Hey, team Glenaes are here. Welcome back to the Building
for a Humane Project podcast. Today we're going to dive
into part one of a three part series on something
that doesn't just support your personal development, it powers it,
and that is your physical health. So let's start here.
Your body is the vehicle that carries your goals, your purpose,
and your legacy. You don't get a spare and you

(00:30):
don't get a do over. But here's the problem. Most
people treat their body like it's some afterthought. They go
hard in business, parenting, building dreams, but the machine that's
running it all, they ignore it, abuse it, numb it.
Imagine owning a high performance sports car that's sleek, powerful,
built for the long road and filling it with low

(00:51):
grade fuel, skipping services and thrashing it day after day.
You wouldn't do that, right, But that's how many people
treat their bodies. Then wonder why they're tired, foggy, uninspired, anxious, sick.
It's not a motivation issue, it's a maintenance issue. Your
brain doesn't function at its best when you're not moving.

(01:12):
Your mood takes a hit when your guts off, Your
discipline fades, when your energy is crashing. So let's reframe this.
Going to the gym that's not just for your body,
that's for your clarity, Eating real good food, that's just
about not just about weight, it's about focus, prioritizing sleep.
It's not lazy. As a leadership this week, I want

(01:35):
you to shift from I have to work out to
I get to take care of the only vessel that
I've got. Start small, Move your body with intention every day,
twenty minutes, walk, stretch, train, whatever gets the blood moving
and the mind clear, Drink more water. Cut one thing
that's been draining energy. You know what it is, because

(01:56):
your body isn't separate from your dreams. It's the only
thing that can carry them. And if you're serious about
building better humans, you've got to start with the foundation,
which is your health.
