Today in Devious Motives: The October Surprise

The three big issues that are being talked about right now in the United States as we get ready for this election, continue to be the economy, crime, and of course, inflation. Now, on the Democrat side of the equation, it continues to be what's described as abortion, right, the abortion issue or choice. But I mean, I think we could just call it the termination of pregnancy policy. Right. I mean, which is essentially what this is, it's being offered up by the left and Joe Biden making a speech in the last 24 hours about the importance of codifying Roe vs. Wade. It was decided in 1973. He had 50 years to codify. It just never got around to doing it, I guess. So now, he's going to make that the number one issue, the number one issue for the return to power of the Democrats in the House in the Senate. And I'm telling you right now, if I were a woman who had as my main issue, pregnancy termination, I would be upset, because they know what the polls look like. They know the polls look like, Republicans are going to take the house, maybe take the Senate as well. And they're basically just telling you, we'll see, they want this thing to be kept as an issue because they don't have anything else. Inflation is killing people in this country. The strategic petroleum reserves are being tapped, Joe Biden said as much, we've gone from 485 million barrels all the way down to whatever it was in 1984.
