Maria Antónia Oliveira nasceu em Viseu em 1964. Dedica-se desde 2002 ao género biográfico. Escreveu o livro Os Biógrafos de Camilo (2010, tese de doutoramento), uma biografia de Alexandre O’Neill, Uma Biografia do Ar.Co (2014) e está atualmente a trabalhar numa biografia de Cesário Verde. É professora de Escrita de Biografia na Universidade Nova de Lisboa -- que eu saiba, a única cadeira sobre este tema em Portugal.
