Fatigue is now the number one most widespread complaint of
Americans going to their physicians. The CDC estimates that fifty
percent of adults are feeling chronically tired. Even while we
study what we struggle with exhaustion, a hundred million people

They've been told by their doctors that their blood work
looks perfect and normal. There's no explanation for their fatigue.
But here is the raw truth. If you feel tired
all the time, there is something deeper happening inside of
your body. Fatigue is not caused by a lack of

a condition known as reverse T three dominance.

conventional testing is done. Most doctors measure TSH primarily as

Yes it's out there, and yes it exists, but it's
not a direct thyroid response. It's your brain sending a
hormone to the thyroid to say, hey, thyroid work. Then
your thyroid has to make T four. Now it is
an inactive hormone, and it has to be converted into
the active thyroid hormone within the liver. So where the
real magic happens is the process of how your liver

takes inactive T four and turns it into active T three. Now,
if this is working properly, then you're gonna be vibrant and.

But for a lot of you, the hidden fatigue factor
is right here. When your liver is under stress, be
that from toxins or diet or medications or inflammation, it
starts to convert T four inactive into a hormone that
could be considered a counterfeit hormone called reverse T three.
It looks exactly like T three, but metabolically it's a decoy.

It fits into the receptor for thyroid hormones, but it doesn't.

wake cycles. So when your adrenal glands are in sync
when they're working. Cortisol rises in the morning to help
you wake up, and it falls at night to help
you rest. But here's what's happening for most of you.

Cortisol is super low in the morning, so you can't
seem to wake yourself up, and guess what, it's high
in the latter parts of the day into the evening,
and you're kind of like, man, I'm so just wired,
Like I can't fall asleep. I'm so tired, but I
can't sleep. If you're that tired but wired individual, start thinking.
Adrenal glands stress, be it physical, emotional, or chemical, which

is a big one, are the main disruptors of your
adrenal gland function. Whether it's financial stressors or a relationship conflict,
or you haven't been sleeping very well. Your body perceives
all of these things as a dangerous threat. Over time,
your brain and your adrenals start losing connection. There's something
known as the HPA axis. It's how your hypothalamus, your

pituitary gland, and your adrenals talk to each other with hormones.

And here's the best part, guys.

Twenty twenty five, we have tests that can actually measure
the HP axis and find out is your adrenal gland
working properly? Is your brain working properly. In the early stages,
here's what happens. Cortisol stays super high. This is the

But as this goes on, cortisol production starts to actually
come down. So now it's like you're barely able to

And you hit this wall of mega exhaustion, like around

two to four o'clock in the afternoon, you feel like
you're running on fumes. This is when most people start
turning to energy drinks, caffeine drinks, whatever. Unfortunately, what we
don't realize is that the stress we're under is often constant, right,
So your body was never designed to be in this
constant state of fight or flight. So when your chemistry

becomes out of balance, your energy takes a toll. So
how do we restore all of this balance. Well, the
first is to re establish base rhythm. We need to
make sure that when you wake up in the morning
or as the sun starts to come out, you're getting
natural sunlight exposure to your eyes, so like as soon
as the sun rise, if you can do this, get outside,

walk around, let the natural sunlight start to kick and
reset your metabolic clock.

We have to stop.

Using energy drinks and caffeine. Yes, they're going to temporarily
make you feel good, but they're drainers for your adrenal glands.
We need to start prioritizing your sleep. This is where
we start asking you to be able to sleep schedule,
so in bed no later than ten thirty, making sure
you're getting us solid eight hours dark out your room,

use blackout shades, cool it down. You need to be
sleeping like around seventy to sixty nine degrees in your room.
If your brain is getting constant stimulation from light, your
cell phones, your TVs, even your clocks that are giving
off light, acques your brain that hey it's not nighttime,
it's actually daytime, and so your adrenal glands start to

turn on.
