Yeah, teams, we've got the Thursday night previous show.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Of course, it is actually brought to you by tabs
AFL missed by one. I've been absolutely loving that, especially
Lockie Whitfield. He's had thirty four disposals the last three weeks,
but TAB pays you out as a winner if you're
getting thirty five for him. Ciccily has done it as
nine indisposals sad the last couple of weeks as well,
nine in disposes, but twenty still pay you out. So
tabom awesome with that. Make sure you get on them
and download the tab app today. What are you really

(01:35):
gambling with? All right, that's another awesome show. We're going
to dove right into all the gather around matchups with tips, odds, stats, debates,
best bets.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Big calls from the weekend, and what to keep an
eye on a week's on.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Also, if first game is right around the corner and
we've got to hurry up and get out of here

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Know about that. We'll get through it.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Of timer though. Ah Now we'll just vibe it. You
actually host and directed, though, don't worries.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I'll try.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
I'll try my best. Make sure you subscribe to our
YouTube channel. A lot is going up on there. So
we've had the Midweek Man the show that it's still
very relevant, very awesome. We had our Jake Riccardi interview.
We literally did it on the road.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Jerd was editing on the road, he was driving, He
was doing everything.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
For us, not at the same time.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Not at the same time.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I drive responsible of course, and then follow us all
across the af L socials, AFL Today, AU socials.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
What about the one that came out today. I was
about to mention that, but I forgot that. We already
mentioned YouTube.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yes, so the lu Codge gather around preview where they
go through every game with Alex. We've got Hodgy on
Boys that's thanks to tab as well, so that is
absolutely awesome. Yeah, and then get around the socials AFL Today,
AU on X, Instagram and TikTok and then Facebook is
Aussie Rules Today, so yes.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Get around it. We've actually done a lot of stuff at.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Random More and a few other things there. So there's
a lot of content.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Going out and we're absolutely loving it, including our yn RBS.
So we've had a few socials on there as well.
Get around it with our yeah, our questions all right,
we've gone through all of that.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Let's get into the round five. Gather around previous, lads.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Let's do it. Oh, I forgot about something.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
You forgot about the subscribe account. I got it up.
You don't usually get it one time.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I'm prepared with all subscribe account.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
If I'm being honest, I do two shows with you
and you've never done that. So wow, what do we
got subscribe acount?

Speaker 6 (03:18):
Because we're absolutely fine, exact number five thousand, eight hundred
and ninety six. We're's absolutely clear the six K barrier
by the end of all.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
The guy was ten k by round ten and we're
on the track.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Track.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Let's go it.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Actually hit the ball as well, because it goes a
long way to get the notification as well.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
All right now, now we're going good.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Yeah, sorry about that, We're good.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Round five, gather round previous.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Let's get into it Friday night because I've already done
the Thursday preview Collingwood versus Adney Friday night seven ten
Adelaide time, seven forty four. All the other parts of
the country, but seven ten Adelaide Oval. Let's get into
the team's lads, Leo Collingwood, Please, no worries.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Mailing with team Robbie Sullivan, Edward Allen and Will Hoskin
Elliott come in Houston suspended, de Gooeye and Shults out injured.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
We already knew that I really like this team, do.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
You They've got They've just got Houston to go in Shultz.
Shultz has been their best player last couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
It may sway your tip though, well, I.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Think or will it's probably gonna status. But Darcy Cameron's
playing his hundredth game now?

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Does that surprise you lads? I feel like he's been
around for longer than that. I think it just looks
like an old soul like you.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
I was confident. I look, it's a team that will
it might you might not like it, but.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
It will always do the job. It will always manage
the game, you know what I mean? So I think
it'll keep him in this game? Will it win?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I don't think they have enough scoring power, so we
can we can get into that Sidneys One's team.

Speaker 6 (04:45):
Please no changes for the Sydney Swan. They played well
obviously against North Melbourne. Tom mccarton was superb down back.
Why was he put forward? He just he looks like
an all Australian defender down but I don't.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Know why he was.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
And obviously players like Haney Cleary they keep their spot.
And we've got to mention the Swans are staying in
the same hotel as us. We won't we won't say
that hotel everywhere they are staying.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
I think Alex was used.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
On the show.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
He'll be where he is right now.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
He almost accidentally walked onto the team bus when they
were hitting accidentally a few ago.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
He was trying to riley By. He was trying to get.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Were trying to deliver Friede Rice to bribe Bye. That
is a bad idea. We need to like track him
though I've seen I've.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Seen plenty of Rice and then just hope that we
see him yeah, and then yeah, getting to sign it there.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Giving back back back to the team.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Was at as United game and there was.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Lanovitch.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
His nickname was Milo. Someone's going was it wasn't his
nickname was Milo. So we've got a mileocan and we
got him to sign it.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
I look about the Sydney game.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
The Sydney team, We've already had enough of. The Sydney
team looked really good last week. He still go Chad
Hayward and Hayward was awesome. They both kicked four goals.
Some stats here, I've got to give some stats. Pis
have won their last nine matches at the Adelaide Oval.
They're home away from home the Pies even though they
play eighty game the last twenty years. I was going
to say they play eighty two games a year at
the MCG, but the Swans have actually won five of

(06:22):
the last six meetings between these two. As we mentioned,
there's some big outs for Collingwood. Sydney have the same team.
Let's get into the odds with tab as well. Collingwood
a dollar seventy four heads ahead. They're the favorite. Still,
I'm a bit surprised about that with their outs. Sydney
two dollars ten. A few people jumped on them earlier
in the week and I actually got him about two
forty two to fifty, but down to two dollars ten cents.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
My best bet in this one.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I had him for the first couple of weeks, then
I went off him, but I'm back on him.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Chad Warner two plus goals at two.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Dollars sixty, I think you can tear up the Adelaide Oval,
he's had two plus and his last six Friday night games.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Don't worry about any other day. He tears it up
on the Friday night lights.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
He's also had two plus in three of his four
games this season, So two plus fo the Chadley want
of that? All right, Tips and margin lads for the
Friday night fixture. I can't believe we're all going the
same First, I'm going to go the Swans.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
Look, I think Collingwood can definitely, like might come out
and win this game. I'll go the Swan's by twenty one, yep.
But they just haven't shown me quite enough just yet.
Like they haven't been great so far this season. They
only had to play really one good quarter against Carlton
to get over the line, and obviously they trailed at
halftime like every every club has against Carlton.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Yes, true, but yeah, I want to see a bit more.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
But this is the stage where I want them to
prove me wrong so I can tip them in the future.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
I think Swans win this by eight points. I think
Collingwood will keep themselves in the game just by their
experience and ability to dig in. But I think Sydney's
pace would be too much so GWS struggled, so GWS
made them struggle with.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Nuggets and knowledge for him. You two there, Speed's going
to call you sound a bit smart there. For once.
I'm going to go Swans by two goals. I think
it'll be really close.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
But like they've just got a little bit more scoring power,
like out of the midfield and things like that. Pies
they're not that big scoring team and this ones when
they're on, I think I think the Pies definitely do
rely on goals from midfield. Yes, and my check and
only kicking, like and we're to go with out shoots out.
I'm surprised we all went this once because the Pies
are the favorites, but here we.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Are great minds think alike, they're not wrong.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
All right, let's get into Saturday, one of the biggest
I'm actually nervous already for this game.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
What do you think it changes? Stats guy for North
While let's get into the what game it is?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
First North ALBN versus Gold Coast Saturday, twelve oh five
in the actually the.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
First game of all time.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I don't know what I said all time ever at
the Barossa Valley, the Brossa Park.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
It's at the fifty first.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Ground in AFL history. I think I heard Andrew Dillon
say a pit of a.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Stat for you there, So twelve oh five here in Adelaid,
twelve thirty five Eastern Standard time.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Go through the teams, I'll go doing me to go
through the team, I usually go through you normally go
through North. I just get nervously.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
All right, foss is back in the big foss Man.
I'm happy with that, zaying Durzmer the better good he
existed that he's not that good just yet, but he's
still better than his brother.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Than Harley Reid, because that's well he hasn't played.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Is going to come through.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
The best in their family is Yasmin will in next
year's draft. He's probably better as well, but Zane will
be the best. There we go when it's all said
doneh and Zach Fish is in.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
That's very sad.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
The out Bailey Scott, who's I think a huge apt
Matt omitted dropped.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
They're all omitted right what they're all omitted.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
On your phone.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Bailey Scott was very poor.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
He was, but he has been one of our most
consistent players the last three seasons.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Is a joke.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Zach Fisher reaction there has never hit a target and Bailey.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
Scott is really anyway. I was really shocked there.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
And Matt Witlock probably desert Unfortunately he's only one game.
He'll be good next year when he puts a bit
of weight on. Robbie Hanson. Junr also out a bit stiff.
I reckon, but he's not that The team's looking okay.
I think we have a bit of pace, but look,
this is going to be really tough asking into the Suns.
He wants to do the Suns Suns team, we.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Could share it. I read the inns, you're read the outs.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Well that's just three, I said, I do the inns.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
I think Connor Butter comes out.

Speaker 6 (10:09):
That's a force changed injured yet because Butter it's really good.
But they don't really have to change that much to
the games. They're lucky to get get away with against Satellade.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
But yeah, overall they were the better side though, I think, yeah,
probably I just see this Sun scene, but just has
so much firepower.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I think that's what Sydney did you with last week and.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
We actually beat the Sun, but that was when that
was really nothing, not much to play for.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Same as when we played on.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
The time, and they were also playing away from home
when they couldn't win.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
They could have went away from home.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Gold Coast in terms of the stats, have won four
of the last six meetings, but North one last meeting.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
As I just mentioned, by three points the Suns.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
They're undefeated obviously, and the second best offense of the
third best defense.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
On the defensive side, this is where I'm worried North
of fifteenth.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
The offense, we haven't been too bad, obviously, you were
really bad against Sydney. Other than that, we've we've scored
a couple of hundred points, ninety points, how many points?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Not too bad.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
But the defense is the worry, especially under Clarker, which
we especially I think.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
Late in that third quarter, in the last quarter in Sydney,
there was so many easy goals, like just chipping to
a guy fifteen meters when you're as account of yeah,
it's just it was really poor.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Just oh, I was just saying.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
I think there was a clip where Bailey Scott turned
it over coming out of the back line, Bys cuts
it off and as the turnover happens, Luke McDonald is tackling.
I think it's Hayward or a Sydney player. Then as
the kick goes out, the kid goes back in by
bias and Luke McDonald's twenty meters off in and it's like.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
How how has he done that anymore? Anymore? He's got
in supercoach.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
It doesn't make you a good true like that guy
against he's like Jack.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Mcgray's the best. I actually believe that Jack mccray's the best.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Middlet's talk about that when Saint Kelda come up.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
No, yeah, I don't believe that. You look seriously. You
did look serious. Talk about the game that's happened. There
was no quiver in.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
We haven't talked enough about Golds. They've been awesome Ben King.
So there's a question for you lads. You can Everyone's
been talking about who's going to kick the most goals
for the Gather around weekend. My pick was Ben King
because North don't have a match up the really high
reach of the King brothers. Obviously Ben King's a lot
better and his brother. I think six goals is on
for Benking.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Do you think that make it seven?

Speaker 7 (12:27):
Nah?

Speaker 3 (12:27):
I hope not.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
I think Charlie Colonel against West Coast is the most
goals Forgather. Yeah, just purely Jerman McGovern's out Chris back.
That'll that'll help him. And he also has a great
recent record against do you reckon most goals and acide
thinking ye have to go nice, nice all right.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
The odds with tab North Melbourne are three dollars ninety
heads ahead the Gold Coast are a dollar twenty six,
so heavy favorites at Barrossa Park. It's going to be
pumping their big sal out really cool venue. Might have
to get a few wines beforehand. The best bet in
this one for me, the player bet is two Camilla
twenty five plus and to kick a goal two dollars
Ninety's done someone. I think three of his four games

(13:05):
this year averaging twenty five and two goals this season.
The fact that he's hitting the scoreboard is just very
rare for him. He usually kicks about eight goals a season.
His career best is eight goals a season. Sorry, he's
already got six goals this year, so averaging two goals
put him in there. To kick a goal I think
that's around two bucks, and then you add that twenty
five plus that he just does every single week.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
He's so consistent too, Miller.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
He's got the guns, he's got the clearance work with
Maddi Rayan there but that's my best bet player.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Multi there all.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Right, tips and margin lads, there anything else you want
to talk about in this one?

Speaker 5 (13:34):
Leon, I think Sons win this by fifty three fifty Should.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
I go now? I will be there.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
I will be there actually with a little dress up.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
That will be there. Oh yeah, he's a little whoall crack.
I was like, come on mate, I'm.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
Going to go with him, but I'm clearly looking like
you look so absolutely.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Anyway, Sons win this.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
I just think a lot of firepower and took Miller
as you touched on in some good goals going form
and I think they not only have the five power
in the front half, but also in the midfield.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
That's a long day for Nor.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Daniel, Daniel Ell and John Noble have been bloody awesome pickups, right, They've.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Been very good.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
I'm going to the songs by five goals. They're just
they're just a better club than Nor.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
They're not a better club, but they're a better team.
They're a better team.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
They're a better the only team that has less fans.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
They're a better team. And happen to go at your
own club mat you're in fan base. I'm sick.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
I'm fed up, mate. Yeah, I just think would be
too strong.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Yeah, unfortunately I can't hit my beloved North, but I
think we can put up a fight for the first
half in a bit and then the Sons will kick
away a bit thirty points.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
What what can I.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Feel good about walking away? We're not going to win
four goals or less, four goals.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Thirty five That show effort to Curtis kicks a few goals.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
I would.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
I'm happy to say super kicks five, but we still.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Either way, you're going to be whining at the end
of it.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Absolute lily. Either way, I think that is the best
joke you ever said. Show you can show yourself out.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
You can take Yeah, signs by thirty for me. That's
our tips for that one. All right, another barn burner.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
The next game on Saturday twelve fifty Here one twenty
ASTRAONEE and standard time out.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
The Adelade over is Carlton Versts West Coast.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Usually usually this team, you go, oh, Carlton would win
this bye hundred points. They've won by fifty plus in
the last four meetings. But before you touch on the teams,
I never won a game and they play they can't
if they lose the West Coast Labs.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Is Boss gone just straight away that night already? To
be honest, I think he's going.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
I don't think he is just out.

Speaker 6 (15:44):
Yeah, one hundred percent, he is out the door. They
should be looking at new coaches.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Now, what are they going to get? That might be
he's got nuggets of knowledge.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
There's plenty of good coaches in the market. What would
buy game plan be for Cartlon. Let's figure this one out.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Actually play footy in the second half, Actually play and MCA.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
But now they're both playing.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Now I played in his natural position on the outside,
not letting get bruised every week.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
But that's another story.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
All right, talking about Carlton, you can do them while
you're already talking about him.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Carlton teams, please speaking.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Harry McKay comes back in double MC. Actually we've got
Matthew Kotchell and Matthew Carroll. Carroll making his debut and
Corey Durton a bit of a forgotten man.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Corey Durton made about the race is great guy, great hang.
That was a good bit of information. Lewis.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Lewis Young goes out along with Moo, Cowen, move Ashton
Moyer and Cooper Lord.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
I think those are fair changes. Cowen, I believes injured.

Speaker 8 (16:39):
Uh where do we Where do we start? Where do
you want to start start? I want to start with
their depth. It's just it's overrated. Their top six is
brilliant and they just drop.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
I would be a little bit annoyed if I was
Lucas camp early because I think I think he should
be in the team.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Three fourth changes there should he be in the team.
I think so was puking at halftime against how Maybe
you were sick. Yeah, it was sick. So that's another
reason not to play him.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
I thought I thought he was very stiff man.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
He also needs to play enough games, I don't think
for superpat.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Yeah there we go. Yeah, wonder why there we go?
So the Crton team, it's all right, enough.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Enough to win the game by almost ten goals. West
Coast team, Marcus the West Coast team, similarly, there's quite
a few changes.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
We've got Harry Edwards, Jake Waterman, which is a big
that's a huge another tool figure.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Kind of makes me want to change my tip.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
Liam Ryan also in the forward line, so just another
spark in the forward line there, and Jack Hutchinson in
as well. Out we've got Tyler Brockman omitted. Tim Kelly
is the big one, huge, big news.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
He's it's huge though, omitted.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
But like they signed him as a Marque player, he
was a Marquee player.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
He has been deserves to be dropped.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
I think it's a statement from Yes because we were
listening to Fox Footy back in the hotel. I was
talking about it going you're not going to drop your captain,
You're not going to drop a few other leaders. But
Tim Kelly one didn't want deserve to get dropped.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
It would be yeah, she's coming over. Mini made a statement,
then it's about time you do the same. But North
as a mini.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
I mean I'll go through the rest of the nolong
and Tom Cole also the team obviously we've got again.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
I know you don't like to look at the team
on here Ler, but Reuben Jimmy is still playing in
the back line, which is a joke.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I don't like, or at least got to be half
back because he's playing a last.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
As a rebound ball. I really I've enjoyed dua, Yeah,
last couple his developments really Archer read as well. I've
got him in super coach, but he just I don't know,
like when he gets some service, he shows enough for me.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
He's scoring at the moment, has to be.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
I don't know about that one, but I think if
you're a West Coast fan and I'm really just trying
to grip onto something because it is a bit grim.
But some of the younger guys are showing signs. So
if they can just keep doing it.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Do they win two games this year?

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Yes, yeah, yeah, they'll beat all one of them might
be here.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Never know what might mean against against Port as well. Anyway,
that's another one that might be Port if they play.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I don't think anyone dipping go West Coast anyway. Let's
get in the odds with tab. We've got Carlton at
a dollar twelve. West Coast are six dollars twenty. I
recond Carlton could be a little bit shorter, but they
have been really bad form obviously haven't won a game.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
My best bet in this one.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
He might not be doing much this season, but he
always feaced against West Coast. My player bet is Charlie
Kerner five plus goals, three dollars and ten cents. Now,
I know that sounds like a lot, but he's last
three games against West Coast, he's got ten goals, nine
goals and five goals. So five plus I think is
a really really good one. You got Hogan, Jesse Hogan.
I think he's a much better player than Charlie Kerner.
But he kicked nine goals last week, so just it's

(20:02):
a bit conservative. Just five goals, three dollars and ten cents.
I think that's a really good bet. All right, that's
tips margin. Any other thoughts you can start markets.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
We've said it Blues by ten goals and if they don't,
it's it's a loss.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
In the books.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
They have to come out of.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
The crack bossy if they win by.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
If they if they win, I don't think they win
if they win by fifty nine points.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
The first team ever get sacked, first coach ever to
get sacked after a win.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Oh, I think surely there has to have been someone.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Well in the basketball.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Actually it's a random one, but the Denver Nuggets just
sacked their coach and they're fourth, so any tr us
that's another one. So maybe VOSSI coach the Nuggets, who knows.
It'll be weird let margin.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Blues by nine. I think this would be closer nine.
I think this would be close.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
And if you didn't Blues they'll be leading at halftime
like they normally do. And I think it won't be
It won't ever be like a big margin, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
And I think West Coast will try and come back,
but just won't have.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
The skill of the team that can't have played in
the past to get the win. So I think Carlton
just fall over the line here and it'll be a
win that you just take the four points and you leave,
gather around immediately.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
You're about to cry, but you're won. I want West
Coast to win the head of.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
This game, get the Adelaide Oval slop by the way.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
I know, because Carlton have a big fan base, annoying
fan base, but they're very big, very loud.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
West Coast a big yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
True, and I'm loving West Coast.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
We saw it a few people, but we actually saw
a few people around gathering.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
That was better in person.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
It's very bright, it's very colorful. It looked really good
against the Carlton team. I reckon, I look good.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I'm going blues.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
By thirty nine.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
That forty plus is usually like, oh, that's like a
bit more of a smashing. I don't think they can
do that. I agree with Leo that they it might
be close a lot of the time. And then I think, so.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
You're saying they're going to play well in the second.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I think this is the time because they're downhill. Charlie
Curner downhill, He's going to kick a lot of goals.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
He'll kick a lot of goals in the second.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Charlie downhill. He I feel about that.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
I'm off the Charlie Kerner. I think he's overhead, off
the Charlie off.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
I'm off the Charlie Curoner.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
That's what they call him. Please by thirty nine. All right,
let's get into a tab ad before we get into the.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Rest of the show, because nine game is going to
be a.

Speaker 9 (22:08):
Missed by one on the AFL. With TAB, you can
stay in the game missed by one on any.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Disposal's leg and TAB will still pay you out as
a winner tab where on.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Welcome back to the show.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Let's get into the rest of the games at gathering
Ed Adelaide. Western Bulldogs vers Brisbane is the next one
Saturday three forty five Adelaide time four fifteen Australian Eastern
Standard time over first one at Norward Oval for the weekend.
I went there last year. The ground is very strange.
The boundary line is very straight yep, and the first
quarter no matter if these two teams or Brisbanes played there.

(22:43):
But the Bulldogs will kick a lot down in the full.
There's so many hours on the because you lead and
they're leading, they're.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Like, oh crap, the boundary lines and the Bulldogs aren't
a grade kicking solid either, No, no, particularly shots at goal,
particularly shots a goal.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Yeah, so there could be a few way would kick.
So get your hands ready in the crowd. Uh, we'll
start with you this time, teams please for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Yeah, there's there's actually a few changes here for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
JJ comes back in for one more pace off half
back or I know they did throw him down forward
for a little bit and tested that out.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Surely half.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
I'm not sure where he will play a strange because
they already do have Dale and Fraser half back.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Looking at the outs they've taken out a wingman and
sort of two forwards. One plays half back, so I
think clear he will go to half back and then.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
Yeah, that's that's the other ends. We've got Cooper Horns
and Luke Cleary.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
Beans been tins that I don't know if that's his name, Actually.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
We can do that.

Speaker 6 (23:39):
He's in line for his debut and out obviously Oscar
Baker got suspended. Lathan Van is injured, which is actually quite.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
A big very good.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
He has four goals against three goals against.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
McNeil's be that doesn't seems have.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Been better than him. Bandame is not a big out.
He plays well against the bottom four sides. Let's not
get carried out.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
He's one of those where he gets at least one
a game, does.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
He though, Yeah, he's one of those six touches and
then when he kicks his goal to put them within
fifteen points, he starts to fight.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
This is a I'm not a fan of his name
is Latham?

Speaker 4 (24:16):
Do any?

Speaker 6 (24:17):
But yeah, I agree that's a weird true and Harvey
Gallagher is omitted as well.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
What does that stiff are?

Speaker 3 (24:23):
I think sub last week? So okay?

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Fair enough brasband lines please Leo.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Well this is short and sweet. No changes for the
good old busy Town.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
We'll talk about.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Him although won every game.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Do they need to make changes, No, definitely not.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
They've obviously got Zorco killing her back there. Who was
Humor Pluggage. He's had an unbelievable stun as well. Dunkley
great for super Coach. There's like six guys the lines
you could have in your super Coach team.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
And they're all I think Neil Niela forty won last week.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
He's back into Richmond.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
I love watching the Ashcroft brothers go about their business bitching.
To see hip Wood and Sam Day against Liam Jones.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
And Rory Lobb it puts does.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
I feel like Ohones and Lob were a bit of
a letdown against Freo. They weren't really at their defensive
loves new hair.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
He's done a new look again about that one. I
like that one.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
It's a bit more subtle.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
I don't want to Bloody loves just being wolf from
the side. I think it looks good. I haven't seen it,
so I'm in for a tree.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
I feel like you should get what's a bombers thing
dongs on the side, or.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Get an impulse Essmon tattoo in gathering.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
He said on the show. He said that, he said.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
That was taking it all right, done.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Tattoo whilst each other around. All right, we've got to film.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
That is content right there, he's doing it for content
and AFL today and personal.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
Maybe no want.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Tattooing that because they will get canceled and then the
show will go down. People will cancel us. So it
leads to nothing. It goes to the.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Canceling because now I have the QR code, so.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
It doesn't work. What that doesn't make that work? That
makes sense? Come on, we are going to.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
Talking about some more stats in this one. Get us
back on track.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Brisbane have won their last nine matches and they haven't
even looked at the first gear. I think they took
Richmond for granted last week because Richmond put up a
really strong fight and they've had a lot of really
close games, but they know how to win. They're undefeated,
so they're going really well.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
The dogs.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
We've got to We've talked them up.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Bevo has done really well with such a there's such
a different side, but they're actually doing really well.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
We're happy with them so far. At least he's proved
me wrong.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
Luke Beveridge to start, especially with all those outs Bomb
looks like he's going to come back next week which
are massive.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
There's more fight in the side. And yeah, Matt Kennedy
has been a really good pick. I didn't know if
he would have that immediate impact.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
He's been good. The size of the heart the dog
and the heart of the heart of them, that is
not what they're saying.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
The word fight isn't that somewhere before the size of the.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Dog in the fight?

Speaker 4 (26:51):
They got that dog in them. Yeah, give me a
give me a wolf. There we go. What's the dog
was that? I don't know. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Let's just keep going.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
At the tab odds for this one, Western Bulldogs are
two dollars seventy Brisbane a dollar forty seven. The favorites
in this one the reigning premiers. My best bet I
think he's a very underrated player in this one. Player
bet is Ed Richards twenty five plus disposals ten cents.
That's really good odds for a guy that's averaging twenty
six disposal this season. He had twenty five last time
against Brisbane. So I'm actually really confident in this one.

(27:23):
You get over two dollars, right, so really good with
tab tips and margin, lads. I feel like I haven't
really covered this game that much.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
So oh no, we touched on like the Brisbane midfield
Dogs down back roy actually and everything we've touched.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Yeah, we've got we've We've been gave for five minutes
at least.

Speaker 7 (27:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
Well, look we've all gone the same so far and
it's probably a bit boring for the audience.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
We're going to do it again. We're going to say like, oh,
we'll change, We'll change. Gerald.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Gerald's a big dogs man. He just whispered to me, Yeah,
I've got your dogs by fifty.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
He told me.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
He thinks they're going to smash him.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Leo, I'm going to go the loins by just over
a kick. Wouldn't be surprised if the dogs actually get
up in this game. I think it's going to be
really close.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
All the doggies.

Speaker 4 (28:12):
Yeah yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Lines By yeah, should have kicked Laire lines by twelve.
I think it'll be really tight.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
And I just reckon the two midfields on this skinny
ground or globe like the contested ball, there'll.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Be a lot of inside fifties as well. This would
be a really fun I reckon, this could be the
best game of the round. I'm going to go lines
by fifteen. They've just got the class. They don't how
to win even against Geelong. They just they just grinded
it out. They just know how to grind out a win,
even if it's at Norwood. So they'll be pardoned on
the hill with some tins afterwards.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Sounds good.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
Now we join them, you'll join them.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
There we go, all right? Next one is Saturday night?
How the hell is this adelaide Over?

Speaker 2 (28:44):
How the hell is this sat there Melbourne taking you
on Essendon seven o five Local time, seven thirty five
astraining and standard time. I don't know why it says
Energy Stadium there, it's at the adelaide overall seventeenth first fourteen.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Run cheat, So why do you say that point?

Speaker 4 (29:00):
That's my point.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
I stuffed up.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
That's okay, you need to let that. I just wanted
to let him know that I stuffed up.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Adelaide Over?

Speaker 2 (29:06):
How is this seventhh most fourtieth is the Saturday and
hiked the only Saturday. I'm sure you didn't stuff that up?
And the just add on my screen. All right, let's
go on to the teams. You can do your beloved Essidon.
They've got what have they got?

Speaker 4 (29:20):
One win?

Speaker 3 (29:20):
The Dons we got one win.

Speaker 6 (29:21):
We've only played three games though we haven't played for
a couple of weeks because we had Port and then
we had to.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Buy and then what doesn't count as playing. We got four.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
Points against them, obviously against Port, so hopefully we can
repeat that again against Melbourne, because we did beat them
in the inaugural gather round. I probably butchered that we
would let you go Adelaide over in the reverse pictures.
But changes teams both force changes obviously. Duy Caldwell with

(29:54):
his hammy Tom Edwards a cl.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
What he's breaking.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
He's gonna have to go back to be a teacher.
Oh he's back to Perth.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yeah, God, Betty hates teaching kids. I would.

Speaker 9 (30:10):
Well.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
First he thought he thought playing foot he was more
rewarding than teaching the future.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
So the school was fuming with I think the pays
a bit better anyway.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
Anyway, Anyway, the inns Archie Perkins comes back in from
injury and Will set Afield gets his first game for
the season after im pressing the What do we think about?

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Will said? Field.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
He's a been up and down, but at his best
he's still got the first.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Time of the club, he had a spell for a
month or two week.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
I was getting twenty five and a goal every single
week and we just got to hope that he can
somewhat replicate that.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
For I think it's something the captain does at the
start of the over.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
Oh okay, that's gone everything.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Anyway, Leo, before he makes any more Crims jokes, Melbourne team, please, Lindsay.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Comes back in. So it's a shorter return time than
what we expected. I got rid of him in Super
and Disco Turner comes out of the team.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
I'll say one thing that Disco Turner was actually really good.
He took about four contested marks, kicked a goal. Really,
he was really good. Last week he was like they're
only four. That was taking rue but he was doing nothing.
Disco Turner was actually so yeah, yeah, you are right,
you are right. That's a bit stiff.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Yeah, he doesn't in a big game, doesn't he van
ruin against this side? Probably that's probably against Mackay a
good time to do it. Get himself back into it.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
But if the D's want to win this game of football.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
They have to magically solve their powers of just missing
targets inside fifty, which I don't think they can do.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
So the President will win this and I think I've
already spoiled all right. My tip is Melbourne, all right,
So more stats to this one.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Esident have actually lost their last four matches against teams
low on the ladder.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
That's a classic, that's classic.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
We do the love listen to teams against them, but
a law on the ladder take you take pride to
that U because that means we we beat teams that
are better than No.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
That doesn't mean I think he lose the teams above
you and you lose the Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Melbourne has also won six of the last eight meetings
between these sites, so they'll be a bit confident. But
they're playing really bad foot at the moment. Melbourne, they
just don't know how to score the tab odds in
this one. Melbourne really really close, actually a dollar ninety
five heads ahead Essendon a dollar eighty five.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
So a lot of the punters can't really split this game.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
It is probably the toughest one to pick this weekend. Now,
I didn't really have a lot of belief.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
In this one. A few people on the show sort
of convinced me.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Sam Draper two plus goals again at two dollars and
ten cents with TAB. He's averaging two goals this season.
Not that weird kicking technique that we always talk about,
but it's working. He's had two goals I think at
least twice of the three games this season. So yeah,
Sammy Draper two plus. I can't believe I'm saying that
makes me laugh every weekend, but he's gonna get two
plus this weekend, and that's a good bit with TAB.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
All right, tips and margin lads, what do we think this.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
Is on Bombers by thirty one? I think this will
be a cruisy win. And I think they just have
an forward firepower. I've used that word a few times.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
It's better than me saying fire up every every similar.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
It's similar firepower on your bombers.

Speaker 6 (33:09):
I'm going to go the domm starting the cart fourteen points,
I'll go over the Bombers. I think you'll still be
a close one. It would just be a scrap. It
probably will be an ugly watch, probably come to expect
with both of these clubs so far this season.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
But I will support my club.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Your heart's going to be beating out of your footy.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
I'll not you gonna do that.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Alright, that's enough.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
I'm gonna go Bombers by twenty points. I think they've
just looked a lot better. Sorry, they've looked better than
it looks better. They can kick more goals. I don't
think they're going to e score more than eighty points though.
It's going to be similar to that Geelong Melbourne game
where they're leading old game just because Melbourne can't keep
goal Like melbourn had a lot of inside fifties last
week and they just couldn't.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Able to remember, Bombers can't really defend.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
That's true, I think because of that, what's the cozy picket?
But I could have a big games.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Reckon, it'll be like ninety seven sixty TiO.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
You think it could be Bombs get to ninety seven.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Yeah, because they can outscore them.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, true, true.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
All right, that's the Saturday games done.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
Let's get into the Sunday another Bomber.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
What a game? This is not? Really?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Richmond versus Freeman, also at Barossa Park, Sunday, twelve oh
five Local time, twelve thirty five Australian Eastern Standard time.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
I'm just a bit confused by this game. Richmond have
looked really solid the last couple of weeks, but Frio
should be better.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
They should be a top six team. They did take
care of the Dogs.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Yeah, so that was a really good win.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
They're two and two. They probably shouldn't have choked it
against Sydney.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
No, for the second half was really bad and in
all honesty, it looked like they were going going to
lose that game.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Against the Dogs.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
Yeah' had a lot more inside as soon as Jackson
was down.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
But they won. But they won, all right, teams ads Leo,
have you got the teams up there Richmond?

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Yes, I do, Thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Morris Riali, John Ty Fall, Hugo Smith, Samson, Ryan and
Campbell Gray.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Campbell Gray has the number fifty by the way, yuck.
They come in and out. Sammy law draft pick doesn't
feature did you really Ma's balls?

Speaker 5 (35:16):
Yes, that's right out there. He's out as well as
Harry Armstrong. Both are He knew what I said, he
didn't don't care.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Both both are out with injuries, so that's unfortunate. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Yeah, look I'm really again I'm just gonna hop on
about the numbers. I hate how they have so many
in the forties. They've got like five six players in
the forties, that's what it's I think it's even more.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
But anyway, look this Richmond side.

Speaker 5 (35:41):
They showed a bit of fight against Brisbane and no
Brisbane took the foot off the gas. But hopefully they
can do the same for Richmond's sake against Fredo.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
I've really enjoyed Luke Traynor trainer hardly know.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
Oh my god, get out. No, He's been really good
to start the seasons. The show's great death inspiration and courage.
I really enjoy watching him play, so he's one to
watch for me from a Richmond perspective.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
But hopefully they just crack in and have a bit
of energy about that. I think they will.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Their young, young team that's a bit of energy.

Speaker 6 (36:10):
Marcus Freo, quite a few outs forced outs, Corey Wagner,
Nathan O'Driscoll the other star, as well as Luke Jackson.
That's another big one who's injured. But unfortunately for Richmond,
they do have quite a few handy ins free mantle.
Sean Darcy obviously replaces Luke Jackson, so that'll be an

(36:31):
interesting matchup in.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
The Curvis is a big boy himself. Yes, they're also.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Hayden Young coming in the Superstar.

Speaker 6 (36:41):
Oh, that's good for my draft in the making over
the next over the next five years, he will become
one of the best players.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
He's got the longest contract in the AFL, he does.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Yeah, that's a bit of a joke out.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Yeah, and obviously it's an extended bench.

Speaker 6 (36:54):
So you've got Sam Switkowski, Liam Ready, Oscar McDonald and
James Ah.

Speaker 4 (37:00):
I don't mind that.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
I just want to see I want to see them
smash them because that proves to me that three are
really good.

Speaker 4 (37:07):
But I don't see them doing that.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
I think they're going to have a slow build to
the season and then they'll be really strong at the
end of the season.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Yep, because they're just not They're not there yet. It's
like that really strong team that everyone thought they were
going to be.

Speaker 6 (37:17):
No, And in all honesty, I did expect it a
little bit from them, not to be in the top
four at least, but obviously games like these this should
be a percentage booster and I in the season might help.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
Yep. All right, let's get into some stats and then
a few odds as well. Three of one the last
two meetings by fifty plus points. Richmond I have been
putting up a fight, though was sold last game they were,
So we'll get into the tips and things like that after.
But I think this could be a bit closer than
their last two meetings. Let's get into the odds. With
tab Richmond are six dollars Freeman or a dollar thirteen.
That's head to ahead My best one of this one

(37:49):
sort of a guy that's also a bit underrated, like
Ed Richards, the guy that's improved his game a lot
over the last couple of years. That's Jeremy Sharp. Twenty
pluster sprosers at a dollar ninety. Perfect for your multi
and even if he gets nineteen, he's still get paid
out as a winner with tab.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Yeah, twenty one disposes the last game.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
He's got an awesome tank, he's got a bit of speed,
you can go in the midfield, playing a bit off
half back as well. So I really like Jeremy Sharp
for twenty plus disposals. That's my best bet, all right.
That's tips margin.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Three obo thirty seven. I think they'll just be too good.
But I do want to see the Tigers show a
bit of fight again. It'll be impressive.

Speaker 4 (38:20):
Change one, Yeah, Marcus, Like I said, they do need
to win.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
They need a big bin. Know they had a wig bin.
He's on.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
They need to win big wig bin. Sorry, had a
few splasy kem and keep going, mate, you're a footy.
It's all off the show.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Seventy points, seventy points. Free, They've got to win, and
they've got to win big. It's like the.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Hoyair.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
It is bloody hiding you mate. I just say that.
That's a bit rattle. Call me luke ball.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Actually like that.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Free by thirty points.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
I think Richmond could actually put up a fight in
this one, and Freer just kick away at the end
they go, Josh Tracy, he could have a big day,
the big the big Cahuna. I think they call him
Dick cyclone as well. They call him so yeah, Trey's
gonna have a big day. Free by thirty points. All right,
two more, we've got two more?

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Can we do it more?

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Sat killed up Verse Jed were Sunday at Norwood Oval.
That's two fifty local time, three twenty around the other
parts of the country.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
Nor what Over again.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Saints played there last year, got to win over Richmond,
so they'll be a little bit confident.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
All right, Let's get into the teams though. First you
can know st actually PRESI president Saints man. That's not
a saintsman.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Handsome Jack Steele comes in. They've teased us with that. Yeah,
the last few weeks.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
Liam Henry also and you Box Shall if he were
to play, be his debut. Yep, no outs because it's
the extended bench. What do I need to talk about
this Saints team anymore that I haven't over the last.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
I've been bloody good. I've been a believer from the start.

Speaker 5 (39:56):
Scrandles sued him because it's skinny and they love to defend.
But I really just enjoy this team. I enjoy Cameriti
down back. I enjoy their half backs. I think they
have I might get cooked because it's off the top
of my head, but they might have the best half
back pair.

Speaker 4 (40:12):
I agree Sinclair and are the best half backs.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
At the Mason Wood does a role. He's underrated.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
I really enjoyed Jack Higgins this season so far, and
he's really enjoyed Adelaide so fast.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
But may he have a bad game.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
He might have a bad game because he doesn't want
to be. If he was playing Adelaide or Port then
he could have could get booed.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
He still might get booed me if you still.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
He might get Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
I just enjoyed their season so far, so bring it on,
Bring it on.

Speaker 6 (40:37):
I like the positivity mate, team please just going to
zoom through the GBS team and Brent Daniels is the
only first the force changed. He's injured and the Inns
you're Stephen Cannilio, James League, Harvey Thomas and Toby McMullen.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
You just think that Stephen CONNELI would be the one
to come in there.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Yeah, I don't think the goal that might be.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Straightforward, but Jebby, Wes Steve.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
They've looked good so far this season, but it's games
like these if they want to win the premiership, they've
got to win games like this.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Yeah, they've got insane depth. I don't know if you
saw some of their VFL numbers last week or in
some of their players, it's just crazy.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
They beat Saint Kilda's affiliate sandring Am by one hundred
points and it was just absolute domination.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
So their depth is no issue at all. They're so good.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
I saw what you're talking about in the Yeah, some
of their players are dominating and they can't get into
this side. That's what I actually had that written down.
They're VFL plays done and they've got guys like getting average,
like thirty disposal and they can't crack into this side.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Just so the depth.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
But St Kilda have shown that depth as well.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
They've there's sort a lot of sand not at Sandring,
but in terms of a few other guys, like their
back line is just really strong. We saw a few
of the Saints guys around Jack mctray. Yeah, best best, best.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Move a bit to get there. That's just not true.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
Let's get into the odds with tab before we get
into the tips.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
We got Saint Kilda two dollars eighty five heads ahead
GWS a dollar four three.

Speaker 3 (42:01):
Pretty. Uh.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
If if you had these odds at the start of
the season, you go, I don't know, because Saints weren't
going to everyone didn't have him in the top eight,
but they going really strong at the moment. My best
bet in this one is a player multi Darcy Jones
fifteen plus disposals and to kick a goal. That's two
dollars sixty with tab he's in career best form. Darcy Jones,
the helmet man. He's flying through the midfield, he's flying
on the forward line. He had twenty four and two
goals last game and he's averaging sixteen disposals and a goal.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
So just has to get around his average and he's
a lock at two dollars sixty.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
I reckon for this weekends and margin lads or any
other thoughts.

Speaker 4 (42:32):
I think it's just a straight up WS win.

Speaker 6 (42:35):
I think it won't be convincing and comfortable. They will
also cruise as well for four goal win. Yeah, it
will just stay around that large the whole game.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
Yep in my opinion, So it's four goal gave mine
because Leo's final dot.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
I'm doing it boy, one of the most I jumped off.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Now, let's just face it like, oh, he's done it.

Speaker 5 (42:59):
They scround suits them more, I think with how they
set up defensively, and I think Giants want to put
pace on the ball and I think Saints can just
be a bit quicker at putting a body on and getting.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
In the way. How confident are you fifty.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
Does it have to be a forfeit involved no, No,
if we went for WS, yeah, maybe if there was
something like that, Yeah, I'm going on JWS by nineteen points.
Similar to Marcus, I think it's going to be really
close then like the lights of Jesse Hogan, Tobe Green
and there's more experience, players are going to step up
in last court and kick a few clutch goals. I
reckon all right, I can't believe your tip Saints changed
his mind. I said that last week though, And you've

(43:38):
been on the Saints.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
All year, so good on you.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
On you later the need they need a few more supporters,
then we go. I can't talk North Melbourne all right, last.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
Game of the round.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
I think this is the biggest game I'll gather around
in terms of the rivalry, in terms of the beef,
in terms of Leo sweating in the corner, thinking about
the pot Adelaide come back from last season.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
I'm literally doing that right now, thinking about the comeback.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
I knew that Adelaide versus Hawthorne Sunday, Adelaide Oval six
fifty Local time, seven twenty Jane Easton Standard time. Are
you nervously You're always ring mate, but like Port have
been horrible. But is it because of the comeback.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
Fire up for it, mate, they were fire up.

Speaker 2 (44:13):
How many points was it last year that the power
came back from I don't know, but first and many
of the game.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
If we don't know, that's all. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (44:22):
That's all great.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Let's get into the teams.

Speaker 6 (44:24):
Leo.

Speaker 3 (44:25):
You actually we'll start with you.

Speaker 4 (44:26):
You can go Port and then we'll go to Hawthorne.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
Awesome.

Speaker 6 (44:28):
Uh, there won't be any flashbacks scary flashbacks for yeah,
because he's out without Darcy Burne Jones.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
He's suspended.

Speaker 6 (44:37):
He obviously kicked the match winner in the wet when
they came from behind the inns. On the extended bench,
Tom Cochran, Ivan Soldo, Travis Boke and Will Lorenz. You
assume Travis Brok would bespect boy, it's not like FORLCK
for Burne Jones. But I just got to get in
and he's actually been not bad this season. Considering his age,
you're expecting to drop off a little bit, but he's

(44:58):
still getting numbers. Yep, you're still good numbers. So uh
that's the Port Adelaide team. They're still just lacking that
for another man, another tall man.

Speaker 4 (45:09):
Yeah, for similar to Melbourne.

Speaker 6 (45:10):
I think yeah, I think it's not can they outscore Hawthorne,
it's can they restrict Hawthorne?

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (45:16):
That one leo with the Hawks.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Team please well days out. We've talked about that. That's sad,
unfortunate for him. It's also a tissue don't touch my ball, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
James war ball comes in yep, apparently, So that's apparently bo.
He's on the extended bench, so he might not be touched.
He might be a bit touching. Go ned Reeves also
in Jayce wrong and Henry Husayn play he was so good. Yeah,
I do too, but I don't know if he'll do
that well against Port in that environment.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
But what very good.

Speaker 5 (45:52):
But look, I'm happy with the changes that have been listed.
I don't see Reeves playing also wrong really but look
this Hawks team, they go with small ball in the
forward line. Finn McGinnis is playing his fiftieth game, so
kudos to Finn. A little slack message there go. The

(46:12):
thing that stands out for me hawthorne strengths are they're
small than the forward line. Port did enough to cover
it last year in the semi final, but I don't
know if they can replicate that. So Hawthorne can get
it down there enough, I think.

Speaker 3 (46:24):
It'll be they'll be pretty efficient. I think I'm hoping, hoping. Yeah,
I agree with that one. We want to talk about
the rivalry as well.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
Obviously, Ken, they had the erarorplane go and see her
later Guinea to Ginnovan and there was a lot of
beef between those two. Sicily got involved. Everyone's saying, Ken,
your agent, bet he was a coach. The coach shouldn't
be doing that.

Speaker 5 (46:43):
In my opinion, I love the coach shouldn't be As
it happened, I was pretty pissed off because I was
a Hawks fan.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
Why is he doing that? Because I woke up the
next day and I'm like, this is brilliant for football.
We need more stuff.

Speaker 6 (46:56):
This is a big rivalry now because of that, and
I show a bit of personality and now, look, people
don't want to see it, Like if Jake Jack Guinnovan
on social media, it's like it's just not serious. It's
probably just joking around.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
But still Ken can have a joke around as well.
I think so too.

Speaker 5 (47:11):
I know it would kill me, but it would my
neutral brain would be like if Horn Fancis did the aeroplane.

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Or buttons yeah, all Butters, I'd i'd be fuming, but
I'm just like that. It would be funny what I
want to do.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
It seems like the type of man if you're up
a big margin, is bringing out the aeroplane tolebration. You will,
that's so funny. He might do it if he kicks
first goal in front of the porch. If you just
throw grab.

Speaker 4 (47:36):
If you win, do you walk up to Butters and
be like, sign the contract with this?

Speaker 3 (47:40):
Now go like this to contract'd be good? Be good?

Speaker 2 (47:42):
All right, let's get into the odds with Port Adelaide.
Are the underdogs here two dollars seventy five, even though
it's at their home ground Hawthorne a dollar forty five.
They're flying on top of the ladder four and now
we just talked about in Jack Guinavan. That's why I'm
going to be having as my best bet a play
a multi here Jack and Evan fifteen plus disposals and
two plus goals. It's probably my biggest value one for
the weekend. Four dollars twenty Just an outright bet revenge.

(48:04):
That's what I'm looking at. He's going to be looking
at Ken going. I want to do all I can
bring out that airplane celebration. He'll be up and about.
He averages two goals actually against Port in the last
three meetings, and I reckon he could push up the
ground get a few goals. This fifteen plus disposals is
definitely doable. So four dollars twenty we tab jump on it,
all right, dips in margin are we all go?

Speaker 4 (48:22):
Oh, we're not going the same team. So I'll start
with letter first, Hawks by three and I die.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
Ending we got an early flight the next morning. Yeah,
don't remind me Hawks win.

Speaker 4 (48:36):
You just got a goal out all night and then
just jump on the plane at sixteen. Yeah, there we
go that.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
Nope, I'll give my tip before you because I feel
like you was a big one. Hawks by twenty points.
I think there are much much better side than play
Adelaide the Ford Niners and there Hawks and kick a
hundred points power. I haven't proven they can kick more
than like seventy unless you're playing the bottom four sights,
So don't trust the power at all.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
I'm gonna go Hawks by twenty.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
You're a bit different.

Speaker 4 (49:01):
You've got the power kick behind us, the horny one
behind you.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
I am going and I am going the horny one.
I am going with him.

Speaker 4 (49:09):
I don't know why, but it's just the type of game,
the game game.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
But just gets up for gets under our skin, plays
his heart out. It's one of those himself.

Speaker 6 (49:20):
He's talking my tip for me. It's just wonderform. But
it's one of look my head, says Hawthorne.

Speaker 3 (49:25):
But I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
I've just got this inkling that the power will just
get over the line. I go within six points, yep.

Speaker 3 (49:31):
I'm sorry to do that to your ball says yeah.

Speaker 6 (49:36):
Ball says yeah, And I've got to I've got to
go with the ball, so I'll go Port Adelaide. It's
just it's one of those where form goes out the window.

Speaker 4 (49:43):
It's like that is true, that is true?

Speaker 3 (49:47):
Why not? Why not? There we go.

Speaker 4 (49:48):
That's the tips for that one. Now let's have a
quick break.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
All right, big.

Speaker 4 (49:54):
Calls, lads, we love this on the Thursday night show.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
We're going to get a big call this week. I'm
feeling it. Leo, you start us off, big cool.

Speaker 5 (50:00):
I think Ben King and Ben Long I didn't realize
they were both name but anyways, both Benkking and Ben
Long will kick eight plus goals against North Melbourne.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
I looked at you, Wait, both kick eight plus goals?

Speaker 5 (50:12):
What I mean, don't get funny with me now, I
just looked at your game last week against Sydney. Will
Hayward kicks for a Mardy kicks four.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
You know, I'm Mardi.

Speaker 5 (50:21):
To replicate the Gold Coast version is Ben King. Hayward
to replicate the Gold Coast version is Ben Long. So
I just think those matchups will worry you a little bit,
and I whitlocked. The draft won't be on Ben Long anymore,
but Aid and Core I still think Ben Long could
kick kick three or four.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
That have a day out as well.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
Yeah. True, I'm sorry about that one, but it's very fair.
Both in great form and they come up against one's
been Long in the.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
Top ten players for Champion Data.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
Probably should I say that, I don't know. He's also
a sniper. He loves taking people out. I can't stand
him anyway.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
He's in good form.

Speaker 6 (50:54):
Marcus ongoing, Jack Higgins has a change of heart and
he goes back home to victim aarrior.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
Loving Adelaide was weird, maybe because the quantify that he
says it on the mic man.

Speaker 3 (51:05):
Surely he's got off court. He's actually had to walk around.

Speaker 4 (51:08):
Someone's taking him out to a couple of nice places.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
We need to hear him.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
He's gonna he's going to go on the ball in
the wool shired. He's going to have a beautiful time.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
I'm not giving you a win on this unless he
says I actually like Adelaide, because we can't.

Speaker 4 (51:20):
This is not this is a weird big I don't care.
I'll beat you guys anyways in future weeks.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
That's just what was your big call?

Speaker 7 (51:26):
That was it?

Speaker 2 (51:27):
I don't mind that as long as he says it.
I think that's a big call. If he says it, okay,
I probably got a win though. If he says it
he said that, all right, My big call is a
shy Bolton four plus goals.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
He's against the old site, a bit of or not
really revenge?

Speaker 3 (51:41):
Is it he wanted?

Speaker 4 (51:43):
Did he win a Flayeah? He won a favorite Richmond obviously,
four plus.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
He's done that I think five or four times in
the last couple of seasons, but it's always against some
of the lower teams.

Speaker 4 (51:52):
Obviously, Richmond we think is going to be a bottom
four side, he'll pop up. He's paying more forward.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
I think people thought he might go on the midfield,
but has midfields elite, so he'll stay forward in this one.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
And he could get four goals.

Speaker 6 (52:02):
Even with Hayden Young coming back into the side. Yeah,
just just less minutes available for him in the midfield.

Speaker 5 (52:07):
But that'll be his biggest I just hope it's not
a classic Bolton game where he kicks three goals.

Speaker 3 (52:11):
For He's not.

Speaker 4 (52:13):
I reckon he could have at least like six scorings.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
It might be like four goals.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
Two fingers crossed. Hopefully, hopefully it might big call. All right,
what are we keeping an eye on? To finish off
the show?

Speaker 3 (52:22):
It can be anything gather around related.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
Or what are we gone?

Speaker 3 (52:24):
What are we going? Sally's celebrations and keeping an eye
on that's celebration is yeah, yeah, do the gritty on
the counts. That's not nick.

Speaker 5 (52:32):
I wasn't trying to do it, but I'm looking out
for some celebrations. I want to see the airplane from Guinea.
I want to see Ken do a Sally or something.
Ken's coming out, half to see Horn, Francis and Butter's
do something. I want to see Jack Higgins do the
love Heart emoging.

Speaker 3 (52:46):
If he does that, I'll give you a big call.
If he kicks a goal, does the love heart, he
loves that. I just want to see some Sally, So
I'm on the hunt for him.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
I like out, He's always on the hunt.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
What do you get?

Speaker 6 (53:01):
It all the best, the best thing about gathering, and
you just see players everywhere in the street, people around
the club, people around together. In bathrooms you share I
wouldn't say share a urine all with them, but you
know what I mean in space, but it's a different
type of.

Speaker 4 (53:20):
Bond, of that bond we all know it.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
What.

Speaker 4 (53:22):
Yeah, in the bathroom, of course, you just start casual conversation.

Speaker 6 (53:28):
So what's keeping an eye on. It's not the players
in the bathrooms, it's players out on the town.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Yeah, it's cool having some activations, just seeing them as humans. Yeah. True,
they're just people at the end of the day, just
like us.

Speaker 4 (53:39):
They can just be a little bit better at foot,
they're a lot better.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
I'm keeping it on just the Adelaide over.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
I've heard big things were there last year, but I
didn't get to experience a lot of the drinks.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
A lot of the food.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Apparently, there's all types of cuisine, there's all types of drinks,
and you get cocktails. You can get anything you want.
So I'm very excited for that side of it. While
I'm watching the footage, just to try a bit of everything.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Should be great.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
We'll be there a few times this week, so most

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
