Karen Read was found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe, during her 2025 retrial. The case stemmed from a 2022 incident in which prosecutors alleged she struck O’Keefe with her SUV and left him in the snow during a blizzard.
