the biggest games over the weekend.

then Glenn Phillips doesn't really excite you Finalen possibly because

bit of a worry for news on the next captain.

very passionate in the India Pakistan game that we were

And yeah, we love Pakistan fans because they're so passionate
and India fans they're just so passionate.

But you can definitely cross the line. Most of them

to see that for Harris.

because they won by eight wickets against the Windys and

three from that game. So I think we have underestimated England.

one was USA taking on South Africa. Marcus USA put
up a really strong fight here. The pro t is, yeah,

to go too far like winning because I've had a

England got the job done in the end pretty convincingly.
When West Indies had it really even, it was really
quickly as it was almost two a ball tens to go. Yeah,
so the West Indies but up one hundred and eighty
for four. Much better batting pitch than a few other

teams have seen in England. So off their twenty overs,
then England got one hundred and eighty one done eight
wickets spare one hundred and eighty one for two off
seventeen point three overs. It was almost to a ball
and then they've done it with two point three overs
to spare. England just got it done pretty easily. Who
also surprised mollin early only ball to I was got
one for fifteen, so I thought he probably deserves another
couple of overs.

How many day bowl what ever? It won too because
seven bowlers there. I saw that mark we've got smashed

think that would progress. But beaten the West Indies, that's
the best, their biggest. If they both win, could meet
each other in the final, that'd be great. They'll be
actually England. Yeah, who would we rather? I think we'd
rather play England over India in the final because India
a bit, but India like to come win the finals.

I'd rather play anyone but India in the Okay, even

They just have more depth and stars. Yeah, who would

Assuming I know the Westerns have been almost in better form,
but I probably rather play them. They're a lot less
experienced in the finals. England just a lot older, more experienced,

Let's get into this Super eight weekend tips.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Marcus will start off with huge clash tonight in Australia
India VERSU Afghanistan. Who are we taking and who's gonna
be the standout plays? And this one, Look, this is
going to be a close game. Will predicting this to
be very close. India haven't been great.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Afghanistan have been very good by their game against the
West Indies in the Undefeated, but they haven't been convincing
in a few of their games. Yes, yes, and I
just think that there they're lacking something there. I think
there's there's a little bit of identity missing. Obviously, Khali
has a new stripes. But I'm saying that they have
won every game. Charm has been really good, Khalie playing well.
So look, it's going to be tough.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Maybe India, just Indiajus you're going, okay, Maybe I'm going
to go Afghanistan. I think Gervas and Zadran in the
top order, if they make some runs, they can beat anyone.
Their top three is really good in this tournament. I'm
going towards Afghanistan.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Why not. I think just for brom is going to
be crucial. Juster Brombra.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yes, so they have been relying on Boomra a little
bit with the ball. You got a few other guys
that need a lift. If some other guys around Bomber
can left, if he only has to get to say
two or three wickets rather than four plus, then they're
not just relying on Boomra. I'm gonna lean towards Afghanistan
now that might It is going to be India's first
game in Barbados.

Yeah, and obviously Afghanistan played their first group stage games,
so could play effector there you go.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
So we've got a rich split on that one India
and Afghanistan next one. The first two Right game for
the Aussies Australia vers Bangladesh ten thirty am Stra time.
This is going to be really close as well. I
think Bangladesh have put up some really strong fights. I
didn't even pick them to make it out of the
Super Right. They had a horrible build up. They've bounced
back really really well. Their openers have done really well.
Their bowling has been really good, so this could be

pretty close. I think Australia has too much bowling depth though, yes,
and that's going to be the difference in this one.

Look, I think the warrior is Bangladesh with the bat.
They just don't make enough runs. No, they don't group
stage so far one hundred and twenty five against Sri Lanka,
but they obviously were chasing that and made that with
an over to spare. Against South Africa They're only made
one hundred and nine and lost that game bat at
the full twenty. Against Netherlands they made one fifty nine

and they're going to be facing a tougher bowlingttack in Australia. Yeah,
and also Nepal they got balled out for one hundred
and six. Yeah. I think if you're playing against Australia.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Other than a few little hiccups, Australia had a long
the way you've got to make one seventy plus, I'd say,
especially in the West Indies, because these pitchers have been
a lot nicer to bat on than the US pitches.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
So I think I'm going I'm gonna go to the Aussies.
I don't think it's gonna be close at all. You
don't think it's going to I think smash Bangladesh. Oh okay,
get a cheeky net run rate, cheeky net run rates.
I don't like that. I'm going to get the others.
I think this would be pretty close. Bangladesh. I think
last time we played had a really good opening partnership.
So just I don't know.

I don't mind Bangladesh to put up a fight. Yeah,
the Aussie should be in this one, similar to the
Scotland game. Just might be a little bit worrying the
big store and will come out and hit some bombs.
He's been he's been awesome. All right, let's do some
quick fire ones for the other games that are coming
up over the weekend.

England South Africa. Who you going? I will go with
England England. Yeah, I think I'm going to get South Africa.
I don't know they're undefeated, but they're frauds. I think
somehow they they just scraped over the wine against a
lot of teams. Next one, USA versus West Indies. USA
have been a surprise packet, but I have but tough askings.
The Windys in Barbados Windys for me. Yeah, Windy's with

the home crowd. Uh. Next one, I'll touch on India Bangladesh.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
There's been some pretty close matches, but India have really
strong record in.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
You with that, and they bowl Bangladeship for under one
hundred one hundred. Oh yeah, honestly, honestly they will. I'm
not very impressed with the Bangladesh batting, fun bowling. They
can cause some issues, all right, is a bit of
an issue. Get India pretty comfortable and that one as well.
All right, We're going to cover another Aussie game here,
Afghanistan Australia. We can go a bit more in depth
in the Aussies. Why not Afghanistan Australia. Yeah, who do

we think is going to rise in this one? Oh?
This is a tough one. This is like a toss
of the coin for me, I think we can get
some early wickets. Afghanistan are in some trouble. Yeah, because
I think you've mentioned that once you look past the
top three, four slim pickings for Afghanian.

Yeah, the games that they've won, Afghanistan's because their top
three is done really well. And obviously for Rukie's been
amazing with the ball. I'm actually can't and a few
other bowlers, but yeah, I think Stark is that man
guy that can get an earlier wicket and just go
straight through Afghanistan.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah, I don't think for Rookie will be a big
issue for Australia. He has taken the most wickets in
the tournament twelve, ahead of Norkia with ten, but has
played a game less. They've had a pretty easy group though.
Australia like pace on so far this tournament. You've seen
it when they play England with Mark Wooden, jew Archer
Warner love so, I think and Warner does as well,
so especially on these grounds which can be a little

bit short square boundaries. So look, I think spin is
the big issue with Zamster Green. With Amster grund Brush
you can't as standpoint of view, But of course we'll
have to We'll go Australia here just maybe thirty runs. Yeah,
I agree. I think it could come down to the
last couple of overs.

then Glenn Phillips doesn't really excite you Finalen possibly because

bit of a worry for news on the next captain.

That is a horrible thing to do. The absolutely dog

guy was holding him back. I think it was like
him against four people like that.

that the nerve to even go up to cricketer who
obviously wants to win for your country. And it was
very passionate in the India Pakistan game that we were
a lot of streaming, like you can see like it

hurt the Pakistan player. He's not trying to purposely lose.

And yeah, we love Pakistan fans because they're so passionate
and India fans they're just so passionate.

But the other thing is I don't rate To Africa
to go too far like winning because I've had a
lot of close games. They could have lost in a
pall and they could have lost to USA. That's a
bit of a way.

Yeah, I think I still think probably England and West
Indies go through that.

just played this morning. We did a bit of a

England got the job done in the end pretty convincingly.
When West Indies had it really even, it was really
quickly as it was almost two a ball tens to go. Yeah,
so the West Indies but up one hundred and eighty
for four. Much better batting pitch than a few other

teams have seen in England. So off their twenty overs,
then England got one hundred and eighty one done eight
wickets spare one hundred and eighty one for two off
seventeen point three overs. It was almost to a ball
and then they've done it with two point three overs
to spare. England just got it done pretty easily. Who
also surprised mollin early only ball to I was got
one for fifteen, so I thought he probably deserves another
couple of overs.

How many day bowl what ever? It won too because
seven bowlers there. I saw that mark we've got smashed
around and over. Joff actually went for a little bit
as well. But the West Indies was just shared the runs, yep.

But Robin Power did really well thirty six off seventy

That unreal but yeah, it was all about Phil Salt
and Johnny Bestow.

played some good shots. He was lucky with a couple
of shots. He just missed a couple of chop ones
that went for four. And then obviously he had the
one that we thought he scied, but the wind probably
carried it for six. But he still batted really well.

Phil Salt partnership before Phil Salt went off with the

under one hundred run partnership and they're both going one

think that would progress. But beaten the West Indies, that's
the best, their biggest. If they both win, could meet
each other in the final, that'd be great. They'll be

rather play England over India in the final because India
a bit, but India like to come win the finals.

Marcus will start off with huge clash tonight in Australia
India VERSU Afghanistan. Who are we taking and who's gonna
be the standout plays? And this one, Look, this is
going to be a close game. Will predicting this to
be very close. India haven't been great.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Afghanistan have been very good by their game against the
West Indies in the Undefeated, but they haven't been convincing
in a few of their games. Yes, yes, and I
just think that there they're lacking something there. I think
there's there's a little bit of identity missing. Obviously, Khali
has a new stripes. But I'm saying that they have
won every game. Charm has been really good, Khalie playing well.
So look, it's going to be tough.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Maybe India, just Indiajus you're going, okay, Maybe I'm going
to go Afghanistan. I think Gervas and Zadran in the
top order, if they make some runs, they can beat anyone.
Their top three is really good in this tournament. I'm
going towards Afghanistan.

Why not. I think just for brom is going to
be crucial. Juster Brombra.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yes, so they have been relying on Boomra a little
bit with the ball. You got a few other guys
that need a lift. If some other guys around Bomber
can left, if he only has to get to say
two or three wickets rather than four plus, then they're
not just relying on Boomra. I'm gonna lean towards Afghanistan
now that might It is going to be India's first
game in Barbados.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, and obviously Afghanistan played their first group stage games,
so could play effector there you go.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
So we've got a rich split on that one India
and Afghanistan next one. The first two Right game for
the Aussies Australia vers Bangladesh ten thirty am Stra time.
This is going to be really close as well. I
think Bangladesh have put up some really strong fights. I
didn't even pick them to make it out of the
Super Right. They had a horrible build up. They've bounced
back really really well. Their openers have done really well.
Their bowling has been really good, so this could be

pretty close. I think Australia has too much bowling depth though, yes,
and that's going to be the difference in this one.

Look, I think the warrior is Bangladesh with the bat.
They just don't make enough runs. No, they don't group
stage so far one hundred and twenty five against Sri Lanka,
but they obviously were chasing that and made that with
an over to spare. Against South Africa They're only made
one hundred and nine and lost that game bat at
the full twenty. Against Netherlands they made one fifty nine

and they're going to be facing a tougher bowlingttack in Australia. Yeah,
and also Nepal they got balled out for one hundred
and six. Yeah. I think if you're playing against Australia.

Other than a few little hiccups, Australia had a long
the way you've got to make one seventy plus, I'd say,
especially in the West Indies, because these pitchers have been
a lot nicer to bat on than the US pitches.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
So I think I'm going I'm gonna go to the Aussies.
I don't think it's gonna be close at all. You
don't think it's going to I think smash Bangladesh. Oh okay,
get a cheeky net run rate, cheeky net run rates.
I don't like that. I'm going to get the others.
I think this would be pretty close. Bangladesh. I think
last time we played had a really good opening partnership.
So just I don't know.

I don't mind Bangladesh to put up a fight. Yeah,
the Aussie should be in this one, similar to the
Scotland game. Just might be a little bit worrying the
big store and will come out and hit some bombs.
He's been he's been awesome. All right, let's do some
quick fire ones for the other games that are coming
up over the weekend.

England South Africa. Who you going? I will go with
England England. Yeah, I think I'm going to get South Africa.
I don't know they're undefeated, but they're frauds. I think
somehow they they just scraped over the wine against a
lot of teams. Next one, USA versus West Indies. USA
have been a surprise packet, but I have but tough askings.
The Windys in Barbados Windys for me. Yeah, Windy's with

the home crowd. Uh. Next one, I'll touch on India Bangladesh.

There's been some pretty close matches, but India have really
strong record in.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
You with that, and they bowl Bangladeship for under one
hundred one hundred. Oh yeah, honestly, honestly they will. I'm
not very impressed with the Bangladesh batting, fun bowling. They
can cause some issues, all right, is a bit of
an issue. Get India pretty comfortable and that one as well.
All right, We're going to cover another Aussie game here,
Afghanistan Australia. We can go a bit more in depth
in the Aussies. Why not Afghanistan Australia. Yeah, who do

we think is going to rise in this one? Oh?
This is a tough one. This is like a toss
of the coin for me, I think we can get
some early wickets. Afghanistan are in some trouble. Yeah, because
I think you've mentioned that once you look past the
top three, four slim pickings for Afghanian.

Yeah, the games that they've won, Afghanistan's because their top
three is done really well. And obviously for Rukie's been
amazing with the ball. I'm actually can't and a few
other bowlers, but yeah, I think Stark is that man
guy that can get an earlier wicket and just go
straight through Afghanistan.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah, I don't think for Rookie will be a big
issue for Australia. He has taken the most wickets in
the tournament twelve, ahead of Norkia with ten, but has
played a game less. They've had a pretty easy group though.
Australia like pace on so far this tournament. You've seen
it when they play England with Mark Wooden, jew Archer
Warner love so, I think and Warner does as well,
so especially on these grounds which can be a little

bit short square boundaries. So look, I think spin is
