A Polícia Federal abriu na manhã desta sexta-feira a fase de número 18 da Operação Lesa Pátria para cumprir um mandado de busca e apreensão contra o general da reserva Ridauto Lúcio Fernandes, investigado por suposto envolvimento com os atos golpistas de 8 de janeiro. Agentes vasculham um endereço do militar em Brasília. A ordem foi expedida pelo ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal, que ainda determinou o bloqueio de ativos e valores do investigado.
O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva passa nesta sexta-feira por uma cirurgia no quadril para corrigir uma artrose. Ele sofre com fortes dores no local há meses e fez dois procedimentos em julho para diminuir as dores, antes da cirurgia, uma infiltração e uma deneverção. A internação ocorre no Hospital Sírio-Libanês, em Brasília, e o Palácio do Planalto não quis informar o horário exato da operação, que dura de duas a três horas. A primeira-dama, Rosângela da Silva, a Janja, o acompanha na UTI, onde deve passar ao menos um dia.
