Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, I'm Michael del JOHNO, and your morning show can
be heard live as it's happening five to eight am
Central and six to nine Eastern on great stations like
six twenty WJDX and Jackson, Mississippi, or Akrons, News Talk
six forty WHLO and Akron, Ohio and News Radio five
seventy WDAK and Columbus, Georgia. We'd love to be a
part of your morning routine, but we're glad you're here now.

(00:21):
Enjoyed the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Two three starting your morning off right. A new way
of talk, a new way of understanding because we're in
this together.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
This is your morning show with michael'dill john.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Seven minutes after the hour, Good morning and welcome to Monday, September,
the twenty ninth year of All Old.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
If you're just waking up, well, we had a shooting
at an LDS church in Grand Blank, Michigan, left four dead,
though we fear others may be dead. We haven't gone
through It was an arson and shooting and we still
haven't gotten through all of the fire debris. There could
be more bodies. We're keeping a post, keeping an eye

(01:10):
on the latest.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Done this tour.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
We all start of shooting in North Carolina. This guy
was really touched more on the New York City Mayor
Eric Adams dropping out of the race in New York
and the big heg seth Admirals and generals meeting that
the President apparently will attend. Roy o'neils here to discuss
the two big shootings, roy let's start with the one
in Grand Blank. All we know is a rocky veteran.

(01:33):
Everything seems fine until it isn't, until it isn't.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Indeed, the truck driver drives the truck into the church.
Witnesses say that the people in the church actually ran
toward the truck trying to help, but that's when the
gunman stepped out and started shooting. As you said, four
are known dead, eight more or wounded. One of those eight,
it's pretty dicey right now. And as you said, that

(01:59):
shooters said fire to the church as well, and they
are expecting to find more bodies and some of that debris.
The church or centry was gutted, the roof is gone,
some of the walls are in danger of collapsing. But
now that the sun's coming up, they'll start to get
a better handle on things there.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
FBI is on the scene along with the chief of police,
but I mean, there just doesn't seem to be much
of a footprint online of what was bothering this guy
at all. The two flags pretty dramatic. I mean, that
would scream he was some kind of a MAGA supporter,
but it almost seems over the top that he would be,

(02:34):
and that certainly isn't a part of the MAGA mission.
So mental illness probably a good place to start. But
no clues whatsoever who this man was hateful of or
angry at.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah, the FBI has not released a whole lot of
information so far. The FBI is leading this case because
well one, it's going to overwhelm the local police too,
because it's an attack on a religious institution. FBI tends
to take the lead in these kinds of cases, so
we're waiting for them for more information about this suspect.
And it's also interesting that both men involved in these

(03:10):
attacks forty year old, ex military in both.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Cases, Yeah, both ex military. Let's do the one in
North Carolina. This one, this guy has left a footprint
and a bunch of lawsuits and at all points to
maybe not all there.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Right, and it had been known to police. He claims
he was injured in the line of duty that he's
suffering from PTSD. Now, in this case, a man named
Nigel Edge open fire on this American fish company sort
of a waterfront bar and restaurant set up there in Southport,
North Carolina. Three people were killed, five others were injured.
He was on a boat when he started shooting and

(03:49):
then fled the scene. On the boat, they were able
to track him down. The Coastguard picked him up. Now
he's in custody facing multiple counts of first degree murder.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
And we all wonder where the end is and is
it in sight and what would it take to bring
about an end to all of this hat and violence.
We're always going to be back in the third hour
new economic numbers indicating seasonal hiring maybe at the lowest
level in fifteen years. We're also going to talk to
Chris Walker All Things Republican, Republican Consultant about that. The

(04:19):
inability to stop wars, the increased violence in America, is
everything okay in the Republican Party. As we will blink
and it'll be the holidays and then we'll be into
full midterms. All right, your morning show on the air,
Welcoming Word and WYLD, Greenville Spartanburg, great great radio station,

(04:43):
the voice of the Carolinas. Very proud of one five.
Welcome to Word and WRD Wyld and Greenville Spartanburg. There's
a lot of ways to be a part of the show.
You'll find all of them at our website, Your Morningshow
Online dot com. We have a podcast you can listen
to every day. We also have the ability to communicate

(05:03):
because the show belongs to you, so you can use
the talkback line, or you can email me at Michael
di Atiheartmedia dot com.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
To the talkback line. We Go.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Bill is in Tampa listening to Impact Radio.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Good morning, Michael.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
First and foremost, my prayers go out to all of
those who are affected by the shootings this weekend. And
I'd like to talk about Portland refusing Trump's help. If
you have any sign that your chart city is in trouble,
it is when Meals on Wheels pulls out. Meals on
Wheels is pulled out of Portland citing that they can
no longer keep their volunteers safe and bad Bunny should

(05:39):
be called ignorant Bunny.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Mary's Mary's in Boise, Idaho, YEP, listening by way of Sacramento.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Correct, and yet she knows more about.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Tennessee Titan football than any of the Tennessee media.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Good morning, Michael. My Monday NFL moves would be that
the Titans need to immediately fire Brand Callahan as the
head coach. He doesn't have the football knowledge of Jeff Fisher,
he doesn't have the player hurt like Mike agreeable. He's
just terrible. He just needs to go. The players don't
even seem like they want to play. Also, can the
NFL please find someone other than Jay Z to oversee.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
The halftime show. It's just getting worse every year. Thanks.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
That's the root of it, by the way, right there,
you know, the National Football League, the super Bowl used
to be beyond sports.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
It used to be that kind of event.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
And we've seen the commercials falling off, and we've seen
the halftime shows falling off, and we've seen more of
the out of the mainstream and or statements being made.
I don't know anything. I cannot bash bad Bunny because
I have no That's the first I've ever heard of

(06:56):
Bad Bunny. I know a little bit of the back story,
he doesn't like to come to the United States because
if he attracts a concert crowd, he thinks I is
going to storm it like like that's been an issue
in America up until a few months ago. But he'll
come for the for the halftime show. The rumors were
this is what made it even worse. The rumors were
it was gonna be Taylor Swift, which you know, I

(07:17):
could have done without that too.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But at least that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
He's got hits, she has a great stage presence, she
has this tie to the NFL by way of Kelsey.
I don't know if the Chiefs can get back to
a Super Bowl, that would make it even more spect
But we go from Taylor Swift to well, if Taylor
says no, it's going to be post Malone to bad Bunny.

(07:41):
I don't think that's sitting well with very many people.
Fetterman's at it again. You know, we were just shameless
plugged for the podcast talking about it's nineteen sixty eight,
who's going.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
To give the RFK junior speech?

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I realized RFK himself was assassinated a couple of months later,
so that irony aside. But a lot of people look
at that speech as calming things down. Nobody's delivering this
calming down speech. I talked about Richard Nixon and sixty
eight began to talk to the sensible center. Nobody's seemingly

(08:18):
doing that. Other than a self proclaimed revival at a
Charlie Kirk memorial service, I don't see any real signs
of a spiritual revival. How do we stop this escalation
of hate and violence? And who's to blame?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
And see?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I think that's the first trick. Maybe we should stop
playing the blame game. It could be the mainstream media,
cumulative exposure to the mainstream media for decades. It could
be the intelligentsia that used to be at the university

(09:08):
level but now in doctrination and socialization takes place K
through twelve in common education. It could be Hollywood rewriting history,
the news and news sources rewriting reality. And there's a
lot of fingers to point around. Maybe we just stopped
pointing fingers and someone just starts leading, right, because we

(09:30):
do have a matrix that hasn't been solved. We do
have a death of journalism That isn't a victory at all.
It's a defeat for the Republic. We do have a
social dilemma that has led to a lot of mental illness.
We were having a discussion about how would you have
stopped the Civil War ten years before? Good luck, And

(09:52):
by the way, things aren't so different today as it
was then when I was a kid. The difference between
Carter and Reagan, the difference between Ford and Carter, they

(10:17):
weren't that great now, the differences I want to play
this two party system gang game. Well, one socialist and
one's capitalist. One believes in life and conception, the other doesn't.
We've grown completely intolerant in a matrix. We hate the

(10:39):
other side, the other side hates us. We cannot find
common moral ground, which was really at the root of
the Civil War, sure with slavery, but slavey insofar as
our intent inalienable rights to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness,

(11:03):
that all men are created equal and they weren't being
And then the fight game states' rights. Well, you want
to live that way, you live that way, but we're
going to live this way. We got agriculture, you got industry.
We need this work, all right, Well, we're going to succeed,
and we're going to form a Confederate States. That's the
only thing that hasn't happened yet other than that, we're

(11:25):
on a trajectory of another civil war. And where will
this calming voice come from. It could be Trump and
he should start talking to the sensible center. He should

(11:46):
tone down his rhetoric. He should demand that others do
the same. You could model RFK speech and the night
MMLK was killed. Right now, John Fetterman, believe it or not,
is the only one that's seemingly trying. Futterman said he
won't be the guy labeling opponents Nazis or fascists, all

(12:09):
while ruling out a party switch during the Sunday morning shows,
because that's the next thing, right. Oh well, if Fetterman's
going to be sensible, he's got a switch.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
No, he doesn't. I said this conversation with people all
the time.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
If you really think the Democrat Party is the problem,
that's who you should be praying for. Hold your party accountable,
make sure they stick to their platform and.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Intent, and pray for the other side.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
If there was a revival in the Republican Party, if
you will, that wouldn't further the country at all. In fact,
they would fan the flames. You need more John Fetterman
than the Democrat Party. You don't need John Fetterman to
become white and then leave. And I love the way
he resists the notion I'm not gonna switch. I'm just

(13:07):
gonna be an independent voice within the Democrat Party. I'm
not gonna be afraid of people. And if there are
groups attacking a Democrat, the last one in Pennsylvania, then
that's part of the problem in our party. And if
you want a Democrat it's going to go around calling

(13:36):
people Nazis, fascists, all these kinds of things. Well, I'm
not gonna be that guy. And I happen to believe
the truth, regardless if it's the Republican or the Democratic voice.
Pennsylvania Democrat, who has often broken with his party on
the Israeli hamas War reaffirmed support for Israel, called for

(13:58):
efforts to shut down the government is wrong. As members
of his party, Republicans continue to engage in finger pointing.
So that's where my voice is, and if that puts
me as an outlier, then that's where I am. You

(14:19):
have the same thing happening on the other side as well.
This story. I don't know if it's going to let
me open it. Because but Marjorie Taylor Green, she's basically

(14:39):
had it with the White House threats.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
This is like the Queen of.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Maga, right, And she's saying, I want all the Epstein
files released, and the White House apparently gets with her
and says, shut up about that or else, and she's like, well,
she had the two word phrase blank you was her
formal response. But I don't know, you know, because I

(15:06):
like that. I don't like to hang a lot on
Marjorie Taylor Green. But potentially no voices have risen yet
to talk to the Sensible Center to speak to resisting hate.
That hate is defeated with love, not more hate. Violence

(15:30):
is defeated with peace, not more violence. It's an opportunity
for President Trump to do very clearly, and he hasn't yet.
It was an opportunity for RFK Junior to do at
the Kirk memorial with his uncle and father as an example,
and he didn't. And I think what you're seeing is

(15:52):
John Fetterman trying to and right away, the minute he,
you know, starts holding his party accountable, everybody wants to
switch him, to switch parties. That would be more of
the problem. We need more of the solution, which is
the direction he's headed, and maybe you'll take a few
more with him. I just wanted to salute John Fetterman
on the weekend talking head shows that you may have

(16:14):
missed because everybody was watching sports of some kind, College football,
NFL football, Ryder Cup, it was now baseball playoffs.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
It's very busy week in sports.

Speaker 7 (16:27):
Hey there, I'm Kenny Stevens and my morning show is

He had a bad flight experience home. He's half asleep.
But thank goodness, we won't be getting pictures of I

(17:21):
mean that one you sent red could have been a screensaver.
I don't even really believe that was your phone that
took that picture. That.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Can you imagine how beautiful that is?

Speaker 1 (17:30):
How great is my God he made that?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
That was just the.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I love hearing from you. I don't love any listener
more than another, or any affiliate more than another. I
can tell you I'm pretty thrilled though, with one O

to do it here in just a few minutes. Also,
I got your emails at Michael d at iHeartMedia dot
com all right. John Decker is our White House correspondent.

(18:19):
It's a busy week for the president, not the least
of which is meeting with congressional leaders to avoid a
government shutdown.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Good morning, John, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 8 (18:27):
That government shutdown take a set to take effect Tuesday
twelve oh one am. So the clock is ticking. The
President meeting with congressional leaders. We're top Republicans, top Democrats.
That will happen three o'clock this afternoon in the Oval Office.
The President also has a very busy morning because he's
going to be meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nittanyahu,

(18:49):
trying to get Israel on board of his proposal to
end the war between Israel and Amass. So busy day
on tap for the president as we begin this new week.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
I guess the government shut down.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
I mean, it's hard to point to one thing because
it's really just two party partisan dysfunction. But I think
technically would say it's over healthcare and healthcare funding.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Right.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
The right says we have a procedure and give us time.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
We're going to get to that.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Just get us past the emergency of the left says, no,
we're gonna hold everything up right now, you're gonna do
it now, we're not going to move on. I would
think that's the main thing separating them right.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
Well, that is, and so what Republicans are suggesting is
this seven week kick the can down the road time
to reach an agreement on that. But the clock is
ticking in terms of several benefits associated with the Affordable
Care Act that are due to expire at the end
of twenty twenty five, and Democrats believe this is their
best opportunity to take care of that particular issue and

(19:56):
hold the feet to the fire for Republicans. So we'll
see what happens this afternoon. I think that both sides
are preparing for the possibility of a government shutdown. That
seems to be quite likely, and you know, we'll see.
I think the President has put this meeting on the schedule,
off the schedule, on the schedule, off the schedule this court.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
During the course of the past week.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Or so, you brought up Natanyahu's speech before the United Nation.
What is Washington's reaction to that speech and what is
the President.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Planning to pick up the paton and run with.

Speaker 8 (20:32):
Well, I think the most important reaction is the reaction
from President Trump. President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanya,
who are on the same page on most issues. But
the President has this peace proposal that he's put on
the table.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
He's not shared it yet with Hamas.

Speaker 8 (20:48):
He's not shared it yet officially with the Israeli Prime Minister.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
That will be the opportunity today.

Speaker 8 (20:54):
There is on the schedule as things stand right now,
early in the afternoon, Michael, today a joint press conference
with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Donald Trump. So will
hear how this meeting goes, and we'll see if the
President can get one side to agree to this plan
that the President has put together. And then if indeed

(21:15):
Israel says yet we're on board, then the tricky part
will be getting Hamas to agree with it as well.
It really requires Hamas to give up its biggest leverage,
and that is giving up all the hostages bodies of
dead hostages that it has in its possession as well.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
So the presidents struggling to stop a war in the
Middle East, stop a war with Russia and Ukraine, no
progress there, the violence continues at home and a government
shutdown looming.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Yeah, that's a pretty easy week.

Speaker 8 (21:44):
Ahead, Yeah, easy week exactly. A lot on the table
for the President today, domestic issues, foreign policy issues, and
you touched upon the war in Ukraine. I'm sure there'll
be an element to that story that will touch upon
the President, and we'll hear from the President on that
front as well at some point during the course of

(22:04):
this week, perhaps even during the course of the president's
joint press conference that he has with Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin D'tignanhu.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
John has more later nine Eastern His The White House
Briefing Room with John Decker will be available his podcast
daily on the iHeartRadio app. Just like you're a morning show,
make sure you set it as a preset. John, we'll
talk again tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
All right.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
There's great ways to be a part of your morning show,
not the least of which is the talkback button. Where
we're going to start. I believe in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma,
just outside of Tulsa and Ellis Michael.

Speaker 9 (22:37):
I appreciate what you say about John Fetterman and the
way he talks. He does sound like he has more
sense than a lot of those on the left. My
question would be, what exactly is his voting record? Well,
he talks this way, does he vote this way or
does he votes against the left at any time?

Speaker 3 (22:59):
That's a great question.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
And by the way, you only have thirty seconds or
the Oscars music starts. No, that's a great question. Yeah,
that's the problem. And Red said something off their earlier
and I laughed in nervousness. What the Democrat Party's going
to do is target him in the primary. They're going
to go after him. Fetterman's a problem. Fetterman isn't just

(23:23):
a long way from the squad and the socialist element
of the Democrat Party.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
He's not even a silent.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Progressive slash establishment Democrat. Or he will be targeted. And
here's why, and it's answer to your question.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
In January twenty twenty five, he was the only Senate
Democrat to vote with the Republicans to advance a bill
to sanction the ICC that's the International Criminal Court over
the warrants against net Yahoo. He took a stand by Israel,
by the president, against his party. And he was the

(24:05):
only one the confirmation of Pam Bundy. He was the
only Democrat to support Pam Bondy for Attorney General. The
continuing Resolution and avoiding a government shutdown, he was repeatedly criticized.
He voted in favor of the Republican back continuing Resolution
when his party was pushing to block them, and I'm

(24:26):
sure he's getting that pressure right now. Votes on foreign
policy in Israel, he strongly supported the military aid to Israel,
opposed measures of rhetoric within his party that he viewed
overly critical of Israel. He also voted with the Republicans
for Kloture on a bill.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
To sanction the ICC. So yes, now he.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Doesn't vote like a solid Republican, but he votes like
a very sensible Democrat at a time where the party
is more radical and more left than ever. But again,
in context for those of you just tuning in, veteran's
on the weekend shows, and he's basically saying, yeah, I will.
I am not going to call the president a Nazi.

(25:08):
I'm not going to fan the flames of this American
hatred and violence. And I'm also not leaving my party.
Just because I have some common sense doesn't mean I
have to leave my party. He may end up an
independent by the time the primary is over. Well, we've
seen that play out in New York, haven't we. Next
up is Matthew and Saint Louis.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Good morning, Michael.

Speaker 10 (25:28):
I'm so happy that you brought that up with Fetterman.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
I read that article this morning, and I really think for.

Speaker 10 (25:34):
Everybody that's saying he needs to switch sides, he needs
to stay exactly where he is, because that is the
key to continuity and balance. That's how we have this revival,
that's how we have peace.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
We need true leadership on both sides.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
You'll find the talkback button on the iHeartRadio app. Let's
go to emails Michael datiheartmedia dot com. Blake writes, but
the heck is a bad bunny?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Is it a.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Psycho Christmas toy that becomes grabbed by angry buyers at Target? No,
it's a He's from Puerto Rico, right, I believe I
don't know any of his songs. I don't know what
it has to do. You know, well, I think the
worst part about it for the NFL is the rumors
were it was going to be Taylor Swift. Now that

(26:23):
would have been Look, whether you can't stand her or not,
she's talented, she got a lot of hits, she has
great stage presence, she would put on a great show,
and she has ties to the NFL their Travis Kelcey.
I mean that would unite all the female interests in
America for the Super Bowl. I mean that would have
been the no brainer of no brainers. Can't believe it
hasn't happened already. And then the rumor was, well, if

(26:45):
she doesn't say yes or they can't come to an
agreement with that, it's going to be postm alone.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
And then what do you get, bad bunny. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Oh, that's playing for the NFL. Mary writes this. Gavin
Newsom related to Jefferson Davis. They are related through a
Democrat party. Davis resisted a moral movement enacted by his
US president. Davis was a president. Newsom wants to be one.
I'm sure there are numerous others. Bill obviously feeling very

(27:21):
creative this morning. Good morning, Michael, Jeffrey and Red. Just
wanted to follow up with my gratitude on the show
at my one year anniversary as a listener. Appreciate that.
Roger boy, this is long. How am I going to
do this? I usually live about twelve miles. I usually
live about we either do it, you don't run, usually

(27:45):
live about twelve miles but you know, sometimes I can
live twenty miles or one hundred miles or in a
different country. I usually live about twelve miles to the
east of downtown Portland, Oregon. I often go downtown for
various reasons. Portland is a big, small city. The downtown
is usually not too busy. You can usually park on
the street and walk wherever you want. This summer, the
city in the metropolitan area have been completely quiet and saved.

(28:08):
There's only one exception, and that's the ice facilities. There
have been routine small protests on that site. Usually the
number of protesters range from a few to about one hundred.
At times, the protesters have caused minor problems, Yeah, minor problems,
like pushing shopping carts into glass. Across the street from

(28:29):
the Ice building is one of the large rental condo buildings.
Trying to find the point you and your conservative MAGA
followers look in so far as MAGA means make America
great again, as President Trump has made his slogan, as
Ronald Reagan made his slogan, and as others have used

(28:51):
the slogan in the past, I'm a mega follower. Other
than that, I just call balls and strikes. I am
not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat. I'm an independent.
I usually have absolutely nothing in common with democrats whatsoever.
The Bible has shaped my worldview, which shapes my political views,
as did my founding fathers. I stay focused on the

(29:12):
Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and the Republican Party
rarely lives its platform. I will say in defensive President Trump,
he has done more to live the.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Republican Party platform.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
And I would challenge anyone out there who hates Donald Trump,
what has he done that isn't in the Republican Party platform?

Speaker 3 (29:31):
And then you may say.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Well, using the National Guard on his own streets, Well,
that's a special circumstance that we're living in, so obviously
you view that as some kind of an attack on
statehood and an abusive power.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
But please don't let me in with all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
You and your conservative mega followers around the wrong side
of this topic. Trump is destroying the democracy and the
government that we used to have again. And I'm not
bad you for writing that. I'm telling you we live
in a matrix. And I'm sure based on everyone that's

(30:07):
on your social media and all the stories that you
all are sharing among yourselves and the narratives that you're repeating.
It feels that way, and I can assure you on
the other side, with what they're watching, what they're listening to,
what they're sharing among themselves, gives a complete that's the problem.

(30:30):
On the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of our Republic,
may the Declaration of Independence be what all of us
begin to focus on and the Republic becomes the goal
for all And being an American, I'm not interested in
the R versus D though I get the matrix, I

(30:50):
get the death of journalism, and I get the hatred.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I'm just trying to get beyond it.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
I would think we have enough evidence with a shooter
last week that it might be wise to protect ice facilities,
and I think that's what the President's about.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Now, I get it.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
You change it from Secretary of Defense to Secretary of War,
and then the left can do the headline Secretary of
War beat exit officially ordering the National Guard into his
own country state of Oregon in Portland. I did enjoy
the Ryder Cup though, That's good, and I'm excited for.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Major League Baseball playoffs.

Speaker 1 (31:36):

Doctors call it weight cycling.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Half of Americans do it, and if you do it enough,
you're at risk of diabetes, liver damage, heart attack, and stroke.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Weight cycling or what you may call yo yoing.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
So when you lose ten pounds, then you gain it back,
then you lose it again, then you gain ten back
and another ten. It puts tremendous strain in your organs
and it leads to serious health issues. Bottom line is
most people need help to stop weight cycling, and here's

the city and ice facilities from domestic terrorists.

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley says the troops are a distraction.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Trump is using nice to sew fear and chaos.

Speaker 12 (34:13):
Trump authorized two hundred members of the Oregon National Guard
to perform federal functions for sixty days. That includes protecting
federal property where protests are occurring or likely to occur.
Oregon Governor Tina Kotek says she told Trump there is
no insurrection or threat to public safety that needs military intervention.

Speaker 1 (34:31):

towel in his bid for reelection.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Larry Kuffsky has more.

Speaker 7 (34:37):
Mayor. Adams announced his decision to quit the race in
a video released on social media.

Speaker 9 (34:42):
Despite all we've achieved, I cannot continue my re election campaign.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
In his statement, Adams said his campaign was undermined by
constant media speculation about his future and a decision by
the campaign Finance Board to withhold funding. His departure leaves
Democratic front runners zo Ran Mamdani, former Governor Andrew Cuomo,
who's running as an independent, and Republican Curtis Sliwa I'm
