No primeiro Conselho de Ministros em plenitude de funções, o XXV Governo Constitucional aprovou alterações à lei da nacional e à lei de estrangeiros que tornam mais restrito o acesso à cidadania portuguesa e também mais apertadas as regras de reagrupamento familiar. A prioridade a estas alterações já tinha sido deixada pelo primeiro-ministro no debate do programa de governo.
A Comissão Política desta semana debate as alterações à lei da nacionalidade e o discurso sobre imigração, assim como as referências de Luís Montenegro à “raça lusitana”. Mas o comissário residente David Dinis e os jornalistas Paula Caeiro Varela e João Pedro Henriques debatem também os desafios que a estratégica do PSD representa para o futuro líder do PS, que será eleito no próximo fim-de-semana.
