Hey, this is DJ Jazzy Jeff and I'm Ada Osman
and welcome to bel Air, the official podcast from the
New Peacock original series Bellair. I am so excited to
be here and so excited to be co hosting the show.
How are you feeling, Jeff? I am so good. This
show hits so close to home, being from Philly West
Philly born and raised and watching this show take off

from Philadelphia. Yes, I'm so excited to get to the
hard hitting stuff about your neighborhood, how it's exemplified in
the show. We'll be sitting down with the cast and
crew that made this show of reality and personally being
from the original cast, I can't tell you how excited
I am to have these discussions. Oh, I cannot agree
with you more. I am so excited to dive into

the show and have these real life, authentic conversations that
are true to us and to the culture. We're fascinated
to get into what separates this fresh reimagining from the
original series and to see how Bellair is paving its
own path. And we'll be joined by some amazing guests
like the show's creator Morgan Cooper. Jeff, what you Guys
did is so incredibly iconic and can never be done again.

To try to do that same thing and reboot it
in the same way you Guys did it would have
been just a disservice to everybody because you can never
match what you Guys did. And so many more people
will be covering all the things happening on screen, the
important things to look out for, and how the show
is using its voice and platform to talk about what's
happening in the real world. It's a culture podcast. Yeah,
it's a TV podcast, but it's not a recap podcast period.
