Why do we struggle with being present during our experiences? Does anyone else struggle to enjoy the ride? How can we be more mindful to enjoy the moment?
In this first special episode, co-host Sarah Mizuguchi jumps into the therapy chair to talk to licensed psychotherapist and co-host of Connections in Flight, Erika Paramore, about her struggles with being mindful and enjoying her path in life. Sarah is a highly successful doctor of radiology who has had an incredible career path and a job that she loves. But through all this success, and even now with a fulfilling and energizing job, Sarah struggles to enjoy it fully. Driven by fear of failure, she focuses forward instead of enjoying the now.
Listen as Erika provides advice on overcoming fears, practicing grounding techniques, and how Sarah's practical strategies to overcome her fear of flying can be applied to any situation.
