Tune in here to this Friday edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen!

Breaking Brett Jensen kicks off the show by talking about a recent situation regarding CMS and Piedmont Middle School. He explains that he was first informed about the incident at Piedmont Middle on Wednesday morning, based on an email that the principal sent out to parents on Tuesday night. Although the initial email sent out by the principal gave vague details, Jensen found out the incident was an alleged sexual assault, involving a group of boys going after another boy. He also obtained the video of the alleged assault, which he describes as volatile.

Later, Jensen talks about the Carolina Panthers upcoming game against the New York Jets. He shares the interview that Panthers head coach Dave Canales held with members of the media. In the interview, Canales states that running backs Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle will share opportunities in the offensive backfield. Canales emphasizes that he is excited for the opportunity for both players to help the offense be efficient on Sunday. Additionally, Canales gives updates about the available players at other skill positions, such as outside linebacker and positions along the offensive line.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hi, Oh, let's go I oh, let's go. Oh, let's
go oh, Let's come.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
A news talk eleven ten and ninety nine three WBT
Brett Jenson here with you on this Friday night edition
of Breaking with Brett Jenson. Seven oh four or five
seven eleven ten is the telephone number as always, and guys,
that is also the exact same number for the WBT
text line, which of course is driven by Liberty Buick
and GMC. And you really need to be following me

(00:54):
on x at Brett Underscore Jensen for all the latest
and breaking news in and around the other in and
around the Charlotte area and be like the other thousands
that do because they know I tend to break a
lot of news. And I'm not trying to be braggadocious
or anything like that, just saying it. Because tonight this
morning is a prime example of what happened. I had

(01:16):
a story starting at six am. I did a report
late late late last night, and first thing this morning
at six am, Mark Garrison started using my report and
at seven am on the dot, I put a tweet
out there on X or I a post on x

(01:38):
about the situation involving CMS and Piedmont Middle School. And
I went into detail, but not uber detail, not excessive
detail for various reasons, many of them should be obvious
why I didn't go into great detail, or some might

(01:59):
say explicit detail for various for obvious reasons. So what
I'm gonna do for you tonight. It may take one segment,
it may take two segments.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
We'll see how it goes. That's the best thing about this.
There's no timetable.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I can do it for three segments or four segments
iff I want, but we're gonna start.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
It off with tonight. And earlier in the week.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Wednesday morning, I heard about an incident, a possible incident
at Piedmont Middle School. And for those of you who
want to know, Piedmont Middle School is just outside of
two seventy seven, you know, John, like the loop around Uptown,
and it's right over there. I'm like maybe a half

(02:48):
a mile or so three quarters of a mile half
a mile from to seventy seven and Central af just
before you head into Plaza Midwood.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Okay, it's right next to.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
It anyways, So that's where the Piedmont Middle School is.
And so I hear about this, I was like, oh, Okay, Well,
because the principal at the middle school, and I'm not
going to say the principal's name because I don't know
how to pronounce the last name. It's either Barone or Barone,

(03:20):
and I'm not sure which one it is. So the
principal sends out an email to the parents of Piedmont
Middle School on Tuesday night, and I will read that
email to you in its entirety, and I'll give you
the exact time and everything else that it was sent out.

(03:42):
And so the email was sent out to parents Tuesday
at six twenty six pm and said Peedmont Middle School Families,
this is Principal Baron or Barone reaching out. We are
aware of a video and rumors circulating about an alleged
incident on the campus yesterday meeting Monday.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
The email again will send on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
We are unable to share any details, but we are
following all protocols and procedures. If you have any questions
or concerns, please contact me directly. We take the safety
and well being of our students very seriously. They put
this at the bottom of every email. By the way,
the email could be about apples, and they will put
the same paragraph at the bottom of every email. We
take the safety and well being of our students very seriously.

(04:29):
Please remind your students that they should never share inappropriate videos.
Doing so may result in consequences. We appreciate and understand
your interest in this matter. Thank you for your continued
support of Piedmont Middle School.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
So I had heard.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Some information that may or may not have happened at
Piedmont Middle School.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
So that.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Email obviously leaves a lot of questions, Like it's very vague, right,
So if you're a parent and.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
You get that email, you're like, what the hell? Like what?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
So I had heard a lot of different things. Half
of it wound up being true disturbing, but half of
what I had been told was true, the other half
was not necessarily true. And then also this is a
great lesson when I ask people how to spell their name,

(05:33):
like Isaac, does he have one or two?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Essays? Does he have one or two c's? John? Is
it j on or joh? Like Rob? What you think
just Rob? But it might be Robb. So I always ask.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Very what would seem simplistic questions, because you never want
to assume. Because I got burned on that once long
time ago when I was a reporter after shot observer.
So I had been told, hey, there was a sexual
assault that occurred, and you know, someone was you know,
sexually assaulted and they videoed it and it was posted

(06:09):
online on Facebook and it happened off by the football field,
and it was like, Okay, here's the reality. This is
why you never assume. The reality is when you hear.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
A sexual assault, a group of boys sexually assaulted a student,
that's what you're That's what I'm told.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Okay, I'm told that early Thursday, late late Wednesday, early
like Wednesday, and then I heard even more Thursday morning.
It turns out it wasn't a girl that was allegedly
sexually assaulted. It was boys on boy and so a

(06:54):
younger boy with older boys as the the instigator. And
so I'm hearing about this, but I'm like, Okay, I
don't have proof. Yes, I've got an email from I've
got an email from the principle that he sent out
to the parents, but that's not enough to like just
start going off with reports like I have to be

(07:16):
especially something like this, I have to be like, I
have to be careful. And so I'm trying to talk
to as many people as humanly possible. I mean a
lot of people, and I'm hearing things and hearing things,
and I still I don't like I'm hearing a lot
of the same things. But there are also very small

(07:38):
things that are different from one person to the next
that are telling me things. So last night I finally
got the video of the alleged assault. And there's two
forms of the video. There's the three minute version and

(08:01):
then basically the ninety second version or minute in twenty
second version. I have the minute in twenty second version.
I'm trying to get the three minute version, and when
we come back, I'm going to tell you as dignified
as I can about the video. I will not go

(08:22):
into great, great details because you don't need to hear it,
and out of respect for the victim, but I will
tell you what I saw as best I can without
being graphic, and also the things that have transpired since
my big report came out early this morning and it

(08:44):
went on Twitter or I should say X excuse me,
went on X at seven am exactly is when it hit.
And let's see right now, as a matter of fact,
right now it has my report. I'm just trying to
figure out. Let's see, I'm just trying to do this

(09:04):
real quick, like on the fly, and I should have
probably already had this.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
The report that I put out this morning at seven
am now has thirty four thousand views. Okay, so we're
not even twelve hours in and it's got thirty four
thousand views. So when we come back, I'm going to
tell you and talk to you about the video. Welcome

(09:33):
back to Breaking with Brett Jensen on this Friday night,
continuing the discussion about CMS and involving Piedmont Middle School.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
And alleged assault that took place there.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
A lot of parents are very upset because a lot
of parents have seen the videos circulating. The alleged assault
was recorded on a phone, and I have the video.
So again, it did not occur outside. This alleged assault

(10:05):
did not occur outside. There were multiple boys. And when
you hear sexually assault, you assume, and again you know
what happens when you assume, but you assume that it's
like boys on a girl.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
It wasn't. It was boys on a boy.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
And it took place in what looks like a football
equipment room, like where they keep like the tackling dummies
and all kinds of extra stuff for the football team.
And I pulled a little audio from the video. And
by the way, I believe I'm the only reporter. Other

(10:42):
reporters may have it by now, but I know for
the longest time I was the only reporter that I
have this video. So what you're gonna hear now is
just a brief snippet of the audio that I pulled
from the video where they're worried about being walked in
by coaches, but where.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
The college is walking y'all lock the doors, So no,
I know, I got you, I got you. You're doing it.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
They y'all need to go lock the door. The coaches
might come in. Oh yeah, I got that.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Roll over, roll over, roll over.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
That's the video, about three minutes worth. About a little
bit after that, maybe ten fifteen seconds after that, things
start getting pretty pretty volatile, and you can hear the

(11:51):
panic in the boy's voice.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Going no, no, no, no, no, hell no no no
no no.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
You can hear it. You can hear the panic in
his voice. So at that point I broke the story.
This morning, well, the school they put out another email

(12:22):
to parents.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
This afternoon, like around one o'clock or so.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
And as soon as I pull up that email, again,
I guess I should have had this all waiting for you.
But here's the email, and again this was sent by
the Piedmont Middle School principal. Earlier this week, I shared
a message regarding a video and rumors circulating about an

(12:50):
incident involving students that took place on our campus. No
CMS personnel were involved in the incident, because see, they're
not telling people what happened or who was involved, that
it was student on students and all that stuff, right,
They're not saying that. They just want you to know
that it wasn't involved like in a teacher or something
like that. No cemous personnel were involved in the incident.

(13:14):
Please know that we immediately followed all established safety protocols
or procedures and protocols to ensure the well being of
our students and staff. As this incident involves confidential student matters,
we are unable to share any further information. That's the
misleading information that I was talking about with Brett Winnable.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
That's not true.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
That's absolutely not true. They are allowed to say we
are investigating an alleged or possible sexual assault or Title
nine situation involving students.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
How do I know that?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Because they also confirm when students bring guns to school,
they confirm that or bring weapons to school, they confirm
that that's a student matter. Is it not a student
committing a crime? So yes, they again, they always pick
and choose when on what rules or what kind of

(14:18):
made up pseudo rules they want to follow.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
This is student matter? Really?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Okay, okay, remember that next time you're promoting a student
for doing something, well, hey, it's a student matter. It's
a student matter, you shouldn't be doing that. Nonetheless, they're
so disingenuous. We do, however, want to acknowledge that this
situation has understandably raised concerns. The safety and wellbeing of

(14:45):
our students remain our highest priority. We recognize that some
students may be experiencing strong emotions or may simply need
someone to talk to. Support is available through our counseling
team and others. Trusted staff members for any student. Encourage
our students to take advantage of these resources. The reason
is this video was circulated and a lot of the

(15:07):
students and a lot of the parents have already seen it.
We do want to remind our community that sharing or
repeating unverified information can intensely can intensify concerns, make it
more difficult to address situations appropriately, I should say, make
it more difficult to address situations appropriately and may impede

(15:29):
any investigation. We encourage everyone to rely on information provided
through official communications.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
You're literally not providing any information. They're getting their information
through me and maybe other media outlets. You're not providing
any information. So what they email just said, Hey, parents,
we don't want you talking to any media. Please don't
talk to any media.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
They keep talking.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
About rumors and rumors and rumors, okay, rumors, unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Rumors. First sentence.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Earlier this week, I shared a message regarding at video
and rumors.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
Okay, okay, rumors, but hey, don't talk to the media.
Keep your mouth shut. We don't want any of this
out there.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Keeping our schools safe is a shared responsibility, and we
truly value the partnership our families and of our families
and community. As a reminder, if students see or hear's
something concerning, they are encouraged to speak and with a
trusted adult, we youse say something. An anonymous reporting system
thank you for your support of Piedmont Middle School. But

(16:40):
thank you for your support, but only listen to what
we're telling you because we have such a great track
record of keeping our parents informed of everything. Oh, we
have such a great, great track record of keeping our
parents informed about Audrey kel or the rock or Backgate,
or whatever the situation may may be. Well, we have

(17:00):
such a great track record of keeping our parents informed.
Although we're not telling you anything about this one. But
don't talk to the media. Don't talk to the media
about what you've seen on the video.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Yeah, don't do that. Don't believe your eyes. Only get
it from us. Believe what we tell.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
You, not what your eyes tell you, not what your
neighbors tell you, not what your child tells you.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Only believe us because we're the authorities. We're the know
all and be all.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
When we come back, I got some other stuff that
we're going to get into, and then we're going.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
To try and end this on a up note.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
The Carolina Panthers are playing at the New York Jets
looking for another one to go above five hundred. Welcome
back to Breaking with Bret Jenson. A few more minutes

(18:00):
as we go up until seven o'clock tonight. Okay, so
so now what now, what's going on with the school?

Speaker 3 (18:09):
The videos? What's going on? Now?

Speaker 2 (18:11):
What's the situation now? Well, the situation will be this.
Clearly CMPD will investigate it or is investigating it. The
CMS Police Department will probably do that as well. And yes,
CMS has a small police department, but they have their
own little law enforcement division that tends to work, you know,

(18:35):
hand in hand with CMPD. And also you've got CMS.
They will have to investigate this as a Title nine
and Title nine is you know, someone's rights were violated
and sexually and.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
All that stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Right, So obviously that's the least of the issues. A
lot of it will be, you know more obviously was CMPD.
Somebody asked me today, Brett. Can they be charged as adults?
Absolutely not if these are thirteen and fourteen year olds. No, Nope,
cannot do it. The maybe maybe they will get sent

(19:18):
to juvenile prison, you know, the detention center, the juvenile prison,
maybe until they're eighteen, and then they will be reviewed
and maybe you have to stay in there for like
another five years. Maybe that's a hard hardcore maybe. So

(19:41):
the students, people said, people, other parents have asked me, well,
people are concerned that the students, maybe you only got
ten days of suspension, and I said, that's that's normal,
that part's normal, But Brett, only ten days. Actually, in
the world that we're living now in Mecklimbore County with

(20:02):
the magistrates and the judges with the ridiculous stuff that
they're doing by letting criminals on the street, willy nilly.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
But the reason that's normal, or it makes sense.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
If a teacher is accused of something, or somebody who
works in an accountant's office is accused of something, what happens.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
You suspend them.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Either with pay or without pay while the investigation is
going on. You don't immediately fire the person. Right, So
the students have been suspended from what parents are saying,
and they'll they'll be suspended and then the investigation will
be going on. You would think that the investigation would

(20:48):
be wrapped up by next week.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
You would think we'll see no guarantee. But you would think, so.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
That's normal that they're suspended for ten days and then
if they believe that a sexual assault did occur, then
they would be obviously expelled and would be sent potentially
to juvenile prison. But considering the judges and the magistrates,
people can have a gun, student can actually bring a

(21:22):
gun to school, and there's a fifty to fifty chance
that by the end of the day that student is
back at home. No, you might have a leg monitor
or whatever, but he's released back to the custody of
their guardian.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah, yeah, felony gun. Here, you're back, You're back out.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
By the end of the night, you're released to the
custody of your guardian. So maybe that happens with these
particular cases. Wouldn't surprise me.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
So it's it's going to be interesting to see.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
If charges are brought. It's going to be interesting to see.
And so I, you know, I don't know what, what,
if anything, will happen to the person that posted it online.

(22:21):
Maybe something happens to them, I don't know, excuse me.
So that's where we are investigations underway Title nine CMS.
But that standard like okay whatever, more importantly criminal investigations
by the police department.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
And again.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
CMS will say, well, we can't do it because it's
student information. Okay, Well just remember that the next time
you want to promote one of your students for doing
this or doing that or just remember that you can't
do that like a gun. And when a student brings
a gun to school, and you always confirm that, right,
that's student information, is it not?

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
But once again CMS, don't listen to anyone else. Just
listen to us, even though we're not telling you anything.
That is CMS in a nutshell. That last email is CMS.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
In a nutshell.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
All right, everyone, when we come back to Carolina Panthers,
they're on the road this weekend at the New York Jets,
the worst team in the NFL. Can the Panthers get
their fourth without a season? We'll find out new Just

(23:41):
Talk eleven ten and ninety nine to three WBT Brentjenson
here with you for a few more minutes on this
Friday night before we send you off into the weekend.
Seven oh four five, seven eleven ten. As always as
the telephone numbers, that's also the WBT text line, which
of course is driven by Liberty Buick GMC. And again
I say this all the time, you really need to

(24:02):
be following me on x at Brett's Underscore Jensen for
all the letters to breaking news in and around the
Charlotte area. Okay, So Carolina Panthers off a big, big
win against those Dallas Cowboys at home.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
If the Panthers all their games they've won at home,
all the games on the road, they've gotten smoked, like
not even close. This game is on the road and
it's against a very very bad team as the Panthers
travel to play the New York Jets and god forsaken
Northern New Jersey at the Meadowlands. But they're playing the Jets.

(24:38):
The Jets are the worst team in the NFL by far.
They are winless and so hopefully maybe we'll see the
Carolina Panthers can get their first win on the road,
and if they do, that means the Carolina Panthers will
be four and three on the year.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
That's a huge, huge significant, like that's very very big.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
So earlier in the week, head coach of the Carolina
p There's Dave Canal, has met with the media to
talk about this upcoming game, and really everyone wants to know,
what are you going to do with Rico Daddo, who's
literally setting like NFL records and stuff like that, and
what are you going to do with him? You know,
with Chuba Hubbard being back and healthy, Like who's going
to be the starting running back because we know what

(25:18):
Cuba is doing, because Cuba is getting paid a ton
of money, but Rico Daddo is setting records.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
Beautiful opportunity for the guys. Get back out there and
get ready to you know, have our nice walk through tomorrow,
get on a plane and take this show on the road.
Guys are really focused and they're excited about this opportunity.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Yes, I mean on Sunday, Yes he is.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
Yeah, he looked great, had a solid week of practice.
We'll have Cuba and Rico back there, Trevor and be
able to just utilize both of those guys help the
Panthers coach.

Speaker 7 (25:48):
You talked about next man up on the outside linebacker,
who shifts in the Princely's place as the number four
and come or perhaps Booviye.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
Yeah, they're both available. They've both been practicing and ready
for that role. So excited for those guys to get
an opportunity to help us as well.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
DJ Johnson next week, could he be a quick fix.
I know he visited the Packers on Tuesday, but I'm
not sure that he's signed.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Could be, could be?

Speaker 6 (26:12):
You know, we're gonna look at some guys and take
all options into consideration.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
Of how much of the old Schuba Rico thing right
now figuring.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
Out Walt will work in terms of utilizing both guys
in a game plan.

Speaker 6 (26:25):
Oh, just counting on both guys to execute when they're
in there, and it allows me to just call the
next play. I don't have to really overthink, you know,
who's in the game as far as what we want
to execute in the run game, in the past game.
So just excited about the opportunity to have both guys
help us.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
Is a situation, you know, you'll you'll start out with
a plan and then you'll ride the hotter hand.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Is that what do you think will happen?

Speaker 6 (26:44):
We'll see on Sunday what happened with Damian. Yeah, just
a shoulder injury chess. We weren't sure exactly what that
what that was, but we did the four work up,
did imaging and all that, and so we'll just take
a look at him again today this afternoon tomorrow, and
it'll be data day really to make a decision whether
he can help us on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
No, whether he'll make the trip.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
He'll make the trip, certainly, but you know whether his
what his availability is on Sunday, We'll kind of have
to make that a game time decision. We'd love to
have Dlu out there. We got to do the best
thing for him, best thing for the team, Dave.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
If the if Damien can't go, that'll mean that y'all
have had six different starting combinations along the offensive line
this year. How does that? How does that impact the
chemistry of the line and your offense as a whole.

Speaker 6 (27:29):
It's a real compliment to the preparation of this group
and guys that keep stepping in and doing the job
well and attribute to the coaches to prepare the guys
and be ready. And that's that's what it requires in
this league. You got to be focused and locked in.
And sometimes guys don't get all the reps in the
week and something may happen in the week, you know
where they have to be prepared to do that, and
so it calls on that focus. It's a great reminder

(27:50):
for the whole group, you know, to just keep working
as if you're going to have to play, and to
have that kind of mentality is really important for us.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Is there any possibility that Brandon Willton could be activated
to the fifty three. I think his practice quaest standard
elevations are up and he has played at that guard
position before, So is there any possibility that he could
be activated this week?

Speaker 6 (28:11):
There's a possibility. And we also we also have Nick
Sammick who got from Baltimore and then Jake Kurhan who
came from Arizona. So guys that we've been preparing, and
Brandon got in there too. He took some reps this
week as well, So we have all the guys prepared
and ready to go, and we'll make the best decision
going forward.

Speaker 7 (28:27):
What about Corbett potentially playing.

Speaker 6 (28:29):
Guard, Yeah, that's a great one. You know, he's got
a lot of flexibility. Was his first position really was
playing guard, you know, so he gives us an opportunity
to be able to put him in there and place
some guard. And then you also have another center on
game day, so another possibility there.

Speaker 7 (28:44):
On plum return, are you comfortable with Trevor back in
is the top option?

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Absolutely, We're counting on Trevor to fill those balls and
make sure that we're taking advantage of the of all
the hidden yardage and special teams. Right catching it is
the first point. Let's make sure we do that and
then he's a special runner and we're looking for or
to him taking it, taking advantage of those opportunities.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
Cocher definitely going to be active Sunday.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Yes, Coker will be up and he's ready to go.
He had a great week, so we're looking forward to
him being up on Sunday.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Well, he awful field Punts'll be the safe returner.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Who's that he could be?

Speaker 6 (29:15):
Yeah, he's been practicing it all through the spring, all
through camp, so he could be a logo punt type
of guy. But right now we want to give Trevor
the opportunity to touch the ball and make an impact
for our team.

Speaker 7 (29:25):
Dave, it's the team hasn't won on the road yet.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Bryce is had his share of struggles on the road.
Is there a sense of, Hey, we're playing really good football, like,
let's just get this, let's just get this over with,
like our first win this season the road.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
We look at every game as the as great opportunities,
as championship opportunities, and I don't want the guys focus
to shift on anything extra. If we're giving extra attention,
that means we weren't giving enough attention before. That can't
be the approach, the approaches, all these are so important
for us, and the challenge, the opportunity for us is
to take the focus and process and the preparation and

(30:03):
make it come alive. I do know one thing that's
really important when you're on the road is the energy
comes from us. It's about poise, it's about resilience. It's
about that focus that it requires to go series in
and series out, make adjustments and just keep playing ball.
You don't have the fans at your back. It's always
got to come from us first, from the coaches and
the players working together, communicating together. So we have a
great opportunity to do that this week.

Speaker 7 (30:26):
And we got to ask the question, I mean, have
you made a decision who will start a running back
or who will get the bulk.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Of carries we have?

Speaker 6 (30:31):
And I'll say is both guys will help us, and
we'll make sure that happens by the end of the game.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
And you had said this week you were going to
look at kind of how y'all did things on the road.

Speaker 7 (30:40):
Are you going to make any changes with the operations
at all?

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Yeah, just some subtle tweaks, some things that we talked
about collectively. Jeff Brown and I talking to other staff
members who have been around a long time, and I
just think it's worth competing, it's worth finding it, trying
to find another edge, a way to get the guys
comfortable making it, try to fill us close to home
as possible, you know, And I just, you know, I
can't help but think about some of the teams and

(31:04):
the challenges that they face. You know, you talk about
some of the teams around the league who play on
Monday night, Sunday night, Thursday night, and their routine gets
screwed up all the time. But it's the ability to focus.
It's the ability to prepare in the week in different modes,
not just when you're on the road, you know, in
a normal you know, playing Sunday to Sunday, which has
been our rhythm. So this this we have to be

(31:26):
able to just take our process, trust that it works,
and then go and.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Execute a couple of those tweets.

Speaker 6 (31:32):
I'll keep that house, but just just some stuff to
look at and stuff that I've talked to the players
about also, and just being prepared for some little subtle
changes that may, you know, put us in more of
our comfort zone, just like we do at home.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
All right, everyone that's going to do it for us
tonight and this week. Thanks to all the big time
guests that joined me this week and again, I hope
everyone enjoyed it and looking forward to doing this all.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
Over again on Monday.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Have a great weekend, everyone, enjoy yourself and look forward
to seeing you then. My name is Brett Jensen, and

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
