８月も終わりかけですが、まだまだ暑い日々が続きます。もう「残暑」という概念は無くなってしまったのかもしれません。暑いし、お盆も終わって溜まった仕事をしなければ…いったん心を無にしたいけど、自分探しの旅をするほど暇ではない…。そんな時には、「坐禅」を体験してみてはいかがでしょうか。今回は、神奈川県鎌倉市にあるお寺「円覚寺」の坐禅会に番組スタッフが参加した様子をお届けします。収録は平日の朝6時。円覚寺では、毎日朝6時に「暁天坐禅会」を開催しています。聞こえるほとんどの音は、朝に鳴く蝉の音です。この蝉の音の中で自分と向き合い、心をからっぽにしてみようという努力をします。しかし、それが上手くいっていないと、それに気づいたお坊さんが「警策」という棒で肩を打ちます。リスナーの皆さんも、この放送中、目をつむり、自分と向き合い、坐禅の擬似体験をしてみてはいかがでしょうか。また、この企画は、DJ・アーティストのやけのはらさんが番組プロデューサーに企画を持ちかけていただき、実現しました。この収録にもやけのはらさんに参加いただいています。

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
