Bij FC Twente hopen ze op een feestweekend en Heracles Almelo kan zich definitief veilig spelen. Zondagmiddag wordt de 33ste speelronde van de Eredivisie afgewerkt en nog niet alles is beslist. Hoe staan de Twentse ploegen ervoor? Clubwatchers Leon ten Voorde en Ralph Blijlevens blikken met host Frank Bussink vooruit op de duels van FC Twente en Heracles Almelo.
Maar er worden uiteraard genoeg andere zaken besproken. FC Twente Vrouwen kan zaterdagmiddag kampioen worden in De Grolsch Veste. Lukt dat, dan heeft de club FC Twente in totaal tien landstitels gepakt. Dan mág je een ster op het shirt dragen. Maar of de Tukkers dat moeten doen? Leon vindt van niet. En is Myron Boadu nou wel of niet geslaagd in Enschede?
In Almelo is dat ene puntje dat nodig is om zeker te zijn van lijfsbehoud in de Eredivisie nog altijd niet binnen. Sterker nog, na de 0-5 nederlaag tegen RKC Waalwijk is het gemoed op Erve Asito niet heel best. Trainer Erwin van de Looi liep deze week niet met een heel vrolijk gezicht rond, zag Ralph. „Bij FC Twente loopt de band langzaam leeg, lees je her en der. Is die van Heracles niet al helemaal plat?”, vraagt Frank zich af.
