Round Fantasy Football YouTube channel at one pm Eastern every

dot com slash at Late Round FF. So, without further ado,

(00:20):
here's this week's episode.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
All right, welcome in Davy Kitchen alongside JJ JJ how
are you doing today?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Had a horrible, horrible Thursday.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Night of football from like an analysis perspective.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Hey, and I can save that analysis because it's the
first bullet point.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Okay, well we can get yeah, like, yes, it was
a it was a rough night from an analysis perspective.
I've already apologized to patrons this morning. I always just
feel bad whenever I get stuff wrong, like and I
was just really wrong. You know about that game. You
know we'll get into it, But yes, I've I've had
better nights from a from a primetime game perspective.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Honestly, if we can take away this rugged exterior that
I have and I can be just honest, I would
say that's one of my favorite things about you is
that you you care. Like when you get things right, obviously,
it's like a high. But when you get things when
things don't go as you predicted where as you rank them, like,
it like it upsets you. Like it's not like a.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Legitimately I'm watching the game last night, I'm like, you
got to be kidding me. I mean and even like
I'm I'm in a live game banter channel all the
time during games, uh, you know, within our discord. And
I love the Rams defense, Like I loved the Rams
defense last night. I don't know how you couldn't on paper.
They checked every freaking box on paper. But Kyle Shanahan

(02:04):
was in his bag. I mean, he he called an
unbelievable game and he made me look like an.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Absolute warn as someone who was forced because of Kayleb Williams,
I was forced to stream Mac Jones. I was like, oh,
this is a pleasant Like by halftime, he had already
outdone like his whole game projection. So whatever we got
after that.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Was at least at least I did. I did have
Matthew Stafford as a streamer this week, so at least
that that worked out.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, yeah, And I'm still mad that you didn't call
the Kyron Williams uh, you know, eight catch game. How
many catches did he have? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I think he had ten targets in the game. I
mean that that's been real.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
The craziest one of the weirdest parts of this season
is that Kyan Williams is getting by via receiving like
that that's how And look, he's always had that that
in his in his arsenal. It's just that they haven't
deployed him that way, and they haven't had a high
target share for running backs and years. You know, I
don't know where it's at exactly right now, but just
given the way that offense operates, I don't think it's

(03:05):
gonna like that's probably his highest target share slash target
total he's gonna see all season. But it's been a
really weird year for Kien Williams because the things that
we were a little bit nervous about are happening.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Where Blake Korm is getting more work.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
You know, I think last night happened because of the
you know, Blake Hoorm fumbled and then he dropped the
pass and it was just a really bad game for him.
But yeah, I mean, like Kyan's getting there because the
offense is good. I've actually oddly been higher than the
market in my rest of the season rankings with Kien
Williams since the start of the season, basically since like
week two. You know, I was like one or two
running back spots below the market entering the season. But

(03:41):
just a weird year for Kyroen overall.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, I'm I'm hoping that Jarqus Hunter somehow comes out
of this because of the quorum stuff. Anyways, look at
us just trying to withhold our our like our thoughts.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Talking ball, man, Yeah, I can't stop talking ball. That's
oh in my mindset's.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Out right now.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I had to go for a walk today. I was
telling you before we hopped on, I had to go
for a walk. I usually try to get like a
long walk in once or twice a week, you know,
and then I'll ride the bike other days, I'll waitlift
other days.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I tried to move, you know, at least once a day.
And today I was like, I wasn't. I'm not feeling
that good today. I've got some sinus stuff going on,
and so I'm like, all right, I'm just gonna go
for a long walk. And I had to just tune
out everything football. I turned on a podcast about the Challenge,
which is my guilty Pleasure show.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Uh, and and I just I escaped completely.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I was just completely for an hour and like fifteen minutes,
just walked five miles and I felt great. And you know,
now I'm a little bit more energized than I was
this morning because.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
During are one on one this morning, I was kind
of feeling it. I wasn't feeling great.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah I was. I was a little bit nervous. You
were you were kind of like a game time decision.
But you're here. You're toughing it out. We got You're
You're not out like many people are. Uh. Just a reminder,
this is an interactive show. So whether it be during
this show, you know, any comments that you have, any comments,
if it could be like what's up Kitchen from Samir

(05:09):
or Brennan's saying I need a lot of Isaiah Davis
love the Stream Boys, don't let me down MPT saying
never doubt my boy Mac Jones. No, Lie, though I
am scared of Vanderbilt tomorrow, that's that is Uh. I
would be scared of two if I was an Alabama fan.
All Right, So let's Uh, let's just set the table

(05:30):
real quick. We got our weekly rankings, our q and
a chat that's been going off in the you know,
the the banter, the tilting, everything going on the and
the the discord is good. So join us light round
dot com and come hang out with us. It's fun
most of the times. And then also want to shout

(05:52):
out our sponsored draftings DraftKings. You can get in the
description and see where you can deposit, get a five
dollars ticket and play your heart out. As far as dfs,
they got the pick six contests, they got all sorts
of stuff in the promo section as well, So shout
out to DraftKings responsoring show. There's always the qr co

(06:12):
that JJ loves in the corner. And with that being said, JJ,
are you ready because this might be this might be
like the biggest the biggest news that we.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, yeah, today's fantasy news.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
All right, First, JJ, let's talk about that game last night.
Were you upset at all?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
My reaction to that game, WTF is my reaction? I
don't know, man, I mean my if I just were
to brain vomit. I think that Matt Jones is a
capable you know, backup and he's gonna be able to
work in the Shanahan offense. And the one thing that
I think I discounted was sort of his ability to
just just understand an offense and get the ball out

(06:57):
quick and just and just do his job. The Rams
are really good at getting in the quarterback and they
could not get to mac Jones last night at all.
And it's because I didn't see his time, like you know,
average time of throw or to throw numbers, but I
would assume it was pretty low. They just kept running
the same route to Kendrick Bourne and they couldn't stop
it over and over and over again. And that's that

(07:20):
was their game plan. Obviously, they're gonna ride Christian McCaffrey,
and they did ride McCaffrey. But it was just a
really disappointing performance by the Rams defense. I'm disappointed by
what we saw from Blake Korum because obviously he drops
that toss, which I think was still credited to Matthew
Stafford as a fumble because it was never in Korum's possession.
I believe that's the case. But regardless, like he drops

(07:43):
that toss, you know, he drops a screen, you know,
like unlike the next drive or two drives later, I
thought Kyron looked good. I think both of them have
looked pretty good this season. If you watched last night,
you're not necessarily seeing that.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Or thinking that.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
But I, you know, like I, I don't think that
anything's going to really change with Kien Williams usage.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
I know that he fumbled at the goal line.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
He's had fumbling issues, but Sean McVay really likes Kien Williams.
You know, in a I would love to see jarqust
Hunter get run. But I think that this is going
to be sort of a red shirt year, like what
they did with Blake Rn. I know Korm was hurt
a little bit last year, but I don't know. I
think that they are are fine and satisfied with what
they have in that backfield enough, even though they had

(08:24):
kind of questionable plays last night. And then you know,
Puka's doing Puka things. Pooka is to me, the best
player in fantasy football. I think he's the best player
in Dynasty. I'm doing the Dynasty update right now, the
rankings update, and I think he's the one oh one
in Dynasty. Like you you're going, You're you're getting a
historic season from him. I think we all would agree

(08:44):
that he's just going to do that this year as
long as he's healthy. And you can't really put a
price on that.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
And so you're using DeVante Adams to clear out guys
for his one yard touchdown, you know it might just
be his year.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
And the crazy thing is DeVante Adams has been great too, you.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Know, like and he almost had that touched out the end.
I thought like, sure, like he might. I told you
I needed that. But he's been he's been good. If
you think though about that game last night, because I
thought at the end, like the Rams are gonna come
back and win this, right, But you think about how
close it was and all the things that went wrong
for the Rams fumble on the gold line, CARDI being

(09:19):
terrible as far as extra point miss Phil Gold miss
kicking the ball out of bounds, and then the Korum fumble,
like all that stuff that had to go wrong. Mac
Jones like getting hurt and like coming back, like when
his pants got pulled down, I thought, Okay, it's done. Yeah,
you know he's toast.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Yeah you see.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
I mean I think everyone everyone when Mac Jones went
down in that game, was like, oh well, Okay, well
that was fun for you know, three quarters.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
But he went down a couple of times. The first time.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Dude, he thought he looked like his body was had
just gone through like running an ultra marathon or something.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, but he popped, he popped back up. So Ko's I.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Think we're gonna see, you know, them take their time
with rock Perdy. And the nice part about the mac
Jones thing is, you know, I don't know how much
standalone value he's gonna necessarily have because he's a pocket
passer and you know, he's a backup still, and I
do think that they just had the right game plan
in that particular game. They do get Tampa Bay next week, though,
and so I do think you could be a streamer.

(10:22):
But the nice part is that with Ricky Pier saw
Juwan Jennings, George Kittle coming back potentially next week, we
feel better about them in fantasy. So that's good to
have like a very reasonable backup situation in San Francisco
where honestly it's probably like ninety five percent of what
Brock Perdy would do.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
It's really not that big of a difference.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Yeah. Hell also said Return of the Mac game for
Sure of fun. Fact, whenever I broke up with my
first girlfriend, that was my theme song back and.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Seventh your theme song for breaking up?

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Well, I think she broke up with me, but well.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
No, I'm saying like you had a theme song for
actually breaking up, or you're saying those your theme song.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Post break up? Like post breakup?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Yeah, like you were you were coming back.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
And turn Yeah yeah, ladies, you.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Know, so really really cool. Yeah I was.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
You think I'm cool? Now, all right, the let's get
onto lots of injury news. I don't know how much
time we have for all this, but just to kind
of recap where we are in week five and what
the reactions. What's your reaction is? People don't know. The
worst kind of neighbor is a hurt and injured myleak neighbors.
So yeah, you're sad.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
I'm sad.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
I I I you know, he's just one of the
best players in football, and you know I had him
on teams.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
I'm sure everyone listening to to this have them on teams.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I had to of my my best Dynasty team and
my best Redraft team both had my league neighbors.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
And it's you know, that's that's the way it goes
in fantasy football.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
You know, you you hopefully can you know, like I
have Digs stepping in and he's sort of like, let's
hope that he can have this resurgence after the first
month of the season, and we saw it a little
bit last week. But regardless of all that, it's just
really sad Jackson Dart. I wanted to see what we
had in him to, you know, like like to see everything,
you know, with a fully healthy, healthy, uh you know

(12:14):
group and pass catching group, We're not gonna see that. Unfortunately.
I think the Giants offense is just not gonna be
very past friendly.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
You know.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Darius Slayton's fine, Wandell Robinson's fine. But again, I don't
think people are grounding themselves enough to the fact that
this is likely not going to be like a high volume,
lots of passing yards passing offense. Even though I do
like Jackson Dart quite a bit. Uh, They're probably gonna
be pretty conservative with it. And he also runs the
ball to and so you know, I I love what
the Giants are doing. I think that they have like

(12:43):
a really good, like fun offense and good vibes team,
but it sucks.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, it's just a sad thing that we're.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Dealing with with with moleague neighbors.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Okay, then you got the Dolphins. Their offense reaked with
Tyreek being out, and again another one where we we
saw him kind of start to be not like vintage Greek,
but yeah, but like serviceable for your fantasy.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Very serviceable.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
That's the thing that sucks about this is that, like,
you know, I I, for instance, you know, I do
the King's Classic League, and you were there for the
drafts this year in Canton at the Hall of Fame,
and I I drafted two teams. You do a snake
draft and then an auction draft. Who won the Snake
League last year?

Speaker 2 (13:29):
You did? Pal Oh, that's right, you did.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
That's right, Okay, But I drafted Tyreek Hill in both
of them. Not on purpose.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I just I got stuck with him in the auction
and so I wanted to diversify a little bit more.
But I felt good about having Tyreek after you know,
week two ish, week into week three and whatnot. And
I think that the people who faded him are very
lucky that they faded him, because he was going to
be a good value, you know, given he was going
in like mid three, the middle of the third round

(13:58):
into the fourth round in some drafts.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
And and this was just a freak injury.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
It's not some It's not like you were It's not
like you were fading Tyreek Hill because you thought his
knee was gonna detach from.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
His body, you know.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
And so now I think that we're gonna see what
Jalen Wattle's made of. This is the the upside case
for Wattle. I think there's a chance that Wattle could
be a top twenty guy rest of season if things
really hit. But I'm not gonna hold my breath just
because that offensive line still has a lot of issues.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, Malik Washington went for fifty nine dollars in the
out of one hundred Interstach League by mister Ben Gretch.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, I've heard. I've heard that that's been going around.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
I mean, look, I I like Malik Washington. I liked
him coming out really good yak player. When you watch
the Dolphins sometimes when he has the ball, you're like,
he kind of looks a little bit like Tyreek, like
when he when he's when he's doing stuff after the catch. Now,
obviously Tyreek is a better route runner and gets more separation,
and it's just a better wide receiver. Maleak has still

(14:55):
been more of a manufactured touch kind of player, more
of a slock guy. But maybe he he steps up too,
like I got him in some leagues. You know you
could you could have gotten him. I got him off
the waiver wire in some leagues for less than ten bucks.
I mean, people weren't really that aggressive. I personally liked
Malik Washington more than Darius Slayton of the off the
wire this week, just because I think that there's more
of that, like ambiguous upside. We kind of know where

(15:17):
we're getting with Darius Slayton. Then, like I said, we
kind of have a cap ceiling more than likely with
the Giants passing attack.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
All right, now we've got the Washington Commander's passing attack.
If you can tell this is these news items are
grouped by position. So Terry scared he's out again this week.
Scary Terry is and Debo. I guess we're waiting to
see what happens today in practice, but he wasn't practicing
yesterday either.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Yeah, I'm still expecting Deebo to go, but we don't
know for sure, like you said, So if he doesn't
like like, there's gonna be this is this is the
way I see it. I think that there's a there
are two, like one to one replacements for each.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Of these players. So for deebo or some for Terry McLaurin,
it would be Noah Brown.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
But Noah Brown's hurt also, and so I think it's
gonna be Chris Moore, who's kind of been in the
league for for a while.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
He's a veteran player.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
But last week Chris Moore only a nine percent target share,
but he had an eighty seven percent route share, which
is really strong. Uh. He ran basically like twice as
many routes as Luke McCaffrey and Jalen Lane. I think
Jalen Lane is the Debo replacement more so because he's
the same kind of like I've talked about him before,

(16:31):
like yards after the catch, manufactured touch, not unlike a
Malik Washington in a way, but like really dynamic, like a.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Really special athlete.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
But I don't know how raw, how good, Like he's
kind of raw as an as a real wide receiver.
And so I think that they drafted him with Debo
in mind, and with that sort of like playmaking ability
in mind. But I think if you're talking about like
a true perimeter guy that's going to replace Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Chris Moore, Chris Moore's kind of a sleeper this week.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
I actually in that same King's Classic league where I
lost Juwan Jennings, I lost Tyreek Hill Roma dunsdays on
by Matthew Golden's on by. It's a really really deep league.
I have to start Chris Moore. So yeah, that's how
that's how deep we're talking in.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
I mean some of the people that like, some of
the players that people are starting is just like vomit inducing.
It's really really bad.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
But yeah, I mean, like I think Moore is a
reasonable really deep sleeper this week based on his route
here last week. And Jayden Daniels is back this week,
so they should get a little bit more going through
the air.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
All right, Keeping it a buck is what the kids say.
Uh so keeping it a Bucky or Irving He's out
this week. Yeah, confirmed, And now now we see what
ra Shaan whitez made of and mister.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Tucker, Yeah, I'm excited about this is this is low
key a very like JJ brand week with the running
back position because there's two guys they Rico, Yeah, Rico, Yeah,
that's true. Rico's coming with with C Cuba. You have
Isaiah Davis stepping in for Braylan Allen. I love Isaiah Davis,
and then Sean Tucker. I'm a huge fan of uh

(18:11):
with with Bucky Irving in this in this Buccaneers backfield.
But make no mistake, guys, I'm gonna actually talk about
it when we get to the main event. Rashaan White
is going to be their their one a pretty comfortably,
I would assume. But I do think Sean Tucker is
a very good and underrated player, which is why you
should at least have him on your I'm actually I
have to also start Sean Tucker on that same team.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Sean, I just need to take your for the week.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
And I don't know I got CMC. I'm still a
fifty to fifty fifty to fifty.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Uh prop here proposition with with what I have going
so uh because I have Javonte Williams on that team too,
But yeah, uh, you know, I think Sean Tucker is
more of a desperation type play even though like, let's
just be pleasantly surprised if they use him more than
we expect.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Yeah, uh, Jason says, Uh. Basically, Jason, I couldn't say
what cam Ward said because this is a family show.
But that's where I learned. We're keeping it a buck
what it means, Yeah, he said it.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
How do you feeling about cam Ward over there?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
You know, every time I see an infograph about quarterback play,
it's like, you know, the quadrant, and he is on
just like one corner of the quadrant whatever that is.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
He's on his own planet.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Yeah, it's generally just him alone, so not great. But
also they're not doing him any favors. So it's just
what how many?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
How many?

Speaker 1 (19:35):
How many quarterbacks for the team that drafted them turn
things around for the team that drafted I'm not saying,
I mean, let's say the season's over and you're saying
they didn't do him any favors. How many quarterbacks do
we say that for that end.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Up like being good franchise quarterbacks?

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Not a lot. But again, this is such a like
a historically bad patching staff and the pass catchers and
everything else, And you know, we're starting to look at
lots of rumors as far as McCarthy coming to the
Tennessee or uh and Mike McDaniel being the offensive coordinator.

(20:15):
We'll see now if that, if that happens, we'll say
pants will be off. That's all I'm saying. All right,
let's get to the next one. Ri go swall.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna say it's uh, this is
this is gonna be really bad. Actually I'm gonna say
RB one co okay for Rico, right.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
You can say that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
I think that he is gonna be way, way.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Undervalued by the season long, Like I already heard some
I was actually scrolling TikTok like an hour ago and
I saw a random creator on there saying that they're
gonna play ric o'dowdle like around the Rashad White range
or whatever.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
No, No, rico'dowdell for me is a fringe RB one
And how I'm ranking him this week.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
I think that he's going to see a lot of
the work in that backfield and they get a good
matchup against Miami. So I'm excited about Rico, and I
am very excited for my best ball bags because I
you know, if any of you guys listen to becoming
a best ball bro.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
You know, I drafted a lot of Rico Downeld this year.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah, like for all the running backs that I drafted
late that did not pop in those early teams, talking
about Jayalen Wright, Roshawn Johnson, Andy and Marshawn Lloyd. Those
are the three. Those are the big ones. For as
much that drafted them, I did not. I was you
and I both relatively light on Connor and Cuba. So

(21:37):
this this certainly helps things. But we wish those guys
the best. Another guy that I had a lot of
on some of those teams, Benson, Trey Benson, what are
you doing, Bud? Like you just got you just got
the nod, you know, and then he's out and now
we've got to decide what we're going to do with

(21:58):
this running back splits. We had someone just post in
the NFL News and Rumors Actual channel in a discord
a quote from Jonathan Gannon talking about the running back
snap saying, we'll see they'll all have their roles, they'll
maximize their opportunities. So there you go.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Very helpful.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
I have I have Michael Carter over a Mari de Marcado.
I think they're like a tier apart. You know, I
do think technically Demarcado like would have a higher ceiling
because if they do use him on the ground a
lot or like a decent amount, even if it's like
a forty sixty split, he'll get the receiving work, and
so obviously then he would be a little bit more valuable.

(22:40):
But I think that our evidence points to Amri de
Marcado being more of that satellite, you know, third down, back,
hurry up back. A lot of people look at what
happened last week and there's you know, there's this like
notion when this stuff happens, they're like, well, a Mario
Demarcado has been playing ahead of of Michael Carter, so therefore,

(23:02):
you know he would be the one that we would add.
But there's a lot of situations across the league where
some players don't dress because they're not special teamers, and
some players don't dress because they don't have that specific
role on that team. Like a really good example of
this would be if Derek Henry were to get hurt,
Justice Hill would see a spike in a little bit
of a spike, but Keaton Mitchell would be the one
who would step in and probably get more early down

(23:24):
work still than Justice Hill, even though Keaton Mitchell is
not the one that's been dressed and playing right. So
I think it's a similar situation here where I think
Michael Carter probably sees sixty five percent of the team's
rushing work and running back rushes, and then obviously if
he's playing more on first and second down, he'll still
see some work through the air, and then De Marcato

(23:45):
would play two minute hurry up stuff. But this week,
in particular, they get Tennessee, they're huge favorites. Tennessee's been
really good for running backs to score.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah, Tennessee has been really good.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Nothing's good about Tennessee, but they've been good four running
backs in terms of allowing fantasy points even when adjusted
for strength of opponent. And you know, obviously a lot
of that has to do with the fact that they're
in these certain games curs. But they're likely to be
in that kind of game script again this week, and
so I think that does favor Michael Carter a little
bit more, which is why you know, I think Carter
is more of the flex And then i'd put de

(24:18):
Marcado like one tier below that.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah, okay, call him the bree We've got Braylan Allen
out possibly eight to twelve weeks, yeah, is what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Yeah, I think that Isaiah Davis needs to be added in.
He's only rostered in like four percent of yall of
the leagues right now. He needs to be rostered in
way more. He was really effecive, effective. I don't even
know how to talk right now.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Efficient.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
That's effective and efficient, yes, combined, yes, combined.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
You guys know my brain goes faster than my mouth oftentimes,
and so you know, I think Isaiah Davis last year
was really an underrated player. I didn't think that he
was anything worse, any worse than what Braylan Allen showed.
I think that what the Jets had was like they're like,
we want to have a hammer in Braylan Allen to

(25:11):
compliment Breecee Hall and Braylan Allen doesn't play nearly as
big as his actual size. Like he's just not He's
not as good of a running back, I think, as
his like frame would suggest and as his body of
work would suggest. But he himself, you know, there's still
room to grow. He's only like twenty one years old
right now. But I liked Isaiah Davis coming out last year.
You guys might remember I was kind of pissed off

(25:33):
whenever the Jets drafted both of these guys because I
didn't mind Braylan Allen either. I wanted them to at
least get some opportunity in like separate spots. But now
I think Isaiahdavis is going to see that opportunity. He's
more of a pass catcher than Braylon Allen. They could realistically,
like like just wrote, like more comfortably rotate Breeze Hall
and Isaiah Davis than I think they could with Braylon
Allen and Breecee Hall. So I'm into Isaiah Davis. Great

(25:56):
matchup this weekends, Dallas. I think that he could be
considered like a desperation flat if you need something.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah, But that that Breeze Hall exposure though, aren't you
so glad now that you wrote that newsletter or that that.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
He Yeah, that you did right where I talked about
how everyone's fading Breeze Hall, but let's not totally fade
Breese Hall.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, and then at the end you're like, I don't
even know. I think the conclusion I came to is
like he has upside, and I was like, well, let's
just put that. Yeah. Yeah, I mean like that's exactly
what's happened.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, I mean, like I think Breece is good, Like
he's still like there last week. There were definitely times
I think it was after like he kind of rolled
his ankle a little bit down the sideline. He looked
a little bit slower, And there's been times where like
he's done that where he's just kind of like not
looked like you know, year one or like pre ACL
even like even some of the plays post ACL Breeze Hall.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
But I still think he's really good. And that's why
I didn't want to fad.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
I don't want to fade really really good players, you know,
Like there are some guys where I am okay with
like full full fading, Like I full faded Jerry Judy
this year, you know, because I just we had a large,
you know, number of years of him being a pretty
mid wide receiver or at least not like an elite
one from a fantasy perspective.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
So that makes me feel a little bit more comfortable
kind of going through and.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Doing that, Whereas there's gonna be like soft fades like
a like a Kirene or a Zay Flowers or something
like that where I'm still gonna draft them, uh in
certain spots, but they're they're talented enough where I don't
want a full fade because there and Breeshall was like
that where I mean I was more a market just
because everyone else started to just say no to Bresall.
So I'm like, all right, I guess I'm gonna get
a little hal But yes, and these instances, I'm very

(27:39):
glad that I wrote an email like that makes me
feel good that I covered my bases and people knew
where I stood before the season started.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah, because at that point people were just tanking them.
So good job by, good job by you, you know,
just bringing a little bit of hey level. We need
some levelheadedness, some levelheadedness, yeah, late round level headedness. All right,
Titans find a new weapon, and that is Spears. Is
he officially back, he's coming back. He's like he was

(28:06):
limited yesterday. I think he was out there today in
today's practice. So if he's not out there to this week,
he'll be out there next week. But certainly helps the
Titans when he comes back.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
So my reaction that I put down here is Pollard
cell because when I did my rest of season rankings,
he was still being ranked like as if nothing's happening
with this backfield, where clearly.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Something's happening with his back.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
But if Taja Spears is back, that's gonna limit Tony
Pollard's volume, and that's in an offense that's not gonna
score much, and so he needs that volume. We can
actually look at a chart in today's data that'll show
this a little bit more. But he's not even seeing
like that much work as a receiver. I think Spears
is fine to stash right now, but I do worry
about like they're not really targeting the running back position

(28:48):
that much.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
You know.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
I do think that Spears like is a dynamic player,
and probably more dynamic than Tony Pollard, whereas Pollard is
just a little bit more solid. And we know that
what we're getting with him out of him. And so
in a situation where Tennessee's offense isn't gonna give you
a lot, you might need the playmaker a little bit more.
You might need the Taj Spears a little bit more.

(29:11):
And so I would say that Spears is kind of
interesting from that perspective. I just have a really hard
time going with either one of these running backs and
such a putrid offense. What are the chances that these
guys are I mean, they're just handcuffs for one another,
like Paullard can still be usable, don't get me wrong,
but I just mean, like a true you know, RB

(29:31):
two type ceiling consistently, you're probably gonna need an injury
to the other guy.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Uh. Speaking of running backs, I enjoyed the running back
conversation today with your perspectives, guess, mister James.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Co Yeah, with with what part did you let enjoy.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
The running back discussion, Like we're talking about outside runs
like that.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
He definitely he's been doing a lot of work with
with the running back stuff, and it's definitely something him
him bringing up the outside you know, I said it
on the show, but it's like, what are the I'm
obviously thinking about, like what the inputs are to these
outside runs and obviously like it's the zone schemes that
he was referencing, you know that that Kubiak tree, the
Shanahan tree, and then there's obviously like the speed and

(30:14):
athleticism component to it. But then he made the point
he was just like Okay, but they're just doing it.
It's like, Okay, that's true. We don't need to like
necessarily like dig into the inputs so much as much
as we just need to know who's doing it. And
so I do think it's something that a lot of
people should be you know, I'll probably dig into over
the next week or so.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Okay, we got to move a little bit quicker with this. Well,
let's let's group the quarterbacks together. Browns, they shocked the
world by naming a new quarterback. They never do this.
And then Ravens, man, it's gonna be tough for them.
So what's your thoughts on Cooper Rush this week? And
then Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I'm I'm I'm excited to see Dylan Gabriel play.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
I think he can be a distributor.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
And I think that they might see a little bit
more lower aid dot like not as much aggression within
their offense, which is gonna help a guy like Harold
Fannin a little bit. So I'm gonna say I think
this actually might help Fannin. So I'm gonna say Fanning up.
And then Cooper Rush, I think everyone is down. You know,
Lamar Jackson's arguably the best quarterback in football, and when

(31:17):
he's out, that's gonna hurt everyone in the offense. I mean,
we might see a little bit more passing volume like
that could happen, which sounds backwards and weird, but we
obviously know that game script and Lamar being able to
run the ball means less passing volume. But yeah, I
mean it's Cooper rush. Like it's hard to get really excited.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Okay, And in the tight end position, we had just
had word the Jatavian Sanders out again this week. But really,
the good news may be bad news. The bad news
is the whole rock Bower situation. He's still clearly vomited
with this with this knee injury. But the good news
is that we got so many streamers this week.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
We have a lot of streamers. Yeah, it's a good,
I'll say, a good streaming week for these tight ends.
I said, weck, I'm not even gonna I'm not even
gonna fix that type of We're just gonna.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Let alreadys say that and the eyes go back and
you fix it.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Yeah, I'm gonna fix it.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
I know, I I it's a it's a good streaming
week for tight ends. You know, I think Michael Meyer
would just join the club if brock Bauers were.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
To be out. So, yeah, he was out last week.
I don't even know what if he's gonna be back
this week.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah, I don't know. I would just just keep tabs
on it.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah, and you've you've talked earlier in this week also
especially the Q and A, we talked about a lot
of tight end options. All right, Well that's all the
news JJ, So let's go on to the next big thing.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Today's data.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Kind of a Christian McCaffrey chart that I put together
for today's For today's data, I actually didn't even put
last night's numbers in here.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
But this is.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
On the X Access you have running back Rush air
per game, and on the Y Access you have target
share per game. Obviously, this is more visual, and so
you should be watching on YouTube to be able to
see this. If you're listening and just you know, in
the podcast feed, you can obviously just go to the
YouTube show. But I do think it's interesting to kind
of bucket these players, as I call workhorses, players who

(33:21):
see a lot of work on the ground but not
as much through the air. And then bell Cow's are
like the true three down, you know, guys seeing like
a lot of work on the ground and the air and.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Through the air.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
And then obviously there's the just general pass catchers, the
pass catching specialists, and then there's just the inconsistent usage players.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
That's the bottom left quadrant.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
And I do think that it captures like the archetypes
of these players really well, even just by like looking
at this snapshot. Now you're gonna get like David Montgomery
as an inconsistent usage player, and we know that the
offense can elevate him to being a more friendly fantasy
running back.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
But players that are is it? I mean, last week
he proved he's he can be inconsistent.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Right right, Like you have you know, some rookies in
there that hopefully they start to move towards the right
a little bit more like a Woody Marx and R. J.
Harvey and stuff. But like Isaiah Pacheco is in that
inconsistent usage. You know, you have Zach Charbonnet in there,
you know, Kareem Hunt, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Aljier. And then
you move to the right. And this is where I
was talking about Tony Pollard. Look at Tony Pollard's running

(34:20):
back rush share like it's crazy, but he's not seeing
that much work through the air. And that's where like
if Taj Spears is there, then it's capping his ceiling
even more for that growth, you know, it's just not
going to be there. And then you look at Christian
McCaffrey up in the top and it's like, like his
usage is just out of control. It was like a
thirty percent almost a thirty percent running back or a
target share in per game in that San Francisco offense.

(34:44):
But you know the other players in that Bell Cow
bucket are Devon a Chan, Breize Hall, Saquon Barkley. You know,
DeAndre Swift is probably a surprise one, but we know
that he's seeing a lot of work in his backfield.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Jalen Warren.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
It's just it's just an interesting chart to kind of
look at four weeks and say, here's how these teams
are deploying these backs, and here's how we can kind
of categorize these players.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Yeah, Chase Brown kind of in that Tony Pollard bucket.
As far as like the offense not being great right now,
like what is what is it just a.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Little bit more the difference with him and Pollard is
that he will see more work through the air.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
And I'm calling it right now. I should have made
this a bold prediction.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
I think Cincinnati has a chance to be a lot
better offensively.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
This week than they have been the last two.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Really yeah, Okay, I thought you it was gonna be
on a Titan side and I was.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
Like, what, definitely not Titans.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
No Titans beat the Cardinals this week. My thing is,
like everyone is, if if this does not, if this
is not a good week for Browning, you're gonna see panic.
People are already claiming like just wanted Jameis Winston to
be there in Cincinnati, Like that's how, that's how things

(35:54):
are right now.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Yeah, I mean we talked about it on perspectives how
I had sort of vibes take But you get Minnesota,
you're on the road the last two weeks.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
Since now he's on the road the last two weeks.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
They get Minnesota, and Minnesota's coming off a really bad
loss against Atlanta, and obviously Minnesota has a good defense.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Then they get Denver.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Denver's coming off a really sad loss against the Chargers,
and obviously the Broncos have a good defense. And I
do think there's like a human element of football where
these teams are like, okay, we got to do this,
like we got like we've all played team sports before.
And I'm not I'm not one of those like analytical
analysts who are like, there's no such thing as, you know, momentum.

(36:37):
I don't think it's moment I think that momentum is
the wrong way to phrase it. I think it's just
being in a flow state, right, And like like you
can if you have played any sport before, you know
that you personally can be in that flow state where
you're just draining every three, where you're hitting every pass
like everything's just working for you. And yes, it's a
little bit different in football because there's eleven different people

(37:00):
they need to come together to do things. But on
a singular play, you don't necessarily need all eleven to
hit at the same time. Like one guy cannot be
playing that well on offense or something that the offense
is still cooking, you know.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
So I believe in this Squeaky Will narrative where a
guy like Jamar Chase, if it's gonna happen for him,
it's gonna be this week. That's my thing.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Yeah, I mean, part of that's just like natural regression.
And like this is when people talk about like do
you ever go with your gut JJ, And I'm like,
your gut is inherently doing calculations about what you're seeing
and absorbing and analyzing. So I don't think your gut
is something that's completely independent of analytics and you know,

(37:38):
like knowledge. I don't think it's just like, yeah, I'm
gonna throw a dart, that's what my gut's saying. No,
your gut is literally internalizing all these different inputs.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
You just can't comprehend it consciously. You know. Maybe we're
getting way too deep here, but.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
I do think that this is all really necessary to
throw out there so that people know where I'm coming
from as like a analytical in and a number of
an analyst. I'm not just someone who only looks at
spreadsheets with this stuff.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
And then it's silly.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
From intelligent guts to the main event. It's the late round,
main event. Hey, we're gonna start with players you like
more than consensus this week and starting with Justin Fields.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Imagine it.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
On the on the Sleeper Show, I said, I think
you can rank Justin Fields all the way up to
QB two. I haven't ranked as QB two this week.
I mean maybe that's aggressive. You know, I do have
them in a tier with other guys, so I could
you know, if you want Jayden Daniels or whomever, that's fine.
But Fields gets the Cowboys this week, and his two
completed games this year, he scored twenty nine and a
half and twenty seven point one standard fantasy points. Dallas

(38:44):
is the best team for quarterbacks by justin points allowed.
They're giving up ninety three more yards than what would
be expected of them based on their early season schedule
and performance at these quarterbacks. So I mean you look
at their their game, their their team total. It's like
twenty two and a half points for the Jets this week.
I think on paper it makes sense to be really
high on Justin Field this week. I mean, anything's possible

(39:05):
from a results standpoint, but I think process wise, you
should like him.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
I'm in one like normy league with like not not
my home league, not analysts, just it's a normal league
that I joined one of my one of my friends,
and I was able to pick up Justin Fields who
had cleared the waverwear. Yeah, because I had Lamar Jackson
and I'm just like, it was so refreshing to me. Yeah,

(39:32):
in a in a very frustrating waiver wire week where
I'm just getting out bid by everybody, there's nobody who's
like is sneaking by? I was like, man, this is nice.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
You need to play.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
I think everyone should experience all types of leagues, like
in terms of like in their portfolio every single year,
Like I talked about the King's Classic one where I'm
gonna have to start Chris Freaking More and Sean Tucker
and then you know, I'm gonna go to a home
league that I'm in, you know, a local league where
some of them are actually kind of deep, but then
there's others that are like, oh, I can just get

(40:04):
this guy off waive. Like I picked up Jake Ferguson
in a tight end premium league off waivers in the
league and like like two weeks or a tight end
premium league and.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Jake I was like, why is why did this happen?

Speaker 1 (40:17):
And so I just picked him up and I have
Dak and I have this stack now of Dak and
Jake Ferguson.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
It's phenomenally fun. Like it's a good time.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Yeah, I think you need those kinds of leagues to like,
you know, be like, Okay, I can see, you know
if I miss out on something like there's some leagues
where you you miss out on like a dollar or
two on the hot waiver guy, like you can just
get them for free in those other leagues.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Okay, running back, you got Rashad White, and you even
with Bucky out, you have your rank for him higher
than everybody else.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
I do.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
I'm a little bit, you know, concerned that it's probably
a little bit too high.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
So so take this all with a grain of salt.
It's really just a volume thing.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
I do think he's gonna be comfortably the one A
in that back this week, but I still think Sean
Tucker should be added because we could be pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 3 (41:04):
And I also think Tucker's really really good.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
So you know, if Bucky missus next week, then we
would feel more confident in playing Tucker, unless you're in
that crazy league Mike Mine, where I have to start him.
But I think he's gonna see the most work in
Tampa Bay. In that backfield, they can run the ball
really effectively just as a team, you know, the matchup
isn't like great or horrible on paper, but he has
the clear pass catching role. I would assume he sees

(41:26):
the goal line work as well.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
You know.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
I just think that it's a solid enough play and
I don't want to overthink it too too much.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Okay, you got Keenan Allen.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
Yeah, I'm actually surprised that he's not ranked higher, just
given how well he's performed so far this year. So
the Chargers have a twenty five and a half point
ply team total against Washington. This is one of the
games where, like, would you be shocked if it shoots
out a little bit?

Speaker 3 (41:52):
You know, like if it's a high scoring game.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
Uh, the offensive line issues for the Chargers might face,
might might force some of those lower aid dot looks,
which is going to help a player like Keenan Allen
more than like a Quentin Johnston.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
And then lad mconkie would would be helped a little
bit too.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
He's run about forty five percent of his routes from
the slot this season and Washington is ninth and adjusted
slot target share allowed to wide receivers.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
So like that's good.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
I like Ladd McConkey this week too, Like, I know,
I said that last week and it really was a
bad call. But this could be the week where, like
it's not as much QJ, but it's a little bit
more Keenan Allen and Ladd just based on what's going
on with this offensive line.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
But we've said that in the past and it's been
a QJ week.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
But yeah, I think I think Keenan Allen should be
ranked a little bit higher this week.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
All Right, this guy no stranger to the late round brand,
and his mom is just a fantastic human being that
we have both met JJ.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Yeah, one of the greatest moms, yeah, in this country.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
So that's how I praise Harold Fannon. You've got tight
End twelve compared to tight End fifteen.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yeah, I think that you could even go higher with
fannin this week. It's a really fun spot for him
because obviously Cedric Tillman being out, I think is going
to force them to use a lot more twelve personnel
and sort of make fannin the de facto slot player
for this offense. And you're gonna have Isaiah Bond on
the other side with Jerry Judy, And it just so

(43:20):
happens they're playing Minnesota, who's allowed the highest slot target
share allowed to Justin for strengthen the opponent in the
NFL so far this year. And then on top of that,
we know that Fannin is sort of more you know,
he's like the him versus in Joku. He's the crisper
route runner, like he's more of the traditional like against
slot player, if you will, whereas in Djoku can kind
of stretch the field and do more with his athleticism.

(43:42):
I think that's good for Gabriel where he might be
under pressure a little bit in this game because Minnesota
has a decent front. He also might just want to
be conservative with the ball. So I honestly think this
could be a game for Harold Fannin where he catches
like seven balls for sixty or seventy yards, like a
really nice floor game from a PPR perspective. At least
that's what logic is telling me. But I think that

(44:05):
this can go in a lot of different directions still,
which is why I'm not going to be too too
aggressive and where I'm ranking.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Now, look at you playing logic to the Cleveland Browns offense.
All right, let's let's move on to bold predictions for
this week, starting with Jamison Williams bouncing back, big time.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Big time bounce back.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
Now, I will say Cincinnati has actually not faced a
ton of deep balls this season. That could just be
that they've seen certain game scripts and stuff. I don't
want to look too much into that. We know it's
a good matchup. We know JMO has a one route
share in three or four games this year, and Cincinnati's
a top five matchup. Like I said, four wide receivers

(44:43):
and adjustin points allowed. So we're gonna say big Jmo
week this week against Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
Okay, big Jmo week and a big Rico week this week.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
As I'm saying, man, I think Rico Dado can be
a top eight running back because there's a very real chance.
I do think they could use some Trevor etn. But
I think there's a chance that we see, like you know,
Cuba Hubbard Week one workload for Rico downal. I don't
say week two, three, or four, because over the last
few weeks Tuba has been more in that like sixty
percent sixty to sixty five percent running back rush are range.

(45:13):
But like week one, I'm talking like eighty percent running
back rush are eleven twelve percent target share. He's just
a bell cow for Carolina this week, and it just
so happens to be in a very very good matchup.
And by the way, next week, Carolina gets Dallas. So
not only is it a great matchup for Rico if
Tuba were to still be out, it's a revenge game, folks,

(45:34):
it's a revenge game for Rico down.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
That's right. I didn't even thought about that. I did
see that they're plann Dallas next week because it's on
your look ahead waiver wire. Uh, let's get to some
of these guys and look ahead where we're wre I
want to point out just one thing real quick though,
j J, if you can, there's one name on here
that sticks out. Yeah, a guy that you have talked
about a lot for these like waver wires look Ahead

(45:59):
stat A guy that reminds me kind of Woody Marks.
It's not Jaden Blue. It's Richard Smith. Oh yeah, as
a guy who like is keeps on being on this
and like eventually it's gonna happen for him and you're
gonna be too late. You've missed the bus.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yeah, I mean we've talked about him a lot. I
mean he was in the Draft Guide as a late
round dart throw.

Speaker 3 (46:19):
And you know he's another guy. I think I'm also
starting him on that team.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
That I was talking like, there's no chance you are
of fifty to fifty to win that guys, I will share. No, No,
the other guy has someone on by.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
I think it's it's my good friend Jim Coventry, who
also has a struggling team based on buys and injuries
and all.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
That kind of stuff. So I will show you guys
the matchup.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
You know, after we'll look kind of next week, we'll
take a screenshot of the of the matchup and see
what happened. I'm probably string with Kendrick Bourne, though, Kendrick Bourne,
I mean, we'll see if the wide receiver injuries sustain
week over week.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
And same with George Kittle.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
He obviously saw a huge work this past week or
started this past week last night against the Rams. He's
gonna be in Waiver wire columns. You know, I don't
know how aggressive you really need to get him, but
he's someone to at least pay attention to.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
It honestly made me sad for like my Juwan Jennings
and Ricky Piersol.

Speaker 1 (47:17):
Like dude, Juwan Jennings would have gone I mean, both
of them would have gone ballistic last night.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
I mean, Kendrick Borne had a decent game, don't get
me wrong, but like I said, like a.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
Be had a bad drop, you know, and he had
drops the week before that as well.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
They're also like I'm telling the like they ran this,
I want to see his his his route shot tree. Yeah,
because it looked like he was just doing the same
thing over and over again.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
Okay, let's let's go to the other guy throwing him
the balls. Mac Jones. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:46):
They get Tampa Bay next week, so he could be
a streamer.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Tampa Bay is a generally a plus matchup for quarterbacks
for Carolina.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
You have Bryce Young and the guy you just talked about,
Trev Ten. I also have Jimmy Horn dude down here,
Yeah Coker. So they just announced Coker's twenty one day
window is now open to come back. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
So I have Jimmy Horn on there because David Moore
went to IR Jimmy Horn.

Speaker 3 (48:13):
Actually the Zap model didn't mind him that much.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
Yeah, and so I'm kind of intrigued to see what
he might be able to do. You know, there's kind
of a redundancy with like Hunter Renfro and stuff. But
maybe he finds the field a little bit, maybe he surprises,
maybe he does something. This is a deep league play.
Same with Trevory Tann It's more of a deep league
type type. Ad and Stash just if they give him
more work than we expect versus him and Rico Daudele

(48:38):
and then Bryce Hung gets I mean, they get Dallas
next week. So that's why it's intriguing Bryce Young against
Dallas again. Dallas has been unbelievably friendly for fantasy football
this year.

Speaker 2 (48:47):
I have Horn and Coker on my Insiders Dynasty Best
Ball league in which I'm playing you this week.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
JJ, well, I hope you beat me because I'm not
not ready to win yet. My team's actually not that
bad in that league though.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
Yeah, no, it's not that bad. But I showed you
my team. It's loaded.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
Yeah, I mean, to be fair, I took I took
over an orphan and that.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah. I mean, it's like like I built that thing
three or four years ago. But if you look at
my team, it's.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
Not the most active league in the world.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
It's yeah, because it's the best ball team. But if
you look at my team. It's kind of like teams quickly,
would you calm down so I can give you some
praise just for a second. If you look at my
if you look at my team, it's got JJ's Paul
Prance all over it. Though, it's got Puka. Uh, it's
got a Marion Hampton, egg Buka Romadonza, Brian Thomas Junior.

(49:42):
I'm not sure if you want to take credit for that,
but all these guys, I would.

Speaker 1 (49:46):
I should take credit for Brian Thomas Junior, and probably
not a dounsday I was. I was just at market
with a Dunza.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Yeah, but I was thinking about trading him this year.

Speaker 3 (49:54):
I mean in Dynasty. I liked him this year to redraft.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
Sorry, yeah, but I was thinking about trading him this year,
and I was like, why not have both Igbuka and
a dounsay?

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (50:02):
And why you know what's crazy is that that whole thing, right,
It's just insane that they're just both they're both top
ten wide receivers in Dynasty. Now, Like I couldn't have
asked for a better outcome than that, because then we're
all like, Okay, we see all of these outcomes, like
we see the great outcome happening for a Donsay, but
we see the process work from an Igbuka standpoint, you know,

(50:25):
like the ninetieth percentile is hitting for both of them.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
And the guy you traded a Donsay too should be
thanking you because he might not have picked Igbuka in
that spot.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
It's all good for everybody, literally maybe everybody. All right,
you've already talked about Michael Carter, You've already talked about
Sean Tucker. You have not talked about this guy yet,
So we talk about him a lot in the in
the Waiver Wire show, the Q and A Show, and
the discord. Uh, Jaden Blue, he's gonna play this way?

Speaker 3 (50:56):
I mean he's gonna address this week side plays.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
I haven't seen the status update officially on Miles Sanders,
if he's officially out or or not. If he's if
he's officially out and not going to play, then Jayden
Blue could actually just see some work in this game.
And look, anytime there is an electric with the ball
in his hands kind of player and they're a rookie
and there's a little bit of hype behind them, I

(51:22):
want to have them stashed because just a couple plays,
remember Keaton Mitchell, Like a couple plays, all of a sudden,
they're the hot waiver ad And I'm not saying that
they become an RB two were better in fantasy. I'm
saying you just want to add value to your fantasy
team and this is one way of doing that right now.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
These two guys also mentioned earlier this week on the
pod Isaiah Bond, who is the Cleveland just got for
free and Elijah Royo, the tight end for the Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Yeah, so Isaiah Bond was someone that the Za model
actually liked him. We had off the field stuff, so
we went undrafted. You know, he's a he's a solid player,
he can get down the field. I'm not expecting, you know,
a lot of production from him this week with Cedric
Tillman out, but we could see production down the line

(52:10):
because Dylan Gabriel gets more reps and Cedric Tillman is now.
I think he's a fishing on IR and so Bond
will be their wide receiver too with him on IR.
So he should be added in like you know, twelve
plus leagues with like seven or so bench spots, you know,
he's not like a absolute must. And then Elijah Royo,

(52:30):
he's just been seeing more work. Like this past week,
he saw a lot more work in that Seattle offense.
I think he was like a seventeen percent target share,
sixty one percent route share. Anytime you get a good
rookie tight end pass catcher seeing more and more work,
they should be on your radar.

Speaker 3 (52:47):
So that's just sort of a trend play with Elijah Royo.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
I need to look in the Scott fish Ball I'm
in to see if Bond is still there because he
is the lead punt returner and kickoff returner.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
But this is different Scott. It's different for Scott Fishball
this year.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
I thought kick return yards were a thing those last year.
I though was this year as well. Maybe maybe it's not.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
By the way I might I might win Scott fish Ball.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
Good for you, because I I am not winning it.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
I have I have Puka and CMC on my.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
I've got Pooka as well, and I've also got no,
I don't have Pooka. I have egg Buca, sorry, not Puka,
egg Buca. Kyn Williams, Davante Adams, and Stefan Diggs, who
is kind of like the flavor of the week for
for late Round this week.

Speaker 3 (53:43):
I mean look perspectives.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
James co said that Digs was going to be the
wide receiver one this week. Can I just can I
just share with you guys my Scott Fishball team so
that you guys can.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
See how.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
How real I am about winning this, Like I'm I
could win Scott fish boll.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
For those that don't know. Also, this is how JJ
and I's meetings go too. Like we we talk probably
during the season, like twenty percent business. Eighty percent is
just us showing each other our fantasy team. Rosterbating is
just what Yeah, that's what I'd say, all right, yeah,
so what's your team?

Speaker 3 (54:18):
All right, here's the team. You're ready.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
You're ready, Pokinakua and so so Scott fish Ball. You
have what ten flex spots and then like two super
flex spots and it's weird scoring. It's like points for
first down and some carries and stuff like that. But regardless, Pookinakua,
Christian McCaffrey, Woody Marks, Breise Hall, Stefan Diggs, I have
Mike Evans on the bench, Jalen Wattle, Cam Skataboo, Darren Waller,
Amarion Hampton, Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
And Justin Fields. Gosh, that team and I have I have.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
I have Jacorey Krossky Merritt on the bench, Hibershard Smith
on the bench, I have Mike Evans on the bench,
Juwan Jennings on the bench, and I Breton Strange on
the bench. I I'm I'm gonna do it this year.
I'm gonna take down the eight thousand team tournament and
I'm calling my shot here in week five.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
There you go, what could go wrong? I've got Russell
Wilson on the bench, Najee Harris on the bench, George
Kittle on the bench.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
I mean, Kittle's good. Why why you wouldn't kiddle with
Nause and Russ.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Because they're they're not gonna be playing. I mean, Kittle
will come back with Terry McLaurin on the bench. I mean,
it's just That's what I'm saying. It's not good because
those guys aren't playing.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
But every every week when I look at the projection
on on sleeper, yeah, I'm projected to score like fifty
more points than any other team.

Speaker 3 (55:30):
In the league.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
My gosh, like legitimately, might we just lost half our viewers.
But it's great that because it's it's it's like, what's
your projected totally? Two fifty?

Speaker 3 (55:43):
No, no, three seventy? Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Right now, dude, right now, my projected total for this
week is three hundred and sixty six points.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Right now, those are the always leagues you just checked
just to make just to feel good about.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
Your Yeah, if I'm losing other leagues, I'm just gonna
go straight to my SFB team.

Speaker 2 (56:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, my league. My I'm projected for two
hundred and eighty five points this week, right to score
one hundred more points.

Speaker 3 (56:12):
I already got one hundred points from PUKA and CMC.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
All right, speaking of guys, are teams that projected to
score one hundred and more points. Vegas plays Tennessee next week.

Speaker 3 (56:22):
Yeah, so Vegas, you're look ahead, look ahead defense because
they get Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
Okay, all right, let's get on to the id of
sound effect. Sorry, let's get on to the quad box
for this week as we wrap up this show. Last
week was a pretty good quad box. This week we're
looking to go even better. So I'll take again some

(56:48):
suggestions from the chat. First, Yeah, I'll take some suggestions
from the chat, and I will go I will go
with this Bill's Patriots.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
Gonna go Bill's Patriots.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
And why didn't you go first?

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Because I was being friendly?

Speaker 2 (57:04):
No, you wanted to see all that, you wanted to
kind of see all the games that were availed.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
No, no, no, go Bill's Patriots. I have a better I
have a better one.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Okay, Bill's Patriots. Because we just talked about digs. You
got vrabel on Sunday Night football. You got the Bills
on the other side. You know, it's a kind of
a rivalry game like this. This will be a fun game.
So I'm gonna go Bill's Patriots from my from my.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
I'm going I'm going the actual one O one o one,
which is Chargers Commanders. I'm actually surprised that Chargers Commanders
doesn't have a higher total than than the other two games,
just offensive line stuff.

Speaker 3 (57:43):
You know what, as you do that, I'll do. I'll
do Chargers Commanders.

Speaker 2 (57:48):
Okay, Okay, Bills versus Patriots. Okay, we have a charge
Commanders Chargers Commanders. That's kind of that seems like that's
what people want. Okay, let's expand this box so people
can see this all right. So we've got Chargers, Commanders, Bills, Patriots. Man,

(58:16):
I almost want to go, uh yeah, I'll do it.
I'll go Jags and Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (58:24):
Oh my gosh, you and the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
You know, are you not excited about this game? You
gave credit you gave credit to to Patrick Mahomes this week.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Yeah, he's been great this year exactly. Yeah, no, no,
go ahead, Chiefs, Chiefs, Jacks.

Speaker 2 (58:40):
That'll be a fun game though, Right, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
That's that's not nearly as egregious as Chiefs Giants.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
I mean the other ones they're pretty There's there's one more.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
There's two more that I like that that we could
have gone. I think, Okay, so you'll you'll go, You'll
go Jags, Chiefs. Yeah, I'm actually so. I think that
one of them we could have gone is buck Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
Yeah. I almost did that almost.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
You know what I'm going to do instead go Dolphins, Panthers,
I'm going Cowboys Jets.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
Yeah. That was that was another one.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
Cow Boys Jets has the chance to a chance to
just be fun.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
Any game that Cowboys are playing this year.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
Has it, and then has a chance to the other
side where he just this crazy stuff all the time. Yeah,
give me that game.

Speaker 2 (59:24):
Yeah, I don't know. JJ looks to the very bottom.
And I'm saying this for two reasons. The Vikings play
the Browns Sunday, nine thirty am on the NFL Network. First,
the Late Round made its appearance in the NFL Network
starting yesterday as our partnership as.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Bottom line folks, check that, check that ticker, that scroller.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
So we're on there now. The other thing is, JJ,
I want just to alert you to the Browns playing
at home, their home with their home dogs this week.
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Can I just make a statement.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
I'm fully aware that on Tuesday's fifteen Transaction show, I
said the Browns were gonna be playing at home, And
so I went on Twitter yesterday and I made a statement.
I put a note on there from my phone. Should
I read it really quick? Said, people are aware.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
It's a long note, but you can.

Speaker 3 (01:00:26):
I'll read it. I'll read it, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
At the top it just says I'm sorry. That's the headline,
and I said, I learned it, and this is me
coming from my heart. I learned at a young age
that's always better to own your mistakes than to run
away from them. So here, I am owning a very
costly mistake. On Tuesday's fifteen Transactions episode, I did something
that I deeply regret. I mentioned that I liked the
Browns as a streaming defense, and when giving the logic

(01:00:48):
for the take, I said that Cleveland will be playing
at home. That was wrong, and I apologize. The targeted
harassment stemming from that mistake is understandable. How could a
fantasy football analyst who lives in his mom's be not
remember that the Browns are playing in London? Does he
even watch the games? What else does he need that
didn't come out very well? What else doesn't he know?

(01:01:09):
I know I'll have to work hard to gain back
your trust, but I'm willing to put in that work.
I promise this will only make me a better analyst. No,
it will make me a better man.

Speaker 3 (01:01:20):
Yeah, with love, JJ.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
People took this serious, JJ because you didn't use the
sarcasm font.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
I cannot even believe how many people I've gotten emails
from people saying keep up, you know, keep your head up, but.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Keep up the great work.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
And I appreciate all those emails, genuinely appreciate them, like
it's so kind that people do that kind of thing.
But I promise you guys, I'm I'm I'm making fun
of myself for missing and messing that up.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Because I messed that up.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
I said they were playing at home, and I got
like twenty to thirty people hitting me up being like,
they're not playing at.

Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
Home, buddy.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Someone called me pale in a comment saying, hey, pal,
they're playing in London, and so I just figured I'd
make fun of myself and and put that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
I saw Andy from the Baller saying that he quoted
it with I stand with JJ. Kyle wants to know
how how viral did it go? How how many how
many likes does it have?

Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
It currently has thirty two hundred likes, and that's pretty good, Yeah,
yeah for something that niche.

Speaker 3 (01:02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
The my favorite part is when they're because there's just
like mean people on Twitter and stuff like that's that's
their whole being on social media, just like just being
miserable as posting and just saying horrible things. And so
they're responding and they're making fun of me for being soft, yeah,
for sending that thinking that it's a serious note. And

(01:02:43):
it's just so funny that the trolls are that like,
it just goes to show that trolls are absolute morons.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Yeah, yeah, agreed, agreed, all right, DS and p's for JJ.
That was what Sean said, Holy cal Kyle said, I
don't think he's talking about Ben and Jerry, but if so,
we need more cow bench and I think that will
do it for the show. So again, thank you for
joining us. Make sure that you are subscribed to our YouTube.

(01:03:11):
That helps out a lot, like comment on the video,
what you like, what you don't like, easy on that
don't like stuff. And then also JJ. Today we had
the mailbag episode, we had the in this we're talking
about Friday, we had the mail bag episode. We have
perspectives and we just want everyone to have a great
week this week.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
Yeah, I'm going to Disney on ice tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
Do you know That's like the one thing I never
put my foot down. I don't think you even think
we've talked about this. It's a fun time, I know,
but like we had just been to Disney. I never
tell my wife no, Like I'm pretty much like, yeah,
you want to do yeah you do? I we The
girl said, just we had just gone to Disney, and
so she was like, yeah, I think we're gonna go

(01:03:56):
to the Disney on Ice, like we went to for
fall break and then spring break or one of the two.
But you know, four or five months later, she want
to go Disney on Ice. We just spent an exorbitant
amount of money at Disney. So that was like the
is She always tells me, that's the one thing I've
put my foot down. And do you know what happened
last year? They went to Disney on.

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Ice without you?

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
Wow, And it was it was mid No, it's great,
it's a great time. See well they see in Molana
and I.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Know, but the girls had already got kind of grown
up a little bit. But anyways, if you go to
I still stand by this. If you go to Disney,
you don't need to go to Disney on Ice.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
You you can.

Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Get that close together.

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
Sean says, they sell beer. Yes, they sell alcohol. I'm
not going to dress. It's like it's at like ten
thirty in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
You responded so quickly though, with the affirmation, I've never
ever won specials before.

Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
I've never had a sip of alcohol at Disney on Ice. Okay,
I'm just saying it's a good time. It's gonna be
great just jamming with the fan, you know, listening to
some tunes, some Disney tunes, and watching some ice skating.

Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
It's great. Yeah. I think it's great too. Yeah, it's
for what the tickets costs. I was not thrilled that
that was like what they wanted to do when we
had just spent all this money on like going to Disney.

Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Sure, yeah, you're we get it, we get it. You're
you're a bad dad, all right, Uh well on behalf
of j J.

Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
I'm David and just We appreciate you all, We love
you all, and we'll see you next time. Here on
