יעל אדר, אמו של תמיר אדר ז"ל החלל החטוף, סיפרה בפרק מיוחד לציון יום הזיכרון לחללי מערכות ישראל ופעולות האיבה על הקושי לסגור מעגל כשתמיר עדיין שם. "אני מבינה שכנראה שתמיר לא בחיים, אבל עוד לא הייתי באבל, כי אין קבורה, אז זה לא מחלחל. אולי אתמוטט כשיחזירו אותו, כי אני עדיין מדמיינת וחולמת שהוא בחיים, אבל לפחות נוכל להתחיל להשתקם".
וגם: על הרגע שבו התחילה להבין שהמודיעין שתמיר בחיים ככל הנראה שגוי, על הדרך בה בישרו למשפחה שתמיר נרצח עוד ב-7 באוקטובר, ההחלטה לא לקיים הלוויה אבל כן לשבת שבעה והמסר שאחיה שהציל את סינוואר העביר לו - והגיע ליעדו.
