Na een week vol transfergeweld komen FC Twente en Heracles Almelo dit weekend weer in actie in de eredivisie. FC Twente ontvangt RKC Waalwijk en Heracles gaat op bezoek bij NEC in Nijmegen. Hoe staan de ploegen ervoor na een hectische week? Clubwatchers Leon ten Voorde en Ralph Blijlevens blikken met host Frank Bussink terug en vooruit in de podcast De Warming-up.
Allereerst hebben de heren het over de transfers. Is Myron Boadu een echte aanwinst of kan hij als hij nét fit is al weer retour naar het prinsendom? Anass Salah-Edinne, wat kunnen we van hem verwachten? Heracles Almelo kiest met Ajdin Hrustic en Fredrik Oppegaard voor twee huurlingen. Maar die langverwachte centrale verdediger, kwam er uiteindelijk niet.
Voor FC Twente geldt dat een week na het gelijkspel tegen Feyenoord in De Kuip in ieder geval meer fitte spelers op het veld staan. De zieke Sem Steijn en Ricky van Wolfswinkel zijn weer fit en ook Mees Hilgers is weer van de partij tegen RKC. Bij Heracles Almelo heerste het griepvirus ook, maar de piek lijkt te zijn geweest en dus heeft Erwin van de Looi wat meer te kiezen richting het duel met NEC.
