The Department of Homeland Security says they have received intelligence on an Iranian plot to assassinate former President Trump. Trump has been a target of Tehran since the killing of Iranian military leader Qasem Soleimani in January 2020. The Iranian plot is not said to have any connection to the attempted assassination over the weekend but the concerns over outdoor campaign events have increased exponentially.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Dan Hoffman, Fox News Contributor and Former CIA Chief of Station, who says these sorts of threats are being discovered by intelligence agencies more than we know.
