Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, good morning, Hey, good morning, Tyler.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
How are you.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
I'm doing awesome? How are you?

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh my gosh, so good Son is out. We're feeling
great about you coming into town this weekend. But before
we start talking about your music and all the fun
things that are going on on your tour, have you
got your little boxing workout in for the day.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
You know, I didn't get it in this morning. It
was an early morning. Unfortunately I didn't, but I, uh,
I get something in later today. For sure.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
I love that you do that. I do a little
bit of kickboxing. I'm sure I'm not as competitive as you,
but I am kind of competitive.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Still kind of fun, right, just good to hits up.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
At sometimes you know, it's better than hitting people.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
So I mean, here you go, and we all know,
you know, these days we all have a little frustration.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
So it's good you're taking it out like that. Feels
good and clean exactly.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Of course you also enjoy you know, is that BMX
biking that you do, you.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Know, mainly motocross at the same time, anything with two wheels.
I'm pretty into it, to be honest. I love my activities,
and uh I got quite a few. I got a
pretty long list of things I enjoyed doing, and a
lot of them are on two wheels for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
And it kind of spills over into some of the
other things that you have your fingers in. Can we
talk about hubcaps just for a second.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Of course.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yeah, So I was reading about it and I'm like,
you literally have like hubcaps.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's called hubcaps. So these are literally hubcaps.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Well there, these are caps for your head, but literal hubcaps.
But yes, uh, maybe I should start selling literal hubcaps
as well. But yeah, I've been into I've been in
the hats for a long time, you know, and h
just thought it'd be a fun outlet to get creative
and design my own hats. And then I thought, man,
why not start a company and share it with the world,
And so, uh, that's what we're doing. It's been a

(01:51):
lot of fun and yeah, uh, it's kind of a
new startup for me, but it's a fun outlet to
kind of get creative and do something different.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I love that, you know, because around here we have
a lot of what we would call trucker hats.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Oh yeah, with the fun sayings. So I'm so excited.
That's very country.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I appreciate it. I'm having fun with it.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
And then I mean, you are a busy guy. Now
you just wrapped up hitting all fifty states now in
your career.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, I've been waiting a long time to go to Alaska,
and I got to go about a month ago and
had to blast, had a really good time. It was
a great way to check off that fifty estate. But
it's certainly been on my goals list for a while
since I started traveling, and it's just amazing where music
has taken me. So yeah, to be able to say
that it's pretty.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Cool, it's very impressive. And so you bring up music, duh.
That's why we're talking to you. So excited to have
you in at the rust Belt this Friday night in
East smo Lean. It's going to be a great time.
Let's talk about this new single. We're playing it all
the time. It is so darn catchy, but park it's
such a nice play on words.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Oh, I appreciate it. Yet certainly we've got a lot
of energy. It feels like a cool summer anthem, and
it's certainly one that I love to play live and
yet to hear it on the radio just feels really good.
So thank you. For continuing to show me so much support,
and you guys have been amazing playing my music and
it's you know, now it's in top five, headed hopefully
for number one. So it just constantly reminds me of

(03:20):
how much support I have and how much love. So
thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, we do love you. I love the fact that
you do take the time to write with Caanan Smith,
who you've also signed to a contract with your own company.
I mean, oh, I love Canaan. I've always thought that
guy has a lot of talent.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Me too. He's one of my favorite guys in the
world and honestly an incredibly talented artist and songwriter as well.
So you had to get to work with him on
a regular basis has been a huge gift, and he's
helped me produce my Knee record and he's been a
big part of my life for a long time. So
to get to do music you know and more, you know,

(04:01):
just way has been really really fun.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I love that for you, and you know, just a
little bit more about your new code. This is Halo
music and you've got several really great artists.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
But as you talk about.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Your music, I guess I do want to pull it
back a little bit into your current album, which is strong,
and so now you're working even on more music.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, for sure, you know, I got to keep this
train rolling. I'm a lot of fun and going into
the studio making new music, taking a bit of a
new approach and seeing what we can come up with.
And it's been a lot of fun and got some
songs I'm really really excited about and I can't wait
for the world to hear the new songs. I'm always
writing and you know, usually recording, so it's uh so

(04:47):
i always have something in my back pocket and I'm
excited to show the world what I got.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Well, I don't know how you have time with all
the things that you're doing and the tour that you're on.
And I even read what you're taking flying lessons. Now,
my husband would be so jealous. He wants to fly.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Oh that's cool. Yeah. From time to time, I have
been Yeah, I'm dabbled. I've kind of, you know, dipped
my toe in the water, if you will. But I'm
I'm excited to really dive in later in this year,
maybe even next year. I think I overestimated the time
that I would be actually home with the capacity. Wow.
But it's something that I really, you know, really have
enjoyed and look forward to learning more.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
All right, So I have a couple of questions for you.
They're just off of the top of the head kind
of things, just like this or that. When you're out
fishing or hunting. I mean, do you prefer like duck
blind or deer stand?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Uh? Probably duck blind?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Hmm, okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
And then the other thing I ask, And I just
find this so interesting when you're picking out your favorite
shirt buttons or snaps.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Probably snap?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Oh, now you're talking. I like them because of the
pearl inlays.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I love those.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Well, Tyler, again, I know you're a busy guy. Don't
want to keep you too long today because I know
you're on your way getting everything in order so that
you can wow us on Friday at the rust Belt.
I just want to thank you for spending some time
with us on this little podcast, and thank you for
coming in and entertaining us.

Speaker 2 (06:22):

for the show. You guys, come party with us. It's
