Heracles Almelo trapt vanavond het Eredivisieweekend af tegen Go Ahead Eagles, terwijl FC Twente het weekend mag afsluiten met een uitwedstrijd tegen PSV. Wat is de laatste stand van zaken bij beide ploegen? Clubwatchers Ralph Blijlevens en Leon ten Voorde blikken met host Frank Bussink vooruit op speelronde 26 in de Eredivisie.
In Almelo ging het deze week vooral over het overlijden van Guus van Lenthe. Ralph vertelt over een anekdote op een trainingskamp van Heracles. Van Lenthe zag hoe vier spelers van Heracles een taxi pakten. „Hij gooide zijn peukje weg en zei: ‘hierover zul je mij nooit horen’.” Dat gebeurde onder het bewind van Gert-Jan Verbeek. Van Lenthe kon goed overweg met Verbeek, weet Leon.
Bij FC Twente moeten ze nog even wachten tot zondagavond. Gaat Joseph Oosting opnieuw verrassen met zijn tactisch plan in een duel met PSV? Niet qua formatie, verwacht Leon, maar misschien wel qua opstelling. „Myron Boadu is een week verder, dus misschien dat hij een uur kan spelen", aldus Leon. Met de ruimte die achter de defensie van PSV ligt, is dat niet eens heel gek, vindt Frank.
En dan is er nog nieuws over Alec van Hoorenbeeck, Ajdin Hrustic en Paul van der Kraan. Voor die laatste heeft Leon nog een bindend advies over een mogelijk stap naar Vitesse: „Doe het niet!”
