Carolines, one

(02:56):
who is extraordinarily different, like her president is extraordinarily different
from her predecessor. And then now we follow that up
with another Caroline, different spelling. By the way, I like
to just go on record as saying that different outcomes.
We did the research. No, you know what this one
screams to me, And it's a lost virtue. I think

(03:19):
everything negative in life doesn't have to be said. Let
that sink in for a second. You walk by somebody overweight,
it's not necessary to tap them on the shoulder and
tell them they're fat. You walk by somebody dressed particularly poorly,

(03:44):
or using the wrong verb or ad verb, it's not
necessary to correct. Everything in life doesn't require your opinion.
What am I talking about? The very simp concept of
I don't even know if this is taught anymore by parents.
I don't know if this is taught anymore by teachers.

(04:07):
But the concept of if you have nothing good to say,
just remain silent. Saying it isn't going to change it anyway.
I don't know what you think you're accomplishing. So I
have always lived by that it always felt right to me.

(04:27):
It tends to build over a lifetime as you perfect it,
and people will notice your silence, and you know what,
that's all that really needs to be said. Listen, if
I am not talking about you, if I am not
thinking about you, that's if I'm your subject. That's the

(04:48):
worst position to be in. But I'm kind of that way.
When I'm quiet. I don't think much of you. If
I'm joking, if I'm poking, fue, I really like you,
and I really think you're significant. So I was just
you know, and looking at this clip first and foremost,

(05:11):
I'm thinking, if you had nothing nice to say, why
would you come right out and say? Why would you
hold a news conference to say it. It's even worse
when it comes to Caroline Kennedy. It seems like the
only time we ever hear her is when she's being
a political pawn, and it's usually directed against her family,
who didn't change with the party, a party that I

(05:33):
would remind her is unrecognizable from her father. I know.
I've made a study of both, one in history and
one in reality. Then there's the second part of it,
which is you're talking about your first cousin you're talking
about your father's brother's son. I guess I would throw

(05:57):
out tertiarily killed, and we might be about to find
out by their government, by their confident government. Wait, how
many things are going to go through your head while
you're staring at this. I like to think of these things,

(06:20):
like when I see a really bad idea with a company,
and I'm like, you know, this all started in a
conference room. Somebody probably raised their hand and came up
with this dumb idea, and in a room full of people,
nobody recognized it was dumb. And then it began to
take shape, and then it went into planning, and then

(06:41):
it went into execution. You're like, what kind of morons.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
In that vein?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Hey, Caroline, your first cousin is about to go up
for nominations. Now there are senators that will ask him
all the tough questions. Let me interrupt myself. There are
senators who will attack him on everything you're about to say.
It really doesn't need to have a first blood cousin
betray him in an unasked for news conference with a

(07:13):
written statement, read with your reading glasses verbatim. The first one,
Sweet Caroline, this one, thank you, this one, this would

(07:34):
be cheap shot, Caroline Caroline Levett Winner of the Day,
Caroline Kennedy, I'll let you be the judge.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
But now the Bobby has been nominated by President Trump
to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, a position
that would put him in charge of the health of
the American people. I feel an obligation to speak out.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
You feel an obligation to speak out. What are the
credentials of Caroline Kennedy on anything pertaining to health in
human services? What has been the body of her life

(08:24):
work that keep in mind as she reels all this up,
this is nothing that isn't going to come up and
attack in a Senate hearing. So it's really again, you
got nothing nice to say? Why won't you say anything
at all? Why? Now? Why against your first cousin? Why

(08:44):
did it defend a party in big government that may
be responsible for your own father's I mean, all this
is going through my head, the contrasting carolines well, having
nothing good to say but being totally partisan over blowd
She continues.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
Overseeing the FDA, the NIH, the CDC, and centers for
Medicare and Medicaid services, agencies that are charged with protecting
the most vulnerable among us is an enormous responsibility, and
one that Bobby is unqualified to fill. He lacks any
relevant government, financial management, or medical experience. His views on

(09:26):
vaccines are dangerous and willfully misinformed. These facts alone should
be disqualifying, but he has personal qualities related to this.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
So never mind his qualifications. Never mind his differing views
from her. Oh no, let's get really filthy and personal.
I don't know if in the courtroom of public opinion
I made a great case against her so far, But
who would defend this.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Listen his job, which for me pose even greater concern.
I've known Bobby my whole life. We grew up together.
It's no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets,
because Bobby himself.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Is a predator.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Contrasting carolines, one couldn't have impressed me more, the other
couldn't have impressed me less.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Miss a little, miss a lot, miss a lot, and
we'll miss you. It's Your Morning Show with Michael del Churno.
