Jacobs Run had significant radio airplay around Australia and internationally for their first self-titled album, with two promotional tours of the US. In 2018, the band embarked on a USA promotional tour, conducting interviews with radio stations and media outlets in California, New Mexico, and New York. They followed up in 2019 with live performances in Austin, Houston, and San Angelo beside Australia.
Jacobs Run, during covid lockdowns started working on their next album produced by legendary Australian producer Mark Opitz AM (INXS, Cold Chisel, Models, Noiseworks). The new album expands their passionate and powerful songs and the band's big, melodic, catchy, rock sound with grandeur and depth with orchestration from renowned conductor and arranger George Ellis and 32 piece orchestra and vocal choir conducted by esteemed vocal director Susie Ahern. Album art and visual concept by Dan Reed.
Jacobs Run core members Michael Jacobs, Peter Curigliano and Fabian Bucci have played around the Melbourne music scene for many years in various bands but have come together to create music that blends layers of guitar and orchestration with classic melodies to create a powerful sound. The extended musicians include Phil Turcio (keys) and Dragon Stanic (guitar) for both live performances and recording sessions.
