was really confident. I you know, went in strong and
then I like it was really scared. But all the
guys that I went up there with, they were like
really confident and just did it so easy like feelers

and yeah I was I was self. But it was
a really fun experience South Australia. Thank you for giving
us that opportunity to go do that. And it was
a hot day. I mean we were sweating in these suits.
But one experience it was incredible. Just like literally climbed
the top of that the oval.

Is Adelaide over the best ground to watch footy out
in Australia And I'm saying this without having been to
the new of the stadium, which I hear is a leak.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, that's the same as me. I would love to
go up the stadium. But I've put this in there
because that is the best sporting ground overall. Like food, drinks,
you consider anywhere on the ground and you've got a
great view. Maybe not at the back of the hill
when you're a bit of a short like me, but
I just think overall, the way it's done, just the
way they handle it all is the best ground for
sport in my opinion.

I thought it was pretty unreal as well, and you
know at sunset and it was just visually beautiful.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, it was really nice. I mean mcg is always
going to be yeah, but she's like a favorite.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
It is still my favorite in terms of atmosphere.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
But the atmosphere, yeah, absolutely, But Adelaide omals just.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
A not nicer and newer.

Big fan of Adelaide.

I do love when the SCG gets rocking because you've
got the old ladies in members stand there. True, so
it looks it looks cool. But Adelaide with the hill
of the old school board, big fan.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, I did love the old school people just manually.
That's cool. Yeah, very cool.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Was the Barossa Parker hit stats guy? You were the
one that went out there twice.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I spent half my weekend traveling out to Barosca Park,
so that is the only thing I'll say bad about it.
The other side of it looked beautiful. The ground was beautiful,
The stands were really good. You could see well from everywhere.
The food and drinks there were really awesome. It was
a bit in the middle of the bush and no
nice wineries around there, so that was that was.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
The other things nice.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
I wanted to add a nice winery you could just
go after the game or something like that. They're all
a bit had to be an experience. Surely luxury escapes
held out of my lovely fiance. Next year luxury escapes
gather around Barossa Valley. But in terms of them getting
it up, I think within a couple of months after
it wasn't even a massive footy ground. I thought it
was good also. Actually, I'll say one more point. They
had a bit of shade. I few people left because

they were too hot and not one part of the
ground had shade. Okay, so that was a bit of
a worry that did look but overall I really liked it.
The views were really cool and yeah, that was very cool.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
That was the same problem with Norwood. It was stinking
hot on both days and if you weren't in the
shade or Yeah, thankfully there's free sunscreen everywhere, like the
you had the like ambulance officers and Saint John's there
as well, just just sunscreen, yeah mate.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Put The other one is they're just trying to We
talked about this on Sunday. They're trying to get North
at the furthest away ground possible wore next year. Yeah.
Actually we might not even be in South Australia apparently
because I'm traveling a lot a long way for North.
But that's right.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, in saying that the North fans did get out there,
yeah there, but there are numbers they were.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
It was. It was actually a good turn out and
the atmosphere was good. That's why I don't mind. We've
talked about this playing at the country ground and playing
the local aounds with the smaller games, because the atmosphere
is good. Even I was like ten thousand people.

That's I mean, you've got to win it, like it's
my promotion relegation here. You've got to win a game
to get to the Adelaide Oval. Yeah, like to get
to Norwideah.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
You did see your potential.

North of west like midday or the day or something
like out of the nowhere.

He could have been the D's in Saints game on

Norwood anyway, Ken Hinckley, he should have landed a seven
three seven at the Adelaide on Sunday night.

But he's got Hawthorne's number, doesn't he like? His record
against Hawthorne in the last decade is nine and four.

He's pretty good.

Yeah. I was surprised that the Hawks couldn't really come
to the party because they're the party goers.

They're the ones that love the show. So yeah, I
was surprised that they didn't show up.

Yeah, I was really surprised. I think Ken that has
had good tactics, like he put Rosie half back. We
didn't actually talk about that much on the Sunday putting
Rosy half back. He changed a few things up. They
lifted for that. Leo mentioned this in the office is
usual on this show. He said that was their grand
final though for Port Adelaide, and I hope I do
agree with him on that one, because they're lifting for
this game and I don't know if they can do
it for the rest of us time.

was probably my view a week ago before we went.
I was like, oh, well, it could work anywhere. But
then I went and I was like, no, it really works.

Yeah. Everything's like so close to each other, so small.
Everyone's everyone's in a good mood. Like when we're trying
to do videos sometimes we go up to people and
they just don't want to talk to us all things. Like,
Everyone's like, yeah, i'll do this, I'll do that. Everyone's
in a good mood, and.

Adelaide has like a wholesome feel about it. You know,
you just feel like a.

Big city straight. I did that on Sunday morning.

I went for a drive to a couple of bakeries
because you were still asleep, and got some really nice
like baked goods just around in the suburbs around Glenelgan,
somewhere down south out of the city. For like fifteen
minutes out of the city, have a great time. It
was very quaint. We'll touch on a negative. Simon Goodwin
zip and five has the Dockers this week at the MCG.

They've lost their last two to three at the MCG
zero and six. He seems confident that he'll turn it around.
But at zero and six, is that when the knives
start sharpening?

Just I think publicly he has to be confident.

you've got to give them a chance to turn it around.

or Richmond and West Coast.

and seven Richmond defense hasn't been like horrible.

that could be a really close game. I think I'm
good one out even right now, like, maybe give him

good brand of footy, like some of their big names
have dropped off.

Like it does seem like the D's could have a
fresh start.

it last year. I was like, they're just going to

this is a huge signing and really good for our future.

Yes, honestly, I think that might become the norm now, Like, yes,
the salaries are going up. True, we have missed out
on a few big players, many big players, so they
needed to keep elder. You they did what they had
to do, so I am more than happy for him
to get the big bucks.

Yeah, that's a big win. He played. I know he
kicks goals three, but he played pretty well on the weekend.
He got a lot of appearances. Everyone's talking about the
defensive side. If you can prove that a little bit,
I think that's going to.

Be such would have just been so nice if you
just kicked a couple of guys.

There was one early in the game. I think it
was one of the first.

with a bunch of mates last night who were Footy
fans like house was like you got to go.

You're a footy fan, book your tickets as soon as
it's released. It's always around that first week of school holidays.

I think Thursday night and Friday night were good games.

I still thought that was a good game. Saturday's game,
except for the Western Bulldogs Brisbane games I thought were pretty.

Gold Coast was it was good for three quarters?

Yeah, I mean that ball was just ping ponging around.
There was no defense going on. And Saturday, like the
GW West and killed a game was good. The Richmond
Frio not so good. And if you're a port fan,
you have the best time ever against Hawthorne.

But yeah, I know that they're putting on games because
they don't need to put on massive games at gather around,
but maybe there needs to be reagig and maybe you
do need to have a blockbuster with a Victorian.

great atmosphere. Everywhere vibes a great No one was really
too bothered about what was that's true like happening on

went to Richmond for you. I had a great time
at the Boss. Yeah, even though it was a blowout
I don't know, there was still really good vibes and
then yeah, just a bit of a day out still.

start I've heard all year. Harvey Thomas g w WES
rookies played like twenty four to twenty five games in
that amount of twenty one game.

could be pretty close because both teams are in good form,
but Brisbane there's no how to win one.

Is Adelaide over the best ground to watch footy out
in Australia And I'm saying this without having been to
the new of the stadium, which I hear is a leak.

Yeah, that's the same as me. I would love to
go up the stadium. But I've put this in there
because that is the best sporting ground overall. Like food, drinks,
you consider anywhere on the ground and you've got a
great view. Maybe not at the back of the hill
when you're a bit of a short like me, but
I just think overall, the way it's done, just the
way they handle it all is the best ground for
sport in my opinion.

I thought it was pretty unreal as well, and you
know at sunset and it was just visually beautiful.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, it was really nice. I mean mcg is always
going to be yeah, but she's like a favorite.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
It is still my favorite in terms of atmosphere.

But the atmosphere, yeah, absolutely, But Adelaide omals just.

A not nicer and newer.

I do love when the SCG gets rocking because you've
got the old ladies in members stand there. True, so
it looks it looks cool. But Adelaide with the hill
of the old school board, big fan.

Yeah, I did love the old school people just manually.
That's cool. Yeah, very cool.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Was the Barossa Parker hit stats guy? You were the
one that went out there twice.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I spent half my weekend traveling out to Barosca Park,
so that is the only thing I'll say bad about it.
The other side of it looked beautiful. The ground was beautiful,
The stands were really good. You could see well from everywhere.
The food and drinks there were really awesome. It was
a bit in the middle of the bush and no
nice wineries around there, so that was that was.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
The other things nice.

I wanted to add a nice winery you could just
go after the game or something like that. They're all
a bit had to be an experience. Surely luxury escapes
held out of my lovely fiance. Next year luxury escapes
gather around Barossa Valley. But in terms of them getting
it up, I think within a couple of months after
it wasn't even a massive footy ground. I thought it
was good also. Actually, I'll say one more point. They
had a bit of shade. I few people left because

they were too hot and not one part of the
ground had shade. Okay, so that was a bit of
a worry that did look but overall I really liked it.
The views were really cool and yeah, that was very cool.

That was the same problem with Norwood. It was stinking
hot on both days and if you weren't in the
shade or Yeah, thankfully there's free sunscreen everywhere, like the
you had the like ambulance officers and Saint John's there
as well, just just sunscreen, yeah mate.

Put The other one is they're just trying to We
talked about this on Sunday. They're trying to get North
at the furthest away ground possible wore next year. Yeah.
Actually we might not even be in South Australia apparently
because I'm traveling a lot a long way for North.
But that's right.

Yeah, in saying that the North fans did get out there,
yeah there, but there are numbers they were.

It was. It was actually a good turn out and
the atmosphere was good. That's why I don't mind. We've
talked about this playing at the country ground and playing
the local aounds with the smaller games, because the atmosphere
is good. Even I was like ten thousand people.

to get to the Adelaide Oval. Yeah, like to get

could be pretty close because both teams are in good form,
but Brisbane there's no how to win one.
