with what I would call portion number one. Again. I've

Here we go. Suplxation. It's a misalignment of the spine

(05:39):
that disregulates your nervous system. Remember, your nervous system is
the master computer that coordinates every function in your body,
including blood sugar controls. It sends messages from your brain
down the spinal cord over the nerve roots, and that
tells your body when, where, and how to release insulin.
It tells your liver how to lease or store sugar.

It tells your adrenal glands how to respond to stress.
These messages are sent through what's called your autonomic nervous
system that keeps you alive without you even thinking about it. So,
when your spine is in perfect alignment, these signals flow clearly,
like the sound waves of you listening to me through
the air, or your podcasts, or however you're connecting with us.

But if a vertebrate in your spine shifts out of alignment,
that is called a subluxation. It irritates or compresses the
nerve roots, and this distortion changes how your organs function.
I've done this several times before. But if I grab
the microphone and I turn the gain down, which I
won't do, but you get the idea. If I turn
the gain down the volume drops, you would say, oh

my gosh, I don't hear you yet, I'm still speaking.
A subluxation is similar to that. It irritates the ability
for your brain to talk properly to your organ and
specifically with diabetes. It's pancreas and liver in the middle
of your back thoracic spine number five eight, sorry, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

all the way through twelve, five through twelve. These are
the nerves that control your liver and you're pancreas and
your digestive organs. It's the very center of your spine,
and it makes your body control your sugars and your insulin.
If the nerve flow is restricted, you end up with
mixed messages. You're pancreas can undersecrete or oversecrete, your liver

can actually under secrete or oversecrete sugar. You can get
stuck into what's called a fight or flight reaction from
your brain. And these neurological imbalances they drive sugar up
and they make it so that even if you were
dietine or exercising, it won't make the effect. Listen to this.

Last year, twenty twenty four, a systemic review in the
Journal of Clinical Medicine confirmed spinal subflxations change the tone
i e. Increasing parasympathetic activity, which would I'm sorry, increasing
sympathetic activity, which raises blood sugar. The same journal showed
that a chiropractic adjustment stimulates the parasympathetic system, which lowers

Care showed the autonomic nervous system alone is a predictor
of insulin resistance. These studies show what chiropractics have been
talking about for years. When you restore proper nervous system function,
you restore normal metabolic control. And here's the physiology behind this.

When you fix a sublixation and you rebalance neural tone,
specifically in the vagus nerve, your body regains control. The
nervous system now says, to your pancreas, secrete only this
amount of insulin. Your digestive enzymes come out only at
the amount you need. Your adrenal glands calm down, the

stress hormones start to stabilize. So if you're dealing with
a rat blood sugars or energy crashes or unexplained insulin resistance,
the first step of fixing your diabetes is not a

If your nervous system is like the software, then I
want you to think of your gut as like firewall.
It's designed to keep you from all the harmful invaders
and only allow nutrients in the linings of your intestines. Though, however,
is only the thickness of one cell sealed by proteins
that are called tight junctions. When these proteins become damaged,

usually because of antibiotic ues or process foods, or pesticides
or even medications. Yes, I'm saying this. The very medication
you're taking to try to control your sugars is causing
your gut to leak, which is causing your sugars to
be out of balance. Notice the catch twenty two there.
The condition is called leaky gut syndrome when your gut leaks.

Here's what the research says. Tiny microscopic fragments of bacteria
called lipopolysaccharides slip into your bloodstream. In your bloodstream, your
immune system will see those as toxic invaders, and it
invites this massive inflammatory response. I'm gonna say these, but
I don't expect you to remember them or know them.
Tumor necrosis factor alpha in insulin like factor six IL

six CRP, the actual reactive proteins within your blood. These
inflammatory reactants interfere directly with the receptor for insulin. Think
of it like throwing glue on a lock. Insulin can't
get in, so the cells don't open up and glucose
does not go in for energy. In two thousand and seven,

a journal in Diabetology published a groundbreaking study showing that
metabolic indotoxemia I know, big word indotoxemia, toxins from within
yourself elevations and lipopolysacharides in the blood was enough to
consistently cause insulin resistance and diabetes. Human studies confirmed this.

High levels of lipopolysaccharide high levels of insulin resistance. This
means your gut lining is predicting your risk of having diabetes.
Another key player zonulin, a protein that regulates the tightness
of the junctions in your gut. In the journal Frontiers
of Endochronology, they've found that zguline is elevated in patients

with both type one and type two diabetes, proving that
the gut barrier dysfunction is present with the condition. When
zogiuline goes up those type junctions that hold the cells together,
they fall apart. The bloodstream becomes polluted again with bacterial toxins, lipopolysaccharides,
and undigested food particles, and your immune system will see

this and spike an autoimmune response. I'm going to be
blunt with patients I see in our clinics with the

Heavy metals and their cellular poisoning effect. I'm going to

talk about the invisible to me that no one discusses
when we discuss diabetes, specifically type two diabetes. How heavy
metals hijack your metabolism. Arsenic, cabnium, mercury, lead, and aluminum.
These are the big players that are in our environment.
You'll find them in your deodorants, in your water, in
the fillings in your mouth, even in your personal care products.

(15:22):
They are not inert. A lot of people will say, oh,
they're not going to harm you. These metals bind to proteins,
they bind to enzymes, and most specifically, here's the kicker.
They are known to bind to hormone receptors. So I
want you to think of it as your insulin receptor
is like a lock and key mechanism. It's the lock.

(15:43):
Insulin is the key, The receptor is the lock. If
heavy metals get bound inside that lock, the key doesn't
fit in and you can't open the door for sugars
to be burned for energy. In twenty twelve, a landmark
study Environmental Health Perspectives this is the the name of
the journal, found that individuals with high levels of arsenic

(16:03):
listen to this had three to four times higher likelihood
of being diagnosed with diabetes. Arsenic physically accumulates in your
pancreas and your liver and disrupts insulin signaling. You might
say to yourself, well, where on Earth am I going
to get arsenic from? It's found a lot in rice products,
so a lot of the gluten free and the protein powders. Similarly, cabnium,

which is an exposure from cigarette smoking and secondhand smoke,
has been shown to shut off the insulin receptors within
the pancreatic cells. So this is a method of interfering
with insulin secretion. Here's what this means. Your pancreas can
literally be poisoned to be under or overperforming. These metals

can float around your body and bind to the receptor
and physically block the ability for insulin to work. And
if that happens, sugar goes aone C goes up and
you get labeled as a diabetic. But in fact, what
you should be labeled as is a toxic heavy metal individual.
Imagine trying to play the piano with two of the
keys glued down. This is what happens when your insulin production. Hey,

thanks for texting in. You guys are doing great. This
is what happens when your insulin production is bound off.
Mercury and lead attack from various different angles. They themselves,
mercury and lead bind to the sulfur groups on the
insulin receptor, again changing the shape of the receptor. Like

I hope you understand this. Insulin must bind to the
receptor for sugar to go into the cell and be
burned for energy. If mercury and letter present that receptor
is contorted, insulin doesn't fit. It can't dock, so the
glucose stays in your bloodstream. Even if you diet and
exercise and work out and do all of the right stuff,

heavy metals will interfere with the ability for insulin to
physically work. This is the true definition of insulin resistance.
There are even studies done in Korea showing that people
with high levels of lead and mercury and cabnium have
a direct correlation to the likelihood of their insulin resistance.

Even occupational studies show that people who are exposed to
heavy metals, which by the way, is a lot of us.
The deodorant we use are loaded with aluminum, a lot
of beauty care products have arsenic and lead and things
inside of them. A lot of our foods are contaminated.
Beyond just insulin disruption, heavy metals generate also a massive

(18:39):
amount of oxidative stress. They release what are called reactive
oxygen species, which can damage your DNA and inflame the
engines of fuel energy production called your mitochondria. I know
this is big words, guys, but look, when your mitochondria
are toxic, your cells switch into what's called storm ridge mode.

(19:01):
They don't burn sugar and they store fat. This is
why so many diabetics will say, I can't seem to
lose weight no matter what I do. You have to
get the heavy metals out. So how do we do
this well? Step number one, minimize your exposure to them
in the first place. Use a really high quality water filter.

(19:21):
I hate to say this, but a lot of our
water today is toxic, not just with heavy metals, but
with pesticides, even other people's medications. So we need to
filter the water out. We need to choose glass containers
over aluminum. One of the second biggest sources of aluminum
is all the cans that we drink beverages out of.
We need to avoid the large fish. They're high end mercury.

(19:44):
We need to watch out for fluoride containing products, toothpaste,
et cetera. So we need to minimize our exposure step
number one. Step number two, we must bind and remove
the toxins from your body. Yes, you can use things
like corilla and zeolites and even modified citrus pectins to

David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole.
