A war that was one of the fiercest battles fought in the history of mankind. East Pakistan was reeling under the terror of Pakistani leaders. Injustice and atrocities on Bengali Muslims and Hindu families living in East Pakistan had reached their peak. Under the orders of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Indian Armed Forces retaliated and pinned down the Pakistani soldiers. We won the war, but the price paid was immense.
