Speaker 1 (00:00):
AFL Today is around at fifteen previews here with where
one man down? But Leo, what are we talking about
on this one?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
I'm going to mount a case from why Nick Haynes, Yes,
Nick Haynes and Mitch Georgiades could make.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
The all Australian side.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Do you feel that I don't know that? Really good
mates don't know about that one. We're gonna have a
look at Nick Daekos and the tag up windager who
wins that one? Check it out on AFL Today right now.
Welcome back to the AFL Today Show, brought to you
by Stocker. Here for all of your round fifteen preview needs.
I'm your host Liah McCain, also known as the guy
the couch is looking a little bit bare today. No

(00:33):
Marcus Barzano, but we do have Liah Malai. We're gonna
double team this podcast. What a duo we have here today,
What a jueo I have rocked up for work.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
We actually haven't heard from Marcus in what like eighteen hours,
and he did go on a.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Date last night, so who knows. Hopefully went well for him.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Well, hopefully he's back on the Sunday. Because you do
look a little bit lonely.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I'm so lonely. Ok, here I missed my boy Mark.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
The two are usually touching each other. You're ready to
get the show? WHOA, that's all right? Allegation probably love,
probably love. Anyway, it's another awesome show as we delve
into all the matchups, tips, debates, stats. We're also going
to have the locks and big calls. I reckon, I'm
going to get another lock, right, I'm happy.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I would hope.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
So we're not going to get a big call, right,
We'll get a lock right now. We'll get some big
calls right. This week. We're also going to have an
all Australian debates, so obviously our fairway through the years,
so you can talk about the Australian the best players
and some smokies as well, which is going to be
good fun and everything in between. For round fifteen, make
sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel. Please subscribe. Hit
the notifications, but it goes a long way. We're about

(01:30):
seven point two seven point three subscribers k around that market, yeah,
which is really really handy. Follow AFL Today across x TikTok,
Instagram and Facebook. Facebook is Aussie Rules Today and that
includes our yehnr Beer's social posts. So we've actually already
filmed that on there, we were ready to go.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
We have a spoiler alert it may or may not
feature in a later segment of this show.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
There you go, Astralian Australian. Yes, absolutely, and of course
make sure you get around this wherever you get your
podcast on your podcast platforms. All right, let's get into
round fifteen pre the Crows, the Hawks, the Demons and
the Eagles are on the buy. We want to just
ten seconds on that sick of the by rounds.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, we've had like eight this season, there's still one
more to go. Just do one or two one a year.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Leave it at that. Thursday Night footing is what we
want to talk about. Freeman of versus Essendon eight ten
at OPTAs Stadium. Now, Leo, we've got a different look
on this one and the conditions they're going to be interesting.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Normally we will give you the best analysis and insight
because that's what we do on this show, but we're
going to give you that, but we're going to give
a little bit of a different perspective.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
So there were two games at Optus last week.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Stats guy.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
There was obviously Freo North and West Coast Calton. There's
been rain all week. It's like twenty to forty meals.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I'm a weather expert, absolute mediorologists over here. And this
for those who don't know state of origin the night
before as well on that ground, this ground is going
to be in an absolute chambolic state for this game.
And to add to that, the Bombers, the poor old
baby Bombers, because they're they're baby film now some young kids.

(03:01):
They're playing three games in eleven days, whereas the doc
is a second game off the buy. They'll be fresh
as a daisy. So if we're keeping all of that
in mind, we got a big picture here. I want
to ask you stats guy, who do you think that
advantages and how do you think this game will play
out based on all those little parameters.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Well, usually the underdog you go all in the wet,
but I like Freo's just playing in the wet. You've
got sarong Embrashaw just really good at ground level. And
obviously shy Bolton can pick up a footy I reckon
if it was covering in dis Shy Bolton can pick
up if it was covering dishabe he can pick up
a footy, you know, But I think it still helps Frero,
especially the game after the buy. Like, so you've had

(03:44):
two games after the buy, we noticed the teams then
when they come off the buy a little bit shaken
up and they need to reset. They've got another game.
Because obviously Frero did look a bit shaky against the Ruse.
But I think this still advantages Frero because I'd rather
them in the wet than the BOMs.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Do you reckon because they've played three games in eleven days,
the Bombers that they could be in it at the
start and then fade away or reckon at the start?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
There, Wow, shaky. Usually you'd say yes, But the last
five weeks, the first quarters for the Bombers have been
why for you? They've considered thirty nine points in the
first quarter in four of the last five weeks thirty
nine points.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
So you're telling me that based off the last five weeks,
they could get blown off at the start, and then
because they might have heavy legs, they might get blown
away late second quarter might.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Be pretty good. Yes, Look, I think it's a tough one.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I think I completely agree with your stats guy.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I think it'll be they might get blown away to
start with, I think it will be somewhat close, but
I think as the game goes on, free or will
be fresher, especially in those tough conditions. If it's in
a close in this game, it's a fantastic performance by them,
and I.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Think that they can do it.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
They showed against Brisbane up at the Gabba that they
can stick around to a good side away from home.
But you know, it's, as we said, three games in
eleven days, and you know, we look.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
At the midfield and the rock bat.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
It's an interesting one. The battle is very interesting because
of the debutant Lamp.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, so they have another debutant on the eleventh of
the season, Essendon Vigor Vzantini, brother of Dante. I think
that might be my favorite brother pairing in the AFL.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Dante and Vigo.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Is that just because you're your Italian as well? It's
beautiful Italian, beautiful.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Italian names and I'd love to know where they're from.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
And Vigo is.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
He's up against Luke Jackson and Sean Darcy, but mainly
Jackson will set up for a huge game here. I
think you'll you'll dominate in the possessions around the ground
will just run Vigo into the ground, the.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Poor poor guy.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
And I think it will also set up Sarong and
Brashaw for a pretty big game because when Jackson's up
and firing, and you mentioned earlier, Song and Brashaw are
very good players in those sort of wet conditions. They're
the best defensive mids in the comp.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I think it's pairing.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
So I think with all that in mind, it's going
to take a mammoth effort for the essenon mids and
if young Vigo can look there's no press on the
young man.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
But imagine he just stoop stoop up.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
He steps up and had a big game.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Is that Italian still stoop up? Yeah? No, I agree.
I think I think they've thrown him to the Wolves
a bit though I'd be having Goldie one more week,
but he's an older man.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Goldie had, as we've said, three games eleven days. They're
gonna have to rest.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, true, he's an older man. That's all right. But
I'm excited to see Merrit in the mifit again because
obviously had a lot of center bounce attendance his last game,
so it'll be nice matchup. He gets to go on
so wrong as well, which we get fun tips and margin?
What do we thinking?

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I think freo by forty five, I'm.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Going to go free oh by forty I think the
conditions mean it's not going to be a huge smashing
but somewhat low scorings. Yeah, I agree, I think especially
state of origin there as well. That's brutal for op
to stadium. But yeap, well they get lots of us
board over there in personal Why not? All right? Friday
night footy is the next one? Geelong verse Brisbane? What
a match up? Seven forty at Goomba gm HbA stayed,

(06:53):
you even heard that one Goomba Goomba. That's the logosa
now lea. Yes, Geelong are handing out white tops on
the seats to everyone in the fans, so every one
of the top I actually might be caught on. I
didn't actually look at that, but they're all a nice
Geelong white tops. Similar to the NBA playoff games. I've
been to a few myself and you'll get a shirt
and everyone in the crowd rag mate. I wasn't even

(07:14):
trying to brag that everyone in the crowd gets an
awesome shirt and it looks so cool. So they calling
it a wide out game in the spirit of the
sporting tradition like this, what's your favorite or what do
you think can be more influence in the AFL. That's
a great question. I'm a.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I don't mind like a splitting up the fans like
they do it, you know, football as they say soccer, Yeah,
like epl and and things like that, and having different
sort of sections for fans.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Like in a way end a home and and you
just like that because you don't want to have any
fights with other fans, like I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I think the limbs would be awesome when the god
and I think having chances throughout the game as well,
like Ossie's.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
They don't like to do that. They find it a
little cringe.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I feel, have we got any Hawks chance for us
or a geelong Oh Jesus, that's off the top of
the dome. I'll get back to him to do it.
Josh Ward Wizard, Josh Ward, Josh.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
I'll cook up something something. Put me on the spot.
But I really like that. I think we can sort
of take things for American sport, not like everything, because
sometimes that can be a bit annoying. But then in
terms of like soccer. The chance would be awesome the
separate things, and I love the shirts. Everyone gets a
shirt and looked really good in the.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Oh yeah, but as a shirt.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh yes, felt about that would be really good as well.
In terms of the actual game, it's dangerous three hundred
and fiftieth. So what a legend he's been. He's got
a Premiership, a Brownlow eight all Australians, not bads.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
That's not bad, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, that's that's pretty damn good. And four bnfs one
at Adelaide and three at Geelong. I think he's had
a better career Geelong because he's sort of grown into
the player he was, but he was still a beast
at Adelaide. Yeah, he sort of he burst onto the
scene at Adelaide.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
He wasn't a grader at Adelaide and the state at
the level he has for so long now, like this year,
I think we kind of felt like he'd have his
his moments and his games.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
And where he be impacting.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
But he's been very consistent throughout the season and been
one of their best players, especially ahead of the ball.
So I don't see why he won't play on next season.
To be honest, Yeah, I think he can play it.
He's an absolute beast. I had a look at him.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
They'll showing his old highlights for his three fifty then Adelaide,
he's grown his hair back. He's I reckon he's gone
to Turkey's hairdback, Like his hairline was worse when he
first started, Adelaide.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Maybe he was just getting a lot of haircuts and
then decided I'm going to grow it out.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Maybe because he has very nice I think people do
as well. I'll do they. I just think he's me
to Turkey sighlight. Anyway, you need to probably look at that.
I just absolutely said that. I'm a huge game for
the lines. On the other side, they've won two of
their last six, but they haven't lifted against some of

(09:47):
the lower teams. So yeah, Lee, I've got a question.
Can they lift here? Like this is a huge game
for him. They need to lift. They need to show
something at least stay in the game, otherwise they lose
a lot of confidence here.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
They absolutely need to lift in this one.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
They lost to GWS at home last week, and they
lost to Melbourne at home, which is what a month
ago now, So.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Drew to North Drew to North.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
We actually spoke about it in the Sunday show you
in particular about that they've won two of their last
six games. They did lose to Adelaide buy what a
goal away from home, but again they shot themselves in
the foot there. They need Their performance against Hawthorne was fantastic.
They need to put together a complete performance and just
come out and shock the Cats.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
And will they I don't know. Yeah, it's tough. So
they've got no Jack Payne, who I think is an
underrated defender. He's an absolute gun taking He's really good.
So Darcy Gardiner will come in.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
He's okay, all right, I can do a job, but
I think he'll be undersized on Shannon Neil if that's
the case, and chaneil Ye obviously coming off four goals.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
They've still got the talent though. They've obviously got Logan
Morris coming through. So you've got the Ashtroft brothers who
absolutely starts, and Logan Morris specifically five goals last week.
Kick twenty five already for the year, only had twenty
four in his rookie season. I think he could have
another good game here. But yeah, there's some of the
older guys need to step up a bit more.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
I feel like they just if one thing works, another
two things don't, and they're not really putting together complete performances.
And I actually want to throw to you on some
nervous and if you haven't seen this on our weekly
power rankings on the Socials, go check it out because
Stat's guy makes himself look like an idiot because he
said earlier in the week in the power rankings that
the Lions cannot win the flag?

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Do you renegg reneg ah? If they keep playing like
they are now, then I'm going to say the fence
it or over here. But I did have a bit
of heat of the moment. They are frauds because they
should be playing a hundred times better. But I think
if they just find it and can finish in the
top four somehow still they'll be fine. They could still
win the flag.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
If they finish in the top four, but they're playing
the way they are. Do you think they could No?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
No, I think Geelong and Collingwood right now are miles ahead.
Miles ahead right now right now. Interesting you don't agree.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
I don't know about miles.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
I think like if if Geelong and collinwod are playing
him in a preliminar gram final. They're going to win
right now, Okay, but they did.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
But they did beat Gelong at the MCG in the
prelim last year.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
That was ages ago, ages ago, Gelong. I've never done
it to Brisbane.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
No, they have in mind. No, that's all right. Anyway,
Brisbane have been in Geelong sorr. I haven't beaten Geelong
at gm HbA since two thousand and three, so that
was back when Brisbane were really really good. Obviously, I
had some threepeats around two years old. Geeze, you're young.
That's wild. That made me sound really old. I was
what was five years fifteen. Anyway, let's get into the
tips in margin we've gone on and swings a roundabouts there.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I think Kats actually win this by five goals goals.
As we've talked about the lines poor form and Geelong
have been in a lot better form of late. I
just think they have too many scoring options going forward.
And Brisbane yeah, just have not convinced me.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
No, I agree, I did. It was very harsh towards
Brisbane just then. But I think they can sort of
lift with this one. And Geelong have had some close
games so I'm going to go other than last week.
Obviously the Bombers one. So I'm going to go Cats
by twelve points. I think down at the category they
lost to GWS there that was a bit of an
unexpected result. They do lose to some of the bigger
teams there, so I think it will be close, but
the Cats will get the job done.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Kinds win, well, that'll throw your power rankings at of whack.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
I know we're going to be in five favorites. I
don't think that's going to happen. Saturday one twenty at
the mcg is Carlton a Verse North Melbourne. This is
going to be an interesting one.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Leader, This is going to be an interesting one. But
I want to throw it straight back to you Ston. Really, yes, really,
our North better place than last time these two sides played,
which was what like eighty two points a couple months.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
I don't want to talk about that. Yes, it was
eighty two points seven games ago. So since they last met,
I do believe North have come a long way. I
do believe. I say a long way four North standards.
So you've got seven games since they last met, only seven,
that's I know. And some teams haven't even played each other.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
It's a bit weird. So seven games since they last met,
North have had two wins, one draw and four losses
by under nine points, well really under nine points. Yeah,
So like it's been so hard beat a North fan
because you just want to get over the line. But
that has been a lot of improvement, especially on the
defensive end. So you've got the Blues kicked one hundred
and fifty three points last time we played, and since

(14:09):
then North have only conceidered an average of seventy seven points.
So I think there's a lot of improvement, mainly on
the defensive end. You've obviously got Commons doing well the
last three weeks or sorry sorry two of the two
and maybe three weeks. I'm gonna say three weeks. Luke
McDonald's actually been pretty solid and I know you're not
the biggest fan.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Of him, yeah, but we praising when he's informan playing,
and even Toby pink stepped up. I think he was
in our best team and he's clearly in our best
Definitely he's a very good defender. So as a North van,
I've loved the improvement. Would like a few more wins
but I think we've come a long way since that. Yeah,
last time you bring up the defense for North and
it has been improved. There is no Harry McKay for

(14:47):
this one. There's no Walsh kicking it to Harry McKay. Yes,
and Kurno is a test So that does help your
defense because I feel like when Carlton come up against North,
it's always those big guys who either dominate, dominate or
bring it to ground for the smaller guys.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Is there anyone that could come in for Carlton? Yeah,
Harry Lemmy. So I've got a few Carlton mates they
met me. Let me tell you about him. He's going
to kick four goals last week in the NFL. A
lot of Carton fans think he's the man that should
come in. But obviously with mackay out, even if mcurno plays,
if I was Carlton, I still play Harry Lemmy. I
reckon you should because North just can, other than the

(15:25):
last few weeks, can see goals for the big forwards.
So yeah, what do you think would you bring Harry Lemy?
Because I don't think you get enough output from Jesse
Motlop and some of the small as well, Mitch mcgarv
I don't think.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
If I'm if I'm Carlton and Kurno has any doubt
of playing, I wouldn't risk him. Yeah, I know Carton
will play him.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I agree because I think Carlton can win this without him.
Do you Reckon? They'll just play him anyway.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
I think I'll just play him anyway. That's what they
do really care this.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
That sort of helps that they don't need to or
play all their big players. They've actually won the last
five against the Ruse, butage of forty six points. Yeah,
I don't think Kerno out changes that, like the big
margin like if he was out in some of those games.
Cut and Steward a one, but a big battle on
this one probably the most fun batter you got that
feel some big literally big TDK versus Cherry so probably
two of the top three ruckman in the competition. Battle

(16:17):
for All Australian. Who do you Reckon? Wins this matchup?
And Battle of Australian? Can TDK make Australia or.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Is that a bit TDK's AA squad and not the
team just yet? This battle is going to be awesome though.
I think Jerry's a clearance beast and the rock he's
a strong boy. TDK's you know, your endurance, run around
the ground, do damage around the ground.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
So it'd be really interesting to see.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
I think if North competitive and win clearances off the
back of Jerry, then Jerry wins the battle. But if
TDK can hit the scoreboard and push Jerry defensively, it's
gonna be a great watch. If I'm being and you
don't normally go to games to the rock battle.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
The last couple of years we've had some really good
rocks like Rob Marshall, Gorn Cherry.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, but you don't go to a game to watch
Roman Marshall verse, Timmy, that's true, but you go to
a game and watch TDK.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I don't mind.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Watching Jerry verse TV intrigued by that.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Yeah, So Cherry's eight and disposals TDK twenty so he
gets him on that one averages sorry, Cherry thirty six
TDK twenty nine. Cherry eight clearances TDK six, so still
really close. Then the difference. Cherry loves the tackles, so
that'll be interesting if you can get him too ground
six tackles, But then TDK is better around the ground
four point five inside fifties, which is yeah, he sets

(17:25):
them up, so he's that extra midfielder and then Cherry's
that extra grunt that North meete. So that'd be good fun.
Tips and margin. We've broken it down. Surely the Blue
still win.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
I think Blues will win, but I think it'll be
somewhat close. I think on the g it'll be open
for North's game a little bit, but clearances, it'll be
interesting clearance battle as well.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
I think Blues will win by a couple of goals,
just a.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Couple of just a couple of goals. I'd honestly take that.
I'll be heading. Oh you're going to the game as well?
What was that? That's a stat for your North? Leo
goes for the Hawks. How many North games have been?

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Just seven North games and eight Hawthorne games?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
That is wild? What do you I get stressed watching
North game? At least you I get just watching it. Yeah, exactly,
I'm gonna go. Blues are gonna up a bit by
thirty points. I think North can be in it for
even two and a half quarters, but just they just
got a lot more depth. I think if Kerner does play,
can be even more but if he doesn't, yeah, twenty
five to thirty points on. I reckon they Mrge's gonna
be yep, all right. Next one on Saturday is Port

(18:19):
Adelaide at versus Sydney at the Adelaide Oval, four fifteen Saturday.
H letter. There's a few potential inns for Sydney which
could the swansor be cheering cheer, cheer, cheer.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
They'll get a Mardy back from suspension. Yes, but potentially
as we are recording Wednesday in the morning, Paply and Errol.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Could be back in.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
It's pretty tasty. Do you think it's been the bigger
missing piece for them? Oh, we talked about this the
other day.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Honestly, Paply just in terms of goals, they can't kick
a big score, which we're going to touch on in
a second, and Errol like you've got Warner, you've got heeny.
I know they had many of their best, but they've
got enough plays and they even Macanoti has been playing
pretty well. They need goal kickers. They need a goal kicker,
and Paply can kick so many goals.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Seeh I disagree. I still think Errol, I think it
is the obvious answer. But Sydney a player obviously, Yeah,
and I'll.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Touch on it a bit more now.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Actually Sydney loved to bomb the ball inside fifty, frustrating.
Eryl's precise kicking would have helped a lot with that
sort of issue. And to combine with that, Port's defense
the last couple of months, last month very very improved
to been very good. Do we think that, considering Sydney

(19:30):
not the best ball movers at the moment, Port's defense
has been strong, that this could be a low scoring game.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I definitely think it could. Have got some stats for
you which I can bring to the show. Sometimes you've
got sometimes he's the stats guy. In terms of kicking
ninety plus this year, Swans have only done it once
that was against North when they smashed them why about
sixty five points, and Port have only done it four
times this year. So both teams just don't go big
and don't go ninety plus very often. So I don't
think it's going to be high scoring at all. You've

(19:55):
got George Yards down there for Port, but not many
other guys that are consistently kicking goals. And then if
Papley comes back in, I think they can kick a
few more goals, but Mary's been Marty's inconsistent.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
A lot of their thoughts are very and they haven't
relied that well, they have relied on Francis and Hammling
and that that you know isn't gonna.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
They've done a job. Yeah, they can't do that every week,
So I think this could definitely be low scroing. And
on Port's defense, I just want to keep saying about
Radigalia because I used to give him so much crap.
I think a lot of a lot of people. I
just thought he was an AFL standard when he was
at the Cats and then he came over and he
was stuffing up a lot. He's so much cleaner. He
just looks confident, he's taking marks. He's using his body
more because it was always this big, muscly guy that

(20:34):
just wouldn't use his body he was. He's using his body.
I just love it.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
He's showing why they got him.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
And yeah, because I think last year a lot of
people are like, why did Port go after Radigalia?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yeah, and they've got a good back line. When you
got Elider down there.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
And I don't know Zack, that's his act. Is he
fit at the moment either, way like it's a it's
a yeah, it's good and Port they're coming off two
big wins, so GWS away a great win and last
week as well against the D's was a really impressive
win and in a pretty good game football. How do
we think their emotions are going to be? Ken's sort

(21:09):
of fired them up a little bit. You got them
the two wins.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Do you reckon?

Speaker 2 (21:13):
They could just be a little bit too naked for
this one and just just the emotions aren't.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
There to perform. What do you think, Well, we saw
last week that towards the end of the game they
were knaked. But I think they can be up for it,
especially where both teams are on the lad of very
similar spots and against the lower teams Port, I think
we'll have the competent, competent competence. Yeah. Confidence, they could
have the competence, Yeah, they could confidence from the last
few weeks that they're like, we're actually better than where
I think, like fourteenth, we're better than that. I think

(21:39):
they're eleventh. Now, oh there you go, But they probably
have believe that they're better than that, even like they're
probably a final side. The midfield can stand up and yeah,
I think I think they'll be right. I think they
can take they take the emotion out of it. Maybe
I don't know, that's what they need it. Yeah, maybe
they need it. I really like the midfield better than
this one. Just to be off the cuff a bit
as well. I think that'd be really fun. Yeah, be interesting. Yeah,

(22:00):
all right, tips and margin this one later. I feel
like this is a hard tip because if Sydney get
those guys back then they could easily win this.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
But even if they get them back, I'm still leaning
to Port. Like they're at home in better form Sydney. Okay,
so they get Erroll and Papley back, they might just
need a week to get back into things, play a
bit of matching conditioning.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
So I'm just still I'm still leaning.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Port, still learning Port. Yeah, I'm gonna go Port by
just a couple of goals. I think at home they've
got the confidence up. Rosie's playing well half back. Then
he's gone in the myth. I think things are just
clicking for him a little bit more across the last month.
So I'm gonna go Port all right. Next one, Saturday night,
seven thirty five at Marvel Stadium, Yes, Collingwood are playing
at Marvel Stadium, calling Wood at Verse Saint Kilda. Now
Saint Kilda won this matchup last year at the g

(22:46):
They killed him in the third quarter. It was Spud's game,
so there was It was an awesome, awesome game. I
can't believe they won that last time.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
It was the Jack Higgins miracle goal from fifty that
was out of bounce.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
But that was definitely out of bounce. Do we need
that actually win that? What happened to that ball? To knowlogy?
Are they even using that? The one that I got
can go out of bounds?

Speaker 3 (23:04):
The one that I don't even know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
They had a chip in the ball that can detect
if it's over the line. Remember they were testing it
out in afiw of that just went out the window. Anyway,
Three of the last four have been close between these sides,
which really surprised me. Fifteen points or less. Reckon the
Saints can surprise Usly, you're a weirdly, which is just
a weird man in general. But then you also like
the Saints for some reason. As a Hawks fan, I

(23:27):
love the Saints. It has nothing to do with my
manager being a Saints fan.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Nothing at all. Oh, there you go, give me the bonus. Now,
I think the Saints, No, they can't surprise us. They're
going to be bringing some kids in. So Taru for
his first game is rumored. He's an intercept defender, very athletic,
tough at the football, and they're most likely going to
bring Philip Pooh back in from an injury in Darcy
Wilson from the VFL Souse. Like the young kids, I'm

(23:53):
on record saying that I think they've got some growth there.
Their older players are okay, it's the the gap in
between where they're really lacking that sort of elite talent.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
So no, to answer your question, no.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
No, I agree. I think, like you just said, that
middle sort of tier. Their top end and their kids
are good. But the depth, when you look at calling
it on the other side, is just all the way through.
Like some of their players who are their worst players
are going to get games in every side, whereas the
worst of players are the Saints. That's just the fact there.
We've got some good matchups here. We've got Stocker versu Allia.
I don't mind that because Stocker can keep up with him.

(24:28):
But I don't know. I think Alie can still kick
a few good goals, but got the biggest matchup that
everyone's talking about, wind take up versus Nick Deakos, So
this is going to be a huge bit of a
Nick Dakos that and he averages thirty disposals against the Saints,
but one of the two clubs to never kick a
goal against. He's never kicked a goal against the Saints,
which is a bit of a surprising one. Now, Leo,
how do you think Nick Dacos will go? I want

(24:48):
it just a break down, a stat one, or whatever
you want to provide, because wind Hager is a very
good tager. I think wind Hager is going to give
him the clamps. Oh.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
I think he'll do a good job on him. I
think we saw what wind Hager did to the last week,
who in my opinion, is the best player in the AFL.
And we've just seen what wind hag has done this
season to some players. And I think you might throw
an argument at me that Deekos's endurance could could test
with Could it could? Yeah, But we look back to

(25:16):
some of wind Hager's recent matchups, I would argue Max Holmes,
as an endurance aerobic athlete is stronger than Nick Dacos,
and wind Haager kept him to eight en disposals, So
I think wind Hagar, I think he can do it.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
I don't think it's gonna have any impact on the game,
to be honest with you, still smashing, but I just
think Deekos might be kept a little bit quiet. Look,
you got some good points. I just think I do
think of the fitness, I do. I was at the
g a few times where Deakos has gotten tagged and calling.
Actually even North there was a few mini tags at
the start of the game and the pass just look

(25:52):
for him, like there was a few times, but I
definitely didn't have to go to Nick Dakos and they're
like you're kick, You're kick. But that would impact them,
I reckon negatively. Yeah, probably, I think it will impact.
It could impact the team because they might look very
more try and like bump for him and things like that.
But I think they go to him so much. He's
got the endurance. I think he can run out of
game and just prove way he's one of the best
players in the comp because he gets a bit of it,

(26:13):
gets a little bit of hate as well Nick Dacos,
and because he's I don't think he should so I
think he could still have a big game, even though
wind Haager is one of the best. But Deacos is in, yeah,
a bit better for him. I reckon even than the bond,
So I reckon. We'll see how we go on that one.
Do you have a stat line for us on Nick
Dak We have it. We can have a little competition here.
Why not.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I think Dacas will get twenty one disposals.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Zero goals. I love Holways say twenty one disposal. He's
like bad like for his for his Dan, he's getting
around twenty five thirty zero goals. Yeah, zero goals. I
think they're going to kick so many goals that he
has to get one. He will get. He'll get a
free kick down there, he'll get a snap from the
boundary when Winick like, he's so skillful that Windeger could
be pushing him towards the bounds and he could just
snap one in. So I'm going to go twenty seven
disposals and a goal and.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
We'll see who's right. This is fun, this is very fine.
We'll track it in the rack show.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
We have a punishment. I probably wouldn't have said because
lose ass to host the show? All right, do you
want to do that? Really? All right, let's get into
the tips in margin for this one and we both
go on the pies.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Pies by about six goals.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Six goals. Oh, I'll agree. I'll agree with you on
that one. I'm going to I'm going to go around
forty points. Forty points just because not six goals, a
little bit more, a little bit more, That's what I
just think the pies king, Yeah, smack them. Hey Leo,
quick question? Do you know what the ASEX means? Uh?

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Do you mean AFLX?

Speaker 1 (27:27):
No? Mate? The AX the Australian Stock Exchange.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Oh man, I'm absolutely clueless for that stuff.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Well, lucky for you, stock head is a free website
that gives you everything you need to know about punting
stocks on the AX. Damn, that sounds pretty good. Where
do I check them out? Check it out via stockare
dot com, dot you. And it's even easy for your
little p brain to understand. Damn. Sunday at JWS Verse
Gold Coast at ENNG Stadium one ten. Here we go,

(27:55):
We've got it. Got a bit of a debate here
because we were talking in the office. Marcus who was
on the on the show. Usually I'm going to take
his role, You're going to take his role, but he
was going GWS in this one. We were going Gold Coasts.
But while we wanted to tip him now there, I
wouldn't mind you playing Devil's advocate for me because I
do think this is one of the closest matchups of
the round. Why can g WS win this game?

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I think GWS will win this Like, let's let's break
it down, break it down. Gold Coasts have lost their
last seven at Energy. They're coming off the buy and
have played two fewer games than the Giants.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Maybe match conditioning, match.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Fitness might not be there.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
There are some big names twelve games in the season,
two less thans the GWS Giants. Big names in the
mix for GWS. Green and Stringer are a test and
a leash should come in for Sam Taylor, who you'll
touch on in a second. Stats Guy, and there's a
watch on Finn Callahan. Not in the injury list, but
it did cop a little bit of an injury last week.
I just think the Giants I got their tsunami rolling

(28:50):
last week against a top four side away from home.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
You know, Callahan was brilliant.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Hogan and Cadman were firing on all cylinders, and I
just think if those two who can step up again,
which they easily could, they easily could. You got Collins
is a great defender, but you know mac Andrew, how
is he going to go on on.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Cadman or kid King Hogan? Hogan?

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Yeah, so they're just rolling and I don't I think
they could be a chance to win this.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
If I'm playing.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Devil's advocate, I can actually believe that.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Oh there you go, Well, thank you for playing Devil's advocate,
because we need to have a look at both sides,
especially when it's a really close matchup. I'm going to
tell you why the Sons are going to win. They
are the top four offense, sorry, top four offense and
defense in the competition. The Giants all the way back
down to eighth. That puts him in the premiership window. Absolutely.
Ah yeah, Statistically it does. Statistically it does. But let's
just calm down a bit. The Giants you said they

(29:40):
got the tsunami. It's been flat waters every two weeks.
You got you have one week on it's a tsun
ARMI then you've got flat waters. You've got Calm was
absolutely no tsunami scene that half the season, they haven't
even had a tsunami. So I'm not buying the hype
just from one week. I'm still on the Suns. I'm
still on the Suns. Then the biggest doubt is Sam
Taylor is out for four to six weeks. That's gonna
that's gonna cost him a few games. I think. I
know he wasn't great last week, but maybe he was

(30:02):
half injured. Are we gonna We're gonna make him feel
better about Logan Morris kicking five on him. I don't know, No, no,
because it could have had a factor. It could have
been it could have been a factor. But Logo mars
to play for Logo may But that's a huge out.
I think that's a massive out, especially yeah when you've
got Ben King, So who goes to Ben King? Who
do you think Jack Buckley?

Speaker 3 (30:22):
I think is a complain. I don't think he's big enough,
is he?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah? Yeah, he's tall, But I just should check if
he's fit.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Yeah, yeah, well.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
That'd be very handy if he If he is, No,
that's all right. But I think that the Sons are
just better place. They're a better team and they to
show a lot more consistency and Jennibouse, I think they've
lost two last three at home, including the Minico one,
so they've been a bit bit shaky as well. Tips
and margin. I know you've played Devil's Advocate, but you
leaning towards the sound. I'm leaning towards the Suns in
this one. It is off the buy is the.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Only thing that yes is a bit makes me nervous
with this tip because teams off the buy haven't performed,
probably to their best. But Giants are just a weird team.
There are a bunch of weird dudes doing weird stuff.
They are I think gold Coast. Yeah, I'm going to
go gold Coast by a couple of goals. I think
it's gonna be really close. I think goals.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
I think it could be really high scoring, similar to
Giant's game last week. If if they can keep the
tsunami going, then yes, they can get a win. But
I don't know if they can keep up with gold
Coast scoring, who has have been better at scoring all seasons.
So you're going to go gold Coast by a couple
of goals? All right? Next one on Sunday three, twenty
at Marvel Stadium is Western Bulldogs versus Richmond. Now, he
ran his return last week, so we've got to talk

(31:32):
about him. He's an absolutely Sam Darcy leon is an alien.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Two words you need for this game is Sam Darcy,
I reckon.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
That's it. Next game game.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Look, I think he's That's when we looked at this game,
that was like the first thing we thought of is
he could kick an absolute bag here.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Now Ben Miller did keep.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Jesse Hogan goalless, but we do have to give a
little bit of I guess port it's to that. That
was a great performance. I think Darcy is a completely
different because Miller is a tall duty. I think he's
around two hundred centimeters, but Darcy's ten centimeters taller.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
If it's centimeters taller than everyone. If you just kick
the ball.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
On his head and he and Miller's like scrapping and
jumping for everything, Darcy could just be like, yeah that's
a mark. Yeah so he's So it's a different it's
a different matchup for him. I still think Darcy will
be we'll be on fire in this one.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
How many goals just off the covering? Four or five too?
Because he does love to miss Yeah, maybe four to
three four three. I like that, lock it in, lock
it in.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
So the Dog's best place for an absolute monster win here,
stats guy, I think Richmond are the biggest outsiders we've
seen this season since Round one when they played the
Blues and we know what happened then, So they won.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
So Richmond's gonna win.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
They could.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
No, there's no chance at Marvel, which since the Dimmer
curse happened, they don't like playing at Marble as well,
so I don't think they're yeah well placed at all.
I gotta stat for you for me. Yeah, the Dog's
in the last eight matches average one hundred and twelve points,
so they're flying on offense, everything just clicking. And they've
got Sam Darci back so they could even up that
even more, whereas the Tigers they only average sixty four points. Yeah,

(33:07):
a lot of games they trying to make it a
scrap because they're actually pretty good at tackle pressure and
two way running, some of them if it was actually
a right at doing that, but they just haven't got
the skills to keep up. No, they don't.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
I don't think they do, and I think, yeah, that's
where the detail in this game lies. And sort of
the difference is the offensive firepower for each side, because
there is a world where Richmond are competitive and as
you said, the tackle pressure, the two way running, some
of the Green shoots standing up could kick out, but
the Dogs won't need many chances to kick a winning score.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
It's sort of how I look at it.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Richmond could lead inside fifties, fifty to forty and Dogs
that could be enough for the Dogs to still win
because of their offensive firepower. Yep, so I still think, yeah,
Dogs will get this done.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Yeah, what does the Orra margin them?

Speaker 3 (33:52):
I think around we'll go sixty nine points Richmond.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
That's all right. I will save my margin, Richmond fan,
they know that this type of game is a tough one.
I'll save my margin. I'm going to say, Dogs buy
plenty of plenty, plenty plenty. There we go. I'll save
my margin for the big call. Actually, okay, yeah, there
we go. All right, let's get into an all Australian
debate just to finish off the show before we get
into big calls and locks and all of that, because

(34:17):
we like talking about this around the office, so we
might as well talk about it on the show. So
we've got some ROUGHI some all Australians and things like that.
I'll start off with the defense. Okay, we've got nas
Wanganeen Miller a Leo. Is he in your Australian team
right now?

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Yeah, he's in my half back flank.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
I think you did mention to me off air that
his kicking hasn't been great statistically.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Yeah, it's like sixty five percent, which usually he's up
to like seventy eighty percent. Yeah, but he's still He's
shouldering a lot of the load when you think about.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
It, and I just think he is a smooth mover
and they do rely on him a lot for ball us.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
He's got to be in there.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
And we've got another Saints man. I don't know how
we put into it here, but Callum Wilkie. I don't
I think that's I mean Kenon, but Wilkie. There's too
many good fullbacks, so I'm going to say no one.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
I'm on Shan Wilke. Can I throw out a smokey
actually sure? In Wilkie's position.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Nicholas Haynes is his name, Nicholas Nick Haynes.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Everyone bagged him at the start of the season, and
people could bag me for this call.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
But he's had.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Forty one intercept marks this year, which is the equal
second most, and one hundred and fifteen marks, which is
the second most. He's been a very handy recruit for
Carbon in that third defensive third defender role.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Could he make the All Australian side.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Oh, I don't think there's any chance he's making the
All Australian side. But because Squat possibly nah, I don't
know if I can fit him in. I think he
doesn't provide. Outside of that, I think he's very good mark.
He's a Wilkie though you don't have no Wilkie's a
good kick. He's a very good kick, but I don't
know if Haines is on that level. I do like
that you've given him some ports because no one has

(35:43):
been talking about him since started season because everyone was
saying he's a horrible After that Richmond game wrote him off.
But he's been great so I don't mind it. But
I'm going to say no, let's getting to the midfield.
We've got steel side bottom. He's Benjamin Button. He still
is an old man, but he's killing it when we.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Think unfortunately, I kind of want him to make it
because it would be so cool for someone we all
thought was kind of finished to make it. I think
he won't make it. He'll make the squad, but just
misses out for mine.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
I agree. I agree on that one, ed Richards. So
we're a bit torn on this one, but you reckon
he's gonna.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Make I'm very big on ed Richards. I think Marcus
is as well. Did you know Stat's guy. Ed Richards
as a midfielder has six more goal assists than anyone
else in the competition, So he is twenty two and
the next most as sixteen.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
So he's doing his best grime Myers impressions. He's doing
his best grind My What did I just say?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
I just covered with Ed Richards is a way better
player than grime Mill.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
He sets up his teammates, He low key scores a
lot as well.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Yeah, and he wins the football.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
I think he's been the Dog's best player this season
and maybe outside of Darcy should be in this team.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
He should be in this team. That's a big I'm
going to say he's just getting nudged it. I think
I'm putting on my bias towards the big names. I
think I need it, but he's very close. Maybe in
the next couple weeks, if he has a thirty in
a goal in the next couple leaks, and then he'll
be back in. George HEWITTT, I think he could be
in there. So you're saying no to Richard's but yes
to Hewittt. I like his pressure, I like his tenacity,

(37:07):
I like it he gets I like it too, mate,
don't get me wrong. And I think I think you're
forgetting about the first six weeks of the season that
I think hewitt had a better run.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Okay, would you take an amazing first six.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
No, No, I'm just saying your recncy bias. I reckon on ed.
I don't think I am.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Richard has been consistent about the season, and I do.
I love what Hewett does.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
He's a great inside midfielder, but he does luck luck
he does lack that outside sort of burst and and kicking.
Richards can give you both. I reckon, and That's why
I'd have Richard's in there.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Look, it provide some good arguments here reconven Uh yet
maybe next week, maybe next week. Let's get into the fall.
The forward line is the hardest one to pick. I
think because there's so many good small forward specific mid sizes,
mid size. So we've got Benky's to start with. He's kicked.
I'll read out twenty five goals. Twenty five.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Look, he doesn't have the goals of some others, but
I would have him in there because he plays the
he plays the half forward role to perfection.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
Yep. And I think he's a half forward. He can
slot slot in there. Jamie Elliott has to be in there.
Thirty four goals, most goals by a small he's my
forward pocket, agreed, Ben Long, I think he's a bit stiffed.
I'm going to say no.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
I'm going to say no. He has played two less
games for twenty four goals.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
I actually could kick a back.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
He could if he as a big second half of
the season, I'd say yes, no.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
For now, and then he's a partner in crime. Ben King,
I'm going yes.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Thirty three goals too, less games on the bench for
mine though, on.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
The bench, okay, So how many tools you have because
you got Hogan.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Hogan and Cameron and with King, yeah, I want to
see how it goes the rest of the season.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
And then you've got a smoky what is going on here.
He's not in my team right now, but just to
watch on him. And I think our old mate Kine
Corns also said it and there was definitely no bias
in it. Mitch Georgiades, so thirty two goals, which is
very impressive, twenty two behind he could have.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Been leading m Coleman.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
So's his poor accuracy compared to everyone around him. But
how's this for size Leeds? Mark's inside fiewe and Mark's
on lead and the marks inside fifties by like six
or seven. Really so but case but maybe, but he's
still got to mark them.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
He's mounting a case. I'm just saying he's not in
my team, but just watch him.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
I think that that thirty two goals, though, has helped
big time by the seven last week. If he can
back it up with another few big bags, I.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Think he can.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
I don't know if I'm a big Georgiadis, Yeah, I
don't know, sold I know I know just something about him,
something about him, and then we'll finish off at the rucks.
Gord or Cherry. The two beg on we said two
DK earlier, but probably the third best. I generally think
both comfitting them. Cherry on the bench or Gone on
the bench? Sho do you think?

Speaker 2 (39:40):
I don't think both? Sorry, stats go, I'm going gone.
I just think Jerry is a premier rackman of the competition.
I just think Gorn can give you what Jerry gives
you in clearances, but does more than Jerry around the ground.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
Yeah, so that's my reasoning.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
No, you've actually got a good rip, I think.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
I think I agree around the green, but I think
the tackling pressure the clearances are better on Cherry's side,
So I'm leaning towards him. But I'm gonna have both
because I think Rucks have been amazing this year.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
What's wrong with that?

Speaker 2 (40:09):
You can have two mates subceeding on if you're going
to nothing by keeck the other one.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
This wan's been big gone. All right, let's finish it
off with the lock of the week and the big calls.
Now Marcus is here, so we need to carry these
few segments. Le lock my lock.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Harry Chesel twenty plus against Carl now just twenty eight
at the MCG and he's been in great form the
last two weeks. With a little bit more midfield time,
hopefully that is full time midfield this week.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
But it won't he's been. He's been.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
It was like four cent a bounces against Freo and
he was like nine against West Coast, So.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
It's not the most I thought it was more. That
surprised me as well.

Speaker 3 (40:44):
I thought it was more as well.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Maybe I was wrong. He's been playing like half forward
and then pushing into the midfield. Should be just gettinghim
on board. May your mate Clark, I'll ring him up,
ring him up. Yeah. Yeah, my lock so wrong and
Brayshaw combined for forty plus disposals.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
I feel the easiest lock of all year. No, no,
I'm not criticized. So I happened in the first time.
I just need to get some more locks.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
So I think that'll happen very comfortable because they are
both average over twenty six. I'm pretty sure. So get
around that one. All right. Big calls, Now, this is
where it gets a bit Larry Leo, what's your big call?
I'm going Ben King for four plus goals.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Now, people might say that's not a big that's not
a big call with no Sam Taylor, but I'll throw
in six plus marks.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
I'll give you that because these last four weeks I
don't think he's had more than three or four marks.
So you're up it with the six marks because I was.
I was egging on them for you to kick making
kick another goal.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
But yeah, we've settled on the six plus marks. I'm
happy with that. You're happy with that, all right.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
I'm going to have an even bigger call. Dogs win
against Richmond by one hundred plus points. That's a lot
of points. I had to look. It was ninety or
so last time they met. I can't remember the exact much,
but it was ninety when they last met. They absolutely
smoked them. The Dogs have sam Darcy back. They're kicking
one hundred and twelve points without Sam Darcy on average.
Imagine when it comes back, they can kick one fifty

(41:57):
plus in this one and Richmond I don't seek scoring fifty,
So that's one hundred plus right there.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
I tend to agree. But let's just imagine a world
where we go into the Sunday Show and it's been
it's like a ten point win to the Dogs. How exciting.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
It'll be better. But I really want a big course,
So I'm going to be cheering one hundred.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
Part that's fair because we need to be I'll be
cheering on a good game. Yeah, I might go to it.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
You might go to it. Maybe, I don't know. It's
that marvel my marble. It gets a bit too much
of it. Yeah, let me know. That'd be good. I'll
see you there, all right. That'll do us for AFL Today.
If we've got through the show, Leo, just us do
so well done.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Yeah, I've actually had to listen for once. It's been
really tough.
