Tune in here to this Friday's edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen!

Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off, being joined by fellow WBT host Brett Winterble to discuss RNC Chair Michael Whatley’s exclusive interview and the growing political buzz surrounding North Carolina’s 2026 Senate race.

Whatley emphasizes the importance of electing strong conservative leaders aligned with former President Trump’s agenda, including border security, economic growth, and restoring American strength at home and abroad. The conversation highlights North Carolina’s unique position as a bellwether state, characterized by its strong military presence, agricultural heritage, and vibrant business community. Whatley criticizes the Democratic Party’s policies as radical and out of step with everyday Americans, while praising Republican efforts to deliver on promises.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hi, Oh, let's go I oh, let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Oh, let's go. Oh.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Come the punchbog eleven, ten ninety nine three WBT Bretty,
that's in here with you on this ridiculously hot Friday
version of Breaking with Brett Jensen as we go up
until seven o'clock tonight seven oh four or five, seven
oh eleven ten, and make sure you follow me on
accept Brett Underscore Jensen for all the latest and breaking
news in and around the Charlotte area.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
And Isaac is over over there manning the WBT text line,
which is also driven by Liberty Buick GMC and is
the exact same number as the phone number to call in.
So all right, so you guys know, almost exactly to
the minute. Three hours ago, Michael Watley did a phone
interview with the one and only Brett Warnable and it

(01:13):
was one of those situations where obviously Michael Wally has
been in a lot of not just North Carolina news,
but national news for the last several days or so,
I mean really for the last couple of months. I mean,
if you remember, I asked Michael Wally about if he's
interested in running for office back in the first week
of June when he was at the NCGOP convention, because

(01:34):
those were the hot and heavy rumors. So Winnable decided
and he's graced me. And I mean it cost me
twenty five bucks, but he's agreed to stick around for
an extra fifteen minutes or eight ten minutes or so.
So when you went into the interview because it's the
National exclusive with Michael Waltley concerning North Carolina and Trump
last night, after I got off air, endorsed him, and

(01:56):
you know, put all this stuff out about Michael Watley
and being a great guy and right from Carolina. I honestly,
I don't know why I thought this, but I thought
he would go. You know, Brad, after President Trump last
night endorsed me, I'm ready to go. And I don't
know why I expected that.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, I mean, look, I think that there are a
lot of you know, eyes to dot and tease to cross.
You got to you have to work with the structure
on a number of different things in that regard. You've
got to put together a campaign if that's if that's
what's going to come to pass as we would expect.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
You also have duties at the.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
R n C.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
You've got President Trump being out of the country right now,
over and over at in Scotland.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
He went over to Scotland.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
So I think that's they want to put together. I
think a big a big stem wind and probably an
endorsement straight up in that in that seat.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
And the other thing I thought of was, well, maybe
they're just waiting to Cooper officially announces as well.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Oh that's interesting, you know, because he's not he is
not officially announced.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
He is not officially announced, you know, like a day
one day prior to the Michael Wattley's story coming out
on Politico, which was Wednesday. When Thursday, yesterday yesterday morning? Yeah,
well on Wednesday, the Roy Cooper came out on Axios
and I said, if anyone's going to break it, of
course it was.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Actually it's Axio.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, of course it was going to makes sense, right,
And so so Axos broke their story Wednesday about Cooper saying, oh,
he's going to announce next week, and then political comes
out yesterday morning and go, oh, Walley's going to announce
next week, right, And so I just wasn't sure if
since we're in North Carolina, sure, we're in Charlotte, that
maybe he would drop it, but he didn't drop he
didn't drop that big announcement. And I thought his interview

(03:47):
with you was very fascinating where he said, well, North
Carolina needs this, North Calin needs this, and you go, well,
you've already checked two boxes. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Well, I mean because I was, I'm trying to push
right and I've got by the way, the calender was
sitting in here with me and and he's, you know,
I'm going, I got to push on this thing. Got
a little bit and so we we we eventually kind
of we met in the middle and then we kind
of went to you know the other stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Well, I love your opening line. So what's been going
on the last couple of weeks?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
How's it going?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Anything? Anything going on with you?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I mean, that's that's that's all you got.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
And you know, look, one of the things that I
that I was impressed by was something that you were
doing last night when you were going back to Gaston
County and you were talking with with the different people
that knew him so well, know him so well, and
I think listening to the way you structured that interview

(04:43):
and with that what was being said, uh on that
on that line I thought was very interesting because he
is obviously a very methodical person. He crosses the eyes
and grusses the t's and dots the eyes, and so
I think he is somebody who's who wants to make
sure everything is tied down and is ready to go.
And so I think that it makes a lot of

(05:05):
sense that this is what's happening.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, I mean, UNCC graduate sure from Wataka County, which
is where Boone's located, has lived in Gastonia since nineteen
ninety eight. But even since then, with all the things,
he was on the trunck on the George Bush Junior's
legal team for the Hanging Chads in Florida. He was
the chief of staff for Senator Elizabeth Dole for you
know those years up in DC, and then you know,

(05:30):
was on the Trump team in twenty sixteen and then
the RNC or excuse me, the NCGP in twenty nineteen
until twenty twenty four when he moved to DC to
be head of the RC. But I mean even from
ninety nine to two thousand and one, he was vice
chair of the guest in GOP. Sure, you know, and
unlike many people, he doesn't forget where he started, right,

(05:56):
you can't say that about athletes, you can't say that
about Hollywood actors, you can't even say that about politicians.
Like he's still very close to many, many, many people
in Gastonia.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Sure, yeah, I mean that's absolutely right.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
And you know, one of the things that I'm very
curious about should this come to pass in both sides,
right where you've got Cooper definitely going and him definitely
being in the in the race, you know, Cooper's going
to have a difficult time with a number of different issues,
but not the least of which is where's he's been
spending time.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
In the last couple of weeks. Harvard, very unpopular institution.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yes, it is teaching classes at Harvard, at Harvard, at Harvard,
And I remember when.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I'm not helping in Western No, no, he did none
of that.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
But I remember when I saw that he was at
Harvard teaching classes. I said, sort of like axios. Of
course it was going to be Harvard, right that a Columbia.
It was going to be one of the two. There
you go, it was gonna be Columbia or Harvard. Yeah,
it was one of the two. Well, like I said,
I appreciate you sticking around. I do want to ask
you one quick question before she just kicking it over
to Pam. I want to ask you about everyone is saying,

(07:02):
especially on the Republican side and some of the Democrats
that I've spoken to, that they expect this to be
the most expensive Senate race in American history, and that
each candidate will probably need to have bare bones minimum
five hundred million, close to seven hundred and fifty million
dollars yeah, to run this campaign, and that there's going
to be so much outside money coming in because the

(07:23):
Democrats think they have a chance to flip this seat.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Look, I think I think it's gonna be a massive number,
and I think it's going to very likely be because
it's such a hard fought state.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
You know, it's gonna be hard. The only other place.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
That I can see where you might see a lot
of money going into it in a big way is
over in Texas. Because you've got Ted Cruz, and you've
got the fight with Correy Cornyn, and you've got all
the stuff that's going on at place is going to
be sucking up a lot of money. But the question
becomes North Carolina drives the national narrative in a way

(07:59):
Texas doesn't even do.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
So this is going to be a huge fight.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
And as much as Democrats think they can flip North Carolina,
Republicans think they can flip Georgia.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
And by the way, there is a likability factor in this,
and I think that that this is somebody who's running.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
I mean, you've got someone who is generally likable and
someone who I call a rice cake or melble toast
is just bland as bland can be. Like it's it's
a rice cake. That's that's that's what. That's who the
governor was for eight years, the one that would the
one that wouldn't take my question for fourteen months. I
remember that fourteen months won't take my questions? All right, Seriously,

(08:34):
I really appreciate you sticking around for the especially on
a Friday night of all nights.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
It's a great it's a great pleasure, and I just
want to say thanks so much and breaking Bretchens and
you are you are, you are my hero.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Get in line, all right, So when we come back,
we'll play the interview with Michael Watley and Brett when.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
What are we done with this?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Since it's just a bed with Tom is never made
much sad welcome back to Breaking with Brad Jensen on
this Friday Night, Hot Friday Night, seven oh four, five,
seven eleven ten. All right, everyone, Warable once again, thanks

(09:31):
for joining us to stick around in the extra ten
to fifteen minutes or so. I do appreciate that. So
I'm gonna go ahead and tell everyone in the newsroom
that we are gonna be late because I hope you're listening,
because we're gonna be late because I am playing the
Michael Watley Interview right now.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I am honored to be welcoming to the program somebody
whose work I've admired for a long time and I
consider him as a as a bright light in North
Carolina and beyond, and he is the RNC chair Michael
Watley joining us here today.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Chairman Watley, it's great to have you on the program.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
It is always good to be on with you, Brett.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
So, you know, I'm just sitting back here.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
It's a very hot afternoon, it's a Friday, and I'm
just sort of ruminating and wondering, so what's new with you?

Speaker 5 (10:23):
You know, I got to say we are in a
position right now where we're contemplating what's going to happen
next with the United States Senate seat. And you know,
I think that as a Republican we are in a
really really good position to be able to win that seat.
But we are going to have to find a conservative

(10:46):
who is very very close with President Trump and who
is absolutely allied to his vision for making America great again,
which is a strong country. It's a strong border, it's
a strong economy, and it's a strong standing in the world.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Okay, and I I've just checked off two different boxes
right there in that conversation with you.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Uh, you seem to fit the model for that, my friend.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I mean, this is this is something that is fascinating
and obviously something that that could be a game changer,
uh coming up in this next election.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Look, I think that you know, there there really is
an opportunity here in North Carolina, uh for us to
elect an ally of the president. Uh and and somebody
who understands, uh, you know that that North Carolina families,
in North Carolina communities need a strong country, uh, and
they need a strong state. You know, when you think

(11:45):
about you know, North Carolina with our agricultural community, with
the banking and business community that we have in Charlotte,
you know the fact that we have more soldiers and
veterans and military families than any other state in the country.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
You know, this is a unique day, but it's also
a microcosm of the entire country.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
And we need uh to have leadership in Washington that
is going to fight for North Carolina values. And if
you look at the Democratic Party right now, right here
in North Carolina, they're putting their arm around the Democratic
Party nationally.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
And it really truly is, you know, an open borders,
inflationary spending, anti Semitic week, America week, North Carolina party.

Speaker 6 (12:27):
That's not where the North Carolina voters are.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
So as you as you look at the landscape across
the country, you've got the big, the great, big, beautiful
bill that has that passed. You're seeing historic moves that
are being made, not just in the economy, but also
with a sense of people in the United States feeling
like the country is getting stronger again. Immigration is a

(12:51):
huge issue. All of those sorts of things. How do
you kind of codify all that sort of stuff when
when you're doing the work not just in your office
and not just with the President of the United States,
but also the folks down ballot, who are going to
have to hold that line when it comes to twenty

(13:13):
twenty six. What are we looking at here, mister chairman.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Well, look, I think that the voters in twenty four
elected President Trump a Republican House and a Republican Senate
with a mandate to make America great again, right to
rebuild our economy, to restore the southern border, to make
sure that our kids in communities are safe, and that
America is going to.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Be strong again.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
And so what we have seen from the President is
he is delivering every single day on that agenda. And
we've also seen Congress and the Senate step up and
pass the Big Beautiful Bill, which is really truly the
legislative embodiment of this agenda. And as long as Republicans
are delivering for the American people on the issues that

(13:56):
they care about, the Republicans are going to be in
a much stronger position than the Democrats who are really
trying to take this country off a cliff to the left,
and they are really truly working every day against the
interests of their own constituents and voters.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
And certainly that's a very important idea right there, right
the idea of them going further and further radical. Whether
it's in New York City, or whether it's in Raleigh,
or whether it's on the West Coast or any of
these other places. These folks seem to think that the
answer is revolution, revolution, revolution, as opposed to prosperity and

(14:34):
the things that matter to the average person, more money
in their pockets, safer streets, and of course obviously the
need to secure what has been brought so far. So
from the position of our NC chair, what is the
mission for you moving forward as we get through this

(14:54):
recess and then into the fall.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
Sure, you know, I think you know, from the the
rnc's perspective, it is going to be to continue, uh,
to support the President and his agenda.

Speaker 6 (15:06):
Making sure that that that we are.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Amplifying his message around the country about the promises made,
promises kept, work ethic that that he is delivering, make
sure that Congress is going to continue their support of
the President's agenda to be able to move forward. And
for myself, uh, you know, we're going to have an
announcement coming up next week, uh, and I'm very excited
about that. But you know, I think that that we

(15:30):
are in a position right here in North Carolina to
continue to be, uh, you know, a leader for the
rest of the country when it comes to winning in
battleground states and putting, you know forward a vision for
this country.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
And listen, you you you just made a big bit
of news right there. With an announcement coming next week,
Certainly this audience and certainly this radio station WBT are
are are very much excited at out this potential matchup
that may be coming in the future, because this will

(16:05):
be the I think the acid test for any of
those races out across the Fruited Plaine, as Rush would say,
And I think that that is going to be the
ultimate test, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
It really is, you know.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
I think about the agendas that President Trump and the
Republicans ran on in the last cycle, which is really
truly how to make America strong, how to make North
Carolina strong, and how to fight for every family in
every community versus the Democrats right now, who are fighting
harder for violent, criminal, illegal aliens than they are their
own constituents. They're fighting harder to be able to put

(16:40):
men in women's sports and in women's locker rooms than
they are for the girls across this country. They have
a radical, woke, out of step agenda that they're fighting
for every single day. You know, Donald Trump said it
best right. He is a common sense candidate. This is
a common sense crusade and we're going to fight for
every family across North Carolina and the country.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Listen, our NC chair Michael Wattley. It's great to talk
to you. It's great to catch up with you as
people want to learn more about the efforts there inside
the RNC, etc. Where do people go to get more
information on that?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
They can go to follow me on ax at Chairman Wattley.
They also can follow the RNC on x as well.
And look, you know, I think that we're in a
solid position right now in North Carolina and across the
country because Donald Trump is leading this party. He has
revolutionized the Republican Party. He has made sure that we're

(17:38):
going to be a party for every community, for every family,
and we are going to make America great again.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
We certainly appreciate your time. We know how busy you are.
We wish you all the best and look forward to
catching up with you again. The door is always open,
my friend. Thank you so much for being.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
Here, excellent, Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Brett, you got it absolutely.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
That is the RNC chair, Michael Wattley, joining us here
today and it is a pleasure to be with him.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
All right. So that was mister Winnable speaking with mister Wattley.
And at the very end of like when they hang
up and Winnable is going, well, you know you've already
checked two of the boxes there, big mic. So anyways,
all right, really great stuff and you're not going to

(18:25):
hear him speak anywhere else in the entire country except
that interview right there. Welcome back to News Talk eleven

(18:57):
ten and ninety nine three a WBT Brett Jensen here
with the you on this steamy Friday night. Ninety six
degrees and feels like one hundred and two according to
the Weather Channel app. That's always good. And by the way,
next week is supposed to be triple digits according to
one local TV station down the hall, five straight days
with the heat in decks around one hundred and ten.

(19:18):
So we'll see what happens. I know that, you know,
I am not generally the one to tell you what's
going on with the weather, because you have eyes, or
you have ears, or you have both. If it's raining,
you can probably generally hear it. It's thundering and lightning,
you can probably generally hear it. If it's really really
windy outside, you can probably generally hear it. So you know,

(19:41):
I just or you can see it one or the
other or both. And the only thing I'll say and
not the only thing that I ever say about the weather, honestly,
is especially during the winter, when people will leave their animals. Well,

(20:03):
it's an outdoor cat, it's an outdoor dog. Like it's
getting down to twenty one degrees. Really, that's what you're doing.
Or it's gonna be one hundred over one hundred heat
in decks like ten straight days. If you're bring your
dog into the garage, bring your dog into the house,

(20:24):
you know, leave them in the kitchen, leave her in
the kitchen, or better yet, let them sleep in your
bedroom for once. How about them apples. If you don't
let your dog in your house, you should not have
a dog, period. You shouldn't be allowed to get a dog.
If you don't leave your let your dog in your house,
shouldn't be allowed to have a dog. If your dog
doesn't go in your house, nope, And your dog can't

(20:46):
be tied up to a chain or a rope. That's inhumane.
Let me tie your ass up to a chain or
a rope. Let me say how much you like it.
Put you out in a tree with like a little
flimsy water bowl that you're probably gonna kick over. God,
Like I said, that's the one thing that annoys me
about the weather. What I have to tell you bring
your pets inside because it's too cold or it's too hot.

(21:08):
Because I don't know if you know this, and sometimes
you may not recognize this, but there are a lot
of absolute dumbass morons in this world right here in Charlotte,
Gason County, Union County, York County, Lancaster County, Irodale County,
Cabaris County, Lincoln County, all around. No one's immune. They're

(21:33):
having a bunch of dumbasses when it comes to dealing
with their pets. So and other situations just life. People
that struggle making right decisions in life or common sense
decisions in life. Hey, you know what, it'd be cool,
Isaac if we went down to like one hundred and

(21:53):
twenty miles an hour down this dirt road. Let's try that, Okay,
And that's the uh, you know, the Darwinism where you, uh,
you know, only the strong survive, eliminate the weak ones.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
You could have just said natural selection.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Well, eliminate, I like eliminate life eliminates them because of stupidity.
And here's the thing, And I know this sounds horrible,
but I don't care. It's almost like it's almost like good. Good,
You're less dangerous around all the other people around you

(22:40):
because of the choices that you make are so stupid
a lot of times, or moronic. You're no longer endangering
those around you. Good. That tree has got your name
written all over it.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Good is crazy, good is wild.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
I mean, I don't. I don't have sympathy for those people.
I don't. I just all the like or like all
the gen z s or the millennials that were like
doing crazy thing walking on the edges of skyscrapers while
trying to like take selfies or do live you know,
TikTok videos or live Facebook feeds or Instagram feeds, and
then you fall over the edge. Natural selection, that stupidity.

(23:22):
As one less stupid person in this world. I just
don't have sympathy for them. I don't. If you put
yourself in that look, and we're all stupid when we're young. Like, dude,
I did so many stupid things, Like my movie My
life was like the movie The Hangover, Like that was
my life up until I was about thirty, Like my

(23:43):
life was The Hangover. And I'd always have people go, Brett,
you you really need to be writing all this down.
I was like, I know, someone wants told me, Sai, Brett,
your life's a sitcom. I said, no, I know, I know,
And that's and I was told that in nineteen ninety seven.
For God's sakes, think about all the stupiditing that's happened
since then.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
You were older than thirty and ninety seven, though, weren't you.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
No Oh, nope, nope, nope, nope, twenty nine, twenty eight,
twenty nine, depending on what half of the year you
fell in twenty eight twenty nine. Yep, process of elimination.
This is crazy. This is crazy. Welcome back to Breaking

(24:41):
with Brett Jensen on this Friday night. Just a few
more minutes here, we got about old six and a
half cent of minutes to go seven oh four, five, seven,
eleven ten. So I'm about to go see a concert.
Trying to think of the last time oh. Actually, the
last time I saw a concert was Sammy Hagar, actually

(25:02):
who I got to interview not too long ago at
the airport. Got to hang out with him a little bit.
But I saw him when I was in Rick Hendrick's
boxes at the Sammy Hagar concert. And then also yeah,
also now I think about it, last year, I saw
all the food fighters last year. Now think about it.
So tonight we're gonna go see the Goo Goo Dolls.

(25:27):
They're what fifteenth row Dead Center, So looking forward to that.
Buddy mine hooked me up with those, so I'll be
using those tonight, looking forward to it. Back in god,
almost exactly twenty years maybe twenty years ago this year
I had like their Greatest Hits CD. So it's been

(25:51):
twenty years. Interesting. Well, like I said, it's only currently
the heat Indecks is one hundred and two degrees them
opening bands starts at seven thirty. It's an outdoor show,
so that's gonna make it fun, a little hot, little steamy. Yeah,

(26:12):
that's that's uh. Get ready to go have the the
seventy five dollars beers generally the beer Now, will I
will say this, I will say this, I think the
beer people there at like the venues, I think they
get a bad rap a little bit, because yes, the
beers will cost what fifteen dollars, sixteen dollars something like that,

(26:35):
but usually they're twenty or twenty four ounces, so it'd
be like an eight dollars beer or a seven dollar
beer if you divide it by two. Now, I will
say the PGA Championship. In years past, they were getting
complaining because you're getting, you know, your your regular twelve
ounce beer for fifteen dollars at the PGA Championship, which

(26:58):
was interesting to say the least. People constantly complaining about that.
But I wonder when, if and when people and venues
and events are going to start going the way of
the PGA Championship. This was the first year at the
pg Championship where your ticket included all drinks and all

(27:21):
food one hundred percent free. Now, granted, they raised the
ticket prices I don't know, like fifty sixty bucks per person,
but you didn't have to wait in line. You just
walked in, got what you wanted, and walked out and
it was awesome. Now, alcohol was not included in that,
but you wonder if something like that will start happening

(27:44):
with panther games or concerts, just so you know, the
lines go much faster and you don't have to wait
that you just go in. You Yeah, So, let's just
say you spend two hundred fifty dollars on a concert ticket,
which seems to be cheap nowadays, which is amazing to
me because of all the fees Ticketmaster throw on it.

(28:05):
Let's say you spend two hundred fifty dollars per person,
that's five hundred dollars. Well, if that came now with
your food and your drinks but not including alcohol, Okay,
not bad, but because I know the food is going
to be so expensive over there. Hell, I ate a
frozen pizza, like at like four point thirty five o'clock,
just so I wouldn't want to like start chowing on

(28:27):
some burgers an eighty seven dollars burgerar or a hot
dog over there that's truly going to be like fifteen
dollars for a hot dog. So anyways, looking forward to tonight,
although it is going to be steamy, I want you
to pay attention to what's happening in the media nationally

(28:49):
because the FCC just granted sky Dance to purchase Paramount Plus,
and while CNN is getting ready for Laus because they
just hired a guy not long ago to be in
charge of all their finances and decision makings. They brought him.

(29:12):
He's basically known as as a headhunter. Companies hire this
guy to make cuts. And that's why Anderson Cooper is
about to leave. He just he's like, you know what,
I got to find an agent. So he's signed up
with a brand new agency, and all these other people
are getting ready, like Jake Tapper. I cannot wait for
the day Jake Tapper, and that really Pully Brian Stelter

(29:35):
is gone. Cannot wait till Brian Stelter's gone At CNN. Well,
guess what's happening Barry Weiss. Some call her down the middle,
maybe down the middle with a slight lean left. I'm
not sure. She's been on Joe Rogan a lot. And
she left the media because she thought it was too

(29:57):
woke and too liberal, and she started her own her
own social media outlets and news sources and internet sites
and stuff. And it's been valued at two hundred million.
And Skydance, which just bought Paramount Slash CBS is buying

(30:18):
it for two hundred million, and they're going to make
her in control of CBS News and she's immediately going
to start getting ready. Leslie stall See, you wouldn't want
to be yet. You never apologize to Donald Trump, and
you should have. Scott Pelly. That disastrous and disgusting thing.

(30:39):
That graduation speech you gave at wake Forest was inexcusable.
Gone my favorite of all time, maybe my favorite acts
of all time. That's probably going to happen, and I
say probably, Gail King. You only got the job because
of your fat little friend. The only reason you got

(30:59):
the job. You had no discernible talent. They hired you
for ten million dollars a year because, oh, she's gonna
have access to Oprah. Your best friend's Oprah, which is
the only reason you got the job, Just because they
thought you would be able to interview Oprah and Oprah
would be on CBS when she left her show. It's
the only reason you got that job. If your best

(31:21):
friend is someone named Gertie, you're not getting that job.
I know they don't make Gerties anymore either, but my
point is you literally only got that job for one
simple reason. Barry Weiss female, by the way, ba r I.
I believe it is a bare I think or Bari.
She's going to come in there. She's probably early forties,

(31:44):
forty years old, and she's going to be swinging the hammer.
Let's install. You're gone, Scott Pelly, you're gone, Gail King,
You're gone. Margaret Brennan, who's a disaster and gets embarrassed
every single week on this Sunday talk shows by somebody
because she's really a very unintelligent person and someone else

(32:05):
is having to write the questions for her because she's
so unintelligent, You're probably gone. I cannot wait to see
the hammer fly at CBS. All right, everyone, that's gonna
do it for us tonight. I really appreciate everyone listening
this week. It's been a week. Holy moly, has it
been a week. And I already got news for you,
Like the next two or three days next week are
already lined up with like a lot, a lot of stuff.

(32:26):
So I'll look forward to sharing that information with you then.
So until Monday, everyone, my name is Brett Jenson, and
you've been listening to Breaking with Brett Jenson.
