(01:17):
We'll good morning today. You know, well, every day's really
journeys of discovery, and it's about being curious, it's about
being informed, it's about ultimately connecting dots and understanding. Today
might seem like that's not as easy. You know, sometimes
(01:41):
you're just dealing with foolishness. You can't really make sense
of foolishness. You can speculate how somebody became such a fool.
You can speculate, is this this is so foolish? I
smell a rat that that something must be up this.
This has got to be attack or a strategy, because
it doesn't make it sense in and of itself. Let's
(02:03):
start with what doesn't make sense. People talk about socialism
like it's something new. It's not. It's been around a
long time and it's always failed. And nobody summed it
up better than Margaret Thatcher. See, the problem is this
is not just a famous quote. This is a reality.
(02:25):
Margaret Thatcher said, the problem with socialism is you eventually
run out of other people's money. See, governments don't have
any money. They only take money from its citizens, who
give them the power and the resources to do the
(02:48):
limited amount or the necessary things that government can do
that states can't necessarily do for itself, like defend an
entire nation structure those collectively who fal through the cracks.
All of that. I'm gonna start with a piece of
(03:09):
sound today, because it's as if everybody just woke up
from a long nap and thinks a smile justifies foolishness,
or that a same old, proven failure is somehow a
hope moving forward. AOC has a breakfast in DC. Why,
(03:38):
I can't tell you in the realm of foolishness, why
would you take a negative, dangerous character from a city race.
And by the way, we have to keep in mind
because they use drank file. This guy didn't get a
lot of votes. He just got enough to get through
(04:01):
the primary and set up a problematic multiple candidate race
that he could squeak out. But we're not talking about
a huge success. So this is not like we had
some guy appear like Barack Obama out of nowhere from
Illinois with huge success. Nor does he have that kind
(04:21):
of eloquence. Barack Obama never shied away from an interview
and never shied away from a tough question. Didn't know
he's answer it. But the guy had some good tap shoes.
This guy, they have to cut the questioning short. Mamdannie
is a story in and of himself, and New York
(04:42):
is a theater in and of itself. Why the Democrat Party,
who does not have a leader, does not have a
clear voice, does not have a clear message, is dying
presently on an open border's insurrection against law and order.
Hill wants to double down now on radical Really it
(05:03):
sounds like hair splitting. But the things he's proposing in
New York City a he can't do. But even if
he did, it's more communistic than socialistic. So here's this
big void in a two party system, one of the parties,
and it's being filled now by a socialist communist and
(05:27):
it's not playing well. But what does AOC do. She
brings him to DC and has a breakfast with members
of Congress. You can view that as she's either courting him.
But then they and I say they AOC representative Parmer
Lad Jay Paul, They go over the top and say
(05:47):
this guy's uniting our party. This guy is a natural leader.
This is the great success of our party. I mean,
it's what I'm saying. There's just there are so many
layers of foolishness that you almost just want to say, Okay,
that's a train wreck, let's go. But no you can't,
(06:08):
because this train wreck is going to come to your yard.
They're taking a local nightmare and trying to make it national.
Now here's where I want to start the foolishness. This
is We're gonna play a lot of sound today, but
there's no sound that begins, middles and ends the story
(06:30):
like this one. Listen.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
He talked about, you know, freezing rent, faster buses in
New York City at universal childcare, which seems to be
the message that really resonated with New York City voters.
That essentially he didn't talk about that.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
How do you pay for that? Essentially? Oh, he didn't
talk about that. Margaret Thatcher, the problem with socialism is
eventually you run out of everyone else's money. It's even
worse at a municipal or state level. See New York
(07:12):
Sea Illinois, Sea California, See Los Angeles Sea Chicago CDC
see New York City. They leave. You don't just run
out of their money, They leave and take their money
with them. This lawmaker is just so excited. I mean,
(07:37):
he's a smile. He was just so articulate, and the
ideas he expressed were so refreshing, refreshing like new And
then one reporter did he did he mention how they're
going to pay for this? I mean, you can't just
give away food, you can't give away transportation, you can't
(07:58):
seize property and just rent lowered. How's he gonna pay
for all this? In other words, whose money is he
gonna use? And by the way, not only have we
run out of my people's money, they've left. Oh he
didn't talk about that. Oh girl, baby girl. All right,
(08:26):
So you ask yourself, what is the Democrat Party doing?
Why is this four way race for mayor that this
guy's not running away with and they use trickery to
get him this far in a deep blue city in
deep trouble. Why are they trying to take this not
(08:49):
arguably obviously negative situation, the dangerous situation for the party
and make it a national referendum. I mean, that's the
level of foulll bishness. You'll be scratching more than just
your head today. Let me try that. Maybe it'll work. No,
still can't make sense of it. They don't even realize
(09:14):
the two party system is dying and they're trying to
make it a one party them system. Now you'll have
some Democrats, and we have a former Clinton polster who
will be their main spokesperson today saying our tent can't
be this big. We can't believe in socialism. We doesn't
(09:36):
realize is foolishly close to half of his party does.
And the younger they are, the more they do, and
the earlier they show up to vote. You can't stop
the parasite. It's gonna win, or the host is gonna win.
(09:59):
If it wins, the ho dies and it dies with it.
If the host wins, they're damaged for it, and for
a long time. That's the extent to which I can
give understanding to such crazy, ridiculous foolishness. But the sounds
will be dominated throughout the day as they take a
(10:22):
local nightmare and try to fill they're void for leadership,
agenda and ideas. That wasn't a trillion dollars at least
it was nine billion dollars pass through the Senate. I
mean there's one side doing some serious business with some
(10:44):
distraction tariffs Epstein. Oh we got more on that too.
Justice Department got around to firing Maureen Comy. Yes, that's
the daughter of James Comy. So just as the left
wants to talk at Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein,
because that's uncomfortable, the right wants to talk about I'm
(11:05):
Donnie Man, Donnie, ma Donnie, I'm Donnie. Because that's uncomfortable.
I promise you from the left you'll hear they fired
this poor woman just because she's the daughter of James.
Come well, she was the prosecutor in the Epstein and
Diddy cases. I think that's I mean, if that can't
get you fired, first it was shoes. Now they may
(11:31):
increase the amount of liquids we can bring on the
planes through TSA rulings or so. Christin Noam alludes to
we think numb Chuck's knives and uh maybe even box
cutters could be coming soon and throwing stars. Uh think
about everything I just said for fifteen minutes. Is it
shocking to you The Democrats are way behind their generic
(11:51):
congressional polling numbers from two thousand and six and twenty eighteen.
There's a blue wave coming, it doesn't look like it.
A new polls out on American attitudes on President Trump, Congress,
Jeffrey Epstein, and the big beautiful Bill Royal'll have that story.
David Snaught. He's going to be joining us from a
remote location to introduce you to Mamy Ui Sie Mensa
(12:16):
frimpog And by the way, I did pronounce that right.
This single judge is everything you did to know about
the socialist Democrats intent, strategy and endgame. Our journey of
discovery with David Zinati coming up, What is the future
of the Epstein files? Will the investigation be reopened? John
deck Or our White House correspondent who had the question
of the day that made news yesterday when he asked
(12:39):
the President about the FED chair. We'll talk about both
with him. David Bonnson, our money whiz and economist. Inflation
kind of ticked up. Is it uncertainty on tariffs? The
clear reason? And we'll ask him if this uncertainty remains
and the President refuses to pivot from this, how much
of this uncertainty and market turbulence can we withstand We
(13:01):
got a lot of contributors, a lot of correspondence, a
lot of news, and a lot to understand it. Only
one day to do it. This is your Morning Show
with Michael del Chrono. Good morning, and welcome to your
day and your morning show. I'm Michael del Jorno and
this is Carla from Port I believe, Port Charlotte, Florida.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
My thoughts are that AOC is grooming Mandaui to be
her potential vice presidential pick for twenty twenty eight. It's
never too soon to start.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Have a great day. I understand you seeing that, I
understand it. Looking like that. What a dumb move for AOC.
Bernie's passed the torch to her. She'll be the early
I know it sounds crazy, but she'll be the early
leader in twenty twenty eight, just like Bernie was in
twenty twenty and in twenty sixteen. And this little prom
(13:54):
crush is blowing it for her running mate, her checkmate. Hey,
that's clever. That's why I'm a talk show for running made.
I say it's a checkmate. Don't taksha, what do you think?
Use the talk pack button? All right? People convicted of
fentanyl related crimes can now face much harsher penalties. Mark
(14:14):
Mayfield explains, I.
Speaker 6 (14:15):
Think that'sient for President Trump signed to bill Wednesday targeting
fentanyl trafficking and.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Illicit drugs decimated American communities and left us with the
largest law enforcement challenge in our country's history.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
Family is impacted by the fentinyl crisis. Stood behind Trump
at the White House bill signing ceremony. Trump said his
administration has declared an all out war against dealers and traffickers.
The Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act classifies all
fentanyl related substances as Schedule one drugs. That means harsher
penalties for people convicted of fentanyl related crimes.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
A Mark Mayfield speculation on the future of Federal Chair
Jerome Powell had Wall Street experiencing a bit of whiplash yesterday.
Brian Shook reports.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Initial reports that Trump's firing of Powell seemed imminent came
out during warning trading, sparking a mini selloff, But when
Trump clarified that he had no plans to fire Powell,
the markets quickly rebounded, proving the old axiom that investors
like certainty. The president has been highly critical of Powell's
refusal to cut interest rates. I'm Brian Schook.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Well, mister Kami went to Washington. Not sure if that's
a movie they're working on, but Zoran Mamdani was in
Washington yesterday courting support for other Democrats, with mixed results.
Speaker 7 (15:28):
Queens and Bronx Congresswoman Alexandria Acasio Cortes hosted a breakfast
meet and greet with Mom Donnie in Washington. Attendees included
locals who have already endorsed Mom Donnie, including Jerry Nadler
and Nidia of Alasquez, and others from across the party.
Concerns about the Democratic Socialist were eased by AOC. California
(15:49):
Congressman Mark Takano told The Hill that AOC told them
that to voters under forty, the word socialism now means
battling corruption and fighting for workers. Andrew Whitman, NBC News Radio,
New York.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
We're dead set on getting to Mars, but Mars got
to our desert and a piece of Mars, a Martian
rock that was the biggest chunk of Mars ever found
it sold at auction for five point three million dollars.
And then what do you do with it.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Tell you this is Mike the Baptist in Cotton Down, Tennessee,
and my morning show is your Morning Show with Michael
Bill Jorno.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Hi, it's Michael. Your Morning show can be heard live
on great radio stations across the country like wilm and
w DOV and Wilmington and Dover, Delaware or wgst AM
seven twenty the Voice in Middle Georgia. We're going to
need some blankets. News Radio six fifty k e NI, Anchorage, Alaska.
We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
Now enjoy the podcast. We had a long conversation on
(16:56):
David Hasselhof. Should we share it with the rest of
the class. Sure, it is shocking when we see some
of these names, and you know, because you know everybody
else is getting old, but we're not right. Nobody ever
senses well I do. Confession time. I got a new
putter and then I got the wild hair what to
use it? So I went and played nine holes of
(17:18):
golf yesterday with three herniated disks. Really does so you
can't do that with your No, it was really stupid.
And I'm dying over here right now, and I have
only myself to blame it. Don't think I don't know it.
And now I have you two to remind me than you.
But no, you never really think of yourself, you know,
like we see ourselves in the mirror every day, so
it's gradual. That's just me and no, I don't particularly
(17:41):
like the way it looks, but that's me. Then you
see an old friend from high school, and what do
you do, Honey, I don't know this bad do I? Oh? No,
like she has any idea, and she's been seeing me
every day too, so it's been gradual for her. But
then you look down you see him like David hassel
Off is seventy three. First of all, I always use that,
does everybody have a standard for what old is in
(18:03):
their mind? For me, it's my my father's father, my grandfather,
and he had the male pattern baldness, and he just
looked old. He dressed old, he looked old, he talked old.
Everything was I says, So, I says, I says, I says,
you know, and I'm almost the age he was when
I was looking at him as an old man. And
(18:23):
you're starting to do that, but I don't look like that.
Don't know, you're getting into my speech patterns. I'm already
sensitive after Rogers by Roger.
Speaker 8 (18:31):
Oh, here's Roger warning guys. Hey, just a quick observation.
Remind me of some of the things I learned during
my recent study of the show.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
I noticed Michael pauses quite a bit.
Speaker 8 (18:42):
I don't know if he's gathering his thoughts for letting
me gather mind, it's that's how it works. When he pauses,
my brain keeps ticking, and it's a really a good thing.
I don't know if it's on purpose or not, but
that is one of my observations. And it's so long.
Sometimes I think my app is gliss so too.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Anyway, Goday, that's the moments where I am searching for
a word or thought. No, it is intentional. It's always
been intentional, because if I don't do that, then I'm
talking to myself. If I don't do that, then I'm
talking at you, and that's not a conversation. Now. I can't,
(19:20):
other than the talkbacks, really talk to you, and I
can't talk to what I think now is hundreds of
thousands of people individually. So what I do is just
I kind of pick one in my mind and I
just talk to them. Sometimes for effect. The pause is
(19:42):
because I can do it one of two ways. I
can leave a pause and let you just soak it in.
Or I can say something dramatic, like let me say
that again and really hear it. But that would get
old if I did that over and over again. But
I will say the older I get, the longer the
pause is do seemingly become. What you people don't know
(20:03):
is that sometimes they're doing something to you guys.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Silent alarms and they go off because Mike's pauses.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Oh, I've never that long, know you and Roger they
always got to find something negative. I go right here,
so I do the opening monologue. I've even gotten a
hassle off being seventy three. I do the opening monologue.
I mean, I think I had some really profound stuff
you did, and we had the break and then Jeffrey's like, well,
you never brought up Steve Miller, you never brought up
the President's trying to put sugarcane back in coke. I
want the cocaine back in coke, but I can't please you.
(20:37):
And by the way, Jimmy Johnson was the head coach
in Miami too. If you want to go back Oh
my gosh. All right, so I'd explained that to him
off the air. Okay, well, I'm not in Miami. I'd
like to be on in Miami, but I'm not in
Miami yet. I am in Oklahoma City, where I once lived.
I am in Tulsa, where I once lived and ruled.
(20:58):
And so for me, no long pause necessary. That's just
the more effective, relatable for my audience thing to do.
Two former Oklahoma State University Cowboys shared a birthday. One
cowboy went on to be the NFL two time Super
Bowl champion. Cowboy coach Jimmy Johnson, and this goofball because
(21:22):
you don't mention Miami, like.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
You know, I don't know the convicts game in Miami.
He did great things there. But we're not on in Miami.
Why give the Miami.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Didn't we give Miami enough love yesterday over the President's granddaughter, No,
because we didn't. She gives Yes, the President of the
United States granddaughter already set for life financially, is more
successful than all of us. Yes, that is a reality.
All right. What about the Hasselhof, Well, just that you
(21:52):
guys were freaking out that he was seventy three, which
then I said, I think Red said something about it
being you know, he's like like Jerry Lewis was in France,
he is in Germany just a runaway star. Here at home,
he's the guy who's eating Hamburger's drunk, abusing his daughter.
But I I made the comment I never saw an
episode of night Rider or Baywatch in my life. And
(22:18):
then you said Baywatch wasn't even on where you grew up,
which I think it was. I just don't think you
watched it. Well.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
I looked it up and it was one season on NBC.
Then it was canceled, so I never saw it, and
I was working nights at the time, so of course
I never saw it.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
And then it was in syndication. Then it went in syndication. Yeah,
I thought it was Originally that was NBC see and
then it was it was now I have to do
a long pause in his first season on NBC, but
we thought it was Fox. I thought it was Fox
because I remember the very first show on Fox was
Married with Children, Simpson's and Tracy Tracy Allman Show. And
(22:53):
then I thought Baywatch was like the next wave of
hit shows.
Speaker 9 (23:01):
The hoff was in Dodgeball, Off was in everything, was
he in the Dodgeball movie.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah, he was the German coach. Oh, that's right, he was.
He's seventy three years old. Does that make you feel old?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Another your morning show fun fact, the hot Hasselhoff is
huge in Germany. He is a He is like Mick
Jagger over in Germany. We said that already.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
And by the way, Steve Miller ban canceled his tour,
and the reason he gave was it's bad for the environment.
He obviously believes in global warming, and he obviously believes
that when he has a concert and everyone gathers, it's bad.
It's bad for the climate and his crew as quickly
(23:47):
others have observed. Obviously the ticket sales weren't going well.
And yes, the president doesn't want to add sugarcane, which
I've done that before. First of all, my first inclination,
how did this end up being an open eighty D segment?
I was gonna do something really, really important. That's just
what we did, all right. So have you ever been
(24:08):
to a restaurant that offers the Mexican coke? I can
think of one that I go to and it comes
in the bottle, even says in the menu. Yeh, all right, so,
and when you drink it, you're supposed to go, oh wow,
that's so incredible. And then you know the big the
big wolaw is it's because they use real sugar, which
(24:29):
would be better for you than the other ones. I
can't taste a difference. In other words, coke has been
a highlight of my life and a bane of my
existence for many, many decades. I'll never forget the Haymans,
Scott Hayman, Eddie Hayman, or the sons of my mom's
(24:49):
best friend, Marlene Hayman. And we would often go to
their house and they were the only ones on earth
that I knew drank ourci cola and so you know,
and then we used to have Lay's, I guess, just
potato chips, and they had prey. They were the first
step Pringles and I remember how novel that was. Oh
my gosh, Pringles. How did they get the potatoes to
(25:11):
stack perfectly together? And then Scottie would put one whole
one because they were kind of rounded a little bit
to where you could put it like it was almost
like a communion giant commute. Was it exactly the shape
of your mouth and it folded down on your tongue
and he would put the whole one in and then
just yeah. So I loved the Pringles, but I didn't
(25:32):
get the RC Cola, and it was never for me.
It was never a tough choice between. Even though I
think Burger King's better, well, the burging Burger's better than
the McDonald's. Fries are better, But I never went to
Burger King. I always went to McDonald's. I always drank hoke,
no Pepsi's not fine and RC or Remember when you
would go to the one one friend's house and they
had the generic brand of Cola's. Yeah, and it just
(25:54):
said Cola Soda soda. Dad's going through a tough time,
all right, I'll have one.
Speaker 9 (26:03):
How about the one friend down the block that had
Miracle Whip, Craft Miracle Whip.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
That was Mason Adams. By the way, a sandwich is
a sandwich, but a man which is a meal. He
also did the Craft Miracle Whip commercials. I always thought
miracle whip was garbage. Now Hellman's mayonnaise, I can. I
could have a mayonnaise sandwich right now. Nothing else. I'm
with you. I'm with you. And what about did you
(26:30):
pressing a large obeist Man not yet go ahead?
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Did you say smuckers? That he did the smuckers smuggers?
Suckers with a name like Smuckers. Well, the name like smuckers,
it had to be good. Why don't I just come back?
You know here, I am struggling to pay bills.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
I could just do Mason Adams, but we don't do
commercials like we used to, and we do not. I'm
just trying to create a long pause for Roger. Oh wow,
that I don't know. I guess later I'll do the
story I was gonna do. That was kind of fun,
(27:05):
wasn't that job? Everything can't be life and death. Coronavirus, well, coronavirus'
cases are rising around the nation. You know, the coronavirus
that can't kill you anymore, but it's still considered very low.
Mark Mayfield has more.
Speaker 6 (27:19):
The CEC says covid rates are growing in twenty five states.
They are mainly in the south, southeast and west coast
with the spike of part of a summer rise. There's
a highly contagious variant called nimbus that has a symptom
being referred to as a razor blade throat because it
feels like swallowing razor blades are Mark Mayfield.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Voters disapprove of President Trump's decision to deport i llegal
immigrants to countries other than their own. Of course, loss
to this whole story is sometimes their countries don't want
them back, then what do you do with them? Brian
Shuck reports it has more.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
According to a study conducted by Quinnipiac University, sixty four
percent of respondents disapprove of the deportation flights, while thirty
percent said they approve of the practice. The poll also
found that thirty nine percent of voters approve of the
way ICE is enforcing immigration laws, while fifty seven percent
disapprove and four percent did not offer an opinion.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
I'm Brian schuk sew Didy Combs is looking to rehabilitate
himself before he receives his sentencing this fall.
Speaker 10 (28:21):
According to a report by TMZ hip Hop, Mogul has
entered two programs to combat his issues with drugs and
domestic violence. One of those programs is known as STOP,
which stands for Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming, and it's
meant to prevent sexual assault and domestic abuse. Did He
is also participating in a drug abuse program in his
undergoing therapy did He was found guilty on two counts
(28:41):
of transportation to engage in prostitution. He's expected to remain
behind bars in New York while of waiting sentencing on
October third. I'm tammaged for HEO.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
I continue to be in awe of the books we
read in school versus the books. My kids all just
finished high school, so I don't have any still in
high school. They're all in college now. But they didn't
read any of them. So we're at the Superman movie
and the trailer for the Odyssey comes on, and that's
when I realized they didn't read the Odyssey either. They
(29:11):
didn't do Canterbury Tales. I don't think they did Makebeth.
They didn't do the Odyssey. They didn't do Dante's Inferno.
I don't know what they teach anymore. Some of them
are really good, you know, not so much Canterbury Tales,
but great Gatsby. I don't know if they did the
Great Ads. Well, of those I could see you could contemporize,
but I mean the classics. And let me tell you something,
(29:32):
this movie is gonna whatever. It's coming out next year,
I believe so. I don't think it's eligible for this
year's Oscar to be the following year os It's gonna
win everything. But Christopher Nolan's the Odyssey may not even
hit the theaters till next year, but moviegoers are already
purchasing tickets starting this week. That's how big the Odyssey's
(29:53):
going to be. You've incurred Poseidon's wrath, and even if
all the gods show you mercy, you still won't make
it home.

silly perspective. Oh, I think it was my excuse for
(31:21):
why only slept two hours, because I stayed up watching
the entire All Star Game and one of the names
I dropped was Don Kessinger. Ton Kessinger was the shortstop
of the Chicago Cubs out of Ole miss UH one.
He and Glenn Becker and Jose Cardinell were my three
favorite players all growing up as a small child. Former
Cobby Don Kessinger eighty three. Today, Baywatch is David Hasselhoff's
(31:42):
seventy three. You don't call her the queen. The Queen
consort Camilla Parker Bowles is seventy eight. Now you're gonna
ask me what's queen consort? Yeah, no idea this question?

The opening segment on socialism, the foolishness of the Democrat party,
(33:51):
but AOC specifically to bring the communist Zoron Mamdani to Washington,
to take a local mistake in New York and try
to make it their national banner. Sorting through that foolishness,
by the way, that is from a political news talk standpoint,
probably what I'm paid here to do. I wax eloquently
(34:17):
on that, and I'll bet everybody enjoyed the Hasselhoff conversation,
the sugar and Coca Cola versus r C Cola steemed
the nonsense, and really today is shaping up to be
that way. I promise you. I think more people are

I will admit to you, and I just want to
(35:00):
a documentary on seventies television and that's really what changed
it all. Shows like Mash all in the family, Mary
Tyler Moore Show, but breaking taboo barriers. It was a funny,

buzz today. So I'm not sure that all of America.
