(00:01):
To foster a positive and adaptable mindset, youhave to embrace the challenges and learn from
your mistakes that you are making or that youhave made.
Let's take a look at the definition of amindset.
Now this refers to an individual's beliefs andtheir attitudes about themselves, about people,
(00:31):
about life's events in general.
Now it seems general, but it is complex becauseindividual, you and I, we are complex.
We are complex species, and that's why yourmind, your mindset, it is complex.
And once we can learn how to use, how toembrace our mind, and how to put it into a
(00:59):
positive way so that we influence what we wantout of life, the success that we want, we want
to achieve, We want the talents that we wereborn with, that we were given by God to know
that you have these amazing talents.
Why not use them?
(01:20):
And then the intellect.
We are intelligent.
So when we can seek the intellect, the talents, the potential, the capabilities that we have to
achieving so much more.
Isn't it beautiful why we are not using ourfull potential?
(01:42):
Because if we don't use our full potential, then we are only falling behind and success is
about how much, how badly do you wantsomething, how badly are you going after what
you want.
And most people want to go.
(02:03):
They are taking those 10 steps forward but theyare going backwards.
They're taking 10 steps or 20 steps back.
Why?
Because of the paradigm.
Your paradigm what is a paradigm?
The paradigm is your limiting belief about you.
(02:24):
If you are saying to yourself and the beliefsthat we all of us hold And this goes back to
childhood.
What we were told when we were young bysociety, by our parents.
We were told when we would go to church forexample, it's quiet.
Oh, and you begin to speak up.
(02:46):
Oh, but, you know, don't speak.
Don't be allowed.
Don't speak up.
Don't you know, it was always about don't dothis and don't do that.
And when we cultivated to thinking this way,our behaviors automatically follow us in
adulthood.
And this is why I'm so passionate to talk aboutmindset, how your mind truly dictates as to
(03:13):
what you are doing, how you need to get out ofyour way of what you are doing, your behaviors,
how your behaviors are dictating you in certainways of how you are thinking, your thoughts,
your feeling, how do you feel internally aboutyou, and your behaviors in turn.
(03:36):
Your mind is an instrument of your body, andyour body truly reflects upon what you are
thinking in your mind.
If you are thinking negative about you all daylong, it's negative.
You may feel that it's positive, but isn't thatcontradicting yourself?
(03:58):
You may be feeling positive, but your thoughts, your mental, your mind is operating on a
negative level.
And you might be saying things like, I am nogood.
I am not successful.
I suck at playing football.
(04:19):
I am angry because I have not accomplished.
These are all negative thoughts about you andhow you are thinking about yourself which is no
good and in turn you're not gonna see or havethe benefits, the results that you're truly
(04:40):
seeking out of life to be successful, toaccomplish, and to achieve what you set out to
do every single day.
So here are two types of mindset.
Number one is your fixed mindset and number twois your growth mindset.
Let's take a deep dive into both of these.
(05:04):
The first one is your fixed mindset.
This mindset of an individual, they they arealways looking at the negative.
They were always looking at the glass halffull.
And when you when individuals of this mindset, fixed mindset, they are thinking on a general
(05:30):
statement.
And the general statement about themselves, about people, there's no hope.
They feel there's no hope, and they will notchange or they don't want to change.
They don't want to change because they knowthat they are fine.
(05:50):
And because of they know they are fine and theydon't want to change, this holds them back.
This holds them back from ever moving forwardor succeeding to where they want to go.
And if you can number two, operate on a growthmindset, now this changes the trajectory of an
(06:15):
individual.
Individuals who possess a growth mindset, theyhave a glass that is full.
That is full.
That means their potential they have to succeedis far greater.
They see, they seek, and they have this visionof a growth mind to expand their mind.
(06:41):
They seek opportunities.
They seek growth, and they seek the potential.
They know the capabilities, the abilities tosucceed in business, the ability to seek their
talent, to refine their talent when they aretold to when they are given criticisms for
(07:05):
example.
They take it constructively.
They are proactive in the criticism.
They don't react.
They are proactive.
They pro react and they go far because theyhave a growth open mind.
They have an open mind and these individuals byhaving an open mind to what whatever people are
(07:32):
saying to them.
They take it because they know they can learn.
And once you can learn about how you canimprove in life, in your business, at work, you
will succeed and you will go far.
So I am passionate to talk about mindsetbecause mindset, once we begin to embrace and
(07:56):
cultivate as to the lack that we may have.
It's okay because we all do.
We're human.
We're human beings.
And human beings, we are meant to learn, togrow, and change, and evolve.
So I hope this video truly inspired you toalways constantly be at number two, the growth
(08:22):
mindset so that you are learning, you areconstant, you are evolving every day of your
life.
