Most people wait for a diagnosis to change their habits.
High Blood Pressure? Now they eat clean.
Doctors Warn them? Now they hit the gym.
But by then, you're already playing catch up.

What's up Team Glenn here and welcoming you back to
the Building Better Humans Project podcast. This is part two
of our three part series on physical health, and today
we're getting into the mindset shift that can change everything
of court. This episode discipline over diagnosis. So let's break
that down. See, most people wait for a breakdown before
they change. They wait for the warning signs to become symptoms.

(00:32):
Then they panic, I should have started eating better. I
knew I needed to get more sleep. The doctor said,
if I don't change, it's only going to get worse.
That's a reactive cycle. But high performers, builders, leaders' visionaries
don't wait for breakdowns. They build with intention. They prevent
the pain before it arrives. Discipline is the insurance policy

(00:52):
against regret. And no, this doesn't mean you need to
be perfect, but it does mean you stop negotiating with
your health. It's easy to skip the workout, it's easy
to grab the fast food, it's easy to start up scrolling,
but it's also easy to wake up tired, sluggish, anxious,
and disconnected from the person that you want to be.

(01:12):
So what's harder being disciplined today or dealing with the
physical and emotional costs later. We don't build strong bodies
just to look good. We do it to lead well,
to show up with energy for our families, to push
our limits, to prove to ourselves that we can live
with intention. If you're chasing big goals but neglecting your health,

(01:33):
you're building on a shaky foundation. Eventually, I promise you
it'll crack. So here's the core for this week. Pick
one area to tighten up. Movement, food, sleep, alcohol, screen time.
Just pick one. Lock it in for seven days, not
for a six pack, not for the gram, for your energy,

(01:54):
your longevity, your life, because in the long term, building
better humans health is the ultimate advantage.
