Todos os anos é a mesma coisa. Aproximamo-nos de dezembro e multiplicam-se os anúncios dos bancos e seguradoras a incentivar a mais um reforço no PPR. O argumento é o de sempre: “faça um PPR até 31 de dezembro e receba um desconto no IRS”. É verdade que existe um benefício fiscal, mas não é isso que deve orientar a sua escolha. Há milhares de portugueses a perder dinheiro por acreditarem apenas nesse argumento.
O objetivo do PPR é fazer crescer e multiplicar o seu dinheiro e não as instituições financeiras receberem o seu dinheiro, para ganharem dinheiro com ele, com comissões altíssimas, e devolvendo-lhe a si algumas migalhas e até prejuízos. Sim, há portugueses que têm PPR com capital garantido que receberam menos do que o que lá tinham posto (e é tudo legal). É escandaloso.
Fazer um PPR pode ser uma excelente opção, se o souber escolher de acordo com os seus objetivos. É aqui que entra a literacia financeira.
