Kim Humphreys is a NSW Central Coast based award winning guitarist, composer, producer and animation film maker. His music is retro influenced surf, spaghetti western, blues and rock guitar instrumental recordings, releasing 7 albums over the years.
Kim Humphreys has been a member of various groups such as Rick & The Bad Boys, The Sect, Hot Cottage, Stumble and Great Done. Over the years he has played the Aussie pub rock circuit with Ted Mulry, Stevie Wright, Jeff St John and Dutch Tilders, as well as tours with Canned Heat, Bo Diddley, Sam & Dave plus recordings alongside Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Tommy & Phil Emmanual and Russell Morris. He has been an animator for movies like Dot & The Kangaroo, Journey to The Centre of the Earth, Around the World in Eighty Days, The Gentlemen of Titipu and Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories. Kim Humphreys original music has been used in movies, documentary films and commercials.
