6 октября исполняется 20 лет с тех пор как, в 1998 году, скончался Ролан Быков. Народный артист СССР, актер, режиссер и сценарист детского театра и кино, был известен своими ролями в детском кино, как, например, Бармалей в “Айболит 66”, и своим фильмом 1983 года, “Чучело”, которое стало культовым.
Весной 1998 года, Русская служба Би-би-си пригласила Быкова, приехавшего в Лондон на презентацию фильма “Чучело”, принять участие в программе “Севаоборот”. Там он рассказывал о том, как он долго искал актрису на роль “Чучело” пока не нашел Кристину Орбакайте, о своей жизни в кино и в театре, и также читал стихи - собственные и других поэтов.
