eleven with tips. I think it's one of the toughest
tipping rounds.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Definitely.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
So we had one of the closest rounds of all
time a couple weeks ago. This one has to be
the toughest tipping round. There's so many fifty fifty games we've.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Gone a little bit similar though spoiler.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Spoiler, Well we'll touch on it later. We will stats
and debates. Of course, we've got the locks and big calls.
I'm posing this to you, guys. We'll come up with
this on the socials. But if you do not get
your lock right from now on because you two. I
think Leo didn't get his lockover right last week. There
is some forfeits on the.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Way from now on because I agree.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
You got it right.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
No, that's fair enough. But as if we're kicking it
in after he models up. Muddle that's a new word.
I like itocked.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
There we go and yeah, we'll finish always with the
big calls and just a lot of stats along the way.

and any merchant things like that, which is good fun.
And check us out on all your podcast platforms. All right,
we're getting into it. It's week two of Sir Doug
Nichols Round, so I think the beautiful kids are out
there Round eleven previous let's get right into it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Thursday Night Footy. Here we go.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
This could be one of the biggest build ups to
a game all season. Geelong versus the Western Bulldogs. Bailey
Smith returns also not returns, but he plays against his
old team that he hates, apparently Thursday Night seven thirty
at the category of my cause, I'm very excited.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
But what a better way to start as well? Yes,
the Bulldogs versus Bas, Bond versus Bas Liver verse Bas
just just everyone again in the world against Bas everyone
from foot screen. They're going to lay into him, stranger.
So what was the quote? Again?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
He was saying, at least we don't have to play
that you don't get out of and then but I
had some words back.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
So there's there's been brewing for a while. We love it.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I'll tell you what these two teams have to have
to play against each other in Ballarat next season, next season,
two seasons.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Fifty thousand crowd, Now let's just do it with five thousand. Yeah,
just for the atmosphere, Yeah, hostility towards them.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Why don't they play a like preseason game there? I
think that's yeah, you know what, that's a that's a
good show. What I do. Yeah, that's what it does.
I don't know exactly what he does, but that's what
he does well.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Both of both of these I was arguably had the
best wins of the last round. Obviously, the Dog is
obliterating beloved Bombers and also Geelong.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Smashing smashing Pudelie. I agree with that. So one of
them has to come back down earth. It's just which
team will it be.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I'm leaning door a little spoiler, but I'm leaning towards
the Cats are gonna be brought back down to Earth.
But the recent performances from the Dogs have speared them
to the second favorites in the AFL premiership boards.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Do we think that's a little bit rough? They're the
second best team right now.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
I think it's only because I don't think they're playing
to the level of a premiership just yet. I think
it's because I personally think it's because all the other
teams have been crap, so Brisbane should be playing a
lot better. They would be the equal favorites with Collingwood.
Usually they've been playing crap. Hawthorne have been a little
bit up and down, and then the Suns Adelaide like
to them, aren't experienced. I think it's a bit any

(04:48):
other year the Dogs wouldn't be second favorites.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
But they make them second favorites because they are the
second best team and every other team isn't playing that well.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah, but I'm just saying, I think it's more the
other team's not playing well than them playing really well.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
That's what I'm gonna second interesting. Well, nevertheless, Bevo is
going to get rewarded. Well, it looks like with a
contract extension, didn't we everyone everyone in the a FL
community was almost had half a foot kicking him out
of the door. But credit is good. His side playing
great footy, and in fact, they've got an excellent record

(05:20):
against the long Bevo does down a gm HBO. They
won the last two meetings by at least four plus goals.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
The last one was the mud ball and the do
you remember that it was gm HB A last I
think it was last season it was it was I
think it was the most recent. Came it in mardin
brutal conditions and the Dogs loved it.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
That's that's a pretty good record going in this game.
And I think which along as well. They they're all
weird side, you know, staff you haven't really given them
their flowers times, but they have gone win loss, win,
loss win.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Yeah, it's tough.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
So how did they lose the Carlton how you know?
And then losing to Giants when they should have won.
So this is they just need to get a back
to back w here.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
It's a very important game for them at home. Can
they stand up?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
I think they can stand up.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
The only thing I am worried about with the teams
that have good records down in GMHBA, the likes of
fre O, GWS and a few other teams Dogs as well.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
So that's my point.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
When when they come up against teams that aren't scared
of the category, they usually lose the last couple of seasons.
So if they win this one, the confidence will be
there and I think Bas will be the one to
step up. Or will he There's a other question I
wanted to pose before, but will he get a bit
too into the fights and not worried about the footy
as much?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
What do you think? I think he'll get a lot
of the ball. I think he might just be a
little rattled how he uses it be under a lot
of pressure from the dogs.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, I agree, and I think these two sides are
two of the best tackling sides in the competition. It's
gonna be fun there, and obviously the Dogs got away
with it a bit last week and will so did Geelong.
But I can see this being a very very hard contested,
not very high scoring game.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Oh okay, there we go, there we go. I got
one more staff for you.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Lads are actually the number one offense in the league
and of actually averaging ninety seven points in their last
three meetings with the Cats, so that just.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Goes against what he just said is a real high
scoring game.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
But I think the defense has been pretty strong, but
the Dogs offense has been their major factor. Even Norton
hasn't been firing, it's then there we go a bit
of a time of them. But their mids have been
the ones that have helped. Like if you have a
good midfield, We've talked about this, if you have a
good midfild kick goals you can win flags. Yep, yeah,
I agree, absolutely, all right, can tipsy? This could be
the one where we go a bit different. So that's

(07:30):
why I've kept mine out your tip here later, I.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Think we should say together we've both gone dogs five
point fifty annoying when they got interviews, they're so annoying.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
I'm going to get a TikTok.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
You can get away with both the talent, but you're
both gone dogs by fifteen, dogs by fifteen.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Then they can go down to the category three in a.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Row one hundred. What about you. I'm going to go
the Catters.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I reckon they're going to get the job done.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
You give me a.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Poo No, definitely not doing that now. I just think
Bailey Smith will step up. I think he's going to
talk the talk and they'll get the jobs one jezz.
I think you need a bit of confidence from last week.
Talk to talk and then you walk the water. Stop
your yellow yellow carden. But then is going to kick

(08:24):
a few goals. But I think he's got his confidence back,
So I'm going the Cats. All right, let's swiftly move
away from that game. No more, no more pairing over there.
Let's get into Friday Night dream Time, lads, the biggest
game of the weekend. Dream Times absolutely awesome in Sir
Doug Nichols round. If you can get to this game,
get to the pre match stuff and halftime, it's always awesome.
I feel like Baker By Baker Boy might be back.
I've seeing him live in that game a few times,

(08:45):
which is awesome. Obviously, it's Essen and versus Richmond Friday night,
seven forty at the mcg lea.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
This is your one, this is my one, and the
Bombers have to respond in this game. We don't want
to touch on too much of last week, but it
wasn't a pretty sight last week. Thought the Dogs the
first thing to lose to the bye. Look, we know
that Merritt will respond. That's just who we agree, a

(09:10):
great player, one of the best in the comp. But
I want to see some of the others lift, Like
Cold rolls a bit down last week. I thought, you know,
Nick Martin had a lot of the ball, but maybe
wasn't at his tackling best. Same with like Mason Redmond
and player and other players like McGrath as well. And yeah, defensively,
I just there was so many mistackles last week. Couldn't
lad tackle, could not lay a tackle, very bad at

(09:31):
closing space. Dogs were just always finding a lead out target,
always using the corridor. The one two is with Bailey Dale.
And then offensively they can't score eighty points.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Yeah, I was about to say, I was I was
playing a drinking game where it was probably every time
Essendon kicked a goal or later tackle had a shot.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Also the whole nor I was going to stay that's
a pretty bad drinking game. And then on the flip side,
like talking about Essendon response needed, Richmond are just like,
let's just cause a stir, like we've already hit our
win quota, let's see how many more we can get,
And really just was a bit of a ruckus.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I reckon this game is a similar vibe to the
Carlton game. So they had nothing to lose in the
opening game of the season. Everyone's like, you're not going
to win a game. They came out and put the
pressure on it actually won. I'm not sure they'll go
on and win, but I think they could keep it
close because the pressure is on Essendon a lot more
than Richmond at the moment.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Like you just said one hundred percent, but Richmond will
be out, will be without Lynch and Bolt for this
one or the curfew. The curfew was struck again. But
I think if you're a Richmond fan, you'd just be
really happy with some of the green shoots coming through,
like This is what we've talked about every week with Richmond,
and I think we should just keep talking about it
because they're good to watch. Like Sammy Lawler, I thought
played the game last week. He didn't do one thing

(10:47):
wrong on he's marking the goal square was very good.
And you know, we keep touching on Seth Campbell, but
he's just an excitement machine. If I told you you
had seventeen goals this season, which is the same amount
as Nick Watson, what would you say.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I'd say that's unbelievable for a side that's what are
they sixteenth?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Sixteenth? That's Nick Watson is Like, I'm a Hawks fan.
I think he's a gun, going to be a gun. Yeah,
Seth Campbell's equal to him in that regard. I think
that that is an outstanding stat for the young man's Yeah,
the young man.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
That's probably like around your.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Age, Seth Campbell young.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I don't know, it just sounds weird. You're saying young man,
young man.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Fair enough you go on the beard out, I guess,
But Marcus, you do have a bit of a punishment
on this phone. What do we call it? Yeah, we
can say, we can say wait till we get to
the big call.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
I know the look because okay, it is my look
of the week. Is what will happen? And if it
doesn't happen, you've got a punishment.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
That's my my.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Later and then we can put on the socials and things.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
I love the cheeks, you love.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
But Lafel actually could be a sneak really long shot
in for the ritual.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
He was girl last year. Yeah, that's just another one
to look out. And with Lynch out, he could be
a sneaky in. But he played like pre plane quarters
in the VFL last maybe another week, maybe too soon. Yeah,
I love that.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Before we get into the tips of margin, lads, you've
got the best on ground world that you can award.
Who do we think for this one? So I feel
like we're leaning towards the Bombers. So it's going to
be a Bombers player, or it can a Richmond player
even get it.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
They've put me on the spot here. Yeah, that's what
we do, that's what he does. I'm going to go.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I'm gonna go with the either Sam Durham or Zach Reied.
I think without Lynch, I think Reed will just be
taken into set marks or not.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
I'm going to go Zach Merritt, the obvious ones. I'm
going to say, Sam Durham, Sam Durham, I'm going to
go a bit of left field. Nick Martin like.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
That he's had like twenty five touches four or five
times this year. I reckon he could get a couple
of goals just steaming off the wing a half back.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
I reckon he could.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
He could do.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Nick Martin, the good looking man.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
All right, tips margin, good looking man, Leo, give me
a tip margin for the dream Time game, please.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
I tipping the Bombers by eight points. I think they'll
they'll win this game, but in essen and fashion, it
won't be more than double digits. Yeah, double digit it's
fair enough. All I'm hoping for a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
I'm saying we've got to win by at least five goals,
especially with their outs. I know it's the occasion sort
of does form get thrown out the window of these
sort of games because there's such a young side like
you just get peered up for that even more. Yeah,
for anything less than that ken as a loss.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
You can as a loss. Really, I think after last week,
you just got to go out and win. So I'm
going to say, I'm going to say twenty points. I
think it'll be pretty comfortable. But the first half that
Richmond have shown pretty much throughout the WHO year except
against North, will be pretty high intense. Now they bring
the heat and I reckon they'll be leading at halftime,
but then Bombers will last team roll them after that.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
I mind it all right, Saturday, here we go. This
is another big one.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Carlton versus Jaws Saturday twelve thirty five at Marvel Stadium.
This is actually the start of a mini gather round
on Saturday. There's three games in Melbourne. You got two
at Marvel, one at the MCG. You got another one
at Marvel and the MCG on Sunday as well. Yes,
this is like a mini gathering. It's a It is
a bit weird, very weird, but that's right. We get

(14:01):
more footed down here in Melbourne. This one Nick Hayne's Cup,
I'm calling it and you could. He's the only player
that's played for. What would you call this cup? There's
a Jad Lamb Cup, the Jed that's a rare one.
The Jed Lamb Cup you got on market.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I'll get back to you on a very niche player, Okay,
Jed Lamb's pretty niche.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Zach Williams, Yeah, he's not pretty niche. But nick An's Cup,
he's been doing pretty well. As we've talked about the
last couple of weeks, there's a huge game for both sides, lads.
In regards to the top eight, You've got Giants five
and five, which isn't too bad, but.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
They've had a horrible not by their stand in their
list exactly right, and the.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Blues are four and six, So both really want to
win this game. Do we think that they need to
win this game to prove to themselves that they can
make finals, or even just to make finals, especially the Blues.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Do we think that?

Speaker 2 (14:44):
I think so, But we also said it last week
when they played Sydney and that was the same for
the Swans as well. So true, they do need to win,
and four and seven is not ideal. Five and six
is a lot more manageable.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Well, I think I think this Christian Jacks Cup is
going to be possibly the game of the game of
the round.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Let us know in the comments who you think the
Cup should be named after, but that should be Jack's
games that he played.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
He played exactly seven at both clubs.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
That's just beautiful synergies, symmetry or symmetry, whatever you want
to call it. We've got rumors that TDK might return.
Have you guys heard anything else about that, because.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
My sources indicate that I'm unsure.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Oh there we go.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
That was actually right. We've got giants.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Have no Callahan, which obviously hurt his shoulder, which is
which is a huge hour. I know he hasn't been
that consistent, but he's just that Rolls Royce, the guy
that can set him up. And when Tom Green as
isn't at his best, I feel like Callahan steps up.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
So and there's no Josh Kelly either. Oh yeah, injured,
So this is the midfield is a bit scarce, whereas
come maybe he could exploit that.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yes, no, I agree, that's yeah fair point. We've got
Toby Green as well. We've talked about him. I think
every single show I put him as my big call.
Last week he didn't step up for me. Is he
finally going to step up? Like he averages his least
disposals against any other team against the Blues.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
So that's a bit of a word.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
The average is only like just over a goal of game,
which isn't horrible, but for his standards that he averages
like two goals against a lot of teams.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
So what do we think Toby Green time? Are we
seeing the decline? Maybe thirty one, He's a couple more years.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Look at Pendals, Yeah, penn Outlire its side bottom.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Look at Danger Feels, but they're all like here.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
I don't know if Toby Green's there one.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
That could be a little bit of a Do you
think he's up there with Danger Pendals?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I don't think one hundred Toby and Green, I wouldn't
go that far. Yeah, thank you, but he has been
an excellent, excellent player and he still is.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
We can't get better than the excellent.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, Calvin fans, they'll be worried about the
second half. They've lost nine of ten second half this year.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
That's what's costing. They looked even like sold against Sydney.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
They'll leading all the stack categories last week in the
first half, then they dropped off tomadically.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
But the one. There's a few good stats for Carben
coming to this one.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
JW have lost five of their last six at Marvel
Stadium and four of their last five matches this season,
like that game against Sydney that I went to over there.
They shouldn't have lost to that Sydney side. They've they've
been wonderful, which is really unlike like you talked up
Jito Best, I think as your flag pick, what is
going on at the start.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Of the season.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah, is really concerning, and I think it was even
highlighted more by their shocked like lost to Freeman or
by six goals and they could have lost a game
by more.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Absolutely, so this is this is probably the toughest one
to pick.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
What do you reckon?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
That's the tips of margin for me, because this could
swing either way, I reckon, But I'm really worried about
the Giants more than the Blues.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
The recent Giants record at Marvel makes me say Blues
by seven, but they probably have to be up by
sixty at half time for that.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
At sixty young, it's going to be so close. So on,
and even a shorter margin on the Blues by two points.
I just think you spoke about possibly the midfield will
have the trick there.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
And also I'm loving the look.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Of the matchup of like Courno Curno, Yeah, and Curno
has a very very very good record at Marvel Stadium,
so if Sam Taylor can keep him quiet, then who knows,
they're well in a shot for winning this game.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Absolutely, I'm gonna go Blues by ten points. Same thing.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Gws aren't that good at Marvel. They've had a worse month.
I'd say they've been They've just been horrible really, but
you can tell that we don't have that much confidence
in the Blues. We've all gone ten points are less.
So this will be a really fun one and one
of the games of the round. I reckon, all right,
here we go, Marcus has got this one. Hawthorne versus
Brisbane Saturday four fifteen at the MCG.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
We're back in Melbourne. Yeah, take it away at my causa.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Well, this is the first time this season that Brisbane
will head into a match as the underdogs, really, which
is kind of surprising. I think Hawthorne have only been
the under been the undooks two or.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Three, not many times.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Yeah, but it makes it makes sense because the Hawks
have won the last five meetings between Brisbane between the
two sides, and they've all been at home.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yep for Hawthorne.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Whether that be mcg or Marvel or Tazzy, So they
do have a good record. Hawthorne's midfield, that's the big
talking point. Wasn't you going to play in all out?
He looks like he's definitely going to be in. Wasn't
on the injury list, wasn't on the injury list, so
he looks all good to go.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Think it was a bit of a scheme. Was in
a moon boot? Yeah, it wasn't really scared me. But
you talk about Josh Ward, does he need to step
up because you said he possibly needs to fill a
bigger role. He personally, I feel like he's turned the
ball over a little bit too much this season. Yeah.
I think that Eastern Monday game he definitely turned the
ball over a bit too much for my liking. But

(19:42):
I think he has warmed into his role a little
more each week. He does need to have that big
game against the contender though, because he's sort of taken
easy wins no offense to you know, Richmond, West Coast
Melbourne step up against Brisbane and I know it's at home,
but the g's a big occasion. I think he yeah,
definitely needs.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
To and you're going to see a lot of big
host of changes for Hawthorne coming to the Swide after
they did risk quite a few players against gold Coast
and your man, stat's go Jack Gunston being one of them.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Yes, so man, because he's close to him in age.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Is that Yeah, just a goal kicking ability and I
could have played for Hawthorne that Gunstan. Yeah, if he's back,
that's a huge and as the rumors that he's going
to be back arrested for one, he had four goals
last meeting with the lines. You guys Hawks have an
awesome record against him, and he it was a sort
of like, oh you got h I left.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
You guys, and then I'm going to kick goals against you.
So it's a bit of a weird one.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
He lost all his powers like a space jams order
when he went to Brisbane and then he kicked four
goals against them.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
They're like, why do you do this for us? Like
it's a bit a.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Bit brutal, But I reckon if he comes back, he
could kick a lot of goals and he just fixes
your fault, like you're locked if he plays, you locked.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Him for a hundred points a game.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
I don't I don't know about that. It takes it.
It takes the pressure of troll as well, one hundred percent.
And to add to it, like a few other ins,
you got me probably back troll back, impy back, back
to bed back, nash back. Yeah, IMPI back is what
I meant to say. So begins hopefully and you can
can play as well. Yeah, that's a little good squad
depth sort of players. But on the flip side, Brisbane

(21:10):
looked like they might have to make a few force
changes because they've dropped six points in the last two
weeks against North Melbourne and Melbourne.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
So that's not good.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
You're reading for the reigning premiers.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
No, and you know, we said they haven't played well
so far this season and now we're seeing that on
the results, on the results with points on board. But
press conference Chris Fagan, he said they're lacking hunger, they're
lacking desire, and I guess you kind of I don't
know if if winning premiership makes you want more or

(21:41):
whether it's sort of we've got it now we can
take our foot off the gas.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
We feel like it goes like fifty to fifty some
sports people you go, they win it, they go, well,
now I know what it feels like I want to
go again, whereas others, maybe the oldest sort of players
are like, ah, I've already won it. They've got a
few older guys there. But he backtracked on his comments
a lot, Chris Fagan. He was saying that he was
just talking about one of the quarters they were really
bad in. Yeah, okay, and he didn't mean it for
the whole season. But you said it mate. He probably

(22:06):
shouldn't have. Don't say that.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
He shouldn't say. It's interesting as well because like you
look at the recent year is Geelong Premiership hangover, Collingwood
Premiership hangover. So Brizlon are going to be trying really
hard and it's going to start with this game to
stop that trend. They want to not just like be
make finals, which those two sides haven't after winning the flag,
but be a top four side. So they really want

(22:27):
to win this game. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
I think they'll bounce back as well, maybe not get
the win, but definitely better performance was on the field.
It's just a shame this isn't like a Saturday night
blockbuster because it has a good game written all over Saday.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Saturday four fifteen or like three twenty games beautiful and
I'm roll straight into the roll straight.

Speaker 4 (22:46):
Into the Saturday night. It's the perfect time if it's.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
A nice day as well.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
The other one I wanted to touch on, Kitty Coleman
was back last week. I know he didn't do that much,
but him, he loves the MCG. He just loves the
open space. So I'm hoping that he's eighty one week
under his belt and I'm hoping that he can because
he's one of my hor it plays. He's so good
to watch, So hopefully he fires up and he can
do well for Brisbane. All Right, tips here, this is
another really tricky one. The Hawks have a really strong
record being the lines in the last five. As we mentioned,

(23:11):
what are your tipslets, I.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Think Hawks by three. Brisbane will come out firing, but
I think Hawks can just hold him only a Hawthorn
by ten points on. Hang on, I feel you're tipping
in Brisbane. No, No, they'll have a better performance. Why
did I put Brisbane in the tipping graph? Human chat?

(23:34):
You've edited it.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
He's edited it. It said lines, it lines. Oh, this
is a conspiracy. You know what happens if you tip
both you get the drawer. Though he would have had
he would have had a draw for pretty much every
game this season.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Actually, I can't talk.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
I'm a new man. He this is recent anyway, lines, No,
I don't like this blog. Now I'm going Brisbane. Good
changing the graphic. Brisbane by one hundred and forty seven points.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Geez, that's a big bounce back. I cannot possibly tip Brisbane.
You can't be drawing to North. You can't be losing
to Melbourne and then think you're going to rock up
at the Mcy'll be angry.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
They'll be angry. They're anger.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
They can't play footy at the moment. So I'm going
to go to the Hawks by twenty two. I think
it'll be pretty comfortable. The lines are just not up
to it. I think they'll be fine come the end
of the season, some finals and things like that, but
right now I can't trust them at all.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Fair enough, there we go, all right?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Saturday night another blockbuster Collingwood versus North Melbourne Saturday Night,
seven thirty five at Marvel Stadium.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Another one in Melbourne.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Of course, Leo, You've got a lot of North game
North with your North mates and really surprising one of them.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
No, I already see it enough.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
It's all good Leo take it away.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
So I think this game is going to be an
absolute goalfest this one. I like that. I think you
got Bobby Hill and Jamie Elliott. They're in great form.
Bobby Hill seems to always destroy North Melbourne.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
I think you kicked four in the last jeez.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
As well. He's just an elite player, Nick Larky. Great
record against the Pies, is that right, stats guy?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Absolutely, which is pretty surprising.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
But he's got four goals, five goals and five goals
his last three, so Ducy Moore is probably going to
be out. I think either way. I think either way
it's a great match. It is probably a good matchup
for him and that Marvel. North like to lower the
eyes a bit more.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Hopefully, well yeah hopefully. So yeah, I think this will
hit hit the over. I just think I can see
a lot of goals North of really trying to hit
their attacking straps. But the Pies, though the flag favorites
for a reason, they just keep finding ways. So they're
just an exceptional side. And then you look at North
and they've put in a really great month, a football
competitive month. I just wonder if it's just all going

(25:45):
to come crashing down in this one, and it's just
a little bit ugly. What do you think?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Genuinely as a North fan, I reckon it came crashing
down even though we won on the weekend.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I know that we won, just hear me out.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
We played the worst footy of the last month on
the weekend and I don't know if I think we
played slightly better against I think we played a lot
better against Brisbane and I'm missing a game in there.
But as I said, what was that, Yeah, same, we
played way better against Port than we're needing it.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I know that's a big call.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
I know we won and I'm very happy, but I
think it already sort of came crashing down of it.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Well, I said that on last week on last week's
Wednesday Show, I said it would all not sort of
come crashing down, but if you don't win by at
least three goals, then I wouldn't be happy.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah, I know what you're saying. I know you're saying
because it's been we've been close games. Sixteen points was
the combined margin the last four games, which is wild.
But I know I know he's saying later, but I don't.
I'm not going to lean towards that way. Al right,
fair enough, Yeah, there we go, all.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Right, tips and margin lads.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
I feel like.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Everyone's going to be leaning towards Collingwood. But what do
we think there? Yeah, I think Pie. I'm going to
say seven goals, but it's not going to feel like
seven goals. North will feel like they're in the game
and they'll look up and they'll be seven goals.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Now that's a big yeah. Yeah, it's hard to look
past Collingwood. Isn't it the best team in the competition.
So twenty seven points Collingwood.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
I do say one player to look out for Finn
bar Melee the moves I think he is. He has
one of the best hands in the competition does and
if he's coming up against the second Collingwood tol defender,
whether it be Frampton or not, I think he could
have a few contested marks and Cookick a few snags.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if Frampton can back
it up from last week, because he was great on
through the last week, so that'd be good to see.
I'm going to go Pies by nineteen points. One of
my surprises on the socials was that North can keep
it close. We're like a forty seven or eight point
lead last year and choked. I genuinely think at Marvel
we can be a lot more competitive and the Pies
I just don't think they're going to smash them.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
But even though they're the best team, still, do we
count four goals as being closed?

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Nine en points eight eight points? Three goals?

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Three goals? Is that right? That's against the top team
when we're seventeenth. Ok?

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Sorry, sorry, Yeah, that's all right, don't do it again,
all right?

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Next game here.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
The other one on Saturday night eight Senate opt to
Stadium is while you're up the Frio Dockers against yacht
to pull to the Port Adelaide Power. Now we're gonna
touch on this one because he's probably one of the
biggest outs of the weekend, The Horny one, Jason horn
Francis is a huge out, especially against Freo.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
You've got so wrong.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
You've got Brashaw probably one of the best duos in
the competition, and you take that out. They already rely
on him Butters and Rosie way too much. So now
the three prong is down to two.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah. I wonder if they'll move Rosie in the midfield
atle bit more. Now with that little bit worried about
the star power in there because Rosie's obviously been playing
half back, so interesting.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, what do you think what would put your coaches
had on there?

Speaker 2 (28:35):
We love to do that. Sometime you're Ken Inkley, as
Ken Hinckley, I decide to walk away from the Port
Adelaide Football Club. No, Now, if I'm Ken Inkley, I'm
probably playing like more of a fifty to fifty split
between I like the back and mid for Rosie.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yeah, because you need Rosie. They need Rosie a bit
for the delivery of the pace. But then if they
start losing their clearances, you've got to put him in.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Ken Hinkley's got a more important mission. What's that going
off to the moon with the minions.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Oh he's grue still the moon like that. Fans now
crying out for back to back wins. They've gone win loss, win, loss,
loss win. They just want back to back wins. They
haven't had it for what is it, six rounds there,
and they should be playing a lot better. Like as
I've was saying at the start of the season, I'm
really excited to watch Frio they're probably like my second

(29:23):
favorite team to watch this year. Yeah, Like at the
start of the season, I was saying that because teams
keep an ions, Yeah, teams to keep an eyeon. And
if they get back to back wins, I think they
can propel. But do we think if they don't get
this sort of win they won't have the confidence or
get towards that finals that they should really be making
this year.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
They're playing a depleted power. I think they just have
to win, and have to win well yeah yeah at
home at home as well.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Yeah, I think if they win, we don't really read
too much into them, but if they lose, we read
a lot into them.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
But if they win, well, like six goals, but like comprehensive,
I think thirty four.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
If still I'm thinking they're playing Port Adelaide, who aren't
in the best of form, just got smashed at home
to Geelong. They're not playing great footy. They've got their
own injury concerns. I just think and off the field
troubles and like, I don't know our freemen having that
bad of a season that we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
I know they're not playing the best of footage. It's
just the way they're playing. Yeah, but they're the inside
the eight on percentage.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Yeah, you're right with you. We're probably being harsh. I
think it's just because everyone expected them to be top six.
Most people tipped him in the top six. I'd say
we all did.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
So.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
One thing that Leo talked about on the Sunday Show
is that port they've been giving up goals to tall forwards.
I was saying that Luckie Jones has been too bad
down there. He was okay on Jezu he's injured. You've
got horn France out. This is going to come crashing down.
But they have been giving up goals to tall forwards
all season long. So you've got Jazz kick seven last
week a few weeks ago, Thriller kick three. That's okay,
but he kicked three, Norton kick three, who's been horrible.

(30:49):
So gim kicking three is like kicking six on you
guns then kicks six and Member kick four.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Membory doesn't kick four anymore. And memory was the only tool,
wasn't he?

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
And I think my chick got three goals to that
game as well. So they're conceding a lot of goals
to toll forwards. That's where the big kahuna comes into play, lads, Tracy,
I'll get it into my big calls. But he had
three goals last meeting, and Frere they're really lowered the
eyes last game and just hit him up. So I
think he's going to have a huge game, especially especially
with no LUCKI.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Jones, Yeaph, I love that big call. There we go you.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
I'm going to touch on how many you will kick
in my big call, but you wanted me to explain
that well, and.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
I hope I did that. Justice, good job. There we go.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
All right, here we go, while you're up to pull
the tips and margin, lads, this is going to be
a bouting.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
I reckon, what do you guys think?

Speaker 2 (31:31):
I think Freer by seventeen. I reckon They're not going
to be convincing Freer, but they'll they'll win.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
They'll win yep for thirty four points. Thirty four Yeah,
I'm more leading towards that. I'm going to go by
forty points. I think I've been saying it all season
forty plus. It just feels weird because they're going to
go back to back wins. But Power have some big
outs and they just rely on they will notice a
big out in that middle of the ground without horn
Francis especially and their forwards and things like that.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
So we'll see how.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
That goes all Right, Sunday Fun Day, as Alia likes
to call it. We've got Kawana the Adelaide Crows taking
on at Walatage Morara. That's the West Coast Eagles Sunday
once t at the Adelaide Oval.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Marcuts or if news couldn't get any worse in the
West Coast Eagles community over the past week or two,
it's just going to be boosted by the news this
week that Jeromy McGovern it might not ever play again,
which is which is an absolute shame because he's been
absolute champion for West Coast Beasts. He was so influential
as well in that Grand Final triumph. So he's going

(32:31):
in front of the panel to assess his concussion issues.
So look, they found a way to win last week
without him. Albeit this is a very different lineup and they're.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Much stronger at Adelaide.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Adelaide's tools are very very big issue that I assume
they're still in the top ten, all three of them
for goal scored. Boggedy has been great. It was great
again last week. But look, that's going to be tough.
But will it be a factor because there's going to.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Be a lot of wind and rain forecast in our Jane,
butover here normal normally Adelaide weather beautiful? Is it? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Okay, it's very good from us, but when we're gathering
strong wins, I think it was like thirty eight K's
the brunt of the rain will becoming the following day,
but there are still expecting some rain, so that we
need to get a.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Greens game behind markets like the waft of rain coming
into an evil scene Queen's it's actually very sunny, but
in Adelaide it's good.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Well it might that could perhaps be the perfect storm
for West Coast and play into their hands because it
might not play in Adelaide's. But nevertheless, I still think
Adelaide one of the best sides at home in the competition.
It's a bit of a fortress there. But what do
the West Coast Eagles do with Oscar Allen boys?

Speaker 4 (33:46):
Do they forward?

Speaker 2 (33:48):
He showed a bit forward, I think to him and
him and Jake the Snake, keep him forward. Adelaide is
so tall in fall line. Do they need him Battle
Point do. They just need to put him convinced me
put him back. He's done a good back at all though.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I'm going to put it like the only I know
you can play defensive, but their defense isn't good enough
for that mcgomy.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
He's a full time All Australians.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
They're just not good enough. No, just put him forward
and go for the goal. Fest lamb Ryan was last
quarter was tearing it up. You can kick two and
his best can kick two, water making kick two.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Lane Baker. I know he's been playing half back. Chuck
him half forward, he can kick two. I think I.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Think they had a lot of players West Coast who
had twenty odd in a goal. They got him over
the line against Sat Kildo.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yeah, I think this The Crows will win this pretty comfortable.
But I genuinely think if they go for the shootout
more than the defense, they might have more of a chance.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Okay, or is that a big call.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Because they're Adelaide's four lines awesome, but especially in the
wet like, just go for it.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
That's yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
This is this is the game though, where the likes
of Oazac Rankin and Joshua s Shelley they.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Just go Ham in this sort of weather. Yeah, and
at the Adelaide I thought they love it. They'll be
they'll be getting the hill fired up. The love it
all right, tips and margin lads, what do we think?
Are we all go on the chrom Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Well you talked about the strong wins. I think the
only strong win will be Adelaide by thirty seven points. Oh,
I'm not a strong win over there before. Actually, yeah,
I get.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
My Green scheme making even stronger wins. I'm going cromblow
fifty points on the Greens Green it does.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
I'm going to go in between your lads. I'm going
to go crows By forty.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Five sitting on the fence.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
That that is not sitting on the fence, that is
crows By forty five.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
All right.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Next one on Sunday is the Melbourne Demons taking on
Sydney at the MCG three twenty on the Sunday. This
should be a very tasty matchup. Obviously Melbourne are coming
off that amazing win. Max Gorn was on the radio
saying that that's one of his favorite wins in a
very long time, just because they've had a lot of
pressure on them and then Sydney they got a good
win against the Blues and they'll be a little bit

(35:50):
more fight up and I think their mifit is starting
to click a bit more. Heiny hasn't been at his
consistent best either as Chad Warner, but the last couple
of weeks they looked a bit better.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Lads yep, Yeah, yeah, they looked they look better. Warner
and Heeny very like probably the best game they played
together combined last week. Yeah, agreed.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
There's still there's still a lot of area to work
on though with those midfielders. Like I know, Heney's numbers
were incredible.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
We have thirty eight and two, but he was going
at a tat over fifty percent disposed to efficiency. So
there's still a little bit like the little niche stuff
to get them back to their best there. But they're
still playing like their midfielders are still great.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Like you, you're not going to say you don't want
that sort of performance, and arguably that's what's been missing
goals from midfield yep throughout their losing run, and Heeney
and Warner did that last week.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Yeah, hopefully Heney can straight up, but two goals five
that was just unbelievable. You got mcenernie and Amarti out
obviously those big concussions.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Still can't believe that one I got suspended.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Oh suspended the other way around they did the concussions?
Did it?

Speaker 4 (36:48):
Were that really badly there?

Speaker 1 (36:49):
But yes they're they're out. But you've got Marty out
of their ford line. But this isn't as bad as
against some of the other teams. You've got the D's
who are still ranked fifteenth on offense, like they're not
They're not firing on offense. We've said a long time
they need another forward. I've got some stats against the D's,
but then I'll have some good points for the ds
as well. So I've got Melbourne have lost nine of
their last eleven matches in Victoria. Now we've talked about

(37:10):
their fans not turning up and things like that sometimes
to the G, but they've just been horrible at home,
so they'd rather watch them on TV sometimes. The Swans
also have an eight and two record in the last
ten against the D's at the MCG, which is another
big worry.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
But the Demons are building.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
They've actually got the equal most points on the ladder
in the league since Round five, four and one in
their last five The.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
Lost they could have against Hawe.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
The only other teams that are four and one are
calling one of the dogs, and we're saying they're the
top few teams.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
So they've they've at least turned the corner.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Ever since that lost the North, they've looked a lot
stronger because that was like the just seems like yeah,
I think it's the.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Lost to essenonce since then as well. Yeah, and gather
around of course, so later.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
This is one We've talked up Simon Goodwin last week
and then we were talking him down earlier in the season.
If you were Simon Goodwin, are you using Claire as
a tagger first of all? And who are you putting
him on?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
After that? Putting my coach's hat on again, I would
be using Clarry as a tagger again. I think you know,
Neil was we had thirty last week. But I think
it just opens the door for these other mids and
I'd send him to Heini. I just think Warner has
too much pace to Clarry to get away from the stoppage.
I just think around stoppages physically, Heeny and Oliver probably

(38:25):
match up a bit better for the d's interesting interesting
old go old go Warner to be honest, just gets
the ball and he's away from Clarry quick on over.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
I just feel like Warner is a more momentum building
player for Sydney than he needs.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
It's a great point, like if he bursts out the pack.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
And kicks a goal from a stoppage like he normally does, Yeah,
that'll just roll the crowd up, roll the team up
even more.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
But that is a very good matchup. He could do
that with Clarry on him. Yeah, So that's that's why
I can stop heeni. And then I don't mind that
Warner do his things.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
No, I agree with that one.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
And then the other one, which one with Leo you
were the last you we miss debate for this for
this round.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
But the other one is James Jordan's up against his
old side.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Do we send him to anyone at the D's I
personally don't think so. I feel like he could play
well against his old tidy. He'll be excited to play
against him.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
What do you guys think James Jordan?

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Yeah, I think we see we see him too much
in a tagging role for Sydney because he's great at it. Yeah,
but also I think where this is a game you
sort of have the luxury to, you know, let him
do his own thing, let him, let him play, give
him a different sort of role in this game, because
the only person you would really throw him to.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Is Petrarca.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Petraco, Yeah, but he's probably not going to be able
to care about with Petrarca.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Yeah, in terms of speaking, I don't think he is.
James Jordan and Jake Dowie not bad.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
Jake Bwie has been unreal.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
He's been very underrated this season.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
Little Bowie, he has been really good.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
All right, tips and margin lads, Well, this would be
interesting if we all go the same or how we
go here?

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Leo, who are you going? I think DS win this
byth thirty points. It'll be a good good win. Wow,
Lucky Alex is in here because I'm also going to the D's.
I'm going to go oh by a few points. I
think it's going to be so close.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
I reckon this will be really close, tough game as well.
I'm going to go D's by twelve. I can't believe
we're all going the d. It's a fifty fifty game.
We've all picked Tosston turned in this one.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
But I'll sleep over it.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
I just think that they've had actually a pretty good month. Yeah,
I'm going to lose sleep over it tonight. Few my
tips are.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Over there, absolutely all.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Right. Here we go Sunday four forty, Marvel Stadium. You're
a roke.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
That's the sent Saints versus Gold Coast. This is your one,
your your Saints. You've tipped almost every single game and
I don't know. I don't know what's going on there.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
I love it. Why are you laughing? Wait? Son Suns
are a risk at Marvel. They lost to rich In
there this season, they lost the North there last season.
Dimmer hates going to Marvel just like I hate coming
out and hanging with you boys. Oh that is just
it's unsuccessful. What do I get out of it? A
good time? I lose every time, I lose money every time.

(41:02):
We don't have to invalue any of that. It's all good, okay,
but they just hates it. Ever since then, they've only
had that kick after the Sirn win against.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
So they're one and four, one and four under at
Marble obviously that one, but they probably should have lost
that one as well, so they haven't gone too well.
That's the third time we brought up that Es sending
game Boys was socially moved. That's right, keep going.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
They've had two games the Suns in hot Darwin conditions,
so I wonder if that'll play a factor. But then
if you go the opposite, they've got a ten day break. Yeah,
you think they'd be a little bit freshened up. You
think they'd come out firing. The Saints are potentially without
Nas and they are without McCrae. So I pose the

(41:48):
question who can lift for them? And don't say Jack
Higgins because he's already done it. I think one that
has to lift for them is Brad Hill for a while.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Yeah, yeah, this is actually that type of game where
he does though, because he'll have to get a lot
more of the ball. They'll probably looking for his leadership
and things like that.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Maybe Jones sort the type as well. Well, he's v's.
I feel like he's going to You're going to lose
someone in that midfield. You're bringing Zach Jones about the pooh.
He's probably warming into it after his injury, so I wouldn't.
I don't expect him to lift.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
You're a big Saints man or d you reckons.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
All of them? Because I think they're going to win.
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
Really, I don't know about that yet, but I genuinely
think that without the stout McCrae, mccray's a bigger out
if NASA is out as mccrazy huge, because you've got
Noah Anderson, You've got Matt Ray, got too Millup arguably
one of the best midfields in the competition.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
He's got Ron Marshall, Jackson, Claire jack Steele. You think
I's been playing like half back mid like actually on
a thousand because I'm I'm just.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
Rattled because you're talking about the Saints that much.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
But that's no.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
I think the Gold Coast midfield, I think with McCrae out,
especially like mccray's just played so big of a part
for them getting the ball out, getting that first handble
out of the contest, clearances and whatnot, I think the
gos mifield.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Is going to run right. Yeah, I disagree.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
I agree, all right, Well give us your tip then, Leo,
this is a bit of a surprise.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
Daints fifteen. Lock it in lock no idea, no lock
I heard lock no. But they'll win. They'll win. We
take that to the bank. That is just that's outrageous.
That's outrageous.

Speaker 3 (43:28):
I'm going to go the other side of the coin
gold Coast twenty two points.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
I'm going to go Sons by fifty two. This is
the time where they smash them Marvel. I genuinely think
without McCray, the Saints are cooked and the Sons are
just much better.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
They've got a ten day break.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
They could have played another game in between them at
dar one and they still win this by forty plus.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
I can't wait till the Sunday show where you'll have
to eat some humble pie. How on what flavors humble
Pie Leo flavored?

Speaker 4 (43:56):
Oh no, I don't I'm not coming in. That's all right,
that's what it tastes like.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
I don't want to find out later away.

Speaker 5 (44:03):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
All right, that's that's all the around eleven previews for
the second week of Sir Doug Nichols, around the Luck
of the Week and Big Calls is up.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Now, all right, the lock, let's do it.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
I'm saying this.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
It's on the record.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
If you get a lock wrong, we are sorting out
a forfeit. Okay, are you okay with that?

Speaker 2 (44:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:17):
I want some consent over here from the last two.
Let's do it sure, all right? Cool Leo, I'll start
with you because you've got it wrong last week.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
So you got a step up Bobby Hill two plus.
Oh that's a lock again. No, Jackson and I are
to tagging him. This will, this will happen, this will No.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
I agree with that one Essendon win dream time.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
He la on my Essendon will win a dream time.
And if they don't, boys, I'm getting the yellow Richmond
sash died on my head.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
It's not just oh yeah, I'm getting the sash.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
I'm getting the.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Sash and I might even get twenty two laylock saved
in the end too, the into the back of the head.
I'm going to get twenty two la seem shaved in
the back of my head.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
That is outrageous, Everyone's fan.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
I could get a like semi semi permanent. I'll help
you out. You just have to do the head I have.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
But that is crazy.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
I really hope rich and win. Now, that is awesome.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
Go to the Tigs all right. My lock is Nora
Anderson twenty five plus just boring. It's a lot, but.

Speaker 2 (45:28):
Wine. I think that's the least more but.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Yeah, but at least on dying my hair and my
hair like I had wings, mate, that almost killed me.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
We'll figure out a forefeit. Just keep your panties on.

Speaker 4 (45:43):
Yeah, geez, that is a lock. No, Anderson is a lock.
It's not a big call.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
It's just a lock. All right.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
Twenty five plus? All right, big calls. Now this is
where I can get a bit more Larry.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
Marcus, a bit more Larry.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
There we go.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
Yeah, and hair wherever you want to call it.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Marcus.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
West Coast failed to score fifty points in horrendous Adelaide weather.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
I don't mind that. Is that a big call? Away?
Hang on, that's not a big average, like EP says,
it's a big call. He thinks Corey Duran is the
best player camera. I'll be willing to go down forty
keep him.

Speaker 4 (46:16):
We'll go and keep him forty five.

Speaker 1 (46:18):
Me in the middle, Okay, in the middle on camera
because of the switching of the camera. But West Coast
Fouler's got forty five points for Marcus. We'll give him
that one.

Speaker 4 (46:27):
Leo, what's your big call?

Speaker 2 (46:28):
My big call? So I'm going south and Paul Curtis
combine him for seven plus. But there are just a
little rumors that seven URTIs might not play, So in
the instance he doesn't play, still got a big call
for you, and that's soup five plus.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
Okay, so what do you reckon?

Speaker 1 (46:43):
The breakdown will be if Paul Curtis and Larky play
for the four three fourth?

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Great? Do you need Paul Curtis better without him at
the moment? That is true, but we could have.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Won some games against against Brisbane if we had him.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
He's a he's a three to four gold differen because
you get a couple and he sets a couple up.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah, agreed. And he his nickname is bench Press. Yeah,
he's got the best bench press per I was gonna say,
per capita, that's could be bench press. That's a great call.
That's a short right now, let's get him in. I'll
get him in for that.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
My big call is Josh Tracy six plus goals. As
I mentioned before, Port love liking goals to the big forwards.
Jesse kicked seven last week. I think the big Kahuna
or what do they call him, Triple Dick cyclone as well,
he's going to kick six plus goals in this one.

Speaker 4 (47:28):
There, we love it big.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
That's a great call.

Speaker 5 (47:30):
All right.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
I think that'll do for AFL Today. Are we done?
