Nederland overweegt een heffing op pakketjes van buiten de Europese Unie, met name uit China, om de instroom van goedkope online bestellingen beter te reguleren. Dat meldt het FD. De maatregel zou mogelijk al op 1 januari ingaan. Volgens FD-journalist Laurens Berentsen stuit het voorstel echter op kritiek, omdat de verwachte opbrengsten aanzienlijk hoger liggen dan de daadwerkelijke kosten van de controles.
