Em entrevista ao Café com Política, o presidente do Instituto de Previdência dos Servidores do Estado de Minas Gerais (IPSEMG), André dos Anjos, afirmou que o órgão deve fechar 2025 sem déficit e com sustentabilidade financeira garantida por pelo menos cinco anos. Desde a mudança nas regras de contribuição, o IPSEMG perdeu cerca de 4 mil beneficiários, mas o impacto na arrecadação, segundo ele, foi “irrisório”.
André não descarta, no entanto, novas mudanças nas regras de contribuição no futuro, a depender da evolução tecnológica e dos custos de assistência. Entre os investimentos previstos, o presidente destacou a reabertura da Ala B do Hospital Governador Israel Pinheiro (HGIP) em 2026 e a ampliação da rede credenciada, que deverá dobrar de valor até o fim do ano, com novos prestadores e aumento do teto de contratos.
