During a meeting at the Pentagon with Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin netnya who Hegseth said the Defense Department under President
Trump is laser focused on reviving the warrior ethos and
rebuilding America's military. When questioned by reporters, Hegseth was noncommittal

(00:49):
I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Well, Donald Trump certainly is the master of his own book,
The Art of the Deal. He's been doing it every
day in the news, and yesterday California Governor Gavin Newsom
spent time with him alone. I wonder how that went.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
He met with Trump administration officials about aid for victims
of the Los Angeles wildfires. He also met with members
of Congress, including California Democrat Pete Aguilar, who says that
disaster aid should not be politicized.

Speaker 4 (01:16):

the American public who are going through disasters, no matter

homes and buildings were destroyed. I'm Tammy Trheo.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
We've kind of been asking the question, what's the Democrat's message,
What's it going to be their response to Donald Trump
and the pace and the achievements, and who will that
messenger be? Well, the message seems to be targeted at
Elon Musk. Democrats want to bring Musk before Congress as
part of a bid to deep dive, try to stave

(02:05):
off him from deep diving into cuts of federal agencies,
at least of Taylor's here with more.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Let's talk about waste fraud and abuse.

Speaker 7 (02:12):
The biggest fraud in US government right now is Elon Musk.

Speaker 8 (02:15):
Texas Congressman Greg Kazzar was part of a group of
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee who wanted to subpoena
Musk to testify. That was shot down by Republicans in
a party line vote. They say Musk is working with
President Trump on the so called Make America First agenda.
I'm li Se Taylor.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Well, I'm a guy who feels best at night, living
a new life. Trying to feel best in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
The study, published in the journal BMJ Mental Health, found
the people generally reported better mental health and well being
earlier in the day. They also said they felt happier
and more satisfied with life. Researchers said that while there's
a correlation, they can't be certain time of day affects
mental health. I'm Michael Cassner.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
We're in the metal and your skin knows it pre
tennis with what you should be reaching for.

Speaker 7 (03:04):
The American Medical Association says your skin sheds about thirty
thousand dead skin cells every minute, flakes of dead skin
dropping off you at your home, in your car, and
your place of business. And while this is a natural
occurrence in winter, it's exacerbated because of the heaters, dry air,
and lack of hydration. Experts say you can improve your
outlook by adding a humidifier and increasing healthy fat in

(03:27):
your diet, the kind from avocados and nuts, not cake
and cookies. I'm pre tennis.
