Speaker 2 (00:14):
Two three, starting your morning off right, A new way
of talk, a new way of understanding because we're in
this together.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
This is your Morning Show with Michael Del Choino.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
And Michael del Journal has this week off. Kelly Nash
filling in. This is my final day filling in as
I get ready to start my holiday break. And the
man who never sleeps Age never takes any time off.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Roory O'Neil, you're working hard today.

Speaker 6 (00:46):
Good morning, Hey, they're Kelly happy?

Speaker 7 (00:49):
What day is today?

Speaker 6 (00:50):
It's Blursday, right, happy Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
That's right there.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
You hear about all these Americans who never know what
day of the week it is when they're on these
extend that time between Christmas and New Year's they.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Don't know what day it is.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
It's actually Tuesday, the thirtieth of December, and we're dealing
with a messy United States. A lot of people have
their power outs, a lot of people struggling with travel today.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
They are, by the way, we call it Blursday, I
think whenever, and we're right about it for the next
week or so.

Speaker 7 (01:19):
But yeah, this storm system, I think the Weather Channel.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
Has named it Ezra, has really caused big problems, especially
now in Pennsylvania, upstate New York as well. A lot
of that Lake effect snow is falling it. As you said,
this is happening during one of the busiest travel times
of the year. So while Michigan, for instance, is dealing
with about fifty thousand customers with no electricity, New York

(01:43):
state has about twenty thousand who are in the dark
during some bitter cold temperatures as well. We're currently looking
at about one hundred and fifty different flight cancelations, but
about four one hundred rather nine hundred and forty delays
already reported at airports across the so we know how
tight that airline network is. One little blip seems to

(02:04):
throw everything off, and it looks like there are a
lot of bad blips today, especially in the Pennsylvania upstate
New York. It'll move out to Boston also today where
wind gusts are expected to top fifty miles per hour.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Yeah, and yesterday was brutally cold as the temperatures were
dropping dramatically, and these poor people without power.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I can only imagine what it was like for them.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
How About on the West Coast, I remember over the weekend,
I think they said that some of the mountain areas
got like four feet of snow.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Right They've been seeing some record snowfall, even by their standards.
That's saying something with the huge I've got friends out
in Lake Tahoe right now.

Speaker 7 (02:44):
Who are enjoying it, and that's why they went out there.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
But this has also been a rain maker for parts
of southern California.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
They don't need any more rain.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
They've already got threats of mud slides as a result.
You know, they started the year with those terrible wildfires
in southern California. It looks like they're ending it with
some severe flooding. They've got another three to four inches
that could be falling in the LA area in the
next thirty six hours.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
And what a mucky mess that has becoming. Then you
got the rose Ball.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
They're saying that it would be the first time in
twenty years if the game is played on a wet field,
so that might be historic, I suppose.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Yeah, And poor Ryan Seacrest, the tips on his frosted
hair will be frosted even more because some cold weather expected.
With those blustery conditions continuing in Times Square for the
big ball drop for New Year's Eve, they are expecting
the conditions to improve a bit, but still remain windy
and really chilly for the.

Speaker 7 (03:40):
Time for the folks at Times Square.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Well, Rory, if people need to travel today or tomorrow
or whatever, they certainly need to be checking with the
airports and even just the roads make sure that they're passable.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
Yeah, especially the Detroit area, Michigan, Minnesota all have really
bad road conditions. They need another extra day to clean
things up. But yeah, this really is slowing down a
lot of the holiday travel. Again, I'm nearly three million
people expected at airports today and things could get on
a hand pretty quickly if these winds stayed this strong.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Well, appreciate the update, Rory. We'll be back with you
a little bit later on today. Talking about the government shutdown.
That's a potential government shutdown. That is one of those
things where I think most Americans recognized by now we
don't want a government shutdown, so hopefully we can avoid it.
We'll get an update from Rory on that in the
next hour. In the meantime, we were talking about the

(04:37):
winners and losers, and also we were talking about the
California wealth tax. Ilhan Omar may find herself not that
she's a billionaire on paper, but if you've seen the
financial disclosures, ilhan Omar has had a dramatic upcre increase
in her net worth since twenty twenty. She has gone

(04:59):
from having at worth of somewhere like back in twenty
twenty it was somewhere around fifty to sixty thousand dollars,
then got into the one hundred thousand plus. Now they're
talking about she maybe have a net worth of thirty
million dollars. That is incredible. How did that happen? And
she's on television all over the placing. I'm not a millionaire.

(05:20):
I don't have millions of dollars. This is based off
of her husband, not her brother husband.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
That was another guy.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
That was Ahmed Hersey, who was allegedly her brother who
she married I think twice. She married him twice if
I remember right. And then now she's married to another
guy and that guy that she got married to co
founded a company and I think it's called rose Lake Capital,

(05:48):
and they have apparently been doing very well. According to
their disclosures, rose Lake Capital LLC now has a valuation
of twenty five million dollars. They've also got a winery
that's very She she congratulations to the Omars on their

(06:09):
winery and that's got a valuation of about five to
six million dollars, putting her net worth at about thirty
million dollars. And people were wondering, how did this happen?
How did your husband go from almost no experience in
the investing field, nothing happening, to all of a sudden

(06:32):
his business, Rose Lake Capital, he marries you, and suddenly
Rose Lake Capital LLC just takes off. How does that happen?
Could it be fraud? Could it be insider trading? I
don't know who am I to say. I know that
there'll be some people investigating that. That allegation will be

(06:55):
thrown around repeatedly over the next few weeks and months,
so Ilhan Omar will have to go on the defensive
regarding that. And an update in Minnesota. The school, remember
the school that we were talking about, yesterday and everybody
was showing the video they missed spelled learning and they
called it a leering center. And we've had numerous TV

(07:19):
crews out there since Nick Shirley did the YouTube video
last week on them. Well, yesterday suddenly there were students.
Now I know that they were charging for ninety nine students,
but they did have about twenty kids just bust in yesterday.
Nobody knows who these kids are. The reporters weren't allowed

(07:39):
to talk to them, but they were shocked to see
children arriving yesterday at the leering center. And the leering
center says that they're not sure how the sign was misspelled,
but they are having that corrected as well. So maybe
some slight improvements for the folks of Minneapolis thanks to

(08:00):
some of the reporting. Hopefully the fraudsters will be held
accountable and that we were having some discussions about that yesterday.
We really need to see some people go into jail again.
There's been like ninety eight people indicted so far in
this and probably plenty more to go. Of the ninety eight,
it's like eighty five or from Somalia, So that's why
it's called the Somalian Fraud scandal and Ilhanomar also from Somalia.

(08:23):
I'm not trying to put two and two together, just
making comments.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
This is your Morning Show with Michael del Chna.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Twenty twenty five. Who are the winners, who are the losers?
What were some of your favorite memories? Let us know
on the talkback feature. This is Kelley Nash filling in
for Michael del Journal today. And it's interesting that, you know,
we talked back in twenty twenty one a lot about
how they were redefining definitions. Definitions got changed in a

(08:59):
big way in twenty twenty and twenty twenty one, and
you know, we can go through a long list of
the definitions that they've changed. But it's very frustrating that
they continue to change definitions. And now we have a
new proposal that is going to make most of you obese,
just the definition is going to be changed.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
So I'm reading this story here.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
This is coming from Harvard and Yale found that vm
I alone significantly underestimates how many US adults have obesity
now exit for right now, where at about forty percent
of US adults are considered obese. And they're saying that
we're underestimating how many people have obesity. So they're saying

(09:50):
this new definition will put seventy five percent of Americans
in the obese category. Three quarters of us are now
in this new definition obese. This is it?

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Is that real?

Speaker 4 (10:09):
I mean, when you walk around, I know that we
look bigger than we used to. But the next time
you're out on the street or in a store or something,
I guess just look at the people that you're shopping with.
Are seventy five percent of them by your estimation? And
again this is just the the eye test. You know

(10:30):
they talk about that in football. Is it an SEC team?
Does that look like an SEC defense? Do they pass
the eye test? Do you think seventy five percent of
people are obese? I mean, I feel like the forty
percent was a good, good enough definition because I don't
feel like more than half of Americans are overweight.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you agree with it.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Now I'll tell you for in my own personal life,
I am considered obese, which is very, very frustrating. And
my doctor knows I'm not obese. My doctor says I
have a body fat percentage of it ranges between like
twelve and fifteen percent, which is considered very healthy. Anything

(11:19):
under eighteen percent is considered healthy. But because I lift
a lot of weights, I'm six' one And i'm over
two hundred, Pounds i'm About i'm usually about two oh
five to two, ten that's considered obese just based off
the height and the weight and THE.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Bmi that's again the.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Fact that when you, know MY uh insurance company talks
to me about you've got to manage your? Weight do
you want me to stop? Lifting is that what you're
asking me to? DO i, Mean i'm not really sure
WHAT i should. Do i'm already at the right fat.
LEVEL i got a thirty four inch, waist But i'm considered,
obese and now you're telling me that with this new,

(12:02):
definition we're all going to be. Obese seventy five percent
Of americans will be obese with this new, definition which
again they're basically trying to add to it.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
The waste. Size i'm trying to figure out all.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
The stuff that they want to add to it just
to make it so that everybody's fat or. Obese, currently
seventy five point two percent OF us adults would meet
the new criteria for obesity using THE bmi and additional
body measurements compared to just forty percent WHEN bmi is.
Reviewed and why does obesity matter in? Reality because it

(12:46):
turns out that about a third to half of the
people that are considered obese have no negative side.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
Effects shouldn't that be the? Goal shouldn't the.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Goal be the Health if somebody's overweight quote unquote overweight
and they don't have high blood pressure and they don't have,
diabetes why is that a?

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Problem i'm just asking.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Questions maybe you're a, doctor maybe you're listening this morning
on your way, in and you're, saying, WELL i can
tell you why that's a, problem And i'd be interested
in hearing.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
It because, again if.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
A third to half of the people that are considered
obese have no negative side effects from, it what difference
does it make if they got a thirty eight inch
waist or whatever it.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
IS i don't know why that would be.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
A, Problem but that is one of the new definitions
as we move into the new, year is that just
know you're all going to be. Fat so when you're
going for Your New year's, resolution do you do new year's?
RESOLUTIONS i don't know THAT i do resolutions per, se
AS i set. Goals but you know they always joke

(13:57):
about how by Around january twentieth it's like ninety percent
of The New year's resolutions have been.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Broken BUT i.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
DON'T i THINK i set goals for the new, year
not necessarily a. Resolution i'm just trying to improve on certain,
things do less of certain. Things But i'm not looking for,
perfection if that makes. Sense Like i'm not SAYING i
will never do this again OR i will always do.
THIS i SAY i, should you, know for, example get

(14:27):
to the. Gym IF i right NOW i, average PROBABLY
i would say three to four days a. Week MAYBE
i should try to get to four to five days a.
Week maybe that would be a. Goal or MAYBE i
eat dessert three days a. Week MAYBE i should try
to have dessert two days a. Week whatever those, Are
those are the. Way it's not a resolution per se

(14:49):
as much as it is a. Goal what do you?
Do how do you go into the new? Year do
you make set yourself some? Goals do you try to
accomplish certain? Things or do you just say you know,
What i'm living. Great my life is awesome as it.
Is there's nothing for me to necessarily change at. All
wouldn't change a, thing love it the way it. Is
god bless.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
You that's. You if that's, you you're just living your
best life right.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
Now.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Congratulations but love to hear your.

Speaker 4 (15:15):

something For, christmas you've got a new iPhone For, christmas
go ahead and download The Ihurt radio app right.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
Now it's free wherever you download.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Apps this Is Your Morning show With michael Del.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Chona we were talking in the last segment about how
they're going to redefine. Obesity according To harvard And, yale
they're coming out with this new thing that would currently
forty percent Of americans are considered. Obese this would put

(16:15):
us the new definition would put us at seventy five
percent of us will be, obese which seems insane to.
ME i don't feel like WHEN i walk around that
when i'm you, know if i'm if you're at the,
airport or you're at the grocery store or, wherever when
you look around that three quarters of the people look
like they're having a health issue brought on by being too.

(16:35):
Fat and THEN i also mentioned the fact that according
to THE, BMI i am. Obese i'm six' one about two,
oh five and because of the height and, The weight i'm.
Considered obese yet at the, same time my body fat
is only somewhere between twelve and, fifteen Percent so i'm

(16:55):
in the very healthy body.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Fat range i've got a thirty four.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
Inch waist but you know when you're filling out insurance
papers and stuff, that, like oh you got a little
obesity issue going, on there mister two five, To, TEN no.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
I don't and.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Now this new definition is going to make even more
of us have. That problem so that's just something to
look forward to in twenty.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Twenty six you're.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
All fat, last, night, yesterday afternoon.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
One of the. Big stories we got a news clip.

Speaker 8 (17:28):
Reports OF a cia led drone strike.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
On a coastal Port.

Speaker 8 (17:32):
In venezuela this would mark the FIRST known us Attack on.
Venezuelan land the target of the strike was a dog
WHERE the us government believed that drugs were being loaded
into boats By a. Venezuelan gang ACCORDING to, cnn sources
there was no one present at the time of the
strike and there were, No casualties so.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
We blew up a doc used a drone Strike. In
VENEZUELA the cia, did that according to, the reports and
no one, was killed but certainly would diminish the ability
to load boats to bring drugs if you don't have
a dock to load. The boats so that, to me

(18:14):
that's that's a common, sense approach and the fact that
nobody died in it. EVEN better, I mean i don't
like to see. PEOPLE die i. Really don't even if they're,
BAD people i don't like to see. THEM die i
understand that sometimes it has to be, that Way but
i'd prefer it if you could just diminish their capabilities

(18:34):
and then perhaps give them another chance to rethink their.
Life's pattern like WHERE am i heading with. My life
i'm currently working for the Cartel in venezuela bringing up
fentanyl and cocaine and other assorted drugs to try to
sell To.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Kill AMERICANS maybe i should rethink.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
My life and this will give you another opportunity when,
you see, you know your place. Of deployment the docs,
blow up gives them. Another opportunity it gives them. A.
PAUSE hopefully i like. That approach But the, Venezuelan thing
i'm actually surprised it has gone as long as. IT
has i actually thought that By now maduro would. Be

(19:17):
out and, You know venezuela was not on a lot
of people's radar as far as. LIKE newsmakers i, would
say in twenty, twenty four at least a Lot, of americans,
you know if you, look, Back though maduro lost that election.
Pretty clearly according to international. Election observers he only got

(19:39):
about thirty percent of. The vote the lady, who won
actually she Got The Nobel peace prize this year and
then she gave It, to trump so she knows how
to play. The Game donald trump is going to try
to help her get back, into office and there's nothing wrong.

Speaker 7 (19:57):
With that.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Listen it if you're, a politician go ahead. And pop
That's What pola. Ticking is she is playing the game,
very well but.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
On a.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Bigger Scale nicholas madua is. A tyrant he is everything that.
They claim. Trump is, an authoritarian a, strong man an
intimidator people who he has. People killed, you know if
you tried to have A no king's Rally, in venezuela

(20:30):
if you went, to that you would be dead or
at the, very minimum. In prison when they talk About no.
King's rallies here IN, the us everybody. Can go everybody
has a. Big time they do whatever, they want, no
pushback because we're not run by. An authoritarian venezuela is a.
Different story they Talked About donald trump didn't want to

(20:53):
leave office. Last, time well, you know as we find Out,
in georgia turns out he.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Was right he Did.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Win georgia georgia officials now admit that was a three
hundred and thirty five thousand votes shouldn't have. Been counted
trump lost by eleven Thousand. In georgia there was some
fishy business going On. In georgia there was fishy business
happening in a lot of these quote unquote. PURPLE states

(21:21):
i Don't think georgia is actually a. PURPLE state i
actually think it's still a. Red state we'll see how
it plays out. Moving forward you do Have two democrat
senators There. In georgia, excuse, me Yeah two. DEMOCRAT senators
i think Is it warnock is up? THIS year i
forget which one is going for has to win reelection.

(21:42):
This year it'll be interesting to see how it plays Out.
IN georgia I think georgia is actually a red state
despite the huge Population.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
In atlanta and that's just the way.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
It goes when you look at, major cities they All,
lean democrat and, you know you got a massive city
making up a big part of the power Population of Georgia.
In atlanta but Back, to Venezuela The united states is
doing the right. Thing here we're trying to restore order
to a country that is in our hemisphere and is

(22:15):
actively participating in. Our demise venezuela is not only shipping
drugs Into The. United, states venezuela according to cartel members that,
we've arrested are here under the Orders Of nicholas madua
in order to do damage To The, united states not just,
through drugs but Through crimes venezuela has basically got a

(22:38):
silent coup going on here In The, united states and
so we're striking back and we're Going to we're going
To Remove. NICHOLAS madua i really thought by, now though
the pressure campaign That the trump's administration to put on
him would have forced, him out meaning that the cartels
themselves would either have forced, him out or the people
would force, them out or the military would force. Him

(23:00):
out somebody would force. Him out and so it has not.
Yet worked so we're going to ramp it up and
make it even more Difficult Than. Nicholas maduro DESPITE the
i don't HAVE do i have the clip of, HIM
singing i don't have? It anymore. Dang it That was that.
Was gold if you haven't heard, him singing, don't worry,
be happy that. Is fantastic he was trying to appeal,

(23:22):
for peace.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
No peace. Just war don't, No peace we don't want.
No war, don't worry, be happy.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
Wearing like a like a a garden hat that my
mom used to wear in the summer when she was out.
Picking tomatoes that's how. He looked, But Yeah nicholas madua
is going.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
To go he is going.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
To go we are going to get a, regime change
but it will not be as Typical The united states
picking the. Next leader it's not going to Be a
Shaw of iran type. Of situation the People of venezuela
already voted for who.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
They want we just got to open it up and let.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Her in and NOW the ci is obviously actively on,
the ground sending in, drone STRIKES but i believe also
participating With the venezuelan military trying to figure out who's
going to be Loyal To nicholas madua and who's going
to be loyal to the, new regime and who's going
to Help The, united states and who's going to help,
the area who's going to help.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
THE region i think we're.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Working this all out, right now and so when, it
happens and it eventually, WILL happen, i BELIEVE and i believe.
VERY quickly i don't think that this is going to
go on. Much LONGER like, I said i'm actually surprised
it's gone on. This LONG but i would say within
the next, Thirty Days nicholas madua is Out in venezuela
and we're going to all.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
Be better everybody will.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Be better the People of venezuela will, Be better the
people Of The united states will. Be better the people
in the Countries between venezuela and here will. Be better do,
You Know like mexico will Benefit From nicholas madua. Going
away so there's a lot to look forward to in.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
That arena This Is Your morning Show with Michael. Del, chona.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Earlier we were talking about the idea that they're redefining
obesity in twenty. Twenty six this Is from Harvard. And
yale they've done a study and about forty Percent of
americans are currently listed. As obese this new definition where
they're going to KEEP the bmi as part. Of it
that's what they're using right now to get Forty percent

(25:29):
americans to. Be obese the new definition will also include
waste size and some, other things and they say that
will put the. Current levels seventy five Percent of americans
will be obese with this, new DEFINITION and i think
that's a. BIT crazy i just don't feel like seventy
five Percent of americans look like they're Obese when i'm, walking.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Around but maybe.

Speaker 6 (25:51):
You do?

Speaker 5 (25:53):
Was it Debbie and arizona's they also got to.

Speaker 7 (25:55):
Talk back This is Debbie.

Speaker 9 (25:56):
From arizona they may be pushing that because they like
to push the ozimpic and the. Golp One Maybe big
pharma saying everyone's, too fat you need to take.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
These, drugs now that is an, interesting concept.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
Thank you you, know what the listeners of your morning
Show with Michael, bel journal we get some VERY high,
iq People as trump, would say.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Oh, you people you're.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Very intelligent we get some of the MOST high iq people. Out,
there yeah that is a clever idea if that's what
they're going. TO push i Remember When elon musk was
still Talking, with TRUMP and i think they've kind of
patched it up a.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
Little bit but back In that, doge era.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
He mentioned in one of the interviews that he thought
it would be a good idea if we just offered
ozembic and what Is It waygov or there's like three
or four of these TYPES of. GLP drugs i guess
we just offered him for Free. To americans because of
the amount of of healthcare costs that are brought on by,

(27:05):
obese people, AND specifically i mean we talked. About diabetes
that is a major. Health issue if, you're diabetic the type,
two diabetes this is the one that's, you know down
south here we say you got. The sugars if you got,
the sugars you got. A problem and we see people
who end up losing limbs because of it and obviously

(27:28):
shortening their lives because, of it or going blind because.
Of it there's all kinds of problems brought on, by
diabetes but also high, blood pressure and the blood pressure
leads to strokes and all kinds of. Other problems so
if you're really, you know when we use the, word
obese that's the, thing though it's like are?

Speaker 5 (27:45):
You fat are?

Speaker 4 (27:47):
You OBEs because as that first, lady said they they
said her husband was fat or he. Was obese, At
sixty i'm six one two. OH five i got a
thirty four, inch waist but my body fat percentages usually
somewhere between twelve and, fifteen percent which would Mean that
i'm in the very healthy range with. Body Fat but
i'm considered obese JUST because i like to. Lift weights

(28:10):
that doesn't. Seem fair and the fact that you're going
to reclassify to get even more people.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
ONTO it i.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Completely understand if we have problems with your health brought
on by too much fat, you're carrying you have the fatty.
Liver disease there's all kinds of problems that come with
too much fat on.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
Your body but just reclassifying as.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Somebody's obese if they're just got big bones or they're strong,
or whatever that doesn't seem very healthy. To me But the,
golp idea that is a unique ANGLE and i would
not put it. Past them it Was de Wi, in
ARIZONA but i would not put It past and that
is a very clever concept to try to force that

(28:53):
upon a Lot, of americans this idea that you need
to get within a certain. Weight range and now, you
know thanks to, modern medicine you have. No excuses you
have no excuses to not weigh what we tell.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
YOU to, weg boy that Just gets.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
I'M oh i hate the idea of government CONTROL and
i can absolutely see that happening kind of like in
the earlier segment we were talking about how many self driving.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Vehicles are on.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
The road we may be living in the final days
of people driving their. Own vehicles it may change in
many of our lifetimes where the government says or not
the government. Per se it would come probably through a
backdoor channel like the insurance companies will no longer offer
insurance to people who drive their, own vehicles because they'll

(29:47):
come to some sort of declaration that the computers do
a better job of driving than, you drive and so.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
They'll just take.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
THAT away i know a lot of people who live
on beachfront properties in. Certain areas they can't get insurance
for their own homes because it's often hit, by storms
and so they've lost. The insurance so a lot of
people stop, building there they stop. Buying, there yeah only
the wealthy will be able to drive their own vehicles in,
THE future, i believe because that is the way.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
It's going.

Speaker 7 (30:17):
You know.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
IT'S interesting i was just looking AT a cnn clip
that they. DID yesterday i don't know why they picked nineteen,
ninety eight but it was nineteen. Ninety eight what did
they think was going to happen in the year twenty?
Twenty five and so what did they? Get right what
did they? GET wrong i shockingly would have gotten this.
Wrong today about the year twenty twenty five and the

(30:40):
year nineteen, ninety eight They predicted americans it was like
sixty Percent of americans believed more people would.

Speaker 5 (30:46):
Shop online than they would shop.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
IN stores i thought that, was True but noah turns
out that the Majority of americans still go to brick and,
mortar stores and on top, of it surveys show that
they actually prefer that over, online shopping so that that.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Will be the case moving forward for a lot of years.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
To come but they also some of the things that
got wrong was that life expectancy would be approaching one hundred.
By now we actually went the wrong way the last.
Few years and, you know if you're somebody, like me
You criticize obamacare. For that you say that the government
getting involved in your healthcare actually made. Things worse.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
It's hard. For me it didn't make. It better let's
just put it.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
That way the life Expectancy for americans before twenty ten
was higher than after twenty ten when the government. Got
INVOLVED and i also point out That The Affordable care
act was specifically passed because we had Thirty million americans
who were uninsured at. The time here we are fifteen,

(31:56):
years later Thirty million americans are.

Speaker 7 (31:58):
Still?

Speaker 5 (31:58):
Uninsured happening?

Speaker 7 (32:01):
Is it how is?

Speaker 5 (32:01):
That possible we've spent all.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
This money and we've affected nobody except made to healthcare worse.
For everybody that is the government way that is the.
Government way and speaking of the, government way we're going
to have to probably break down a little bit more
Of what california's. Proposals are if you, haven't heard this
could be your final day and a half As a,

(32:24):
california resident if you're. Really wealthy we'll explain why that
would be, the case why you might want to get Out,
of california why nobody will want to Move to california
after this.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
New proposal.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
