Le 15 août dernier, le Bel 20 a battu son record de 2007. Il aura donc fallu pas moins de dix-huit ans à l'indice phare de la Belgique pour effacer la trace laissée par la crise financière mondiale de 2008.
Alors, la Bourse de Bruxelles a-t-elle définitivement tourné la page de la crise? Pourquoi a-t-il fallu aussi longtemps pour que le Bel 20 retrouve son niveau d’avant 2008? Et surtout, quelles ambitions nourrit la Bourse de Bruxelles pour les années à venir?
Le Bel 20 est un indice boursier de référence en Belgique. Comme le CAC 40 en France ou le DAX en Allemagne, il regroupe les 20 plus grandes entreprises cotées à Bruxelles. Sa progression - ou sa chute - reflète la confiance des investisseurs dans les grandes sociétés belges et, plus largement, dans l’économie nationale.
