Speaker 2 (00:45):
Good afternoon, Happy Saturday. You're listening to the Ask Doctor
Ernst Show. My name is doctor Earners, and today is
a very special broadcast. We are streaming live only. Guitar
heels have a game that has preempted my normal airway
radio show, but that doesn't hold us from giving you
great information and oh my gosh, today I have a
(01:08):
topic that is going to ruffle feathers. It's controversial. We're
going to discuss the lies behind conventional medicine and reveal
the truth about how your body is designed to heal
by itself naturally, without the need for prescriptive medications, risky surgeries,
or endless procedures. Today, we're gonna flip the switch on
(01:29):
everything that you thought you knew about blood pressure and cholesterol,
because I want to ask a very bold question. What
if blood pressure and cholesterol being elevated is actually a
good thing for you? I know, right, I know it
sounds absolutely crazy. All your life, you've been told blood
(01:51):
pressure in cholesterol is an enemy. You've probably been told
that blood pressure is the silent killer that leads to
cardiovascular disease. You've probably been told that lesterol clogs your
arteries and can cause heart attacks. You've been told over
and over again that you must do something to drive
those numbers into the perfect zone one twenty over eighty
(02:13):
or less than two hundred for total cholesterol, force them
down with medications or lifestyle modifications. But what if you
have been lied too, What if this so called bad
numbers are actually intelligent signals from your body? Warning signs
if you will yes, but being protective responses. What if
(02:38):
instead of being villainous, high blood pressure and cholesterol could
be the very thing in that moment that your body
needs in order to heal, helping you with whatever the
underlying root cause is. So today, in our special probably
thirty minutes straight broadcast, I'm gonna come at you with
(03:00):
a radical idea. Hopefully I can plant this thought inside
of your mind, and I'm gonna help you by giving
you three powerful reasons that having high blood pressure is
actually a good thing. Then we're gonna move into the
three reasons why having elevated cholesterol, according to your labs
is actually a mechanism that might be saving your life.
(03:22):
And along the way, I'm gonna share some research, some examples,
some analogies, so that we can show you how brilliantly
God designed your body, because ultimately, that's what it comes
down to. Your body is smart. It has an innate
system inside of it, an intelligence that only does the
(03:43):
right thing at the right time. And I know you
might be thinking, like, but how can high blood pressure
be the right thing at the right time? While we're
gonna discuss three ways of that, my doctor just said,
I have to keep pushing my statins harder to get
my cholesterol to come down because I'm gonna have a
heart attack. Well, remember, every symptom in your body is
(04:03):
a signal. Every problem is technically a proactive adaptation. So
we're going to dive deep and all during the show today.
Those of you streaming and watching us online, grab a
copy of the Heart Disease Heal thy Self ebook. It
is a functional guide to addressing cardiovascular health issues. We
just finished with weight loss. What an exceptional masterclass we
(04:26):
had this morning. It was like nine hundred people online,
massive amounts of movement in people understanding that weight loss
should be a side effect to your health. And we
discussed how high blood pressure cholesterol are warning signs. So notice,
most people who are overweight have diabetes and high blood
pressure and cholesterol and issues with their health. And if
(04:49):
we just push those numbers down using prescriptive medications and
not going after the underlying root cause, you'll never understand
where it's coming from. So let's kick things off today
a You can download the Heart Disease Heal thy Self ebook.
Simply text your name, your email, and the word heart

(05:13):
We'll send that over to today and the third week
of September of October. My goodness, right, so the what
day is that? Let me look, I should have pulled
this up in advance the joy of being live. So September,
October eighteenth, it's Saturday. We're going to do a masterclass
on heart disease, blood pressure, cholesterol, arrhythmius, palpitations. If you
(05:35):
have a cardiovascular health issue, download the ebook. It's going
to take you through a journey of how to solve
heart health issues functionally, and join me for the masterclass.
We do them every month. They're always extravagant, and the
next one is October eighteenth at ten am in the morning. Okay,
so let's just discuss this real quick. Elevated blood pressure?
(05:57):
What if it's actually good for you? And you might
hear the words high blood pressure and when you hear them,
what do you think of? For most people, it's like,
oh my gosh, worry a concern. I might have a stroke,
I might have a heart attack. If I don't control
my blood pressure, things are going to burst. Fear is
(06:19):
the i'll call it method of what most doctors lecture
their patients on blood pressure has often been branded as
some sort of a sinister condition that you must do
everything you can at all costs to correct. But let's
take a step back. What actually is blood pressure. Well,
(06:40):
it's simply just the force that is required for your
heart to push fluid through two regions of your body,
all the extremities and everything systemically after your heart the
systolic pressure. Then it's the pressure that it takes to
push the fluids into your lungs to get them oxygenated,
(07:01):
and pull them back into the heart. So blood pressure
is a reference as to how much your heart has
to push fluids through your body. But remember these fluids
carry things like oxygen and nutrients and even hormones. So
blood pressure itself is just a measurement. So it's like
(07:23):
interesting how it's become a disease. But it's just like
the PSI of your tires or the water pressure in
your plumbing system. It's just a number. Now, if the
body is raising the pressure, there must be a reason
for it. So let's ask the bold question, why would
your body and its God given wisdom increase your blood
(07:45):
pressure for the good reason? Number one, to improve oxygen delivery.
Your brain is a very hungry organ for oxygen. It
represents just two percent of the entire weight of your body,
but it can consumes twenty percent of the oxygen that
you breathe in. So if blood flow slows down, if
(08:07):
oxygen delivery drops even just the slightest bit to your brain,
your body knows, hey, I have to respond, and the
way it can respond is by increasing blood pressure. So
think about it like this. If the fire department was
trying to spray water onto a burning building and the
water wasn't reaching the top floors, what do they do? Well,
(08:29):
they turn up the pressure to make the hose push
fluids higher. That's exactly what your body does when it
needs oxygen in tissues. In fact, listen to this research
that was published. This article is called low blood pressure,
anti high pertensive medications and Cognitive functions in the older individuals.
(08:54):
In this study, they show that people with cognitive impairments
are often over readd with prescription lowering medications. So as
their blood pressure goes lower, their memory declines faster, their
cognitive function declines faster. Why because the brain needs oxygen.
(09:16):
And if you decrease blood pressure when the root cause
is a deoxygenated brain. Then you're going to cause cognitive issues.
And think about how many people today have brain fog
and cognitive decline in dementia. Elevated blood pressure can in
this case be protective, and believe it or not, most
people are under oxygenated for several reasons. We push our
(09:39):
skulls forward because we have forward head syndrome. We have
vagal nerve compression, which can physically block the blood flow
up into our brain. So if your spine is out
of alignment causing a forward head carrying and a compression
to the vegel systems, you decrease the oxygenation of the brain,
and the innate intelligen of the body says, hey, bump
(10:01):
that pressure up because we have to get oxygen to
the brain. So reason number one why your blood pressure
might be elevated is you just need more oxygen in
your brain. Number two it could be because it's trying
to overcome some sort of resistance or stiff vessels. Now
imagine a garden hose having a kink inside of it.
(10:24):
The water trickles out. How do you get the water
moving again, Well, you turn up the spigot. More pressure,
more flow, but that's because there's a compression or a blockage.
Same thing happens within your arteries when they get stiffened
because of inflammation or sugar, or they're narrowed because of
(10:47):
inflammatory agents. Your body doesn't just shrug and say, oh, well,
what it does is it actually adapts. It raises the
pressure to make sure the fluids keep flowing to your organs.
And here's where it convey. Medicine often gets it wrong.
Doctors will see the elevated blood pressure and assume that
is the disease. But the pressure is the solution, not
(11:10):
the problem. The real problem, of course, is the inflammation,
the vessel damage. Blood pressure is simply the body's intelligent
way of pushing through it. And something that you will
find that no one talks about is bloodborne toxins homocysteine, ferretin.
Elevated said rates, inflammation of the actual red blood cells themselves,
(11:33):
which is all detectable by blood tests, have been shown
in studies to physically cause small microscopic lesions to your
blood vessels, causing them to constrict, which leads to in
elevations in blood pressure. Remember, blood pressure can simply be
your body's innate intelligent way of pushing fluids through a
(11:53):
closed system to ensure that your organs receive the nutrients
they need. I've seen this play out multiple times within
our clinic. Right now, I have a gentleman coming to
my mind who just this last week told us, Hey,
after going through care, doctor Ernst, I've been able to
get off all of my blood pressure medications. When we
first met with him, his numbers were controlled by meds,
(12:15):
but he would usually say, like, you know, I'm dizzy,
I'm lightheaded, I've got no energy. We ran a bunch
of testing found ferretin levels were high, homo systeine levels
were high, aluminum levels were high, inflammatory markers are high,
vagueal nerve system is compressed. So what did we do.
We detoxed his system, got out the heavy metals. We
(12:35):
sought down the root cause of the inflammation, and once
we detoxed his system corrected the subluxations in his spine,
the interference to the vagal systems. Blood pressure normalized, and
there's no wonder he no longer needs the medication because
his body was raising the pressure to compensate for the
(12:56):
functional root cause subluxation of the inflammation and toxicity so
can your body restore its pressure back to normal, Yes,
once the root cause is removed. Number three another reason
why your blood pressure might be elevated to protect your
vital organs, including your brain and your kidneys. Again, your
(13:19):
brain and your kidneys are the two most blood demanding
organs in your body. Your brain needs constant oxygen and
constant flushing. Your kidneys need a strong flow of blood
through them to filter out all the waste that goes
from your blood into your urine. So if your pressure
starts to change, then these organs suffer. And that's what
(13:42):
some studies show. Listen to this one blood pressure and
the all cause mortality in people aged eighty five and over.
This is huge. What the studies show is that older
adults with actually slightly higher blood pressure live longer than
those with normal blood pressure. I'm gonna let that sink
in for a minute. Slightly higher than normal blood pressure
(14:04):
live longer than people with normal blood pressure. Isn't that fascinating?
Like to me, it's like the very thing we fear. Oh,
elevated blood pressure is associated with protection of our body,
not destruction. So in summary, blood pressure is not your enemy.
Think of it this way. It's your body's way of
(14:25):
making sure that you get enough oxygen, that you have
correct blood flow, that your organs are actually receiving nutrients
and hormones. So many times we go the wrong aspect
and say, oh, it's elevated blood pressure, that's the condition,
that's the disease. You must bring it down, when instead
we should be asking some questions like, hey, are you
(14:47):
running out of oxygen? Are you running out of nutrients?
Are your hormones imbalanced? And your body's in a crisis state,
So that elevated pressure is actually saving you. To use
an analogy, if you were running from a tiger, lion, bear,
something chasing you, your blood pressure would go up because
you need more oxygen, your muscles need fuel, your body
(15:08):
needs to be flushed so you can move and move quickly.
And in that instance, yes, your blood pressure goes up.
So if we were to check your blood pressure right
then and there and say, well, it looks like you
have elevated blood pressure, you're gonna need to take a medication,
we're not understanding that that's because of what's going on
and what just happened. Adaptation is what your body is
(15:31):
known for. If you find the root cause, and you
fix it, then it can correct itself. And we've seen
this happen over and over and over again, not just
when blood pressure, but with arrhythmias and palpitations. So again,
because it's a special broadcast today, I just want to
wet your whistle as we dive deep over the next
four weeks into cardiovascular health, solving blood pressure the right way,
(15:57):
solving cholesterol the right way, solving arrhythmia and palpitations the
right way by tracing down the root cause. So is
blood pressure always bad? No, if it's because of a deoxygenation,
which then I'm telling you almost every single patient we
work with they have low SPO two. The oxygenation of
their blood is down, there's forward head posturing physically compressing
(16:21):
the ability for them to inhale oxygen. The vaguel nerves
are compressed, the spine is out of alignment, the blood
flow going into their brain is diminished, and if they
have high blood pressure, we would say it's because of that,
and there's potential toxicities and inflammation. And even watch this
nutrient deficiencies, many times things elevate because we're missing the
(16:45):
very core nutrients we need. And wait until I burst
your bubble. As we shift now into cholesterol and how
cholesterol is actually trying to feed you the things you're
deficient in. Hey, if you need help with blood pressure,
download the Heart Disease Held they Self ebook. It's completely free,
it's yours. Just simply text the word heart plus your
name and email to seven O four nine zero six
(17:08):
to zero nine four. Again. If you're listening to this
as a streaming podcast, the event is not till October eighteenth,
you have plenty of time to text your name and info.
If you're watching live on our social streams YouTube, Facebook, Instagram,
just comment below, send us your email and your name.
We'll get you the information that you need. Okay, cholesterol.
Is it possible that cholesterol is actually a good thing?
(17:31):
What if I told you that elevated cholesterol is good
for you, and I know you're gonna start banging your
head against the table, going doctor arnest. Is not what
my physician says. In fact, I just had my physical
and my doctor's telling me I must lower my cholesterol.
It's been vilified for years, actually decades. We've been told
that cholesterol is the enemy. Our doctors will say it
(17:55):
clogs our arteries. We've been told it's the reason we
can end up with heart disease. We've been told you
must take a statin to fix it and get the
numbers good. We're starting to hand statins out like candy.
In fact, I've been read a study recently that was
showing that they conventional physicians, big pharma believe the only
way to solve heart disease is if we now start
(18:15):
giving teens and children's statins like a daily multi vitamin
to prevent heart disease. Yet, despite billions of these prescriptions
being made, heart disease is still the number one killer
in the US. We have very low cholesterol and we
still see people having heart issues. So here's the truth.
Cholesterol itself is not evil. In fact, you may know this,
(18:41):
it is absolutely essential for your life. Every single cell
membrane in your body has cholesterol in it. Without it,
your cells would literally fall apart and collapse. Think of
it as like kind of an anchoring molecule that holds
the membranes together and makes them very fluid. Like you
remove the cholester, they get stiff, they can crack, the
(19:02):
cell membranes can break, and that is called cellular collapse.
Cholesterol is also a building block for many things, hormones,
vitamin D, bile acids which help you to digest food.
So if you watch this, if you're deficient in vitamin D,
it could be because your body's trying to elevate cholesterol
(19:25):
to help you make the vitamin D. If you are
struggling to produce bile and have the correct proper digestive enzymes,
your body might be saying, hey, I need to ramp
up cholesterol to make more bile acids. If your hormones
are out of balance, if estrogen is off and testosterone
is down. Cholesterol is a precursor for all major hormones
(19:47):
in your body. So the simple truth is this, cholesterol
itself is not the enemy. Why would your body raise
cholesterol Again, it's not random, it's with purpose and intent.
Reason Number one, cholesterol can repair and plug tissues and arteries.
(20:08):
So when an artery is damaged either because of toxins.
Homocysteine is known to damage our arterial vessels. Ferretin can
damage your vessels. Metals, aluminum, mercury, lead, sugar, inherently, inflammation,
oxidative stress damages cardiovascular vessels. So what happens is cholesterol
(20:29):
shows up sort of like a repair crew. It can patch,
it can heal, it can strengthen, and it's there if
you think about it to actually act as a bandage
until you decrease the inflammation going on your body. This
is why cholesterol is often found in the arteries as
a plaque. But think about it. It doesn't mean that
the cholesterol itself caused the plaque. We use this analogy
(20:52):
a lot. It was actually part of a book called
The Great Cholesterol con Doctor Frank Sinatra, I know, right
like this, but an MD, Frank Sinatra, Md showed that
cholesterol is like a firefighter showing up to a scene
where there's a massive fire and they're there to put
the fire out. So the fire is the inflammation in
(21:15):
the vessels. The cholesterol are the firemen going, hey, we
got to calm this inflammation down. So cholesterol is like
a bandage. So listen to this. A study published titled
inflammation not Cholesterol is the chronic disease Cause of Cardiology
Issues the American Journal of Cardiology. Listen to the title again,
(21:38):
Inflammation not cholesterol is a cause of chronic cardiovascular disease
The American Journal of cardiology. The study showed that cholesterol
is not the primary driver of cardiovascular disease. Instead, it's
inflammation of the vessels of your heart. Yet, for some
(21:59):
reason and in, cholesterol is still blamed. And I'd like
to think it's because it's a twenty billion dollar industry
annually in regards to statin prescriptions. So we're not going
to break that, you know, source of income. Reason number two,
Cholesterol makes your hormones. This is a critical response. Testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, cortisol,
(22:23):
even vitamin D all of them come from cholesterol. So
if you are artificially forcing your cholesterol levels down with statins,
you strip your body's ability to maintain normal hormonal balance.
Most men start losing testosterone as they get older, so
your cholesterol will lift to compensate for that drop to
(22:45):
help keep you producing testosterone. Women lose progesterone and estrogen
again as they get older, so again your body's saying, hey,
I need more cholesterol to make it. Stress hormones fall apart,
energy drops, mental health can take a toll. Cholesterol has
been linked to higher rates of depression and suicide. Listen
(23:06):
to the article titled low serum cholesterol and suicide in
the general population. They show that the lower your cholesterol is,
the more likely you are to have high massive rates
of depression and which can lead to suicide. When cholesterol rises,
especially during stressful periods, it's your body making sure that
(23:26):
it's keeping you balanced. And I know this is going
to be like booh, because elevations in cholesterol can be
a good thing. Third, and something no one talks about.
Cholesterol itself strengthens your immune system. Cholesterol is part of
your immune system defense LDL, the so called bad cholesterol.
(23:47):
Ready for this, guys, It can actually bind to bacterial toxins,
neutralize them, and get rid of them. The article is
titled Lipopolysaccharide binding properties of lipoproteins. Got to translate that
for you. Lipopolysaccharides are components of bacteria that often leak
(24:08):
into your blood and cause massive distress and decay into
your immune system. They're toxins. It spikes antibodies and it
spikes an inflammatory response. It comes from having a leaky
gut and having small particle pieces of the bacteria get
into your bloodstream. They are what's a good phrase for this.
The acronym is LPs lipopolysaccharides. Go google this type in
(24:33):
LPs and heart disease. You're gonna find a massive connection
between lipopolysaccharides inviting an inflammatory response driving cardiovascar disease. Yet,
this study published lipopolysacchride binding properties of lipoproteins cholesterol, shows
that cholesterol can actually scavenge around and grab these bacterial
(24:54):
toxins and remove them, which means people with slightly higher
than normal cholesterol recover faster from infections. In fact, listen
to this, Multiple studies have shown that older adults with
higher cholesterol. Ready for this, live longer than those with
lower cholesterol. Hey, if you don't believe me, check out
(25:15):
the article titled association of plasma cholesterol with all cause
and cause specific mortality among older adults a systemic review.
You can literally just type in that phrase the association
of plasma cholesterol with all cause and cause specific mortality
among older adults. Isn't that incredible? Higher than normal cholesterol,
(25:40):
longer life? Hey, did you notice earlier higher than normal
blood pressure, longer life. The molecule that you've been told
is trying to kill you is actually technically trying to
prevent you from illnesses and extend your life. And I've
seen this clinically with patients that come into office. Have
(26:00):
a recent patient who came in whose cholesterol was over
two hundred and fifteen. She was panicking or doctor told
her you must take statins. But we dug deeper and
found out it was coming from a chronic inflammatory gut leak.
So we run panels to look for microbiome disturbances gut leak,
and when we found a bacterial overgrowth with a leaky
gut and we started dressing that, we recognized that her
(26:24):
body was using cholesterol as a method to go attach
and get rid of all the bacterial particles that were
leaking into her blood. Once we got her blood or sorry,
once we got her blood cholesterol levels to come down
is because we dealt with the gut. We were working
on sealing the gut and normalizing the lipopolysaccharide leak. And
(26:45):
guess what happens to cholesterol by itself. So let's put
this all together. High blood pressure, high cholesterol are not diseases.
In fact, there's signals. Remember it's an adaptation process. They
are purposeful God designed mechanisms to allow you to protect
(27:06):
and repair and physically sustain your life. In my opinion,
the tragedy of modern medicine is that it interprets these
signals is like mistakes. Something's wrong, and it tries to
silence them with medications, prescription drugs, etc. Lower your blood pressure,
lower your cholesterol, and in doing so often they rob
your body of natural defenses. So as we close out
(27:28):
this special edition of a preemptied asktect your own show.
I want you to know this. Your body is not stupid,
it's not broken, it doesn't make mistakes. It only does
what is good for you, and it will never harm you.
The real question that we should be asking is not
how do I push these numbers down, but instead why
(27:49):
is my body doing this in the first place? And
what root causes need to be addressed. The three primary
causes we see neurology interference, where your brain is losing
physical connection to your tissues and it causes deficiency and
organic function. If you lose neural signaling to your heart,
(28:12):
your heart can start doing all kinds of crazy things.
There's the arrhythmias, the palpitations, and the blood pressure changes.
If it's your liver, cholesterol can start to hypersecrete because
it's trying to fix you, not harm you. You don't
have to fight it, but instead you should support it.
So next time somebody tells you that high blood pressure
(28:33):
and high cholesterol is your enemy, you should say, now
you know what, it's my body taking care of me.
I'm listening to them as warning signals. I'm gonna dive deeper.
I'm gonna get tests done so I can find my cause. Remember,
subluxation of the spine is root cause. Number one, a
disconnection of your brain as it communicates to all of
your body. Number two, leaky gut. We see this in
(28:55):
ninety to ninety five percent of everyone that comes in
with a cardiovascular health issue. There are studies connecting a
gut leak to all known sources and causes of cardiovascar disease,
blood pressure, cholesterol, palpitation's rhythm, as you name it. Something's
going on with your heart, there's something going on with
your gut. And thirdly is toxicity. We know that heavy
(29:15):
metals physically disrupt the electrical communication within the heart. They
break down the mitochondria and cause a less efficient system.
That can also damage kidneys, which of course regulate your fluids,
which can make your blood pressure go up. So just
know this. If you find out if you have neural
sublixations in your spine, if your gut is leaking, and
(29:38):
you have toxins, and you fix those three things, the
elevation in the cholesterols and blood pressure goes away because
your body is now healthy and it no longer needs
to push as hard because it's being oxygenated, it's being fed,
it's clearing itself out. And don't silence the signals. Learn
from them above all, else forget this. You can heal yourself.
(30:02):
Your body was given an innate wisdom and strength to repair,
but it cannot do it if there's an interference. And
if you're looking to find out what those interferences are
in regards to cardiovascuar disease, the heart disease. Healed Thyself
ebook has them listed for you, even shows you how
to test them. And I'm hosting a masterclass again Saturday,
October eighteenth. It's your opportunity to join me live. It's
(30:24):
Q and A style, it's back and forth, it's informational,
and I will show you how to lower your cholesterols naturally,
how we help our patients get off meds easily. Blood pressure, arrhythmias, palpitations.
You can reset all of that and more when you
become your own doctor. Thanks for tuning in. Hopefully next
week we're back on the airways, but if we're not,
we always come at you streaming live through Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter,
(30:48):
wherever they'll allow this stream to go. Be blessed. I
love the factor you're here today, and don't forget Text
your name your email on the word heart to seven
oh four nine zero six two zero nine four so
we can send the ebook to you as we now
start to dive deep into a series on how to
solve heart health issues the functional way. It begins with
(31:08):
understanding that the signals are normal. It's your body compensating
for a deficiency in some area. Find that deficiency, and
that begins step number one. We'll carry through over the
next couple of weeks deeper conversations of blood pressure, cholesterols, arrhythmias, palpitations,
and how you can make your heart strong and healthy
so you can have vibrance and life and energy. Thanks
(31:31):
for tuning in today and I look for to seeing
you guys every Saturday at three pm until next time.
Be blessed. Bye bye,
