Inês de Sousa Real quer que a violação passe a ser um crime público e aponta para uma "total distorção do Código Penal", uma vez que os crimes de colarinho branco têm penas muito mais pesadas e o próprio crime de dano face as “sistemáticas penas suspensas” aplicadas aos crimes de violação ou violência doméstica. Admite que tem sido “difícil” o diálogo com o Governo da AD, mas compromete-se a continuar a ser uma “força útil para a democracia”, dialogando com todas os partidos (exceto o Chega) para fazer avançar as suas causas.
