Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're about to listen to the Late Round Fantasy Football Show,
which originally aired yesterday on YouTube. If you'd like to
catch it live, you can find it on the Late
Round Fantasy Football YouTube channel at one pm Eastern every
Friday during this twenty twenty five season. That's on YouTube
dot com slash at Late Round FF. So, without further ado,
(00:20):
here's this week's episode.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
All right, welcome in, JJ. How's it going. It's good.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I was just jamming to the intro. Honestly, like top
three intro in the game.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
I think the intro's fire. Everybody loves intro too.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
People hate the Late Round Fantasy Football podcast intro that's
been around for you know, eight years, as long as
the podcast as has been around, and uh, I think
there would be no controversy for the Late Round Fantasy
Football Show in that intro.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Well, we want to just welcome everybody in. Say, hey,
hang out with us. If you're hanging out with us live, great,
If not, leave a comment, let us know your thoughts
on whatever we're talking about today. We've got today's news,
we've got today's data, we've got the main event. JJ
is going to give another bold call. Last week, No
(01:34):
Victory lefs here. But last week, JJ, I do want
to say that you said two touchdowns for Mark Andrews.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
So yeah, big l yea big l I mean it
turns out he is dust, you know. I I but look,
he started really slow last year, and again we talked
about this, how like everyone like pointed to that car
accident that he was in and that was like the
reason why he was starting slow. But maybe it's just
like his body getting ramped up and then he'll eventually
(02:01):
just score a ton of touchdowns like you did last year.
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Unfortunately wasn't really high or low on them entering the year,
So it's just kind of whatever to me.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
And I know you're gonna want me to say it,
and yes you did. Your other bolt prediction was a
Detroit Lions forty burger.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
I got that wrong too, because they had a fifty burger.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
They had fifty. Yeah, so uh, just try harder, I guess,
is what we're trying to say. JJ. I want to
say thanks for our sponsor DraftKings, for sponsoring the show,
for sponsoring the whole Best Ball season. You can scan
the QR code and I get the free five dollars
(02:38):
ticket in there, if you're your if you're new, and
we appreciate you, DK and JJ. As far as like
this week goes, it just seems like every I don't know,
maybe this week, maybe this year because I'm I'm with
more in tune of the season long fantasy football, but
(02:59):
Week three is like serious panic money we see. I
saw at least like twenty memes about to two fantasy
football teams this year.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
There there's a lot of panicking. I think that there's
just more and more panicking as the years go on
because people like to get upset about more and more
things as the years go on, and there's more opportunity
to get upset about things and to panic about things
and to not just be level headed zend out a
little bit. It's not the end of the world. You're
gonna be okay. There's a lot of ways to make
(03:29):
your fantasy football team better. And that's what I'm here for.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Okay, all right, If if people are OO and two,
just know it'll it's gonna get better. My teams are
like most of my team's like one to one.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
I don't have a single and two team right now. Hey,
yeah I should, Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
A lot of O and two teams out there have
like Rashi Rice on the Squad. Yeah, you know, maybe
Chris godwins, but people are panicking. We're here to help
you get through that. And with that being said, JJ,
let's get onto today's news, today's fantasy news. All right,
(04:11):
Wuka is the first one uh at Mecca Buka he's
back at practice.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
JJ, Yes, thank goodness, right, that's that's that's my reaction
to that with with one as I'm you know what,
I'm not even gonna fix that typo I hit enter
before the second ass it's just thank goodness, yeah right now. Yeah,
I mean, look, I've seen a lot of takes uh
with Agbuka as a cell candidate, and Andy Baron's actually
(04:38):
brought it up on yesterday's Perspectives episode. I do think
that it's a reasonable take to just see what you
could fetch for Igbuka. My hesitation in doing it is
that I think he's very very good. You know what,
you know what, I gotta fix thiss, I gotta add
the s to goodness. It's it's driving me nuts. But
you know the thing with Agbuka, I know that his peripheral, like,
(05:00):
aren't amazing. You know, it's like nineteen percentage target share
or whatever like around that mark, and you know he's
obviously he's very clearly the number two to Mike Evans
and Chris Godwin's coming back and all of that. I
just don't think we should lose sight of the fact
that he's a rookie doing this like these are these
are the first two games of his NFL career where
he's doing this, and for some reason it sometimes feels
(05:23):
like we lose sight of that kind of thing and
we lose sight of that like same same deal with
with a lot of the rookie running backs, whether good
or bad or a lot of these like reactions that
are going on with these players. It's like, guys, it's
been two games and if they're showing out and showing
up already, which is why, you know, after week one,
I saw the peripherals with elk Iamnner and I'm like, okay,
(05:45):
like go go get him off the waiver wire now
before the production matches. And then the production matched a
little bit last week, and now it's difficult to get
elk Iamnner right when we see it happen with a rookie,
we should be pouncing. And I think that's why I'm
not fully on board with a Cell just because I
think he's a really good player. I get it, though,
I'm more neutral, like I don't think that's it's like
(06:07):
an obvious buyer cell situation, but I just can't be
all in on Cell.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yeah, no sun running there, all right. Jayden Daniels question
mark exclamation point was the next one. This was written
about an hour, I guess before the actual news came in.
Jade Daniels not going to play this week and it's
Marcus Mariota time. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
I think he's a really good streamer. I'll talk about
him later on the show, So I don't want to get,
you know, two into it, but I think Mariota, like
right now and my rankings, I had him as a
top fifteen quarterback. You know, I think that he's in
a similar tiers like a Michael Pennox. This week, I
actually have my head of Pennix. I'd have a hard
time probably playing him over a Jared Goff type where
(06:51):
GoF is in like a potential high scoring game. But
you know, there's a twenty three point ply total still
for Washington. I think Mariota is definite play.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, you know, I'm a big Mariota fan. I used
to call Mara Gota. You know, he's a Tennessee guy,
Titans guy. He was so nice, you know, you just
wanted you want, you want him to do well, and
so I want him to do well in Spots Stars.
He has done well and Spot Stars. He just he
can't be the guy. I don't think. All right, you
know what this one is, JJ, the Blue Box Blues.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
I am really really shocked by this.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Is this Does this have to do with the blue tent?
Speaker 2 (07:32):
No? Because you love a good jingle.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Yeah, the Blue Box Blues is that local?
Speaker 2 (07:40):
No, if Mama wants to please me, she's only got
to cheese me. Oh blues, you know that it is now?
I think I think raft Macaroni and cheese, Blue Box Blues.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Okay, I mean I figured it was a Tucker Craft
thing because it was a green and yellow headline. Yeah,
so that that was a big I'm just gonna put
panic in all caps because it was such a panic
whenever it happened.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
That was a big panic moment, right, Like.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
If there's one He is one of the handful of
players that I think people are associating with me this year,
and if Tucker Craft is out, then that's bad for
the Brand's bad for business, right, So I don't want
Tucker Craft to be out. I think he's in store
for a really good season. So the weird thing is
that they're giving us the the range of time missed
and it's crazy. Like at first it was like it
(08:30):
doesn't sound season ending, and it's like, Okay, well that's
not really encouraging, Like if you're talking about season no
one really went there, but you just went there, so
now we're thinking about it season ending. And then Matt
Lafleur was like, yeah, I don't like today. He said,
I don't think if he I don't think he's going
to go on IR. It's like, oh, I didn't even
know that it was a it was a possibility that
he was going to go on IR. So yeah, I mean,
I'm a little bit I'm a little bit concerned. I
(08:50):
don't think he's gonna go this weekend, just based on
the information we have right now. He didn't practice today.
Luke Musgrave is kind of a streamer, like a tight
end two I mean any end two is literally like
can he find the end zone? You know, so, you
know it's unfortunate can't start him this week. There's not
like a ton of obvious go to tight ends just
in general. But yeah, it's a it's an unfortunate situation.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
No read no Tucker Craft and we had to tuck
her craft as a tight end four and are in
your latest rankings. Yeah, but does that make you okay?
Wish with the you know, you think this might be
Golden's breakout week.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
I'm hoping a lot of the secondary numbers for Matthew
Golden aside from like his usage, but like I mean
target shair usage. I mean, if you look at some
of the fancy metrics that people look at, like separation
scores and stuff, he looks really good. And so I'm
intrigued by that. Uh you know, I said on the show,
I don't know how people can say that they're gonna
(09:53):
drop Golden right now. It's like he's finally getting this opportunity.
Guys like Jayden reads out, you don't you don't want
to drop him right now. So yeah, hopefully we get
some from Matthew Golden. This we got to start him
in the King's Classic League because it's such a deep
starting lineup.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's a fourteen team league, right, the King's Classic fourteen teamer.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
You start a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers,
three flex and a tight end.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
So who won last year in.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
The Snake Draft? I believe that was JJ Zacharic. And
who won last year?
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Who's number one in points this year?
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Number one points scored is JJ Zacheryes, oh.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
My gosh, yeah, we say dynasty. Tell all those to
all those fantasy animals.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
As all thanks to Javonte Williams.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
That's right. I really think I love how you no, lie,
I love how he fits this build. Was the message
you sent.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
I sent it. I literally sent a text message as
I'm drafting, because Kitchen was in the room, so everyone
knows as I'm drafting, I sent Kitchen a message. I go,
I think I'm gonna I'm gonna draft Davonte Williams because
he fits. He really fits his bill.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
You said, I low key love Javante, And at this
point Javante was like more of a punchline than a
fantasy asspect.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yeah, and then I ended up writing him. I think
as a player to avoid in the draft guide because
I got I got a pushed into a corner, you got,
you got blued. Yeah, I mean yeah, I got a
little blue pilled towards the uh you know, towards the end.
Didn't get enough Davante in my DraftKings, uh you know,
uh drafts and Best Ball drafts this summer, which is unfortunate.
But got Chavante in a league that I really really
(11:23):
really want to win, and that's that's important.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I should have used gotten blue pilled instead of gotten blued.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
That was Yeah, blue pilled was an easier one. But
but Likedvante Davante to me was like it was just
really hard for me to get behind like a running
back thirty four or whatever pre and like in that
draft when I took him amongst and I talked about
this on the mail bag, so I'm definitely uh repeating myself.
But in that draft, like he fell a lot and
(11:49):
no one wanted him, and I'm like, why would I
not take him?
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Right now?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
This seems insane. I got him probably at like RB
forty two or three or something like that in that draft.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Yeah, I was always high on Javonte just because of
what Rico did last year. It's like someone's got to
do something there, you know.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yeah, I just I just, you know, there were like
for Javante, it could have gotten a lot of different
directions this year. But yeah, in hindsight, I think that
it's very obvious that, you know, it's sometimes okay to
take the boring pick.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
The non sexy pick. All right, h Xavier Worthy of
our lineups this week, Xavier Worthy, he's been practicing. Apparently
he's uh, doesn't have any restrictions. Are you buying this?
Are you comfortable enough to put him in your lineup?
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Basically I'm saying a little nervous still. I think he's
like a wide receiver, high and wide receiver, like four
when you look at the whole landscape this week, so
you know, like outside the top thirty six or so,
just to be safe, like we just don't know what
this workload is going to look like. I also like
want him to play a lot in the slot because
that role has been really good for these pass catchers
(12:55):
in this offense. You know, Rashid Rice obviously has thrived there.
Marquis Brown, Hollywood Brown has played that role a little
bit to start the year, especially Week one, week two.
He didn't play as much there, and so if Worthy
were to play a little bit more in the slot,
they'd be helpful for his fantasy output. But I don't
know if they want to like put him in harm's
way like that, Like that's the middle of the field,
a lot of big hits and the potential for big hits.
(13:16):
I just don't know, So I think that you should
be a little bit nervous slotting him in your lineup.
I don't know if Kansas City's gonna face a really
positive like like passing script. They'll see a positive game
script more than likely, but like a passing script, I
just don't know if we'll see that. But then at
the same time, I mean that running game has been
not good to.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Start the They thought I thought I saw a tweet.
They thought Isaiah Pacheco would be the guy he has
not been. Yeah, yikes, all right, no pushy, no tushy.
I'm not sure if you saw this, JJ, but Chefty
says that they are instructing the officiating crew to call
the tush push much tighter this week.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, I mean I think that's good. Like I've I've
been pretty okay with the toush push. Yeah, from an
opinya point, like I don't it's part of the game
whenever they're not. But if they're breaking rules, they're breaking rules.
If they're if it's not getting called super tight, it
should be called tight. And man, I gotta tell you
last week was horrifically boring because of the touch push.
(14:17):
Like it's just it's it's just not an entertaining thing
to watch.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
It's better for fantasy if the toush push is not
a thing.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah, I mean I want them to like do fun
things on fourth and short, you know, and not just
line up that way.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
I got a little emotional because I'm like you, I haven't.
I haven't been, you know, upset really at all about
it just from a game standpoint. But when I saw
the pictures of the guys like clearly offsides before the
balls even snapped, and like, oh, okay, yeah, what are we
doing here? Because every time they get like a third
and one or a fourth and one, you just know
(14:55):
that there's gonna be two minutes, two extra minutes like
bled off the clock. Yeah, and that sucks his fancy analyst,
that's fun, Aaron Jones, I are and Mason he might
be moonbound JJ.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, I mean this. I'll say this about Jordan Mason.
I'll just repeat what I said in the mailbag. The
schedule looks good. They get the the AFC North, the
non Ravens AFC North teams over the next three weeks.
You know, Like I said on the show, I think
he's kind of a bye if you want to think
of it that way, just because my biggest question mark
(15:29):
with him was obviously the pass catching with Aaron Jones.
Now that Aaron Jones out of the way, they don't
have reliability, you know, in that backfield. So I think
that there could just be some default like easy like
he's not going to do crazy things as a pass catcher,
but just some easy dump offs and you know some
you know, like three or four catches is very possible,
despite the fact that he's never been that guy throughout
(15:49):
his career. I think it is possible in this system,
you know, with Carson Wentz, it's a really good matchup
this week in Cincinnati. I may or may not be
talking about him again later in the show too.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Okay, we've got Ladi McConkie with a biceps injury, but
he was a full practice participant. But are you at
all worried yet about Lad McConkey.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
How does a wide receiver get a byseeps injury like this?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Don't ask me.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not like massively concerned. Like like I
said on the ten Trends episode earlier this week, the
Chargers have a really crazy they've been eighty two percent
wide receiver target share right now, that's going that's going
to regret. And they've been really pass.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Heavy, very very pass heavy.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
That's gonna regress, right Like, They're not going to finish
the season more than likely with an eighty two percent
wide receiver target share. So right now, like what we're
looking at is, you know, Quentin Johnson basically seeing about
as many targets as Ladi McConkey, and then Keenan Allen
has been getting peppered with targets, right, I think Keenan
Allen is going to still see a lot of Look
(16:56):
like I liked Keenan Allen entering the year, So like
I'm gonna stick with my priors to it because it's
only been confirmed, right, and so I think Keenan Allen
is still gonna see a good target chair not as
high as it's been. But the one player that you
think would not be as affected by that regression would
be lat McConkey because he's the best wide receiver on
that team. So relax a little bit. There's gonna be
(17:18):
some regression for QJ. He's not gonna maintain this all
season long, even with Keenan Allen. You know, the injury
is not great. But I'm not like full blown panicking
with mcconkeye. Do I think mconkie's gonna give us a
great ceiling this year?
Speaker 2 (17:30):
No?
Speaker 1 (17:31):
No, Do I think that he's gonna be like a
massive end of Round two early round three bust? Probably
not there either. You know, it was a dead spot
in the draft. I think that that in hindsight, you know,
people should have been taking JSN over him. But you
know that's the same thing like there's gonna be one
or two guys that you're like, oh, I should have
done that. It's gonna happen, you know. So I think
(17:53):
it's fine overall with mconkeye.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Okay, uh, pretty pretty nice game time decision. I wasn't
even expecting this a second day in a row. He's practicing.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah, I'm saying how I'm just saying how again for
Brock Perdy, they said that he was going to be
out of potentially five weeks, and a lot of people
were saying that, like this is not a great injury,
you know, like it's very possible that he misses that
amount of time. You know, mac Jones looked good last week.
I think he can work in the system enough. But
if Perdy plays, you know, I do worry a little
(18:27):
bit about what the mobility upside looks like coming off
with a kind of injury. And that's really what has
separated Perdy a little bit more over the last year
is that he's running a little bit more. But I
think in this matchup, like Arizona's secondary is really beat up,
and so, uh, if he does play, I think that
he would be a viable option.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, there are some I mean, we need more quarterbacks
to play this week. Yeah, did you know, Like, can
you name all the backups playing this week?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Carson Wentz, Jake Browning, Yeah, Marcus Mariota, Yep, is there
another one?
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Who am I missing?
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Tyrod Taylor? Taylor?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
There you go?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, And then if if mac Jones plays instead of Party,
they'd be I guess five. And he also guy guy
guys like Spencer.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Rattler, right, and like Joe Flacco Joe Fla right.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
All right, another Texans wide receiver you know.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Too soon no to.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
A bless his heart. Yeah, although Tyreek did not help
him out. Can we talk about this just for a second.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Yeah, it's really wild to me that everyone, like I
didn't think to will look good last night, Okay, but
it's really wild to me that there are so many
people like yelling for Tua to be bench or for
Zach Wilson to get a shot or whatever. It's like
we completely forgot how unbelievably terrible the Dolphins offense was
like year without Tua. When Tua came back, they actually
(20:03):
averaged and from a touchdowns per game standpoint like a
top ten number in the league, fringe top ten when
Tua was under center, and then when he's not under center,
they were the worst offense that I've ever seen in
my entire life. So, like, I don't know, give him
a little big grace.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, I'm saying that he's obviously like spooked a little bit.
I think also just naturally as one would be, you got, yeah,
you know that pass rush against you. But I thought,
like that sixty yard bomb to Tyreek where Tyreek went
alligator arms, Yeah, that's a that's a that's a catch
that Tyreek should have and those other guys like knock
(20:38):
each other out, so it's like he catches that, he
walks the end zone. We're having a completely different conversation today.
You know. It's just a fact that, like I think
in the first half he had sixty six yards passing,
but they were doing decent. You know, the offense was
moving along fine. It was just that uh liked that
I in t is inexcusable.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
It was a really throw, really bad though.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Pump penalty sucked bad because I was like, let's get
some overtime, let's get more points. Yeah, all right, you
got Christian Kirk's coming back this week. Yeah, it affects
the offense at all because really there's there's not been
a lot of passing.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
How about this reaction to your little uh your little
news headline, no l right for for Jalen Nole. Oh right,
because now Jalen Nole is like he showed up last
week on special teams in that game. Uh, he's looked
like a pretty like dynamic player that you think would
(21:39):
maybe be able to get on the field more and
more now that Christian Kirk is back, Jalen Nole probably
won't be able to see the slot, which is his
natural position, and we're not going to see much of him,
which is unfortunate because I want to see more Jalen Nole.
But Christian Kirk, I think, you know, it's still a
really really good slot player and they need something like
that in this offense right now. Is an easy outlet
(22:00):
or c J. Stroud because he is under duress pretty consistently.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Okay, Sharps, I don't know if he's gonna be uh,
if he's gonna miss another practice today. We I'm not
sure yet. He did miss yesterday. I also saw where
they said basically, Seattle's got two starting running backs, like,
there's not that much of a difference between Sharps and
(22:25):
Kenneth Walker. But what's your thoughts on Sharp missing so
Walker can run?
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I mean, my overall thought is that Kenneth Walker is
better than Zach Sharbona when they're in a committee because
Kenneth Walker, this is what I talked about on ten trends,
Kenneth Walker can can be more efficient and have those
spiked plays that can give you the spiked weeks, and
you're gonna just have to take the valleys with those peaks.
With Kenneth Walker this year, it seems like, but I
would much rather have Walker than sharpone.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah. Walker said like he welcomed Sharbonay so he wouldn't
have to be the bell cow. Do you see that
quote this week?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
No, I mean I think a lot of running backs
would probably feel that way.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
They don't want to get beat up, and then yeah,
they welcome somebody there as long as it's like not
really threatening their job. I get it. Yeah, it's it's
kind of like why you brought me on board?
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Yeah, I'm not going to threaten your job, and I'm
gonna you know, I'm gonna take I'm gonna take some
of the carries that you don't want. That's right, what
I'm okay, I think that's it. Let's get on to
today's data.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Today's data, all right, So I give a put a
data dump together for like a spreadsheet together for patrons
every week. And this is one of the pages one
of the sheets that's in that spreadsheet that I produced,
and it gives you every team, their passing touchdowns, their
rushing touchdowns, their passing touchdown rate, So what percentage of
(23:50):
those touchdowns have come through the air, their rank within that,
and then it gives you expected passing touchdown rate. This
is a really basic formula where I take, uh, the
the pass rate of a certain team or of all
the teams, and it gives you what you would expect
their passing touchdown rate to be based on that overall
pass rate. So a team that's more pass heavy would
(24:13):
obviously have a higher expected passing touchdown rate because when
you're passed heavy, more of your touchdowns generally come through
the air. Now, obviously it's not going to always happen,
but you can see here like it's really early in
the season, And this is why I want to call
it out, because you know, you can really drive home
some narratives right now about certain players and such and
say this guy's really good, or you know, this is
(24:33):
something that that we should avoid based on two games.
It's really early to do that kind of stuff like
that definitively. And you can see, like, for instance, Dallas
right now, Dallas has two passing touchdowns to four rushing touchdowns,
but based on their pass rate, they're they're pass that.
So that's a thirty three percent passing touchdown rate, right,
So thirty three percent of their touchdowns have come through
(24:54):
the air, but based on their pass rate it should
be like seventy two percent, and that's a difference of
like three thirty nine percentage points, which means moving forward,
we shouldn't expect Javonte Williams to score as many touchdowns
and we should expect more touchdowns to come through the air.
Another example of that is with Philadelphia obviously because they
haven't thrown a passing touchdown yet after two games. And
(25:14):
then on the reverse side, you can look at San Francisco.
The forty nine ers don't have a single rushing touchdown
yet when they should, so it's one hundred percent their
pass rush touchdown ratio and rate, but they should be
at like sixty two to sixty three percent based on
their pass rate as a thirty eight or thirty seven
to thirty eight percent difference. So this is just something
that you can get in the late round Fantasy Football Patreon,
(25:37):
within that spreadsheet, within that data dump every week. I
think it's interesting to kind of look at and just
see where regression might be hitting. Those are the teams
to call out right now. There's some other ones, like
the Chargers haven't had a rushing touchdown yet, like that's
gonna regress, you know.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Titans.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah, well the Titans only have one touchdown. So so
that's that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
With you kids. A couple of good defenses, the Titans.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
The Titans are the worst team in total touchdowns. They
have one touchdown right now. There are some times the
other teams with two include the Raiders, Texans. Those are
the only two.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
So you know, it was crazy, is that stat you
gave maybe the trends where the Titans have only thrown
like one pass to a running back.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Two running back targets through two weeks.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
That is crazy. Yeah, it's ridiculous when they've lost both games. Yeah,
it's pretty insane. It's pretty insane. It's a little bit
worrisome too, because.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
I those kinds of things, like when you see it
that dramatically and there's a new quarterback and stuff, you
have to think that it might be a quarterback tendency thing,
and that's a little bit scary for a guy like Pollard.
And then Tajy Spears when he returns.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Yeah, I've seen a lot though. Also they're talking about
like just a play calling and they're just to play calling.
They're just like sending guys down the field. They need
to they need to help Ward out more. But I'm
just gonna call it right now. Titans shocked world this week. Yeah,
Colts come back to Earth.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
I mean, well, the cults are the cults are playing
outside for the.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
From the road in this heat, in this Tennessee heat,
JJ with the fresh haircut.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
This is what Index of Suspicion is saying. I have
a fresh haircut, like I'm about to order too Heinekens
and a Yeager Bomb.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I got a haircut.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Yes, what you're saying, I got a bro haircut. Yeah,
I get faded up, guys. I go to a barber
in my downtown area and I get faded up and
it's a great time. If you guys need a recommendation
in my head, I.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Think you might. Did you ever see that video back
in the day, It's like Jaeger Bomb, Jaeger Bomb got
a fresh haircut, Like it's like an old old school
Is that what it's referencing YouTube? I don't remember that
Jaeger Bomb Jaeger bomb. All right, bot being says looks good,
thank you, thank you. All right, let's uh, do you
have anything more for today's data?
Speaker 1 (27:52):
That's it? Okay, it's the late round, main event. We're
on to the main event. As always, I'll give you
some players that I like more than consensus. This week,
we'll talk some bold predictions, which I have three of
them for week three. That's not like a trend. I'm
not gonna do four for week four and five for
week five. That's not a thing that I'm gonna be doing.
(28:14):
There was just one that I had to throw in there,
and then I do a look ahead waiver wire. Let's
look at quarterback first. I know I just took over hosting,
didn't I.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
JJ I'm gonna look at quarterback first. I like Caleb
Williams this week.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Oh oh, so now you're gonna be me. Okay, I'm
gonna go Caleb Williams this week as my quarterback that
I am higher on versus consensus. I have my QB
eight consensus QB ten. I could even have them higher.
I think shootout potential in this game against Dallas. Dallas
right now, it's early, but they're the second best matchup
(28:49):
by justin points allowed to quarterbacks, they've allowed eighty three
point three more passing yards to be thrown on them
versus expected, and that expected is just based on the
fact that they played Philadelphia, then they played the Giants,
and it looks at and calculates how those teams played
against their other opponents versus how they played against Dallas. Now,
obviously that's skewed because the Giants went nuts on them
(29:10):
this past week. So obviously that's why the number looks
the way that it does. But that also should give
you confidence about how big of a game Caleb Williams
might be able to have. He has eleven rush attempts
in two games that first week, he had a good
scramble rate. Last week, it was still a decent enough
scramble rate, but it was you brought down to earth
a little bit. I just like this game a lot.
I think that this could be the highest scoring game
of this week slate, And so I'm going to lean
(29:33):
on Caleb Williams.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Yeah, it's I mean, we hope that it's going to
be a good game. And with Kayleb Williams, you've got
another bear.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
I do I think that I'm like six spots higher
with DeAndre Swift versus consensus consensus like RB thirty ish,
I'm a RB twenty four. Dallas has been a little
bit better against the run than the past, but they've
still been pretty bad against the run. Swift did see
his backfield share numbers kind of dip last week and
get a little bit worse, but there was a weird
(30:04):
game script against that Detroit team that put up a
fifty burger, as we've talked about, and so I still
think DeAndre Swift is going to be their primary guy
back there, and maybe they use Kyle Mnungai a little
bit more. I don't know if Rochean is back yet
or practicing or or there hasn't been any I mean,
(30:26):
is there one player on this earth that has gotten
less coverage this summer and into the season than Roshan Johnson.
It's like he's a forgotten player.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
I'm not even gonna get hopes up because like Jalen
Wright was supposed to be back, I was like, oh,
maybe he will do something, and he did not do anything. Yeah,
he didn't think the opposite.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
No, I'm just saying like, like I do think that
given the fact that. I don't think Manong Guy is
like a massively effective player or is going to be.
I do think that there's at least an opportunity for
Rochean to maybe eventually, you know, get some work. But
you know, this game, uh, you know, if you look
at Week one with Chicago Minnesota, that was a closer
(31:05):
game than what we saw in Week two. And in
that game, DeAndre Swift saw all of their running back
rushes almost a seventy percent route participation rate. I mean,
his backfield chair was awesome. I thought he looked good
in that game too. So I think Swift is a
really good play this week. Like I think he's a
low end RB two, high end RB three. And you know,
people don't like DeAndre Swift because of what he's done historically.
(31:26):
But if he's the RB one for Chicago in this
game and it's going to be you know, we're projecting
it to be high scoring, then he should score some
fantasy points.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Yeah. We just need this to be like close, high
scoring close. Just don't get blown out by three touchdowns
in the fourth quarter. And uh and we're good there,
all right, speaking of the team that blew them out,
but didn't this guy to do anything. Jamison Williams.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
He had a huge game last week. Yeah, he just didn't.
He just didn't have a huge volume game.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
He didn't have an a Monro game.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
No, he didn't have an I'm a same Brown game.
But he still came through. He had a big touchdown.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
He had like one touchdownl Right now, I have to
go back and look at the game Longs.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Yeah, he only had like a fourteen percent target chair,
but he came through with a decent fantasy stat line
because he was able to convert on a on a
deep one.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
All right, talk, you talk. I will look up his
stat line.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
This game Jamo against Baltimore. I'm seven spots ahead of
consensus with him. I could have gone Roma Dunza here too,
because I'm really high in a Duneza versus consensus this week.
I don't think consensus has caught up to how good
a Doonsay started the season. It's very clear to me
that he's the wide receiver one, which is going to
help my bold prediction that I had in the in
the Bold Prediction show from a newsletter slash show from
(32:43):
the beginning of the season. What are you gonna say
about jo.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
No, you're correct, he didn't have a big game less
we he had one hundred and eight yards receiving and
a touchdown, right that come off that came off of
two passes.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Right, Well, he had he had a fourteen percent target
chair Yeah, yeah, yeah, so he had sixty four yard
and then a forty four yarder. Yeah. So they use
them in a big play, you know, capacity, and they
clearly last week. The game plan was we have a
mismatch with alm and Rossain Brown, we're gonna exploit it.
But with this game against Baltimore, you have more passing
(33:16):
potential because Detroit is an underdog, a decent underdog in
this game in Baltimore. He's had a one hundred percent
route participation rate this year. I think that if you
just match the route participation with the target share, that
target share should increase for Jamison Williams. So I'm I'm
still pretty optimistic about JMO. You know, it was good
to see the offense get get rolling a little bit yesterday.
(33:39):
I don't think that this matchup is like, you know,
immensely scary, just because there's a back and forth nature
to this game. That's that's possible and so That's why
I like Jamison Williams, you know, more than consensus does
this week, or at least that's why I'm guessing. I
think that the consensus is looking at his target share
and saying that's what it's going to be from here
on out. But I don't think it has to be
that way.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Consistence is doing what I was doing just now.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Yeah, they're making the assumption that he had a horrible game.
He came through.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
He came through.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah, he was fine. He's won for two this year.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
That's right, all right, you got Uh, it's a tight end.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, Kyle Pitts at tight end. I mean, look, this
is arguably the best matchup on paper. Carolina has already
not been good against tight ends to start the year.
They were worse against the position last year. Kyle Pitts
has seen target shairs of nineteen percent and twenty four
percent over his first two games. Uh, he's had a
ninety six percent. He had a ninety six percent route
share last week. I have met tight end eleven, consensus
tight end fourteen. I think Pitts is a very very
(34:33):
good play. I could even see him moving up a
little bit if I you know, move things around, you know,
like because I do move things around after you know,
like recalculating some projections and just kind of thinking about
things more. Uh, you know, with with the week slate,
like there's a possibility he even moves up a little bit.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Okay, I've got that's who I traded Gretch for in
the Stacked League?
Speaker 1 (34:56):
What was that trained?
Speaker 2 (34:57):
So I traded Hollywood Brown because I had I had
Dallas Goddard and he was hurt so and I couldn't
drop anybody because my team was so deep with running
backs receivers. So I traded him Hollywood Brown for Kyle Pitts.
Ended up getting to win, but he took out Wanda
Robinson to start Hollywood Browns. It cost him to win.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
And that was the right move. It was the right process,
right Yeah, all right, we.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Go bold predictions for Week three. You can't go five
hundred on here, so let's try to go for two
for three, all right.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
The first one, Nico Collins I think has his nuclear game, Like, I.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Think he goes on board with this.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
I think he goes nuts this week. All right. So far,
the Texans have faced the Rams and the Buccaneers, both
of those teams, right, now their top eight and pressure rate,
and I know that those numbers include their games against Houston,
but they were also good at getting in the quarterback
in the other games as well. Like they can generate pressure,
the Rams can generate pressure, and the Bucks have done
a good job this year. They actually had more pressures
against Atlanta than they did against Houston this past week.
(36:01):
So that's the big fear with the Houston Texans and
the you know in the offense is the offensive line
is that it's just not very good. And so if
they can get a little bit more protection for CJ. Stroud,
you were able to develop some of those down the
field looks. Nico Collins last week still had a thirty
nine percent target share. I know Christian Kirk is back,
(36:23):
but that might also open things up a little bit
for Nico to have a couple of big plays. Jacksonville's
not a tough matchup on paper. I think this could
be the week that Nico Collins like really really bounces back.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
I'm here for it. And if you look last week,
we were talking a little bit before the show, maybe
we were talking this morning. He almost had a few
like good, they're just say little off. We had nine
targets just couldn't connect last week. Yeah, easier opponent.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
I thought Stroud didn't play very well last week either, Right,
that plays a role.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Again. We've talked about that offensive line too. They just
have to get their stuff together as well. Where he's
not seeing ghosts out there. All right, you got Jordan
Mason as a top six running back.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Yeah, so Jordan Mason. You know. Look, I talked about
this earlier. I talked about this on the mail bag.
I have genuine questions about how good of a pass
catcher he is. With that being said, I then talked
about it on Perspectives with Andy Barns, and I mentioned
the idea that I've always talked about where I talk
(37:27):
about things. I don't know if you guys realize this
or not. I talk about a lot of things when
it comes to what yeah, yeah, but it's this idea
that like how much of a negative is? Like I
don't think he's Tank Bigsby bad as a pass catcher,
you know, I don't think that he's Brian Robinson bad as.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
A pass catcher. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
I should say we don't know for sure because he
played with Jamiir gibbson College. You could make the argument
very easily that he only had like a three percent
target share last year in San Francisco, And why was
that the case Because Isaac Garrendo stepped in and he
had a better target share than Jordan Mason did. So
I think there's like reason to be like cautious and
concerned here. With that being said, he had a fourteen
(38:07):
percent target share last week, the highest of his career,
only second time that he's been over a ten percent share,
and this offense might need that outlet for Carson Wentz
and they get a really great matchup against Cincinnati. So
the bold prediction here is that Jordan Mason is a
top six running back this week, even in PPR formats.
And the question I'm asking is, you know, we've seen
(38:29):
other quarterbacks perform well in this Kevin O'Connell system. What
if Carson Wentz is okay?
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:37):
What if he's fine?
Speaker 2 (38:38):
What if this is a shootout between Carson Wentz and
Jake Browning.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
I don't think that's gonna happen, but maybe it happens.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
I'm already gonna pencil you in for one of your
quadbox games to be oh, boy Cincinnati.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Minda, oh boy, we don't need it.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
Right, you got a bonus one here and we just
talked about him. It's the goat Marcus Maragota.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Yeah, I think Mariota could be a time a quarterback
this week. Okay. So last year he entered two games
for this Washington offense. This is with Cliff Kingsbury obviously
as offensive coordinator, and he ran the ball a lot, right,
So the first game he entered, it was against the Panthers,
and it was pretty early on in that game. Now,
he obviously didn't like get reps as a starter because
Jade Daniels got hurt and like Carolina wasn't prepared for him,
(39:21):
and Carolina's defense was future last year and it's bad
this year too. But in that game, he ended up
running the ball eleven times, you know, thirty four yards
in the ground. Some of those were nils at the
end of the game. But he was effective. He had
like two hundred and five yards through the year, a
couple of touchdowns and then and then later in the
season last game of the year, they were they were
it was a if I if I remember correctly, it
(39:44):
was for precautionary reasons. That they took Jayde Daniels out
of the game because you know, they were about to
go into the playoffs. They didn't need to win that game.
And Marcus Mariotto came in like during the second half
of that game, and he was a beast on the ground.
So in two and in like a game and a half,
Mariota had sixteen rush attempts for ninety yards in the
rushing touchdown. So I think that there's we know that
(40:06):
he can run the ball, so there's juice there. I
think this offense is just decent for a backup quarterback
to step in because there's some really easy reads in
this offense and some stuff you know, like I always
talk about, like click, Cliff Kingsbury likes to work horizontally
and stuff give you those easy like to debo and
to and hopefully McLaurin can get going a little bit more.
I do worry a little bit about not having an
(40:27):
obvious pass catching back, you know, with Austin Eckler out,
but they still have a twenty three point implied total.
I have Mariota ranked, like I said, at like QB
fifteen or something this week, but I think that he
could be a top eight quarterback. So that's gonna be
a bold prediction for me this week.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah. I mean if you look at his so they
had the when he came and played against Carolina started
against Carolina eighteen for twenty three two or five yards passing,
two passing touchdowns, and thirty four yards rushing. They won
(41:03):
forty to seven.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
I think the week eighteen game is when they played
against Dallas, correct, So that's why they kind of took
out Jayde Danis. They didn't want him to play two
passing touchdowns fifty six yards rushing in a rushing touchdown. Yeah,
that's what you want.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Very possible that he gives us a very usable performance
this week, and it's against the defense that we're not
that scared of.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Yeah. It's just nice when so many people are looking
for quarterbacks that Tea is an option this week. So
if you haven't already considered him, maybe you should do. So.
All right, let's get to the look ahead waiver wire,
and you've got a familiar name on here from the offseason,
the preseason, Brishard Smith. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Look, I think that there's a possibility that the Chiefs
run game like if they can't go get it going
against the Giants this week. That's going to be a
problem because the Giants haven't been mackreat against the run
to start the year, and you know, there could be
a positive game script, so they should like they're gonna
need them to get going a little Brishard Smith to me,
could be like a Jeric McKinnon in this offense. Now,
(42:04):
he doesn't have that much experience as a pure running back,
but he's a converted wide receiver. When he played running
back last year, he put up really good numbers. He's explosive.
He's a type of player that they don't have right
now in that offense when they need that explosion, they
need that athleticism. And so I'm intrigued by Bershard Smith
as a pick up right now before they unleash him
(42:26):
a little bit, because if they unleash him even like
to a thirty percent snapshare or something, and they give him,
you know, three or four targets this week, not to
say that's gonna happen, but that's enough for people to
jump on the waiver wire and want to get Burshard Smith.
And so I'd rather be I've been adding him in
leagues right now just to get ahead of the game
(42:47):
a little bit, and if it doesn't come to fruition,
it doesn't come to fruition, it's fine. You know, I'm
just saying I think that this is a very logical
move to make because Isaiah Pachecko and Kareem Hunt are
not getting it done three point six yards.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
Prepare for both of them. ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano said, uh,
I'll just read what he said. Don't be surprised. At
some point soon rookie Brichard Smith gets a shot there
we go. They view him as a different kind of
back from those two, more of a receiver type who
can make explosive plays in space. Once they trust the
rookie to handle all the running back responsibilities, he could
(43:19):
be a factor in there.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
Off. We talked about this a little bit, I think
on the Tuesday show, on the Waiver Wires show, we
did Patrons where I brought up Brichhard Smith there too,
because you know, whenever you have.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Someone asked for a look ahead, look ahead waiver Wires
what it was, yeah, right, right because Smith?
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yeah, yeah. And But like the thing is is that,
like I'm always intrigued by players who in backfields who
just do something different than what they already have and
if what they already have is not working. So like
this is the difference between what's going on in Dallas
versus what's going on in Kansas City. Javonte Williams is performing,
he's giving production. They've been fine, right, Like there's I
do think that Jayden Blue is a lot different than
(43:56):
Javonte Williams. But the difference is that check and Cream
Hunt have not been good. Like Kareem Hunt looks like
he's running in mud. Isaiah Pachecko is not decisive. Yeah,
and they need something that is dynamic back there, and
that player might be Burchard Smith.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
I will say, if there's a week for Pacheco to
get righted, be this week.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Yeah yeah. I mean, like I don't even mind Pochecko
as like a you know RB three type this week,
like high end RB three. I'm just saying, we got
to look at all the range of outcomes here and
and you got to ask the question, what if Pachecko
does not perform very well this week, or what if
they want to change things around and and get that
that uh, you know, dynamic ability back there. That's gonna
(44:38):
be brehard Smith as.
Speaker 2 (44:40):
Someone who picked up Ray Davis as a potential waiver
wire guy before last night. Yeah, I'm really I'm really
wishing it was Burshard Smith.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Yeah at this point. Yeah, well, if you're on if
you're on Yahoo, you can you can drop guys that
are on your bench in a lot of leagues. Really yeah,
if you're playing on on Yahoo, do.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
You do you like that? No? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (45:04):
I like when players lock because you got to have conviction.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
That's right. All right, speaking of conviction, this guy we
had a lot of conviction about.
Speaker 1 (45:12):
As a prospect. As a prospect, Yeah, we knew. We
knew that Luther Burdon would get off to a slow start.
They like alamide z a Chias. This is just a
call out of watch his snapshare, maybe it increases a
little bit more. This is sort of like you know,
with like Isaac Tesla last week that we had talked about.
We saw Isaac Tesla's snapshare improve a little bit more,
and then he made another you know, like crazy catch
(45:35):
like he's it's it's a let's just see if Burdon
gets more of a gets more work this week. Because
they need to change something within that team. Mostly on
defense in my opinion, but still, you know, bur Burden
might see more more work.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
All right, I almost have to put this guy's in
the news section. But Isaiah is likely to play this week.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Yeah, I don't know why Isaiah Likely is still out
there in so many leagues, Like even in leagues that
I'm in where I'm playing with like other analysts and stuff,
people have forgotten about him.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Yeah, people, Jones. I mean it's you know, they just yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
And Mark Andrews is not playing well right now. Uh,
there's plenty of target share up for grabs in that
offense because Zay Flower is not going to maintain a
forty percent target share this year. So I'm I'm kind
of intrigued by Isaiah Likely. I've been. I've been adding
him in a lot of spots. I think he should
be added before this week because if he goes, then
everyone's going to have him on their radar.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
Okay, next one, you almost had this as a fifteen
transactions Yep, I did, Coker.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
Jalen Coker. Uh, if you want to just get ahead
of you know, xavierly Get not being a very good
player and or at least a start worthy player. Uh,
Coker could be back in week five, so you're just
getting ahead of things with him being on IR If
he is out there and you're in your league, all right,
is this.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
A day late and dollars short? Oli Gordon?
Speaker 1 (46:59):
Well, but Gordon on there? Like I did with the
Thursday Night guys last week with uh, you know the the.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Washington Running asked me as he said, is this cheating?
And I said no, I don't think it's cheating. So
I don't think I'll alert ahead to next week's wherever wire.
Speaker 1 (47:11):
I haven't looked at the at the backfield shares yet
from from last night. Just been busy this morning, but
I do think that he's past the eye test, Like
I think Alli Gordon looks good in that like short yardage,
you know, bigger bodied role. And then there's the upside
of injury to Devon ah Chan too, And I liked
Gordon as a prospect, so I think he makes a
(47:32):
lot of sense to someone to add this week.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Okay a Chan played seventy three percent of snaps, yeah,
and ran eighty percent of the routes, twenty seven percent
of the targets, Gordon twenty four percent of the snaps,
thirty eight of the rushing attempts, only six percent of routes.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Yeah, I think that's roster worthy when you're considering he's
probably the goal line guy.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
He's a rookie and if something happened to an then
he could just go nuclear.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Yeah he looked.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
He looked so good last night. Yeah, all right, this
is the the defense. You get the Pats and they're
playing Carolina next week.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yeah, they're at home against Carolina next week. That's all
you need to know. New England's now Christian zales I
keep bringing I was bringing him up a lot on
the Sleeper Show because if he's out, I think he's
gonna play, because he's been practicing all week. But if
he's out, you know, Aaron Rodgers becomes relevant and stuff.
But I think that he's a huge piece to that defense,
in that secondary. So yes, him being back I think
could change the dynamic of that of that defense. And
then playing Carolina next week is a really good matchup
(48:30):
for defensive streaming purposes.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
Yeah, I'm actually a Pats defense fan this year.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
I mean, they've been horrible to start the year. They
kind of yes, mean they've been really bad to start
the year.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
Let me finish, Let me finish. Don't panic. Harold Landry
has not been horrible. He's been really good. He was
the the edge rusher from the Titans, so we got
to know their family here. He actually has more sacks
than the Titans do through two games. Just he he's
home three and a half sex, so they go putting
(49:06):
pressure on them. Okay, all right, that's it for the
main events. Are you ready to wrap this up? All right,
we've got the quad box. These are the four games
we're looking forward to watching. I'm gonna let you go
(49:27):
first because I already know from what we've talked about
what your what your game is gonna.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
Be Cowboys Bears as my top one. I gotta I
just I'm really like, I think there's a lot of
fantasy potential in this game, and a lot of fantasy
players that we look at. Look at you just randomly capitalizing.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
No, what what does that bark you? No?
Speaker 1 (49:51):
I think it's it adds character, it does bother No.
I really I really am interested in watching the Cowboys
Bears game, not just because I think there'd be a
lot of scoring, but I have a lot of Cowboys
and Bears in my fantasy teams this year.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
Yes, all right, Cowboys and Bears one of the top
uh Glyn and Ravens for the only game that projected
to score more points. And those two aren't even close
to the rest of the games. So okay, looking at
these at these games, man, some of them are going
(50:24):
to be pretty brutal. So I'm gonna go with one
that I'm interested in, and that is this, this Chiefs
Giants games.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
Yeah, no one is interested in the Chiefs Giants game.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
But what if here's what here? What if? What if
it is like we didn't we didn't think last week
was gonna be that good of a like a fantasy game.
And look what Molak neighbors did. I am just I
want I want the whole Russ Wilson Bleak name thing
(51:00):
to be a thing, and I want like a high
scoring game.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
There was a report today saying that Jackson Dark could
start next week.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Yeah, so that's even more reason.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
Yeah, but that's yeah, let's just go with the guy
that might be benching on what an intriguing game?
Speaker 2 (51:19):
No, did you like the Cowboys and Giants game last week? Yes?
Or no? No?
Speaker 1 (51:25):
But that doesn't mean it's gonna repeat. It could though
it's what I'm saying it could there are you just
took that game over Lions Ravens.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
Yeah, Lions Ravens was the easy one.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Okay, Well put Ravens up there because that's part of
our quad box we got. I cannot believe that I'm
gonna be sitting at this quad box watching these games
and it's gonna be Chiefs Giants.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
I have, so I've got a bunch of neighbors, though,
I've got a lot of Xavier Worthy. I want this
off this Chiefs offense. I want them to figure it out.
So that's that's why.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
Maybe Lions Ravens next.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
Okay, I'll put lines in Ravens for mine, and then
you got to come up with another game that you're
looking forward to.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
It's a bad slate. Yeah, I think that there's intrigue
with the backup Quarterback Bowl with the Vikings and Bengals.
But I'm gonna go Rams Eagles for the other one.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
Yeah, that was the other one. I was considered.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
The Rams played them well in the playoffs last year.
You know, maybe we uh we see the Eagles passing
attack do a little bit better this week and get
a little bit more juice going. Yeah, after playing you know,
so conservatively in week one and then having to play
in Kansas City in week two, but you know, evidently
the Giants are going to be better than the Eagles
(52:45):
were offensively last week.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Okay, someone doesn't like island games and guys going off
in island games. Do you remember a Sunday night football
game where mister Odell Beckham just went nuclear? It had
the one handed cat.
Speaker 1 (53:01):
Yeah, we definitely should. We definitely should be choosing our
quad box based on something that happened eleven years ago.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
Yeah, okay, here's the thing with the quad box. I'm
glad you picked Rams Eagles because that's the one o'clock game.
We got two afternoon games with Cowboys and Bears, Lions
and and then Chiefs. No, when's the lines of Ravens play.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
That's Monday night? We got we got, we got one
from every single so.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
We got we have it covered. This is perfect, This
is perfect. You not liking island games.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
I love island games. I just hate island games when
they start at ten pm Eastern. Yeah, it's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
So you're not You're not gonna watch the Giants and
Chiefs game.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
No, I'll watch that game because it's not gonna start
at ten thirty or ten o'clock. I even watched the
ten o'clock game because I had to.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
Kitchen wants to live a little JJ, thank you. We
have one person that voted for the Rams and Eagles
or another person, thank you Rams Eagles. That have is
the game that people are excited about, so we captured
that could be.
Speaker 1 (54:06):
A pretty boring game realistically. Yeah, the possibility that it's
not that back and forth.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Yeah, Chiefs Giants can be more exciting than Rams Eagles.
I don't know about that much, unlimited. That's that's all
you need to know.
Speaker 1 (54:21):
I would say that a game that would be more
entertaining than Chiefs and Giants would be the Texans Jags.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
If you like drama, if you like soap operas.
Speaker 1 (54:33):
Yeah, and I like fantasy football.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
Yeah, I think the Titans and Colts would be the game.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
Oh my gosh, get out of here.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
People think people think that Titans up.
Speaker 1 (54:45):
Tuning in because you're Titans homerism.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
But this would be the week though you agree, right?
Speaker 1 (54:51):
No? No, actually I don't. I don't really want to
watch a team that has one offensive touchdown through two
weeks and has targeted their running backs twice. Oh my gosh,
Titans offense has been horrible.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
Did you like watch the Dolphins game last night?
Speaker 1 (55:09):
Yeah? Because they actually played well exactly, they played well.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
Also, what the Titans play well?
Speaker 1 (55:15):
The Titans haven't done anything.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
I realized that, and that's what I'm saying, Like it's
they're due for at least something. Give cam Ward the
keys and just let him drive this. It's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
What could go wrong?
Speaker 2 (55:27):
