הסופר אשכול נבו נולד בירושלים בפברואר 1971.
כבר בילדותו ובנעוריו הוא עבר עם משפחתו מסע נדודים בין בתים רבים. דבר שבדיעבד, השפיע על כתיבתו ועל מהותו כסופר. עד כה, הוא הוציא לאור תשעה ספרים למבוגרים וספר ילדים אחד. ספריו תורגמו לשפות רבות וזיכו אותו בפרסים רבים.
בפרק היום ישתף אותנו נבו בתהליך כתיבת ספרו ״גבר נכנס בפרדס״ שיצא לאור באפריל 2021.
ספר אחד אשר בנוי משלושה סיפורים שונים, שנכתב בתקופת הקורונה.נשמע ממנו כיצד נולדו עלילות הסיפורים, איך כותבים ספר בתקופת הקורונה, כאשר הכל מסביב מעורער והאם זה השפיע על תהליך הכתיבה ונבין איך אדם, שמגדיר את עצמו כאדם חילוני, כותב ספר שכל מהותו הוא בכלל סביב סיפור תלמודי.
