Speaker 1 (00:00):
AFL Today is around twenty three previews here or what
do we touch on that I talk about why this
week is a must win for the pies and.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
With Nat FoST retirement, is he the greatest Docker of
all time?

he was he on the Rap Show. Yeah, you've seen
him enough. You've seen him enough.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Excited too many times. So I'm very excited to get
into this week.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
No, very nice, another awesome show as we delve into
all the matchups, tips, stats, debates, locks, and big calls.
We've had a lot of debates before this show about
the big calls of you.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
How you guys past that You're all good?
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (00:47):

interesting and everything in between. Make sure you subscribe to
our YouTube channel so subscribe, hit the notifications bell as well.
It goes really long way, which on the way to
one million subscribe. We've almost had the ten cases.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
This joke please die.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, we're almost a ten k subscribers, so make sure
you hit the subscribe one for AFL Today AU across
x TikTok, Instagram and on Facebook. It is actually Aussie
Rules Today and of course get this wherever you get
your podcast platforms. Let's get right into it, lads. Around
twenty three previews Friday Night footy. There's two games on
Friday Night. Don't know about that one, but we'll touch
on that essendence. Sat Kilda is the first one Friday night,
(01:24):
seven twenty at Marvel Stadium. The only game you should
be watching on Friday night is this absolute bangalo.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Absolutely it's a bomb burner this so I got the
TV on now.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Look, I'm actually want to start a bit off field with.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
The Saints here.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
There's been a lot of speculation surrounding them this week,
especially how they handle this upcoming off season.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
The media's has gone a bit crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
They've got him signing TDK for a one point eight
million year, Harley read for twenty five million over twelve
years legally as well, and they're going to lose what
Nas Windtega Steele, Marshall Wilkie like, can the media just
get a bit fairning aid team with all those outs
we're talking about, say Kilde so I love this from Ross.
(02:09):
He just said, no, I'm going to put my glock
on the table and I'm going to I said glock
and I'm just going to set the record straight. He
went on Footy Classified and he said he hasn't spoken
to Harley Reid and he actually got a call from
Callam Milke saying I love the Saints.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I won to be part of the Saints.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
And he also said he's excited to have the problem
when it comes to signing Nas. That's a light and
it's just business if you leave. So what do we
make of all that?
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Boys, I feel like a lot of Saint Kilder fans
would be excited if not just signed right now. Yeah, discussions.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
That's a very good call, I think in terms of
Harley Reid, because he said I didn't speak to Harley
Reid doesn't mean someone else in the club, the list
manager or someone else might have spoken Harley read.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
He's very smart.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
The report was that Ross did so he was just trying.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
To That's true.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
There was a few things that I respect Ross for
going on the show. I always don't always respect Ross
in the way you guys about his footae, but the
way he went on the show and just as you said,
put his block down there we go.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I respect that a lot.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, I mean, it's what a coach needs to do.
It needs to be firm and needs to get the
message out to his fans what's going on.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Especially needs to be firm if he's putting his glock
on the table.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Exactly on the game, on the game of football at hand.
The Saints have on the last three all be it
by a total of nineteen points, but they still won
them and the Bombers haven't won since round eleven.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Dream time, dream time, Yes, that was a dream time
for the Bombers to win. For you. That was terrible
and essenon they could make issue.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
They could be the first team to ever field their
entire list, not just this year, but over.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
The cumulative past couple of years.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yep, Zarah's out with a hand injury, Shield's missing a
week for suspension.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
I think you mentioned. Archie May is also out with
an ankle injury.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
So you've got Reese unwin and it was a kale
Gwerren Garren.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
What a doing? There could be a bomb dropped on
this place, so they still won't get a game. It's
time to just play them every AFL listed player. There
could be a time this weekend the VFL where not
a single AFL listed players. Bad as brutal.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You're just going back to did you have a VFL
affiliate team way back when?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
What's the bombs? Never mind the Windy Hill.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Generally Yeah, as you said, no AFL players on the
VFL list, which is crazy. I think this game will
be very low scoring. Bombers have the second worst offense
and the Saints have the eleventh ranked offense, so I'm
hitting the unders on this one hand. There's a matchup
that could play a.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Part in that, Marcus. There certainly is Jane Newan. He's
in the Vietnamese Team of the Century. Lee likes to
say you see that okay from an unnamed podcast which
we won't mentioned. And his matchup on Jackiggins, because he
has done very well in his first two games against
Tom Papley and Tyson Stengele only kept him to one goal,
(05:01):
not even each just combined those two Steingle goals obviously,
and Higgins he always plays well against the Bombers. The
Bombers struggle against small forwards, and Higgins says his best
goal record against the Bombers compared to any other club.
So Newan looks like he has a job in his teens.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, that'll be a good fun matchup.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
But tips and margin's Saints by seven, Saints Saints by
twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I was tempted to tip the Bombers because the Saints
they've only just got over the line against North and Richmond,
while go by the Saints by six.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
I think it'll be a close one, as Leo said.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
And pretty low scoring. All right. There's another game on
Friday night.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
This one is at barn but a Freeman Verse Brisbane
Friday night, eight twenty at OPTAs Stadium. They're going to
have a sell out again at Opta Stadium, which is
what we want to see.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Not only is it going to be a cracking game,
but there's also going to be a little bit war
about it because on that five obviously announced his retirement
is retiring, and boys, I want to I want to
run through his career highlights and his and his stats,
and I want you to say, if he's the best
ever Docker to play the game.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
You don't even need to do that. He is is.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
It's either him two hundred and forty five games, one
hundred and seventy eight goals, free mental captain obviously for
for quite a while. Two Brownlow Metal Brownlow medals to
Lee Matthew Trophies twenty fourteen fifteen, which is AFL plays
Association Player of the Season, three All Australians, three Best
(06:26):
and Fairest at the Dockers as well Jim Stein's medal
and Arising Star nominee in twenty and is good looking
and he's good looking, yes, yes, yes, well that is
now that's the worst thing. He's definitely the best Docker.
That's pretty good reading for the best ocker of all time.
A couple of these could enter that discussion come the
end of the careers Ray Sire and so Wrong. They could.
(06:49):
It depends what they win. They could win Brown potentially
in the future, but we yet to see them have
top games at the same time, like consistently. At least
it's the very least last time they both had a
top game at the same time was when they played
the Bombers in Round sixteen where they both had thirty plus.
Bad thing though, isn't not a bad thing as long
as one does the job and you get the win
(07:10):
in the end, it doesn't.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
And when we say they're not dominating, like the other
guy might still have like twenty three, like they're still
still have Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
And then but the likes of what I'm liking to
see from so wrong In particular, I love goals and
midfield boys. I like that. That's what Premiership teams are
made of. And so Wong has started to add that
in away game in the second half of the season,
moving into faunals. I think that is great viewing. It
was highlighted with his goal of the Week nomination. Check
that out on the socials where you and social girl Lessie. Yeah,
(07:38):
the new girl Lessie. Watch those now all from the
same game, which is play Freemantle, which was a little
bit weird. But in saying that, the midfield battle with
those Brisbane midfielders Dunkley, McCluggage, the Ashcroft Twins, Twins Starscroft
Brothers lying there a bit of a behoind that. But
(08:01):
Brisbane they did well against despite losing the Sydney they
almost doubled them in the clearances it was forty to
twenty one. Asually did a job in the middle there.
So it would be an interesting contrast playing against Sydney's
attacking midfield with the likes of Heeney Warner versus Prios
defensive midfield with Sarong and Brayshaw. I love this mid Yeah,
(08:22):
it is so good to watch. We'll be elite. But
the Lions they've been hit with the injury bug in defense,
five defenders out, four of which started. We're in the
starting six for the Grand Final last years. So isn't
it heading in the finals that is pretty brutal and
games that they need to win if they want to
secure that top four. And look, prios forward line is
(08:42):
firing much more than Sydney's like arguably Sydneys is that
you can say at the moment obviously from midfield though
for Sydney true and Voss and and a lot of
the goals that Sydney get from midfield. But well, Bristain
have responded after a loss, haven't they the same? And
they do it again and they're just weird. So they
lost to the D's at home. Then they beat the
(09:04):
Hawks at the G.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
They lose the Gws at home, they beat their cats
at Gomba.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yes, they lose to the son they get belted by
the Suns, and they beat the Pies at the G.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
So they lose to the Swans at home, beat fre
at ops question mark.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yeah, I got a stat to back you up as well.
They've won seventy five percent of their matches this season
as underdog. So and they've actually had a fair few
games as underdog because they've had a very roll across
the season last couple of season, and you go, oh,
they wouldn't be underdog that many times. But I'd say
like almost forty percent of their games have been underdog.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Yeah, and they've won seventy five percent of them. So
happy days. But that means why you boys are tipping them.
But I'm going against Shoan all the Dockers. Yeah, and
when you know the Dockers buy a couple of goals,
I just think at home they got the momentum and
it's a game of occasion now than that far it is.
It's a game of emotions. So I think they'll send
him out on a high.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Will they be trailing at three quarter time again and
come tactically possibly. I don't mind that, you know, Lions
by eleven. This this is just going to be a
classic Brisbane win this year.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
I reckon, Yeah, I reckon. It's gonna be an also
win for the lines.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Lines by ten points and as we mentioned on the
Sunday show, the Faria Dogs have had so many close games,
I don't think there's any chances going more than two
goal margin either way.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
This should be a good one, better than Saints Bumpers.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah, I don't know about that exactly. Saturday is the
next one.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Gold Coast versus GWS Saturday twelve thirty five at People's
First Stadium.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Finally, this is the AFL's dream lads.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Both the expansion teams are fighting in the top eight.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
They're fighting for the top four.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
The Sons can obviously make the top four, but in
this matchup, the Suns really need to lift. They've only
won one of the last fifteen matches against GWS, one
of the last fifteen. I didn't even think that was possible.
But are they locked in for the top four? That's
what I wanted to ask you, guys, or even the
top two. They've got Port and Essendon still to come.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
The game in hand is hand.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
The game in hand against Essenden, you just lock in
four points. If you're looking at the ladder we do
on the Sunday Show, what do you reckon? I do
fe into them for the top two. I think the
footy gords some results will go their way.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I've got no spoiler, but I've got Collingwood, Adelaide and
free Men all losing. I believe have losing, don't lead.
I'm sure they are. Color were losing, Geelong losing, and
Brisbane losing. There we go, We got there in the end, Okay,
we go. So I think there's a chance that they
can finish top two. Are we confident in top four though?
Speaker 4 (11:18):
I think I think they are going to get top two?
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Genuinely. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
When they went out here and they get top.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Two, lock the key, throw it away.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Well, I just love how you saying top to or
top four. That's very funny.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Little gains that after The midfield superstars, as we mentioned
in that last game head to Hedio, are absolutely awesome.
We've got Tom Green and Callahan versus Matt Row and
Noah Anderson, all average over twenty six disposals and five
clearances just rolls Royce's galore.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
We talked about sorry to cut you off.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
We talked about the midfield battle last year in Brisbane
fair being awesome.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
This is just equally all.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
I think this is better. This is better, it is better,
this is better.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I reckon, But I am worried about the Giants' depth
in this one against strong midfields. I think Leo mentioned
this on the Sunday show. But they've add losses to
Frio Dogs and Port Who when they've all been healthy.
They have really really good quality midfields and they are
all pretty bad losses. You've got Halleran. I think he's
building Zebra Holler in the midfields. I'm not too worried
about him. Then you got Connelio. Alex brought him up
on last week's show. He looks off the pace a
(12:14):
little bit. He's only had twenty plus disposals once this
season and the two last three games is at twenty
plus center bounce attendances. I don't think he should be
those numbers. He's a pretty good goal sneak as well.
I'd rather keep him forward. But do they have anyone
else in their side that can just go into that
midfield because a lot of them are small forwards, or
they've got a few.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Injuries, been in and out of the side this show.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Shakestring is obviously injured in this one, but he used
to go on the midfield, but he's been kicking goal
so you want to keep him forward as anyone else
can rotating them.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Well, So you mentioned Halleran and Connelia. Those two have
sort of been making up that third midfielder. With their
CBA numbers, I think it's been roused and who was
sub last week the next most as a midfielder with
five cbas and then you're looking at Darcy Jones and
Toby Green with three or four. So it is really
light on and I think that's an area that the
Suns can challenge. If you got Humphrey or twok Miller
(13:01):
going through the quality players, yeah, they can really exploit that.
No discredit to o'haleran and Canelio, but I just think
that Suns are a better level.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
If you're looking for that man. I think Toby Green's
the way to go.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Even the Sun's depth as well. Your Feernia stepped up
and did a job. Missing another midfield or they had
the other week as well. That's right, that's just named Davies. Davies,
That's exactly what one of us will get that. Alex
Davies just stepped up and did a job, whereas I'm
not sure if the Giants have that depth in terms
of the offense fourth verse fifth offense in this one,
which is absolutely really really good fun. I mentioned before
(13:32):
that Jake Stringer sadly out for the Giants with a
hammi three to four weeks. They said on their injury list.
He's averaged over two goals in the last ten weeks.
He's been absolutely awesome, So you take that out. I'm
a bit worried about the Giants in this one and
the other end. Banking is absolutely firing. Second in the Coleman.
Do we think he should have been in all Australia
this season? Lad, it's Banking? I think so yeah?
Speaker 2 (13:51):
What do you think? Marcus? No? I probably don't have
min Why is that no? Beause I just have a
full there's a lot of good half forwards and ford
pockets at a little more on being in there, and
I already have probably two tools. Who's your second time
ahead of him as well? I'd have obviously Jeremy Cameron
and Thriller. Oh we will touch on that later as well.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I feel like benk King second in the common game
in hand, like the only other thing about Ben King
everyone's very behind Jezza.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
So is that? Is that another argument to say got
the lock? Though?
Speaker 3 (14:23):
In the All Australian team, I think you've got a reward.
Ben King has been more consistent than the forwards below him,
and I'd honestly play a third key forward.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Okay, yeah, we can touch on that because we've got
a few more All Australian debates coming up. Tips and margin
In this one, lads, I'm going to go the Suns
by ten points. I think it's going to be a
really good game because the Sons don't have a very
good record, but they'll turn it around.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
You Sounds by six joins by Like, this doesn't make
any sense? How does Sons make to No? Trust me? Boys?
This is the Joints are the best thing the AFL
has ever seen, So I've got to support them. Okay
them up, ok, That's what I'm tipping them. And then
if I'm wrong, Gorcaus will finish in the top two anyway,
(15:05):
So I'm right. Either way, I'm doing Alia look like
a mug I'm doing a lea.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah, but you could very easily be wrong either way.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
That was Leo earlier in the season. But either way,
I'm right. Gorcas win, top two Giants win, He's a mugger.
Next game, Well, you could be wrong.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
We will be tracking this over the next couple of
weeks because if they I'm rattled by that, say, what
are you talking about? Carlton verse point Outlie, Let's get
into this one Saturday or one twenty at Marvel Stadium, Leo.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Interesting one is this Ken's audition for the Carlton coaching job?
Is he gonna with cart taking over VOSSI? You know
on and I said, could Ken just be like, I'm
going to smash it by ten goals and make me
a coach?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Now?
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Look, in all seriousness, I think this game is all
about figuring out who's in each side's best twenty two
come round one in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
We'll start with the Blues and look at a few
players in recent weeks.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
You know, Frank the tank last week was superb with
four goals. He was by far their most dangerous small forward.
But can he back it up.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Is he a long term prospect for him?
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Then you look at guys like Foggedy Motlot White at
different stages have shown us something. I think White probably
out of those three, has shown me the most. But
are they Are they a part of this small forward setup,
because if I'm being honest, it leaves me a little
bit uninspired looking at that, looking at that small forward
sort of combination he's bringing back, he's actually fallen off the.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
They've got w W one not bringing Jesse Pinkman and
these sorts of guys give him a game White. It's
a breaking breaking I didn't know they haven't watched The
Criminal the way I haven't watched it none, neither baking.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
What's the correct role for Ollie Hollins in this one?
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Because I feel like he's played wing, he's played half
back's way half forward. I think he's a wingman too,
but his bull us need to work, So do you
maybe utilize that in another area of the ground.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I'm not sure that he is one of the best
runners in the competition in terms of distance covered per game,
So you got to keep him on that wing position
somewhere where we can track the grand really well. Because
half back not really and half forward I don't defend enough. Yes, agreed.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
Then we look at Port Adelaide and there's guys like
Josh Sin and Jed mcintee. Who are they are part
of their future plans because I need to see more
from both of them, particularly Sin, who was a top ten,
top fifteen pick in his draft year, and to be honest,
he's not. He hasn't shown to be the greatest ball user,
all greatest defender as of yet. So is he a
part of their team next year?
Speaker 2 (17:35):
You got to work this stuff out in England. Should
never know. You mightst see Butters leave and what they
get for Butters they could get another Joss Sin everywhere.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
I do want to give a big sort of port
it to Olie Wines in the last I reckon month
or so. He's been in great recent form, still showing
value to the side, and I think that's important for
them next season.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Go ahead, just yeah the leg.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
He's a defensive cog to let the other guys go
out and be their attacking selves.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
He's been putting up some good numbers.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
So with all those things considered, which team would you
want to coach starting next season?
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Boys? Which team would I want to coach? Probably put Adelaide.
I was gonna say, why the hell did you have?
Speaker 1 (18:18):
I don't even think it's the finals next year?
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Would ever coach that? I think it depends what sort
of happens in the trade period as well, because Carlin
and obviously they're roomed to have a few quite a
few hour goings.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Similar for Port Adelaide and ingoings as well.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
I think carlt remember a lot of the last holes.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Yeah, just say they like td K stays around, Cerno
stays around. They've both been in very average form. I'm
leaning towards Port because they've shown more. Especially the game
last week showed me a lot. You've got enough forwards,
enough backs, and enough means even if Butter's Ghost still
have a decent year.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
But the big question for me is who was the
rough ahead, Ollie Wins or ken Inkley.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
Probably the hair's a big fact.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
This man right here, Georgia.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
I'm big on Georgiaardi's in this game.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Nineteen goals from six games against the Blues, which is
the most of any side he's played against. Interesting and
the Blues the last three weeks have gone six goals
to Ben King nine goals to Vos, Tracy and Amos
twenty seven between Yes seven goals to Gunston, Lewis and Deer.
Use your brain. It's combined. I'll touch it more on
(19:25):
it in my big call. But I think Georgiaardi's has
a big say in a Port Adelaide win, and I
reckon they win by under a goal.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Under a goal win, but under a goal you can
have a big win by under a goal.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Truth are the favorites in this one, So I'm going
to go the favorites home will do the job ten points.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
I'm going to bring up Port's record at Marvel later
in my big call and that is why I'm to
be pought by thirty five points.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
I think I think it should be.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
The favorites in this one. If you watch both teams
last week, Port played so well, should have been freer.
So I'm going to go by thirty five and I'll
touch on more of that in my big of Hawthorne
Melbourne is Saturday over here four fifteen at the MCG.
We've talked about the Hawks four tools Marcus and yeah,
have you liked it well?
Speaker 2 (20:10):
I have? It seemed to be working because they demolished
calling with last week. But let's ask the resident Hawthorne
fani Leo. It's not his Hawks gun. Obviously, you play
with the four Tours, you have to be invested in
it now if you're going to lead up in the
finals with it. Have you liked what you've.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Seen I did in the calling of game, I'm still
not sold on it. Like in I think Sam's testing
it out fair enough. He's thinking to his guns, and
I think if they're all in his best twenty three,
he wants to play them.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
I just don't know if it's gonna work.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
It's because they're all really they're good players, all four
of them, so.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
It's like, do we drop him? Hang on on the record,
stats guy just called charl A good players. I've said
it before. If you're okay, I think great pressures they've been.
They've been subbing out one of the tools every game
since they've brought the four Tours in. If you get
injuries to any other player, you're going to have to
keep those four tools on the ground at the end
of the game. And if conditions don't suit, perhaps it's
(20:59):
just a condition. But the Tour matchup, I'm really looking
out for it. Isn't in that Hawk's tall forward line.
It's actually the rock battle between Lloyd Meek, Max Cord.
Sorry sorry Lord Meeting? Can Gorn get Meet? We don't know?
These are the two best rugby last week? No chance.
Meek was obviously the best. So you reckon Gorne will
(21:20):
come out and talk how big of an influence will
that play in the game or will Meet keep it respectable?
Speaker 3 (21:24):
If Gorne can hit the scoreboard, I think it could
have a big influence on the game.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Because Meek obviously got three goals, then where did that
come from. Honestly, Gorney does hit the score a little
bit more, so yeah, I think he could go.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
But one of these things that is comparable between the
two sides is the defense because in Melbourne, obviously it's
very inexperienced. There's no May, there's no Lever and Tom
McDonald and Trent Rivers are the only players in that defense. Well,
they're starting I.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Think May's back.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
May might be back. Yes, Well, from the starting six
from last week, they only McDonald and Rivers were played
over one hundred games and the average age was twenty
four years of age, McDonald being thirty two, he was
skewing that age a bit. So there are some inexperienced
players in there versus Hawthorne who are very settled. They
(22:12):
average one hundred and sixty one games across that back seat.
That's great, which is more than five of those six
players that these pulled out in their starting defense.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Last I love makes me feel a bit comfortable knowing
that you've got a bit of experience.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
I think in experience in the backline more than anywhere else.
Would we go.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
On there out of every area? Yep? But Clary he
was the one who tagged nukeamb in that last game.
Obviously the Hawks are not winning that boy about five goals,
but up until that last quarter it was actually anyone's game,
and Clariy did a good job with Nucom finished with
nineteen disposals, but Clary finished with thirteen himself. So, so
did you get the best out of that? Obviously not
(22:52):
having Clary's impact in the middle, but also limiting Newcomb's.
Do we see that again? And Leo, is that something
that can shape shake up the horn Hawk's sort of
structure if you can, well, I'm not going to say
get tagged out of the game, but if he does
get tagged and has a limited impact.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
I think Melbourne would be crazy not to do this again.
You saw what you can do to sides when he
played against Collingwood last week. He was one of the
main guys in the midfield with no will day you
stop him, you can pretty much stop any influence how
midfield has And as you said, it worked for three
quarters last time we played. And if you think back
to that game, Melbourne should have been well in front
(23:29):
at three quarter time. They missed very gatible chances and
Hawthorne were able to turn it on for one quarter.
Like you can't really get get away with keep on
doing that every week, you know what I mean. So
I think they're crazy not to do this again. It
would one hundred percent stifle Hawthorne's midfield. But you've noticed
something Liam on the Melbourne front that has sort of
(23:49):
been an area of concern for you. It's picture brain
a little bit, yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
I don't know if I'm going crazy here, but because
I don't know if he's a little bit unfit. He's
obviously he's got a six pace's got good muscles, but
I just don't know why you look in the last
couple I'll say it. Last month, the clutch moments of
the game, he's either deep forward, he's on the bench,
like that game against Saint Kilda, and they weren't getting
him back on the ground Dogs against the Dogs last
week it was six point game in the clutch. I
want Cozy in the midfield. You're paying him one point
(24:13):
seven million dollars a year. Get yourself in the midfield,
but maybe he's not fit enough. I don't know if
I'm the only one that's recognized this something you sort
of did as well there, but it just doesn't seem
to run out games and you look in the clutch
moments of the game and they're not putting him as
much in the midfield, whereas that's exactly where they need
him because but Traka hasn't been as consistent, Clary hasn't
been as consistent. Couzy is their most consistent player, So
(24:34):
chuck him in there. But I don't know a bit
worried about him because I don't.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Want one point seven million dollar players on the ground
and on the bench in those clups sort of moments.
So I'm going to track that for the next couple
of weeks and see if that's actually a thing. Definitely
one to watch because I'm a bit worried about him.
But Melbourne, there are some positive songs. So I played
well last couple weeks and have the potential to shake
things up because they do play finals opponents to end
the season. In saying that, do you boys think that
they're going to cause an upset here against the Hooks?
(24:59):
I don't. I think Hawks by four goals.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
I think if Melbourne had any chance, it's on that
man Cozy and the midfield to have an absolute blinder.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Oh yeah, I think they lifted last week. I don't
know if they can do it two weeks in a row.
I Reicon Hawks by thirty points. I think if they
can smash the Pies by that much, they can have
a pretty handy win against the.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Dec Leo Hawks three goals, three goals, A bit closer.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
There we go like it? Hey Leo, quick question? Do
you know what the ASEX means?
Speaker 3 (25:23):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (25:23):
Do you mean AFLX?
Speaker 3 (25:24):
No?
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Mate?
Speaker 4 (25:25):
The ASEX the Australian Stock Exchange. Oh man, I'm absolutely
clueless for that stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Well, lucky for you.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Stockad is a free website that gives you everything you
need to know about punting stocks on the ax.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
Damn, that sounds pretty good. Where do I check them out?
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Check it out via stockare dot com, dot you and
it's even easy for your little p brain to understand.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Damn.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Adelaide versus Collingwood is the next one here, the game
of the round.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I'm calling it.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Saturday night, seven thirty five at the Adelaide Oval. It's
always a thriller in this matchup. We've got thriller on
the field. We've got a thriller matchup. The last five
meetings between these sides have been decided by ten points.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Or less, no matter where they are on the ladder.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Just somehow, this is a really close game, but the
Pies always win those last five meetings, and the last
ten meetings the Pies have actually won the matchup, which
is frustrating for Adelaide fans. So they really really want
to win here. But that's Are we genuinely worried about
the Pies? They've lost four of the last five games,
got absolutely smashed by the Hawks on the weekend.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Are they still a threaten in the finals as well?
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (26:22):
That a worried Yeah, We're definitely worried. Let's put that out.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
In the Okay, yes, but are they threatened finals? I
think depends depends how they depends how they lose this game.
They could form themselves in a in an alien the
way it's going so.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Yeah, they could, they could, But I still think they
could be a threat like they still can be. Obviously,
I think they can go deep. Still, They've got the
experience they need to win this though. Some must win.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
So they need to win. They need we're going to
they need to lose. We didn't mention. Did they peak
too early? And now they'rehidden here? They have enough, They
have enough time to get that back on track. They do.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
I think it starts with a win here. They have
to Yeah, all right, I guess they have to. But
I don't think there's any chance they can. But we'll
touch on that. The Piers. They're averaging just sixty three
points in their last four losses, which is a way.
They now face the number one defense in the league,
headlined by Joshi Warrel. He's still on the Australian Bagan
the back pocket Mape. Yeah, very nice, No, Jeremy, how
obviously this week went out with concussion. Lads, are we
(27:20):
confident in damn Mixday to hold down the four because
he did go down in defense last week, or were
going with Charlie Dean who struggled a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
What do we think Charlie Dean headlights?
Speaker 3 (27:30):
What was that mix back in Mixed Day down?
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Yeah, that's a worry like what I see from Charlie.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
No, but I feel like he missed something in that
full line with Mixed Day out of that one goal. Yeah,
it's just he's another aerial presence obviously got memory, who's
a little bit higher up the ground, You're more check
in there. I just think it's another avenue like a
genuine goal threat. He might not he might not kick
a bag, but he is a genuine goal threat and
he's good in the air as well. So cool, poor
(27:59):
Odd Odd probably bringing Charlie Dean. Oh, that's a big
cool about this one, Darcy.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
More forward. Drafts are forward, yeah, but they need they
don't have enough defense. Really, he has been a form
as well. It does he move forwards.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
He didn't do that once on Ant Day, right.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
But I think it's a very rogue thing to pull
when you need a game winning I agree like the
other game match, but that was for.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
One moment of the game, like yeah, business, it's just
something something to.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Think about it.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Let us know in the comments are what you think
about Collingwood's lineup on Adelaide.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
You've got to talk about thriller.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
As I mentioned before, Riley phil Thorpe is in unreal form,
three plus goals in five of his last seven games.
He's got the most goal assists of anyone in the
top twenty five in the common Medal leaderboard, so he's
just dishing him off as well. Him and Text are
right up there for goal assists, which is very good
for Adelaide. He's a heavy, heavy favorite in terms of
the odds to make the Old Australian team, but we've
(28:55):
had a bit of an arguments over it. Does he
deserve an Australian jacket. I've already said he does, and
I think it's not a big reason of that. Not
only is he kicking bags and goals, but like you mentioned,
he's also getting those goalsists, which is probably why I
do have him ahead of Ben King.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Kick ten less goals than Banking.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, but the goals as well. You're going to like
everything around the ground.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
I think Banking probably think I do you think, I just.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Think Thriller is such a big game player. He's I
just have him in there. Is it just the beard
that is convincing because he's scary?
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Maybe I think Thriller is definitely in the conversation for
the third tool, I think it's jes A Banking and then.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Not a Thriller, whereas yeah, but no one's got a
few more goals and exactly five more goals or so
goals and goals, So it'll be interesting to see what
they go off in the comments.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Us the comments just saying it's sorry to butt in,
but Thriller does have foggery and text as well as
the other key forwards has taken taking goals, none as
Darcy who has been injured for half a year and
Ben King. He's genuinely like the tall, tall forward in
the forward line. So I think, you know, more avenues
for goals for them.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Round one to Marcus, I reckon. I genuinely believe that
that was a blip game for the Crows last week.
They looked disinterested a little bit. The Crows fans in
our comments were like, what the hell are we doing?
They weren't even putting the tackling pressure that we've seen
all season, but rank And he was awesome, especially in
the second half. He ended up having his most center
bounce attendances for the season in this game with eighteen.
(30:21):
I think if he's around that mark again, I would
like to see fifteen to twenty every week for ranking
in that in the middle.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
And would you guys like to say that he barely
attended a center bounds in the first time as well,
so they predominantly all came in the second half, So yeah,
get him in there X factor in the midfield.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
In terms of what you just said, then, I think
they underestimated the Eagles a bit of like, oh, I
don't need ranking in the midfield. As soon as they
put him in there, that's when they started getting going.
And I think his speed will be too much for
the Pies. Now, you mentioned this on the Sunday Show
that outside of the Dacai or the Decoss boys, the
speed in there isn't isn't as prolific.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
So do we think rank And can exploit that. I
think he can.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
I'll be very I'll be keeping a close eye on
how Colin would match up in the midfield here and
whether or not. They looked to inject some speed into it.
I don't know if mccrue or Hill are back.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
I don't think so. I think they'll know. I think
they are. They will be fit to play in training
and a will to be massive ins massives that you
did mention that as well.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
All right, tips of margin in this cracker of a game,
Leo Crows by three.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
Oh, got to stick with the under six goal or
under five goal five point ten point end point rule.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Yes, now that one of the last five bettings Marcus.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
I'm not a bit more extreme here. I'm a little
bit worried about the Pies and I think Adelaide can
do something that Adelaide oval Crows twenty seven. I agree
with you.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
I reckon this could be twenty plus. Is my sort
of around the mark there, because they're a much better form.
The Pies are struggling. So yeah, twenty at point win
for the Crows and this one Sunday fun day. We've
got three more games to finish off here. North Melbourne
versus Richmond Sunday at one ten at Ninja Stadium in Hobart.
This is a massive game for my rus Leo, isn't it?
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (31:52):
And I'm I was just charging up then, because this
this game. I'm calling North Melbourne out here on this game.
They do not just need to win, they need to
win comfortably. I'm saying at least five goals loss. Anything
less than five goals, I am personally ringing the AFL
and saying take away the four points because they do
(32:13):
not deserve it. It is time for North Melbourne to
take things seriously and be taken seriously and actually smash
a team around them. They are staring down the sixth
straight year of a bottom two finish. I don't want
to hear, Oh, we just need to win. It'll be
good for the culture.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
No, it's not. You need to bloody win this game, Richmond.
They've exceeded expectations. They don't care anymore. This is a
free swing for them. Gained, he's got somehow, he's done
it there. He doesn't know where he is still.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
But you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Sometimes with your norse rants, I don't always agree, but
I agree on this one.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
I don't think there's any chance that we're good enough
to smash any team, let alone West Coast or Richmond.
But you're right in terms of the projection in the
last six years.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
They have to show it.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
I just don't think it's going to happen. This has
to be domination.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Always take a shot for every time. Else the clarks
And talks about inexperience in his press and Polish and
he mentioned are we going to do it? We'll do
it before this say.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
We would actually be dead. We should be doing a
solo show. Definitely, look and in saying that, I'm very
keen on Richmond in this one, inspy some injuries to
their depth. I just think that the Tiger's back line
can really restrict the North forwards with no Laki there,
because you look at who's going to kick North's goals?
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Is it three goals against the Giants? He comes against Richmond, He.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Goes, yeah, true, true to mind it, But I just
think as a system, I like the Tiger's back line
over the North forward line.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Where do you boys sit in this one? Because I
think you're both going against me?
Speaker 2 (33:42):
I think I am, But that's more because the home
advantage being in Hobar. I think North Melbourney they have
to win this. They have to know, they have to
win by five goals.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
They have to.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, the Tigers very rarely play down there. So I
agree they have to win my big margin, but my
rules are just they just uncapable of that, especial with
Lucky out. When Lucky came back, it was so much better,
Our team was so much better. Take him out.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
I'm very worried.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
I'm going to go ruise by. I'm going to say
one point because that's just that's just what we do.
And I'm going to be sweating all game and I've
just got no confidence. So I think we'll win, but
it's just going to be by a single point. I
fancy North Melbourne to kick at least eighty points. I'm
not sure for I fancy Richmond to do this.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Really the.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
Yeah, like.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
I feel like North Melbourne can outscore Richmond in front
of just a little.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Bit Richmond's Richmond's defense can hold them a little bit.
And you know what if if if North don't win
by more than five goals, I might actually call the
ground announcer. But like, do not play the song in
that in that scenario, because they're not.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
They're they're not going back in the rooms and singing
the song and they're just sitting down with the.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Gatora exactly get the get the people on the ground.
They can take photos with them, but why would you?
Speaker 1 (34:57):
All right, so what did you do think? Nor They're
gonna win, but by less than I was. I think
the Tigers are gonna win.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Tigers by fifteen points. I'm keen on Richmond on the
Tiger train. All right, rus by four goals, four goals?
There we go. Yeah, like I said, I'm by one
single point.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Let's get to the next one before I cry about
North Melbourne Sydney verse Geelong Sunday three fifteen at the SCG.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
This one, mircus, just one of the games of the
rounber Is, isn't it. Yeah, so sort of the head
head yeah, sort of, but the head to head on
top three it's probably fourth, yeah, probably before the head
to head. Olds don't suggest it, but I think this
would be a serious danger game for the Cats, as
do I. I also concur because the sayings they haven't
lost to Geelong and the SEG since twenty nineteen. Really,
(35:43):
But Geelong did get a win at the SCG in
twenty twenty, but that was obviously during COVID. We don't
talk about that anymore. That COVID season. They didn't win
the flag these men talk about it. They did. They
did beat the Lions there Geelong during covid as and
they mentioned but the swamp. They've won the first quarter
in all of their last six games. So you can
(36:05):
actually find very good for that this weekend. But how
important is it for Geelong to, you know, sort of
quiet down the SCG crowd and get on top early
so Sydney don't create that momentum. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
I've been to the SEG that's not that loud. But
I do think they can quiet them down. Just they've
got a better team. They're playing better. I know this
one's got a really good win. But I do think
the Cats can do that. And from the start they
use their pace as well, and then they'll do that
for four quarters.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
And well, what was that.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
You say?
Speaker 2 (36:35):
When we go with the Sydney We can't go a
game of Sydney without talking about the tagging, the matchups.
Who's going to go to who? So we created the
segment tag your each now James Jordan obvious tag of Sydney.
When does he go Olms or Baz? Who would you
rather tag Holmes?
Speaker 1 (36:53):
I would say Holmes, he has more influence on the
game and especially for four quarters because also James Jordan
is really fitty, can.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Keep up with him, think slightly better ball user home
and that too. And we've also got we've got to
keep an eye on the ton watch with j He's
on seventy nine, he's got two games plus finals. So
will Melley can claimp down Jezz Malick Clamp, Melon Clamp,
Melie Clamp. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
I think Jess could still get off the chain of
and he kicked four goals five last week and we're disappointed,
So I reckon he could at least get another three or.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Four year Braden Campbell. He does a job of sort
of a defensive forward in that side for Sydney. Does
he go to anyone in that Geelong defense? It's unlikely
you go to a Humphreys. Could he go to a Guthrie?
Speaker 1 (37:34):
I think Humphreys is under rated and Guthy are both
like a bit underrated and dangerous. But I don't think
you need to tag him like they're not that superstar
level you need.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Unless maybe you put him on the Homes.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
Maybe you put jj On on a Smith double double tag,
possibly double tag and another tag to finish Offen, he's
been one of the best taggers.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
You guys are bad with your Irish name. Yeah, there
we gonim. Yeah, that's a hard one.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Well who's he go to? Is it either Errol Gordon
was Keene I doubt to go to Chad Warner, But
out of Penie and Gordon, who would you rather put
the tag to? Obviously he's coming off he's another twenty
plus five goal game. Yeah, he's just an unreal disposal
collecting his ball magnet and he's got a good kick
on him as well.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
I'd actually put him on Goulden because I think I
think Heeney can beat Mullin overhead. I think he's he's
overhead marking his second to none. I think Mullen he's
been a fantastic tagger, but that's nice and just another
area he has to deal with, whereas Goulden he's more, yeah,
run and carry type. Mullin's really really disciplined sticking with
(38:45):
those type of players.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
But it'll be really interesting to see how that plays out.
Could you see Tom Akins possibly go to the other Yeah,
I don't mind that call aggressive sort of tackling sort
of role.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
I don't mind Akins actually on Chad Warner because if
if you put a real strong tackle on someone who
has that speed to get away, that could really stifle
Sydney's midfield.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
There's fun matchrops all over the ground here and I
just think it's a fun matchup in general. And I
think it's going to be a really really close game,
or I think that's going to be within the ten points.
I'm going to go in favor of Sydney here really,
for this really is a bit I don't know, they're
a bit weird. Yeah, you go Geelong. I'm going the Cats.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
I actually didn't put in the run, but I genuinely
think the Cats will win this one. I think they've
got a lot more depth, a lot more scoring power.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
I don't see. Yeah Sydney.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
Just say Gelong gets to one hundred and ten points,
No way Sydney going to get to that. So I
think the Cats will win this one. The variety of
tips this show has been first class.
Speaker 4 (39:39):
It has been great.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Give yourself as a partner. Yeah, that's this last game
where there's no variety.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
If you want more Sydney Swans content, be sure to
check out the True Bloods podcast that is also filmed
in this studio, the number one home for all Swans content,
So check that out wherever you get your podcasts. All right,
last game other round or Western Bulldogs versus West Coast
the West off Sunday at four forty at marvels justin
west Of?
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Is that what you were thinking?
Speaker 1 (40:02):
The Dogs are? The Dogs get absolutely feast here, lads.
Even though the Eagles had a great effort last week
nine point loss to the Crows. The Dogs have won
their twelve of their last fourteen at Marvel Stadium and
when they win, they win big. Their average winning margin
this year is better than any other team. Fifty four
points is their average winning margin this year, which is
pretty incredible. Lads. Are the Dogs are locked for the
(40:23):
finals with the second and best percentage in the comper?
Are they lock a lock?
Speaker 2 (40:27):
They're in ninth? What's going lock? What's going on over
having to sleep in this game?
Speaker 3 (40:31):
This is.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Very disrespectful that.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
No, they're not a lock for the finals at all.
I think they've got to be freeman last round?
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (40:41):
Or do they lose this game because they have lost
a very similar game before.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Weirdly, they did lose to the Eagles in twenty twenty
three at Marvel Stadium, so a bit of an omen
as well. It was in round twenty three, same round
and it helped them get knocked out of the finals.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
This up before the show, it's going to happen again.
The Hawks are going to be locked in. Oh god,
he's just saying that.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
That. Yeah, I don't know what Tim Kelly and that
one dominated Crips at Jamie Crips AD's kick five goals,
but both players are a bit past it now.
Speaker 4 (41:11):
So I thought that's all I'm going to say. Surely
you agree on that one.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
And then in terms of the tips in this one,
West Coast average losing margin, I just want to touch
on their home so that home they obviously had a
really good game against they played well against Gelong, they
had game against.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Crumb last week.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
But their average losing margin a home has been thirty
three points. And then you jump to the away side
away from Uptis Stadium fifty five points away from Optus,
which is a little bit of a worry. Do we
think it's going to be a huge margin in this one?
Speaker 4 (41:37):
Yeah, ninety nine point nine one hundred, Okay.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Under the dome, this could be very, very dangerous. So
I think that Dog's midfield was just going to absolutely
bully the Eagles midfield. So how many points? One hundred
and one? You know, I'm going to go eighty five.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
I think in the last quarter it would be like
eighty points and then the Dogs will be like Bond
Libber Richard's Darcy bench, Darcy ruck.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
Yeah, no, aade.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
So that's gonna be a huge win for the Dogs.
And that's all around twenty three games covered. Let's get
into the lock of the week and the big calls. Leo,
what is your lock of the week?
Speaker 3 (42:16):
Sn N versus Saint Kilda under one hundred and eighty
five total points?
Speaker 4 (42:20):
Just two size that just can't attack, they can't score.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Not going for the team that plays essen in this
week just to get the win.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
No, I feel like you say, I feel like you
back me up in recent weeks, So that that was
a good good locks against.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
I'm not really going against you here because you've gone
under total points, but I'm going for a goal scorer
in that game. Actually, I'm on Cooper Shamans. I've been
quietly impressed by his season. I think he's been saying,
want to say, killed his best two plus and four
of his last five, and he kicks a goal in
sixteen or his nineteen matches this season. So continues that
form and kicks a goal. I really like that one.
I'm going a goalkicker as well.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
I mentioned him before thrill out two plus against the
Pies for Phil Thorpe the Pie. As we mentioned, their
defenses all over the shop. You bringing in Charlie Dean,
you don't want to do that, and then maybe sending
Dusty more forward. According to Leo, so three or two plus,
I think that's an absolute lock in this one. Let's
get into the big calls. A big call, Marcus, you're
touching on the Dogs.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
You touched on him before. Oh, I said they're going
to have a big win, and I think they're going
to kick a big score off the back of that
one hundred and sixty plus points. They going to kick
first time since round eleven, twenty twenty two, they've done that,
which was against the Weagles.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
So let us know where the comments if that's a
big call.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
So Leo total points for the game is one seventy nine.
That stat backs him up. If they haven't done it
since twenty twenty two, that's a big call.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
Then Matt Lione has West Coast kicking twenty points.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Yes, yeah, that could happen. But Richmond only kick twenty three.
Oh yeah, that goes into my argument and they'll see
what happens here.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
I reckon that is a big call. I'll give him
that one. Leo, what's your big call? Jogy? Yaddy kicks
five goal? Hold on a second here, you're telling me
a tool Ford kick five goals is a big call.
Paying nine bucks every week compared to your like six
bucks anyway. Ah, yeah, that's paying nine bucks, Thank you
very much.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Leave that.
Speaker 3 (44:08):
Yeah, nineteen goals in six games against Carlton, Carlton being
conceding a lot to key forwards of late. I think
Georgiades has a massive game under the dome like that.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
My big call port Adelaide to win by thirty plus
verse Carlton. The last meeting was fifty points. They've got
a lot of outs since then, and they're eleven and
two at Marvel since twenty twenty. They love Marvel. I
think they should be favorites in this one. Carlton a
dog crap, So what are we talking to? Port are
going to win by thirty plus points and they're going
to roll into see next season pretty nicely.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
Like I mentioned before, I think it also let us
know in the comments if that's a big call.
Speaker 4 (44:42):
Oh, well you din question it before.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
Yeah, I was saying for this, I was gonna up it,
but I don't want to do a Marcus who was
the least big call? Let us know in the comments.
There we go.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Maybe we won't count it if it's the least Oh,
it's good monding you too.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
It's going to be me.
Speaker 4 (44:55):
