Speaker 1 (00:00):

in Washington, d C. We'd love to have you listen

morning routine. But better late than never. Enjoy the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Starting your morning off right. A new way of talk,
a new way of understanding. Because we're in the studild
This is your.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Morning Show with Michael Bill.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Charny seven minutes after the hour. Good morning, and welcome
to Friday, November the seventh of Our Lord, twenty twenty five. Monday,
on this show, Leanne Morgan. If you haven't caught her
Netflix series Leanne, It's funny and she's out with her
new stand up routine on Netflix as well. She's gotten
very famous since we last visited. Look forward to talking

(00:55):
to Leanne on Monday. Don't forget third hour this morning
Friday with forty seven thousands of flights are being canceled
across America starting today as the FAA makes cutbacks. As
we were talking with our national correspondent, Roy O'Neil yesterday,
just as we presumed, it's ten percent of flights, but
the forty busiest hub airports, Rory, something tells me that's

(01:16):
a much bigger impact than just one in ten. Well, right, And.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
What we are hearing as well is that this is
a phased approach. So today it's a four percent cut.
By Tuesday, at six Thursday, it's eight percent. Next Friday
it's at up to ten percent. Hopefully by then perhaps
there can be a deal that will avoid all.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Of that escalation.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
But as of today, about eight hundred and fifty flights
have been canceled as of this morning according to flight Aware.
But as you mentioned, when you're involving these hub airports,
the really no airport is going to escape these kind
of cutbacks, and the airlines are struggling. The advice is
if you're traveling between now and Thanksgiving, because let's face it,

(01:56):
if this gets into the holiday travel sept.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
That's the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
But between now and then, make sure you have your
airlines app make sure the notifications are turned on, because
your flight may go from nine a m. To nine
pm and you may not like that. And there are
some protections out.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
There looking over this, who's who of hubbs? You have Chicago, Midway, Chicago, O'Hare,
I'm not going to list everyone, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta.
You know, when we say Houston, it's Hobby, it's also
George Bush Houston. I mean, so a lot of these
are multiple, like DC for examples, Baltimore, Washington, it's also Dulles,

(02:36):
it's also Reagan National. I mean, it's just Phoenix. I'm thinking,
you know, as a Southwest flyer, this is all the hubs.
I mean, Salt Lake City is every hub you can imagine,
Boston on the East coast. So yeah, there's gonna be
no no avoiding this. It's gonna it's going to impact you. Now,
if we get a deal, is how quick things get
back to normal?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
It could ramp up rather quickly again, as these air
trames afric controllers can come back to work, a lot
of them are forced to go get other jobs. Right,
there's no money to put food on the table, there's
no money to put gas in the car. They're out
there delivering pizzas because they have to get some cash
as they haven't been paid for a month.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I know a lot of America can armshare quarterback this
and be critical, Well, the average salary. First of all,
these people train and work very hard. It's very stressful.
They earn every penny just like the rest of America.
And we should all do this. I mean, you should
be funding your retirement and you should be funding your
rainy day six months. That can cover everything. You know,

(03:36):
that's everybody's you know, responsibility. But you know, like the
rest of America, we've been paying for inflation with that
and we're in debt. So, I mean, it's easy for
everybody to be critical. But you know, the question to
end that conversation is what if you didn't get a
paycheck for a month starting now? House things look at
your house. So but this is what you oh, and

(04:00):
this is what usually brings an end to these kinds
of government shutdowns. Is this one gon right?

Speaker 4 (04:06):
And it may be the tipping point because, as I've
always joked, these members of Congress are also members of
frequent flyer clubs. They are big travelers themselves, and this
may be the tipping point for them. You add the
snap benefit controversy into the mix, and just reports about
how federal workers are struggling or work struggling on the
first of the month to make that mortgage or rent payment. Yeah,

(04:29):
these stories are hitting home, and these members are being
paid while their staff members are not, which has got
to make for some awkward time at the office.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Ory's going to be back in the third hour. President
Trump has announced that new regulations are going into effect
that will dramatically reduce the cost of popular weight loss drugs.
I have this clip from RFK Junior to put it
into cumulative perspective for you. Lit We'll lose the American
public because of this agreement. We'll lose one hundred and

(04:58):
twenty five million pounds on hundred and twenty five million
pounds by one hundred and twenty five million pound life.
We're kind of remembering Nancy Pelosi. I can't redo in
you know, everything every hour I tried to be the

(05:22):
highest way I could analyze this was I thought of
Nancy Pelosi compared to Tip O'Neil two people. Clearly, I
don't share a worldview with two people. Clearly I don't
share policy views with I remember one far more fondly
because one wasn't about partisan power only ultimately, it was

(05:45):
about making America safer. More prosperous, an ability to work
with a president or a Senate leader, no matter what
their political affiliation. The latter did not. In fact, it
gets worse for Nancy Pelosi. She'll probably be remembered for

(06:06):
doing better in the stock market than any hedge fund
or Wall Street itself, ushering in a new level of
hatred when she disrespected the office of the presidency by
ripping up the president's State of the Union address, the
famous quote from Obamacare, we have to pass this bill

(06:26):
in order to find out what's in it, losing control
of the squad which has now turned into a socialist
Islamist movement January sixth. I think is the most divisive,
despicable thing that she did. And I just ended it
this way because I try not to in life. If

(06:46):
I have nothing good to say, I say nothing at all.
I get paid to say something, I say it this way.
This is the kindest way I can say it. I
wonder what the sixty five year old Nancy Pelosi would
say to the eighty five year old Maybe we should
have left a long time ago. She did more than
rip apart her legacy. I think she's done a lot

(07:06):
to rip apart America. So we invited you, using the
talkback button on your iHeartRadio app, to be a part
of this conversation, and we're asking you your thoughts on
Nancy Pelosi finally retiring.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I judge Nancy Pelosi by the way she represented her
own city of San Francisco, and we know how that
turned out.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Shut up.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
My mom always told me, if you couldn't say anything nice,
don't say anything at all. But I'll give you three names,
Jonathan Gruber, Nancy Pelosi, and Obama. If it wasn't for
those three millions of people wouldn't be scraping and saving
just to pay for healthcare.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Shut up.

Speaker 8 (07:47):
Maybe Pelosi retired so she could be in the new
Gremlins movie. However, she doesn't like the script, so she
rips it up and because she's c mail now, she
plays the part of Stripe's great great granddaughter, and on
a Sunday she demands that Paul gets her ice cream
at eleven h She forgot about the time change and

(08:07):
it's really twelve twenty and that's what changes her.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Shut up.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
But I remember about Nancy Pelosi. She was pretty hot
when she was young. She was no she was she
was I you know, I would be lying if I said,
you know, I always whenever I think of Nancy. Plus
I do remember that picture of her with jfk Ay,
just to remind everybody how long she's been around. But yeah,
Nancy Pelosi when she was young. This is very Italian

(08:34):
of me. But the expression breath taking comes to mind.
She was really one of the more beautiful young women
you would ever lay your eyes.

Speaker 9 (08:40):
As Rodney Dangerfield would say, she was great before electricity.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
You were something back in sixty five. But no, on
a serious note, I really think, Look, I'm not going
to be on the radio in eighty five because who knows.
I mean, I hang around nursing homes. We're in a
phase of life. We're both of our moms are, you know,
in need of very extensive care. So I'm seeing people

(09:06):
actively dying every day. I'm seeing people in cognitive decline
every day, and there is no age you can put
on it. Some people are sharp and busy and walking
around today eighty five. Some people are bedridden getting their
diapers changed, all right, But you just can't stay that long.

(09:29):
I mean I had mentioned that I had noticed recently.
I mean, she's the weight loss Nancy Polosi has never
had a very good heart or filter. But it's really
it looks more nursing home to me. So, but I
think Nancy Pelosi's stayed too long. If Nancy Pelosi had

(09:52):
late left at seventy, for example, I think she'd be
remembered very differently. Now news media will just that's how you.
The first woman Speaker of the House ever is retiring.
So if you want to say, if you have nothing
good to say, and you want to say nothing at all,
just say, well, she was the first woman speaker. I
like to have more meaningful conversations, like, Okay, she's not

(10:15):
any more partisan than Tip O'Neil in terms of, you know,
loyalty to the party. The difference is tip O'Neill put
America first. She didn't. And what the latter years prove,
she put herself first, and she didn't just hate the
other side and didn't make it all about her party.

(10:37):
She lost control of her party and she divided the country.
I don't have anything really good to say about this woman.
And if we remember accurately from January sixth, and whether
they wait for her to die or not, the truth
will come out that was a trap she set and
Trump walked into it. It's an insurrection she wants wanted

(11:00):
to happen, an insurrection that was created by theater in
order to pin on a president. These people don't care
about a government of formed by the people. They care
about their power. And the longer you're fighting and they're
in control. I mean, we joked earlier, but I mean it.

(11:20):
She could probably empty her office after all these years
with a single box, but it'll take three Brinx trucks
to bring her money back home to California. But you
can keep remembering. And if you're like that one guy
and make me laugh till I choke, that's a fun Friday,
in my opinion. Listen, history shows that every market falls

(11:43):
and every currency collapses. Today in America, the dollar's shrinking
trillions thirty seven to be exact, trillion dollars in debt.
We have record high markets to find gravity, but stocks
can't go up forever. Meanwhile, groceries, housing, transportation costs, they're
all rising. And your dollar it's buying less every day,

(12:08):
So with them when the crash hits, your stocks won't
bail you out. Dollars won't bail you out. Only one
thing will gold. Gold has always survived. That's why the
central banks are buying gold by the ton. Billionaires are
stocking up even everyday. Americans are protecting their savings in
retirement with physical gold. Don't wait for the headline. Don't
wait for the panic. That's too late. Call Dear Capital

(12:31):
now eight hundred and five, one thirty seven hundred. Get
your free gold investment kit. Protect your wealth with real
physical gold. And with over three billion dollars in trusted
transactions and thousands of five star reviews, Lear is your
trusted source. Call. You could even get up to fifteen
thousand dollars in bonus gold with a qualified purchase Lear
Capital one eight hundred and five to one one thirty

(12:52):
seven hundred five one one thirty seven hundred. That's one
eight hundred five, one thirty seven hundred call Lear Capital
to date.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
This is your Morning Show with Michael del Chno.

Speaker 10 (13:04):
I'll always remember Nancy Pelosi were constantly shifting her enters around.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Shut up, that was it all got ugly at the end.
Your morning show audience, remembering Nancy Pelosi, who has announced
her retirement she will not seek election. In twenty twenty six,
President Trump had this response.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Trump made his comments from the White House after being
asked about the former Speaker of the House's decision to
not run for reelection.

Speaker 11 (13:28):
I think she did the country a great service by retire.
I think she was a tremendous liability for the country.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
Trump called Pelosi an evil woman who cost the country
a lot. Trump and Pelosi have been political enemies going
back to Trump's first term.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Pelosi made the announcement in a video. I'm Markneyfield. Yeah,
that's one of things she'll probably be remembered for ripping
up the State of the Union address. Such a disrespect
to the president. It really kind of ushered in a
partisan level of disrespect and hatred that has done more
than divide the parties, divided the country. Unfortunately, she stayed
around so long that lining her pockets on Wall Street

(14:06):
that January sixth a lot of bad things will be
here legacy that could have been avoided if she left
at a reasonable retirement age.

Speaker 11 (14:13):
Well.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Stay thirty eight of the longest government shut down in
American history, and starting today, thousands of flights are being
canceled as the FAA makes cuts at the forty oh
busiest hub airports.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Comes as air traffic controllers and TSA agents continue to
work while not getting paid. The Secretary of Transportation says
the flight reductions are aligned with putting safety first. Also
in focus, on day thirty eight food assistants, a federal
judge in Rhode Island ordered the Trump administration to pay
full November snap benefits by today, saying people have gone
without for too long. The Trump administration has given notice

(14:45):
that it will appeal. I'm Tammy Trihio Well.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
The Senate is voted against legislation that would require President
Trump to get congressional approval for US military action against Venezuela.
Jim Roup joins US with that report.

Speaker 9 (14:57):
The lipartisan resolution failed forty nine to five fifty one,
with Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Kentucky's Rand Paul
joining forty seven Democrats who.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Voted for the measure.

Speaker 9 (15:07):
The vote follows more than a dozen strikes against alleged
drug trafficking boats that have killed at least sixty six people.
Last month, Trump rejected the idea of getting congressional approval, saying, quote,
We're just going to kill people that are bringing drugs.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Into our country. End quote. I'm Jim roup. Probably the
most important thing. Don't ever feed him after midnight.

Speaker 9 (15:29):
Wow, Paul, are great?

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Great Christmas present? Not this Christmas or next, but the
one after that. The Gremlins is returning to theaters. Warner
Brothers Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that the third installment
of the franchise will be released in twenty twenty seven.
Steven Spielberg is going to be returning as executive producer.
The Great Chris Columbus will direct. Oh, this is going

(15:57):
to be special. The original Gremlins was released in nineteen
eighty four and made two hundred and twelve million dollars
at the worldwide box office. Well this is I guess
what you would say is proof there's a podcast for everything.
A new podcast is being dedicated to The Doors. Really.

(16:19):
The Doors will be hosted by writer Naomi Frye and
it'll include guest appearances from Billie Idola and The Doors
drummer John Densmore. Fry says that her goal is to
look at the Doors with a a sort of straw moment,
to avoid the sort of strang moment, and look at
it through a wider lens, trying to work that word

(16:40):
in hy all week long dumb homes. They're making a
comeback in America today. Bree Tennis says that story. Next hour,
Leanne Morgan from the very popular show Leanne on Netflix
and out with a new stand up comedy special as well.
We'll join us on Monday, and next hour we'll have
Friday with forty seven and next half hour on the

(17:01):
retirement of Nancy Pelosi.

Speaker 10 (17:04):
I'm actor jeff E Howard and my morning show is
your Morning Show with Michael del Jorno aka Peza Boy.

Speaker 1 (17:20):

(17:41):
twenty twenty five on the air and streaming live on
your iHeartRadio app. This is the show that belongs to you.
This is your morning show. Thousands of flights being canceled
across America starting today, as the FAA begins cuts at
forty airports, they will gradually get their way to ten
percent of the flight's cut. But these are all the
major hubs. Ankow on much longer as we get closer

(18:02):
to travel season, which is Thanksgiving through New Year's. The
first and only woman to serve as Speaker of the
House is not running for reelection. Nancy Pelosi eighty five
announces finally she will retire. The Brinks trucks will help
her bring her money back. She's the only one from
far West that found the gold rush in our nation's
capital out east. We'll have more on that in just

(18:24):
a moment with John Decker. The New York Post's first
issue after Zoron Mundani won the election premiere. We talked
about it. It was brilliant. It had the communist sickhole and
it said on your Marx spelled like Karl Marx. Get set.
Welcome to the big red apple. That is very hard
to find, and if you've got one, it's worth big

(18:46):
bucks now. Emails at Michael d adiheartmedia dot com. I
got this one from Grant. This is an AI narrated
weekly video publication on the channel mind World on YouTube.
Whoever is the channel creator is quite advanced in scientific knowledge.
This past weekend submission regarded cloning and the future of

(19:06):
genetic engineering, and the very topic that you and Kevin
Surrilli were talking about this morning. Check it out. By
the way, if you missed that interview with Kevin Sirilli.
That's why we have the podcast. This one is Michael.
Due to the time change, it has chopped off the
last hour of your show. Here at KFYI and Phoenix.

(19:28):
In the winter, we hear three to six am, but
now your show starts at four and we only get
four to six. Obviously, many people have contacted us from
Phoenix wanting us to do Friday with forty seven early.
Because of this, no can do. But that's why we
have the podcast. Just search your Morning Show into your

(19:51):
iHeartRadio app and it'll pop up. Then give it a
nice little preset and I'll be waiting for you every morning,
nine Central ten Eastern. The podcast. It's always available to
this and at your Laisia your Laysia as you want
to catch up over the weekend. You'll also find the
podcast link on our website. Your Morning Show online dot Com.
All right, we've brainstormed a lot of things. This time

(20:12):
belongs to John Decker. She was one of the most influential,
polarizing figures in Washington. After more than thirty years in Congress,
Nancy Pelosi announced she is not running for re election.
There is the Nancy Pelosi legacy, probably the first eighteen years,
and Nancy Pelosi the legacy of the last twelve. And

(20:32):
I'm sure it'll be in the eye of the partisan beholder.
But John Decker's been covering the White House in Washington
for eight presidential terms, and he joins us, Now, I
know the President didn't have a fond remembrance of Nancy Pelosi,
but how will she be remembered? No, he didn't.

Speaker 10 (20:47):
He was asked to comment on the fact that Nancy
Pelosi's not running for another term. As the pool was
leaving the White House, Oval authors yesterday the President maybe
you played the clip already. Michael did not have high
words for her, called her evil actually in his comments. Look,
she's an historic figure, the first woman, the only woman
Speaker of the House in our history, and she ruled

(21:11):
the House of Representatives in terms of corralling the Democratic
caucus with an iron fifth.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
She got them in line.

Speaker 10 (21:17):
I think that's one of the things that even Republicans
respected her for, was the fact that she could get
the Democratic Caucus to back anything that she wanted them
to back. And that's the reason, even when Democrats had
a very narrow majority, they stuck together. They voted in unison,
they voted with unity, and that was successful in terms

(21:38):
of moving, for instance, the Affordable Care Act through the
House of Representatives at a time in which there were
some Democratic members that really put their political careers on
the line by voting.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
For that legislation. Well, she also had the famous quote,
we have to pass this bill in order to find
out what's in it. Well, we're finding out subsidies are
in it, or it doesn't exist, or the premiums are triple.
Do you think we'd have a different view of Nancy
Pelosi had she done you know, the retirement thing nine
eleven years ago. I don't know.

Speaker 10 (22:08):
Again, like you said, it's all in the eyes of
the beholder. She is and was revered in the Democratic caucus.
You know, even Nuke Gingrich, who is not a big
fan of the policies that Democrats have put forward in
all of the years that Nancy Pelosi has served in Congress.
Even he acknowledged that she is a historic figure in

(22:30):
our politics, and she was respectful of what she was
able to do in corralling her caucus to stick together.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Yeah, but here's the problem with that. You know, I'm
a pretty balls and strike sky, as you know. But
I thought when the announcement came yesterday, my first thought
was Tip O'Neil, And I thought of how I think
of Tip O'Neil and how I think of her, And
I don't have anything in worldview or policy view in
common with either. But one ultimately worked with the Senate

(23:00):
and with the White House, regardless of its party, and
ultimately put the country first. The latter ripped up a
State of the Union address, lost control of the squad
within her part. I mean there's more to it. I'm
not so certain that she won't be remembered for Wall
Street and insider trading as well. I mean, you can
stay too long, and I think that's what makes it.

(23:21):
I wonder what a sixty five year old Nancy Pelosi
would someday wisely say to the eighty five year old,
And I think it might be I wish we had
left ten years earlier, but we'll see. Well, she served
thirty seven years.

Speaker 10 (23:33):
That's such an incredibly long amount of time. Thirty seven
years in the House of Representative and for some, as
you point out, maybe she is, you know, sort of
the poster child for term limits and why there should
be urn liaments. So that's an awful long time to
serve anywhere. And she served most of those years in
the leadership of the House of Representatives. So that's the

(23:54):
reason why Democrats are going to miss her. Although you know,
she stepped back from the leadership and the last term
she was just a rank and file member representing her
constituents in San Francisco, and that's what she will do
as she finishes out her final term in Congress.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yeah, they all stayed with well passed life expectancy. Some
of e them come home past life expectancy and run
for governor. At least she's going to retire and enjoy. However,
long back home, real quickly. That was a major announcement
yesterday on the weight loss drugs, which is about this
time yesterday. A listener was asking U, so what do
we think it's going to be, and we thought that's
what it was, and it was when Robert Kennedy talked

(24:31):
about the millions of pounds lost by this time next
year could have a huge impact.

Speaker 10 (24:37):
Well, that's a good thing. I mean, I don't know
how you can criticize that. That's a good thing. Lowering
the cost of many prescription drugs, not just these two
popular weight loss drugs is also a good thing. And
I think that what you're seeing the President really concentrate on,
especially after the results of Tuesday's elections, is concentrate on
affordability issues. That is something that both parties will try

(24:59):
to focus as they each gear up for the midterm elections,
which will happen this time.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
If America it becomes less sobs, it becomes less diabetic,
I mean, try to put the pen to the numbers
of what this could save in terms of the healthcare
cost problem alone. Very big announcement missed by many yesterday.
The bigger announcement we just covered. If you want to
know everything going on in Washington, The White House Briefing
Room is a podcast with John Decker, and it comes

(25:24):
your way nine eastern, eight am Central. Notice I embargo
him until I'm off the air. I don't want him
hurting my listening audience. But it's a great daily podcast
with John and it's coming up eighth Central, nine Eastern
later this morning. The White House Briefing Room. Thank you, John,
have a great weekend. I love you. My brother too.
Somewhat hit that news scene, of course, we played the

(25:48):
clip of Nancy Pelosi. We'll play it again. She's gone,
and here's what the President said.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
Trump Maddy's comments from the White House after being asked
about the former Speaker of the House's decision to not
run for reelection.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
I think she did the.

Speaker 11 (26:01):
Country a great service by retender. I think she was
a tremendous liability for the country.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
Trump called Pelosi an evil woman who costs the country
a lot. Trump and Pelosi have been political enemies going
back to Trump's first term.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Pelosi made the announcement in a video. I'm Marknyfield. Thousands
of flights are being canceled across to America starting today,
and they will increase over the next three to four
days as the FAA makes cuts at the forty busiest
airports in our nation.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
Four percent of flights will be cut today and that
percentage will increase every day until it hits ten percent
next week. This comes as air traffic controllers continue to
call in sick while not getting paid during the shutdown.
The Secretary of Transportations says he's putting safety first as
the longest federal government shutdown in history continues. It's now
in day thirty eight. I'm Tammy Trichillo.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
When we go through that list of airports, it's just
a who's who of hubs. Indianapolis, Chicago, Midway, Chicago, O'Hare, Minneapolis,

Ronald Reagan, Washington, National out West, Denver, a huge hub, Phoenix,
a huge, huge hub, Los Angeles. I don't have to
tell you it's a big hub in Salt Lake City
or huge hubs. So hubs have a much bigger effect
on your connecting flights. So this will become more and
more problematic, and this is usually what ends government shutdowns.
We'll see if it has that impact moving forward. The

(27:37):
Senate has voted against legislation that would require President Trump
to get congressional approval for US military action in Venezuela.

Speaker 9 (27:44):
The bipartisan resolution failed forty nine to fifty one, with
Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Kentucky's Rand Paul joining
forty seven Democrats who voted for the measure. The vote
follows more than a dozen strikes against alleged drug trafficking
boats that have killed at least six six people. Last month,
Trump rejected the idea of getting congressional approval, saying quote,

(28:05):
We're just going to kill people that are bringing drugs.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Into our country. End quote. I'm Jim roup Well, Nancy
Pelosi's not the only one saying farewell. Never could hit
that note. Journey is going to begin its long, slow
goodbye with fans next year. The iconic rock band announced

(28:29):
that will kick off the first leg of their final
Frontier tour in February. First show is set to take
place February twenty eighth and Hershey, Pa. The band will
play sixty dates in North America, including stops and Nollins Austin, Washington, DC,
before wrapping up on July second in Laredo, Texas. More
cities are expected to be added later at tickets pre sale.

(28:49):
Well that starts on Tuesday. Well, we're going old school
today on our national day. I mean, I'm talking John
Hancock old school.

Speaker 12 (28:58):
It's national fountain pandemic, a chance for you to be
fancy and your letter writing. You still do that right.
We've been using the fountain pen since three thousand BC,
and in that time they still haven't figured out how
to prevent smudging or inkwell spills. But they are regal
and pilot Pin says about one hundred million are sold
every year. A fun fact, they are the original pen.
I can write upside down. I'm bree Tennis.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Well, it's a tragedy what they've done to al Michaels.
Would they make him and kerb Street sit through and
would they make that pre and halftime show try to
make a big deal of them. It's criminal. And last
night was another stinker of stinkers. Thursday Nights stinker Football.
Broncos by three over the Raiders on the ice, the

(29:42):
Blues shut out the Sabers three nothing. In Buffalo, pres
lost three one of the Flyers. Lightning doubled up the
night six to three, Kings lost five two to the Panthers,
and the Ducks seven five over the Stars on the
Hardwood forty points in the third quarter. That was enough
for the Suns to coast buy the Clippers one fifteen
one oh two birthdays to today, Joni Mitchell. I'm gonna

(30:08):
go with the favorite Jonny Mitchell song ever? What was
the one? Oh? Big Yellow Taxi is most people's favorites,
but mine was? Who was the one?

Speaker 10 (30:27):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
I'm both sides now? I loved both sides now. In fact,
she did an older remake version when she was older
that they used in the movie Love Actually, which is
even more haunting and even better. But there's another one
that was a huge hit. How am I blank? I
played this song till I was sick of it in
oldies radio. Hell me, I think I'm falling in love.

(30:52):
I'm gonna go with that as my favorite. Joni Mitchell,
Lady two years old today, that was a long way
to go. Let me tell you something, the older you get,
it's like playing password with yourself. This smility sets in
his password. I got to give myself clues to get
to these things, and my producers don't help. Red. How's
that toast? I know you've been enjoying it for thirty

(31:13):
minutes for crying out loud. Jony Mitchell is the category
not a fan. Did I mention Joe Oony Mitchell is
eighty two years old. Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Burrell
Pat Day is my all time favorite jockey shoemaker. But
Calvin Burrell's up there my top five fifty nine years
old today. And from the Righteous Gemstones he was also
in Modern Family, wasn't it Modern Family he was in

(31:39):
as well. Adam Divine very funny and Righteous Gemstones he was.
He was the one with all the gay overtones character
in Righteous Gemstones, which he got increasingly more and more
funny the way they played that so subtly. Adam Devine
is forty two years old today. Here's the bottom line
of It's your birthday, Happy birthday, and we are so
glad you were born. And if you wrote a hit song,

(32:00):
wouldn't remember it anyway.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
It's your morning show with Michael del Journo.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Hey Monday, Leanne Morgan. Boy, has she gotten famous since
I last visited with her. Can't wait to catch up
with her. We'll talk Monday Morning about her new stand
up special on Netflix. Not to mention her new show Leanne,
which I think is spectacular and I don't just say
that because I know Leanne. I mean, I think it's
very very We had Tim dalyon when was that about
a month and a half ago. He stars as her boyfriend.

(32:28):
It really is as smart what about cordially invited cordially?
But you have the clip of her. No, I've been
on a klians for three days. Oh wait, make a
fierce water. I can't even make a fus tivy. She
just stole that movie from Will Ferrell and a lot
of other funny people. Leanne Morgan will catch up with
her on Monday and Friday, with forty seven coming up

(32:50):
in mere minutes from now real quickly, only have two minutes.
Nancy Pelosi's gone. She will not seek reelection in twenty
twenty six. She is going to retire. You guys have
been remembering using the talkback line. You know the famous
quote of Nancy Pelosi that will come to mine is
we have to pass it in order to find out
what's in it With Obamacare, I think ripping up the

(33:11):
State of the Union address was disrespectful to the presidency
and it really kind of ushered in a new level
of partisan hatred that has created a great division in
our country, probably doing better at the stock market than
any hedge fund or Wall Street itself. She'll be remembered
for January sixth with the great bait, probably one of

(33:33):
the greatest scandals that I think she'll be remembered for,
whether she likes it or not, and then ultimately for
losing control of her party. I mean, she just couldn't
keep the squad under control, and now it's out of control,
and I wonder what Aqem Jeffries will be without her
moving forward? How do you pull off a hest at

(33:53):
the Louver one hundred and two million dollars worth of jewels? Well,
we get our first glimpse. You can't make this up.
Turns out the password for the video surveillance at the
Louver was louver. I mean really. And then if you

(34:15):
think of it like a chess game, well, Mom, Donnie
is a pond going forward today the Republicans respond with
a pond, a pond to go forward and meet her,
and that's at least staphonic announcing her run for New
York governor. Why is this a chess move? Because the
only way he can do everything he's pandered and said

(34:37):
he would do in the name of socialism and redistribution
would be to raise taxes. And he can only do
that if the governor approves it, and if she does,
it's already a razor thin race in the polls. With
her and elist Stephonic, they may get a mayor but
lose a governor. All the political partisan chess game. Two
big moves, Mom, Donnie earlier in the week, Stephanic later today. Anyway,

(35:03):
you're up to being Friday with forty seven is next.
Let's have some fun, after all, that's Friday.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
We're all in this together. This is your Morning Show
with Michael ntel Jorno
