Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, I'm Michael, and your morning show is heard on
great radio stations across the country like one oh five,
nine twelve fifty WHNZ and Tampa, Florida, News Radio five
seventy wkb N and Youngstown, Ohio and News Radio one
thousand KTOK in Oklahoma City. Love to have you listen
to us live in the morning, and of course we're
so grateful you came for the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Enjoy starting your morning off right, A new way of talk,
a new way of understanding because we're in this together.
This is your Morning Show with Michael O'Dell Trump seven
minutes after the hour, after just waking up.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
A lot happened while you were asleep last night President
made his way to Israel. One of the cooler things
that happened when the plane with the that was the
original seven hostages, wasn't it Yeah? I was? I think so.
As the plane with the original the first seven hostages

(00:57):
released touchdown in Israel, Air Force one did a touchdown
and then fly by with it, So the wheels of
your President's plane touched the ground as the first seven
hostages playing touch grounds. There is one of the many
cool things that happened middle the nighte but first seven
were released, then the remaining thirteen were released. All twenty

(01:20):
living Israeli hostages have been released. That's our first who
this is really happening. Now there's the remains of the
twenty eight bodies of those hostages that did not survive.
There is some word that they may not all be
able to be located. Meanwhile, to the kanesse that we
go in Jerusalem, where bb Net and Yahoo addressed the
government saying Donald Trump is the greatest friend Israel has

(01:43):
ever had in the White House. Their opposition leader is
speaking right now. He had one quote that we loved.
He said the Jewish story didn't end in the Bible,
it began in the Bible. And then he addressed all
those that were protesting against Israel and Israel and calling
a genocide, saying they were duped. We're seeing is even
the opposition in Israel is united. They're putting country before

(02:07):
their partisan differences. So pretty extraordinary, historic day. Roy o'nils here.
I know we're gonna talk about the stock market crash
in China, but you know, ry you never know how
long history like this and peace like this will last.
This was a great start to the day. Right, celebrate
it when you can.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Right, we are standing by President Trump is expected to
give his speech any minute now to the KANNESSEI we
did get one or two poll quotes from it. The
President to tell the Kannesse that quote, Israel has won
all that can be won by force of arms and
offer its hand of friendship to Iran.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
So that's some of what we're going to hear from
the President. See how that one plays. I tell that
I do think rory and again I struggle with hope too,
knowing the enemy inside and out, knowing the thousands of
years of history. But this does feel a little different
in that if Arab and rec Muslim nations get behind

(03:03):
the Palestinian territory oversee, it's rebuilding. Oversee, it's peace and
culture and prosperity, maybe the people at Palestine won't choose
a thug within the Israeli borders. I mean that makes
this I think a little bit different. All right, I'm
hoping I'm clinging to that way anyway.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah, I just wonder if there's almost too much focus
on that material side of things and less on the cultural, religious,
philosophical differences that still exist. You know, it's I know,
we all talk about quickly, talk about rebuilding and who's
going to help rebuild, and you're like, oh, these are
still two people that don't have a whole lot of
love for one another.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
And I'm not I don't know if we reach that yet. Yeah,
oh no, of course not. But that's the hope anyway,
that they would be free to have their different religion.
They're not free to not acknowledge Israel's right to exist,
especially when they reside inside Israel. All right, what are
we making of this Chinese stock market crash? And is
this going to affect us? It seems to have done

(04:03):
a bit of a one to eighty. On Friday.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Things went off the rails after China was refusing to
allow some exports of rare earths. President Trump then said, well, yeah,
well here comes a one hundred percent tariff on Chinese
products starting November first. Then the presidents stepped back from
that a little bit with a truth social post saying
don't worry about China, it will all be fine. So
we've seen some markets swing back, a big, big sell

(04:26):
off in crypto, losing like eighteen nineteen billion.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Dollars worth of valuation on Friday. That's also starting to
come back as well. So a bit of a roller
coaster on your four oh one K this weekend. All right, Well,
let's see what it looks like when the market opens
a little bit later this morning. Rory's going to be
back in the third hour. We're going to talk about
the thousands of government workers who have been laid off,
with more to come as the shutdown enters its second week.

(04:54):
You know, I was looking at the Jerusalem Post cover. Gosh,
don't ever let me be that host that makes this
about me. I'm just gonna make this brief statement. I
was never won for awards. I remember a company made
us enter an award and I won the first year,
and then I entered the second year and I won,

(05:15):
and then finally I told them to them entering again.
And I don't think I've ever entered one of these
awards again. If somebody wanted to give me award, that'd
be one thing, But to enter them in order to win,
it's just not me. I don't know. I mean, we
were talking with John Decker on Friday and he said, oh,
Donald Trump wants to win the Nobel Peace Prize. And

(05:37):
I'm sure he does, and he should. He certainly deserves it.
But if you go by the deadline, if you're against
how Barack Obama won his sixty days into his presidency,
it was ridiculous. He hadn't done anything yet. That's what
would have happened had Donald Trump won the Nobel Peace

(05:59):
Prize last week, because the cutoff date was two weeks
after he entered office. No, the appropriate time to win
a Nobel Peace Prize is in January of next year.
That would fall under this timeline. Certainly, just the achievement
of today would qualify. And if you should accomplish Russia

(06:21):
and Ukraine between now and then, it's a no brainer.
Then if they don't give it to him, it's political.
But I was just sitting here thinking, if I was
Donald Trump, this Jerusalem Post cover it is probably all
I would need, let alone how warmly he's been welcomed

(06:45):
by the people since landing and inside the government at
the Kanesset even as he speaks now, that should be
all the reward he needs and the hard work to come.
But if you woke up this morning in jeru Is,
the cover of the Jerusalem Post had the big bold
headline He's bringing them home, and it wasn't bb Net

(07:08):
and Yahoo's silhouette, it was Donald Trump's, with the faces
of all the hostages pictures making the image of his silhouette.
Trump's smart diplomacy brought home every hostage and ended the war.

(07:28):
But Israel's real test begins now with Hamas's disarmament and
the Gaza's future governance. And I think, and I can't
hear it, he's getting a lot of applause. Some of
them aren't unanimous. But the President is laying laying out

(07:49):
the achievement, which is right to do. How they handled
the who The's, how they handled Hesbala, how they handled Hamas,
how they handled the proxies of Iran, how they handled Iran.
I'm not a fan of allowing Hamas to remain inside
the Palestinian territory. That's like leaving cancer cells and expecting

(08:10):
them not to metastasize. But that's that disarmament point. And
then the other is the future of Gaza and what
Rory and I were kicking around. Now, if the Arab
nations and the reasonable Muslim world oversees that and they're
free to be Muslim in a safe place, maybe they

(08:32):
won't turn to thugree. Maybe they will anyway. Again, I
never know which of the three contradictory examples of Mohammed
one might be following until they act, and we won't either.
But step one is cease fire. Step two return of

(08:54):
living hostages, Step three returning of the remains of those
who didn't survive. Then step four the releasing of their hostages,
and then it's on to dealing with hamas a mossless
Palestinian future. That's really where we're at next. I love

(09:14):
how the Jerusym Pussa the return of all the hostages
in a single operation is an extraordinary achievement, a testament
to Israel's social solidarity and to the Jewish belief that
whoever saves one's life, it is as if he saved
an entire world. The value of the human life that

(09:35):
today is worth celebrating. I can go just as quickly
with you to the pessimism of the future. I just
choose to celebrate the achievements of today and cling to
the hope for better tomorrow. And that's where we're at
in the Middle East. Meanwhile, here at home, while we

(09:56):
can get peace between these enemies of the thousands of
years we can't get two parties to see eyed, and
we enter yet another week of government shutdown, another week
of finger pointing, and another week of oh my god,
we're all going to die from the leftist media. And
at least four people are dead and twenty others injured

(10:16):
after a bar shooting early Sunday morning in South Carolina.
As you heard Rory describe, the major stock markets across
Asia sunk following the fear of a trade war between
China and the US that has somewhat been rectified in
the second half of the weekend. Here at home, of course,
I made a mention, I don't think the market will
be open today right for Columbus Day, nor banks, nor

(10:39):
just we're open on Columbus Day. How's that politically correct? Yeah,
what's going on? But will you know? Obviously even more
time to cool out before the market opens here in
the US on Tuesday morning, and the Mariners first blood
in the American League Championship Series, so play game two
today and the National League will join them later tonight.
And if you fell asleep, the Lions fell to four

(11:00):
and two, losing on Monday night to the Chiefs. Two
Monday night football games tonight. I actually think, you know,
unfortunately they gutted all the good games. Sunday. I mean,
Bills and Falcons, that's gonna be a great game. The
Falcons can run the football. They that's going to be
closer than people think. And you know, obviously I'm a

(11:21):
Bills fan, so I want them to win. But that's
a good game. And then the Bears and Commanders I
think could be a fun one. I mean, very little
defense on either side, there should be a lot of offense.
And then last night, you know, Lions and Chiefs. That's
the best game of the weekend. Didn't leave much to
watch on Sunday. If you're a Cleveland Brown fan, you've
got to be looking at Baker Mayfield and scratching your head, saying,

(11:45):
let me see, do you realize every starting receiver is
now injured? Those were all second string receivers. And then
that one run to get the first down to secure
the win is one for the ages. I mean, I
might say the Bills, maybe the Lions in the long run.

(12:06):
Don't count the Chiefs out yet, but is there a
better team in the country than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
Because I don't think so. And there's nobody playing better quarterback,
and there's nobody more in line to get the MVP
than Baker Mayfield, and he should be playing for the Browns.
There I said it. But in cities of your morning
show interest, Bucks a winner, Broncos a winner, Seahawks a winner,
Chargers a winner, Rams a winner, two and zero in

(12:28):
Los Angeles, Losers forty nine Ers in San Francisco, Titans
in Nashville, Browns and Cleveland, and Cardinals in Arizona, and
two Monday in football games. As I mentioned today, the
Bills in the Falcons started about six fifteenth Central than
the Bears about an hour later against the Commanders. And
that's kind of what today is shaping up to be.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
This is Your Morning Show with Michael del Chono.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
All twenty remaining living Israeli hostages had been released by
hamas Israeli Prime Minister, bb NET and Yahoo. At the
Canesse in Jerusalem is thanking and congratulating President Trump as
the US negotiated deal to the end of the fighting
in the Gaza takes hold. Here's what he said, Donald Trump.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Is the greatest friend that the State of Israel has
ever had in the White House.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
YEAHO is both thankful and congratulating President Trump as the
US deal to end the fighting in the Gaza is beginning.
Dan Yeah, who says today can be seen as the
start of something new in the Middle East.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Mister President, you are committed to this piece. I am
committed to this piece, and together, mister President, we will
achieve this piece.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Nan Yeah, who says President Trump played a critical role
in getting this day to come to pass.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
I've never seen anyone move the world so quickly, so decisively,
so resolutely as our friend President Donald J.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Trump. You know, it's interesting. Donald Trump has since taken
the stage addressing the kanessset, and he said nothing but
praise for everybody that worked on behalf of the United States.
Very very refreshing to see. Hundreds of people have been
forced to evacuate in the southwest of Colorado, where remnants
of Hurricane Priscilla have been causing torrential rainfall. We get
more from Scott Carr.

Speaker 6 (14:17):
Those living in nearly four hundred homes had to be
evacuated Saturday in the town of Bayfield after four inches
of rain fell in about a forty eight hour period,
causing a nearby levee to breach. And nearby creeks to overflow.
Dozens of homes have been damaged by the raging floodwaters.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
No injuries have been reported. I'm Scott carr Well. We
all know from Billy Joel how important it is to
keep the faith. We now learn from the British Journal
of Sports Medicine how important is we all keep the pace.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Tammy Trihio has details.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
The research found that walking at an average or normal
speed of two to three miles an hour was linked
to a fifteen percent lower risk of type two diabetes,
and a brisk and striding speed doubled that percentage. Studies
have also found that walking fifteen minutes a day, five
days a week help boost immunity and lessons cravings four sweets.
Recent research found that walking seven thousand steps a day

(15:07):
lowers the chance of heart disease by more than half,
and walking after eating can help reduce heart disease risk,
regulate blood glucose levels, and improve sleep quality. I'm Tammy, Trho.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Does it count? Did I walk about seven thousand steps
a day back and forth to the parent try to
get sweets? Probably not Saturday, This was a big one.
Actress Diane Keaton died in her home in Los Angeles.

Speaker 9 (15:29):
Keaton shot to fame on the big screen in nineteen
seventy two when she was capped in the first Godfather movie.

Speaker 10 (15:35):
Michael, Why did you come here?

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Why?

Speaker 9 (15:38):
Five years later, the film that made her an icon,
You played very well?

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Oh yeah, so do you? Oh God?

Speaker 9 (15:45):
That was in a scene with Woody Allen and Annie Hall.
She won an Academy Award for that role in nineteen
seventy seven.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
I'm Phil for Arar. Lions lost the Chiefs last night,
thirty to seventeen. Two Monday night football games tonight Bills
and Falcons at six feet fifteen, then the Bears and
the Commanders at seven fifteen, and Mariners took game one.
Game two is today at four point thirty the Dodgers
in Milwaukee. Game one is tonight at seven oh eight.

Speaker 9 (16:12):
Hey, this is Jeff from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and my morning
show is your Morning Show with Michael del Jorno.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Hi, It's Michael.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Your Morning show airs live five to eight am Central
six to nine Eastern in great cities like Memphis, Tennessee, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sacramento, California.
We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
But we're happierre here now. Enjoy the podcast.

Speaker 11 (16:40):
Each day is a precious gift from God. During we awake,
he gives us two things, a chance and a choice.
One of the first choices and probably best choices of
my day, is starting my day with your morning show
and you guys.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
You guys are rock solid and I appreciate the show.

Speaker 11 (17:00):
But I have to mention, Michael, you did not mention
the Bengals in your scoring recap.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
All right. I did this for one fan who lights
the Reds. But we're not on in Cincinnati that I'm
aware of, so why should we be. They lost to
the Packers twenty seventy eighteen. People can listen via the
iHeart app Well I know, well in that case, I

(17:26):
gotta give every score. Next thing, you know, we'll become
a sports show. Let's do valerie valeries at our BNA.
I believe.

Speaker 12 (17:36):
Good morning, Michael. It's great to hear you on such
an historic morning. Praise the Lord for he is good.
I also am very happy to be hearing your first hour,
which I rarely do. I am taking off for Las
Vegas for the first time. Wonderful Nashville's BNA so wish
me luck and bon biage.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Or born Aviaca jon oh Chapelle always do the red. No,
I don't know. I have no advice for Vegas. Careful
on the streets. Yeah it is. It's his historic day.
I kind of put those two callers together, and I
would say, I can't speak to the future. My job
is to hope. I think things are different this time

(18:17):
and they can be very different in the future, and
therefore I cling to that hope. Although realistically I understand
the concerns, but sometimes the day has to just be
enough in and of itself. And for twenty hostages to
all be released, that's a great day. Now, the remains
of those who died, we wait for them, and if
there's clarification, because there might be some that they don't

(18:39):
know where the remains are, and then we'll have the
release of the Palestinians. Already, what's happening at the Kannesse
at the speech the President's giving even as we speak
right now, pretty remarkable, pretty historical. John Decker is our
White House correspondent. He joins us, well, I guess if
Donald Trump decides to not run for a third term,
I think he could be Prime Minister of Israel today

(19:00):
loving them. Oh, that's a no brainer.

Speaker 13 (19:03):
Absolutely, the most popular person in Israel today is the
person who negotiated this peace deal that led to the
release of those twenty hostages held for over two years
and also put an end to this war that has
cost so many lives and gives a new dawn to
the Middle East. That's the way the President described it

(19:24):
and the speech that he's delivering right now to the
kanesse in Jerusalem.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
So a really remarkable day.

Speaker 13 (19:31):
I think it's an historic day really for the Middle
East and also for the world itself.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
So again, what makes this different otherwise is just the
definition of insanity is the president has all read. I
mean there's two things. One, I think bb Netnya who
addressed this in his speech. One what they've done to
weaken Iran, what they've done to decimate Hamas and has
Belah and the Hoho thies. That's part of it. The

(19:58):
other part is the relationships the president it has created
with the Arab world and reasonable Muslim nations to oversee
this area and rebuild it and create a sense of
peace and prosperity so that the Palestinians don't choose a
more jie hottest friend to take care of them. That
does make this different. And the administration has been very upfront, John,

(20:19):
that's the heavy lifting to come. We all realize that. Well,
that toughest part.

Speaker 13 (20:23):
Yeah, this is phase one and what comes after this
is more difficult. What does the future of Gaza look like?
Who governs Gaza? How is it stabilized going forward in
the future, How does the rebuilding begin? Who pays for
the rebuilding? A lot of unanswered questions. But first step
in this process is phase one, ending this war, return

(20:47):
of those hostages. That is something that has been sought
after for the past two years. President Trump really the
only person who could.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Make this happen, all right, So John, do we have
any clarification? I know that Hamas has said there's been
some question as to whether or not Hamas can locate
all twenty eight of the Israelis who died in captivity.
Do we release the palor does Israel release the Palestinian
hostages after they get the remains or after they get

(21:16):
the twenty living. Because they got the twenty living and
what if they can't find those all those remains? Will
this hold up the release of the Palestinian hostages that
Israel has.

Speaker 13 (21:27):
Well, there'll be a team that's going to be going
into Gaza looking for those remains, augmenting what Hamas says
that they will be doing. But the release of those
Palestinian prisoners has already begun. So it's already begun, Israel
living up to their end of the bargain. And of course,
as you point out, it may take some time to
locate the remains of those twenty eight hostages who are

(21:51):
also kidnapped on October seventh of twenty twenty three, and
that's a part of this deal as well.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
I'm going to let you address it. But I see
how the president's treated at home. I saw how he
was treated in cutter or some say Katar, how he
was treated in Saudi Arabia, how he was treated arriving
in Israel. It's remarkable how the troubled and other places
in the world view our president versus their own country.

(22:20):
It's quite striking.

Speaker 13 (22:23):
Well, look, the president is seen around the world in
terms of foreign policy. Here in America, Americans view the
president through the prism primarily through domestic policy. Yes, there
are individuals, certainly all across America that vote and are
concerned about America's foreign policy, the international policies of the president,

(22:44):
but it's domestic policy that really impacts people on a
regular basis at home, and that accounts for the reason
why you don't have that kind of approval rating that
you may have right now for President Trump in places
like Israel and Poland and other places around the world
where the president really, I think, for lack of a

(23:04):
better word, is beloved. Certainly that's the case in Israel today.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
It is, and it was refreshing to see even Hillary
Clinton acknowledge that on the weekend talking head. Shows what
a remarkable accomplishment this is. You got to love America
more than you dislike a president, and she certainly showed that.
This weekend was very refreshing. John Decker, thank you so much.
We'll talk again tomorrow. I will say this, I think
if all the things that happened in the middle of
the night, because I will be honest with people. You know,

(23:32):
you never know until you know, and so I was
somewhat guarded. You know, you just take it one step
at a time, and so that's why I'll address what
becomes of the Palestinian territory and the Gaza as that arrives.
But for today, I woke up in the middle of
the night and the first seven hostages were released, and

(23:54):
I don't know about anybody anybody else, but I went
and then my thoughts went to, is that all that's alive?
Because if you were up in the middle of the
night like we were, what else would you think? You know?
Seven first, and then the other thirteen came later, and
in between were the names of all twenty. And that's

(24:16):
when I went, Okay, so there are twenty alive. And
then all were released. What time would that have been
they all released? Was somewhere around too Central our time,
somewhere there, yeah, one, And then I went, this is happening.
I don't know how the rest works out, And what

(24:37):
I'm seeing on television is simply remarkable. The President of
the United States is in the Kanesset in Jerusalem. He's
addressing the parliament. Maybe Neetan Nyaho said Israel has had
no greater friend in the White House than Donald Trump.
And then I'm watching the president. You know, he's going
to get to a part of a speech where I
don't know, well, it's going to go over as we

(24:59):
move forward and he tries to introduce war is over.
Now we got to extend a hand to a run.
I I'm just gonna speak straight from knowledge. It's possible.
Just like in Afghanistan, the thugs would come around and say,

(25:24):
you see, these US troops are not going to always
be here, and when they're gone, you're dead. And they
meant it, and they followed through on it. The minute
we left. They went door to door. That's how they roll,
and that's how they keep the credibility and fear. So
I don't know when the Palestinian people return to their area,

(25:45):
will they just lay low for a decade and then
find themselves more in bed with she hottists, or if
there is a reasonable Arab presence and reasonable Muslim nations
support for rebuilding and creating prosperity, may they be less inclined. Well,

(26:07):
the answer to that question is do they really, ultimately
the people of Palestine, whether it's the PLO or Hamas
hate Israel too more than they love Palestine and feel
a sense of worship in Israel's non existence and defeat
and America's next, Because that's the county fact that you

(26:31):
would control the world either through defeat and submission or taxation.
That's one of those Tomorrow will have to take care
of itself compared to today. But a two year war
is over all living hostages have been returned to Israel.

(26:52):
The remains of the twenty eight who didn't survive being
hostages being returned for the family's closure is next. I
don't know about reaching out and aiming for Look, Iran
till they're dying breath is going to carry out this
holy war, and Israel, to their dying breath is never

(27:16):
going to want to embrace friendship with Iran. That's the
mothership of where all these proxy haters and terrorists are
funded and coming from. So I do have a little
glimmer of hope for the Palestinian and Gaza terrorit areas
and people more so than Iran. But that's coming in

(27:39):
the speech, and the President has been mostly very gracious
in giving everybody else praise in this, which I think
is Donald Trump two point oh versus Donald Trump one
point oh. But yeah, to Valerie's points, it is quite
the historic morning Monday, October thirteenth, twenty twenty five. The
hostages have been returned and peace has begun. All twenty

(28:04):
remaining living hostages have been returned. Israelly Prime Minister bb
Neatnyaho is both thankful and congratulatory to our President Donald Trump.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
Donald Trump is the greatest friend that the State of
Israel has ever had in the White.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
House, and certainly gave him full credit for negotiating the
deal that is now a reality.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
We welcome you here to thank you for your pivotal
leadership and putting forward a proposal that got the backing
of almost the entire world, a proposal, a proposal that
brings all our hostages home.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Danya, who says today can be seen as the start
of something new for the Middle East.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Mister President, you are committed to this piece. I am
committed to this piece, and together, mister President, we will
achieve this piece.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
This one final statement.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
I've never seen anyone move the world so quickly, so decisively,
so resolutely as our friend, President Donald J.

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Trump. Meanwhile at home, police in South Carolina are investigating

It's a historic Monday, October thirteenth, twenty twenty five. Hamas

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Why do you think America Vespucci doesn't get as much
recognition as Christopher Columbus?

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Ask that, well, that has always been a very debated
question within the Italian American community. May I just acknowledge
that both were Italian using the Spanish. There was some
Portuguese help on the Spucy side as well. I guess

(32:21):
the big difference is we get the name America from America.
I guess you know, it has a lot to do
with one having an intellectual capability and the knowledge that
this was not Asia. Columbus thought it was Asia, so
there was some confusion. But he's a little bit more

(32:42):
famous because of the colonization and the back and forth
from Europe. So they should both be acknowledged. And I
don't know why we can't do two things at once.
So I will get to Phillip after the break. Chris
Walker's going to join us. The Democrat Attorney general candidate
